Daylight Saving Change - Now Alarm wont work

I think alot of people have had this problem. The alarm on my phone no longer works and if it does it goes off an hour early. Is this problem going to be fixed as i have only used an alarm on my cellphone for as long as i can remember and never had an issue with any other phones. If i had known that i wouldnt be able to use my alarm (very important feature) I would never have bought an iphone!! Please advise asap!

I actually just solved this issue on my ICloud Calendar on my PC It was an hour ahead since 3/10/13 due to daylight savings time. My Iphone was fine.
On the ICloud Calendar click on your name. The time zone shows up. In my case it said Central Standard Time so I thought it was okay. However if you click on the Time Zone a map comes up showing the time zone. It will indicate was city in the time zone you are using. Mine had a city in Guatemala. When I switched it to the closest city to me, it solved the problem.

The new itunes update will not install properly and now itunes wont work at all

k, so I tried installing the new update for itunes and now it wont work at all. it says that the mobile device isnt installed. i have uninstalled and reinstalled itunes 4 times now.

My issue is it wont even reinstall onto my computer
Yes I'm aware of that. The procedures are also for trying in cases where iTunes can't be reinstalled due to a "Could not start Apple Mobile Device service" message.
If you're getting a different error message relating to the Apple Mobile Device Service (or Apple Mobile Device Support) when you try to reinstall iTunes, post back to let us know what that error message says. (Precise text, please.)

That and when I plug the shuffle in to the comp iTunes doesn't reconize that the shuffle is pluged in.
it has updated a-few times. and when iTunes sees that the shuffle is in the comp it tells me that the songs are on the shuffle.............but when i unplug it and put my headphones in no music comes out of it!

I'm having the same problem! My good-for-nothing brother has formatted iPod shuffle through "My Computer" and now it won't work. Neither iTunes nor iPod software updater recognise the thing. To be honest, neither application even start when the shuffle is plugged in! And now I've just read that apple says you "SHOULD NOT FORMAT" shuffle. What am I to do? Have I lost my iPod for ever?

it wont even turn on, it keeps going back and forth between the black screen and then the apple mark pops up for a few seconds, and then turns back to the black screen again... and that just keeps going on...

Seems like ios6 isn't any good for any of their devices. I have an iPhone 4 and recently updated to ios6 and have had all the wifi problems and apps getting hung up on load screens. Restore is your best bet and downgrade if you can back to ios 5.1. If restore doesn't help with a fresh install of ios6 then call every Apple support number you can find and be heard like the 1,000s of other people like us with ios6 problems demanding support. There doesn't seem to be any quick fixes for ios6 other than an update from Apple.

First of all, try resetting the iPod. It may take several attempts and is best done connected power.
Then download the iPod Updater, install this to your computer, restart the computer, run the Updater, then connect your iPod when prompted (not before), then follow the set up procedure.

If your problem persists get yourself a micro USB cable (sold separately), you can restore your Apple TV from iTunes:
Remove ALL cables from Apple TV. (if you don't you will not see Apple TV in the iTunes Source list)
Connect the micro USB cable to the Apple TV and to your computer.
Reconnect the power cable (only for Apple TV 3)
Open iTunes.
Select your Apple TV in the Devices list, and then click Restore.
(You may already have a micro USB cable if you have a camera or other digital device)

Downloaded IO5 to my 3gs and now it wont work

I just tried to download IO5 to my 3GS and now it wont work, boots up in Japanese or maybe arabic and wont let me do anything, was working OK before the download, Itunes says "no sim card present"

Keep trying. The update server is overloaded. You will eventually get through and your update will continue where it left off.
I got the error message about 12 times before it finally connected and continued.

Daylight Saving Changes 2007

Hi, I am using new_time() function in my code which takes timezone abbreviations like (PST, CST) to convet time from one timezone to other. As a part of DST changes in March 2007, do we also need to change this function to use abbreviations other than this?
I tried doing this, but it returns an error.

Some more information would be nice (how many computers are in the domain?), but I think I have what you're looking for.
What you need to do is change a registry key in the client computers. It's located in the registry at
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\TimeZoneInformation
The string name is DynamicDaylightTimeDisabled and the value for this item is
0 (Kind of weird - by entering 0, you're saying "No, I DON'T want to DISable daylight savings time).
Of course, you'll need to deploy this registry information to the clients from the server. There are several ways to do it, but the first one I'd try is to create a registry preference item on the server and deploy it as a GPP.

Did you try shutting the phone off and then re-powering it with any results.. ? Give that a try see what it does it may help push the Number through or Try this Dial * 228 send then 1 to reactivate it try that see if that works..
