Db adap

db adapter in soa 11g.
we have table with 5 columns and created a db adapter on this table. we later change and alter this table now it has 7 columns. shouldnt our existing db adapter automatically syncronize to 7 columns ?? its not happening even after we doucle click and run the db adapter wizard.
do we have to delete the existing adapter and recreate new each time a columns gets added ?

Hi,
Running the wizard again (with next next..) will not help. You have to search again the table in order to update it.
When you use the DbAdapter wizard, you are actually "getting help" with wrapping a db connection & operation to a service. In the end of this wizard,
you will end up with some files and configuration at your Composite level, that will later on be part of your process.
That is why, when you alter the table, it is not being automatically changed in your process.

  • I use Yahoo as my home page. As soon as I left it, the screen was grabbed by something that took it to a page including "adap.tv" in the URL. Help!

    I use current version of Firefox on a Windows XP desktop machine. I normally use Yahoo as my home page and Firefox as my browser. Starting a few weeks ago, when I clicked on a link on the main Yahoo page, I would get about one second of whatever it was I wanted to read or see then another screen that included "adap.tv" in the very long URL would replace it. Starting yesterday, this program began to override the security settings in Firefox that told it to NOT change the home page and I now get about one second of Yahoo before it switches to a page with "adap.tv" in the "URL". I have reloaded Firefox without success.

    Try to reset your Firefox

  • How to get ethernet packet directly from adaper in labview6.1

    I want to get the ethernet packet directly from adaper directly. Which control or function should I use?

    If you really need to work with raw ethernet frames, I think you'll want to turn to something outside of built-in LabVIEW functionality.
    One approach would be to purchase or download dedicated packet-capture (aka packet sniffer, network monitor) software that provides a developer API (e.g. a DLL with various packet access/filtering/analysis functions), then access that API from LabVIEW (e.g. by using the Call Library Function Node).
    Here's one such piece of software, called WinPCap:
    http://winpcap.polito.it/
    You didn't give many details about your application.
    So, I'm going to get up on my soapbox for a moment and urge you to reconsider whether you really need to go this low-level. I'd suggest carefully defining your goal and making sure you can't a
    chieve it with higher-level functions like TCP Read and TCP Write in LabVIEW.

    Hi, I have a new MacBook Pro with Miniport connected to a Cinema 30 using the Mini DisplayPort to Dual-Link DVI Adapter. I upgraded from the previous version of the Macbook Pro w/built-in DVI and never had a problem.
    From the moment I started using this new miniport adapter with the Cinema 30, I noticed intermittent graphic anomalies. Most of the time, discolored lines will start rapidly popping in and out across the screen - especially noticeable with dark backgrounds. Here are a couple of quick videos that visualize the problem.
    Video 1 - http://is.gd/krM6
    Video 2 - http://is.gd/krLT
    I'm also experiencing issues with the cursor randomly jumping across the screen.
    It's isolated to the 30 cinema and the adapter. The Macbook Pro works fine when connected tot he new 24" LED Cinema.
    Any advice on what to do? Is it a faulty adapter? Is there a SW/Firmware upgrade?
    Thank you!

    I'm having the exact same problem. Have you called Apple and if so, what did they say? I read in a magazine that you can switch to the NVIDIA GeForce 9600M GT graphics processor some how with in our computer. I don't know how or if this may solve the problem.

  • How to populate target directory from the source XML in Receiver File Adap?

    Hi All,
    Our scenario is IDoc - XI -(Receiver File adapter) File. Is it possible to populate complete "Target Directory" from the source XML message??
    Lets say we added field to maintain target directory in Idoc structure and some how populated value to it, then grab this target directory from the IDoc-XML and pass in Comunication Channel. I think its possible through Variable Substitation ...just want to make sure and if sombody has done the similar scenario their inputs would be great.
    Thanx

  • Can a Stored Procedure be called from a Rule (not using Scripted JDBC Adap)

    Hello smart people,
    Question: Can a stored procedure be called from a Rule without using the Scripted JDBC Resource Adapter?
    What's Desired: The project has very strong sql developers and average at best Java developers. We have been successful at implementing the scripted JDBC Resource Adapter which makes use of Java Bean shells. The custom Java Bean shell contains code that calls a stored procedure. We are cool with that process.
    However we would like to be able to set up a Rule that calls a Stored Procedure without jumping thru the Java Bean Shell layer. The Stored Procedures we will be developing will not access the tables in the Waveset database. Instead the Stored Procedures will be accessing custom tables in a custom database. The custom DBase will be housed on the same dBase server as the Waveset database.
    Environment: Identity Manager 7.1. Oracle 10i, and Unix OS.
    It seems to me that this task is possible, but the posts in this forum make it sound like perhaps it is not.
    Do any of you smart people agree that it should be possible or better yet has anyone implemented such an approach?
    Thanks.

    We did this by putting all of the JDBC calls into a Java class, then instantiated that class and called the methods from within a rule. An example of a rule we used is this:
    <Rule authType='UserMembersRule' name='List UserType'>
      <block>
        <defvar name='adapter'>
          <new class='com.waveset.adapter.ScriptedJdbcResourceAdapter'/>
        </defvar>
        <invoke name='setResource'>
          <ref>adapter</ref>
          <invoke name='getObject' class='com.waveset.ui.FormUtil'>
            <ref>context</ref>
            <s>Resource</s>
            <s>Banner</s>
          </invoke>
        </invoke>
        <defvar name='jdbcHelper'>
          <new class='edu.bates.JDBCHelper'>
            <invoke name='getConnection'>
              <ref>adapter</ref>
            </invoke>
          </new>
        </defvar>
        <defvar name='userList'>
          <new class='java.util.ArrayList'/>
        </defvar>
        <invoke name='addQueryToList'>
          <ref>jdbcHelper</ref>
          <s>SQL QUERY HERE</s>
          <ref>userList</ref>
        </invoke>
        <ref>userList</ref>
      </block>
      <MemberObjectGroups>
        <ObjectRef type='ObjectGroup' id='#ID#Top' name='Top'/>
      </MemberObjectGroups>
    </Rule>

  • How to get the name of the attachment in Sender Mail Adaper?

    hi mates,
    I've scenario a where in I need to pick up a mail with an attachment and change its extension and send it to target system using file adapter.
    I'm able to pick up the mail with attachment using sender mail adapter but not able to get the name of the attachment so that I can use it in mapping or on the adapter configuration. How do I read the name of the attachment and manupulate it?
    I looked at the thread sender mail adapter - attachment name But the solution is not described. I think Stefan is talking about the SP!2 for PI 7.0. I'm on XI 3.0 what is the equivalent SP for that, SP20? Stefan, can you please throw me more light on it?
    I appreciate your valuable inputs
    thx in adv
    praveen

    Thanks Aamir.
    Earlier I replied to that thread asking for more details...but did not see the response...
    anyways, thanks for your quick help..
    but I wonder abt the PI SP12/ XI SP20 pre-requisite. We can have adapter modules on SPs lower than PI SP12/XI SP20 as well, can we not?
    thanks

  • Outbound File Adaper : Dynamic configuration of FileSize and number of msg

    I want to configure dynamically following parameters of Outbound file adapter
    1) Number of Message equals
    2)Elapsed time exceeds
    3)File size exceeds
    If we set all those parameter at designtime then automatically it stored at adapter.wsdl file but how can I change those parameter at runtime.
    Let me know regarding this.
    Thanks in Advance

    Noway.
    Only statically. Stop adapter, change in manually and restart adapter.
    Or write your own adapter in java.
    Or create several adapters with different configuration and pick appropriate adapter dynamically.

    Hi
    one week ago i bought a zen microphoto 8gb and i should say its really really cool!

    And infact it is not charging at all.
    Is there a problem with my reader or its just that you can charge it only with his original Creative charger?

  • Receiver HTTP Adaper Response Message problem

    We are using HTTP adapter as the receiver for one of our vendor to post XML PO's to vendor's URL.
    We are using Transport Protocol-HTTP 1.0
    Message Protocol-XI Payload in HTTP Body
    Adapter Engine-Integration Engine.
    When PO is posted good on vendor's site we get "200" as the reponse message and when PO is failed in the vendor system due to mapping problems still we get "200" response message, Vendor's are sending "400" message for the failure to update their system but our server is not waiting to get "400" response messages. It picks the message of "200" when PO is posted on vendor's URL it is not waiting to get the next message.
    Does anyone can help me to resolve this problem.
    Thanks in advance!
    Mrudula Patel

    Hi Mrudula,
      Can you eloborate bit more on this scenario,
    1) 200 - for posting successfully in Vendor's site
    2) 400 - if Business logic fails at Vendor's site
    3)  ?? - Sucessful transaction (Biz Logic).
    If there is only one response, which gives either 2 or 3, then you can pick up the appropriate one & post the sender with the results. The HTTP adapter's call closes once it recieves ANY reponse from recieving site (Vendor).
    hope this helps.
    Regards

  • Compact Flash Adap

    Hi everybody, new to this forum so excuse me if I cover a topic already covered. I've done a search but nothing relevant and up to date comes up.
    Ive got a Zen Vision great machine, it does everything I wanted and more BUT; I bought a compact flash adaptor from Jessops so I could transfer pictures from my Fuji cameras xd flash card to my Zen. When I try to transfer anything it says "compact flash is not formatted with a supported filesystem"
    Please can somebody help as this is something I really need. How do I format the adaptor!!!
    Many thanks

    GaryY,
    The player support file system formatted in FAT6 or FAT32. Perhaps that's why the problem lies if your CF card is in another type of file system.

  • Tion in thread "main" java.sql.SQLException: Io exception: The Network Adap

    I know this has been posted repeatedly. However, I have tried all the generic solutions Mine is a little different.
    1. I can connect with SQLPLUS to the database. I am on windows XP connecting to Oracle 10g on a Solaris box. So the listener is running.
    2. Here is my tnsnames.ora entry which works with SQLPLUS:
    I can tnsping this address
    SID_NAME =
      (DESCRIPTION =
        (ADDRESS_LIST =
          (ADDRESS = (PROTOCOL = TCP)(HOST = IP_NUMBER)(PORT = 1521))
        (CONNECT_DATA =
          (SERVICE_NAME = SID_NAME)
      )I am trying to run the following sample code:
    * This sample shows how to list all the names from the EMP table
    * It uses the JDBC THIN driver.  See the same program in the
    * oci8 samples directory to see how to use the other drivers.
    package basic;
    // You need to import the java.sql package to use JDBC
    import java.sql.*;
    class Employee
      public static void main (String args [])
           throws SQLException
        // Load the Oracle JDBC driver
        DriverManager.registerDriver(new oracle.jdbc.OracleDriver());
        // Connect to the database
        // You must put a database name after the @ sign in the connection URL.
        // You can use either the fully specified SQL*net syntax or a short cut
        // syntax as <host>:<port>:<sid>.  The example uses the short cut syntax.
        String url = "jdbc:oracle:thin:@IP_NAME:1521:SID_NAME";
        String userName = "USERNAME";
        String password = "PASSWORD";
        if (args.length > 0) url = args[0];
        if (args.length > 1) userName = args[1];
        if (args.length > 2) password = args[2];
        //Connection conn =
        //  DriverManager.getConnection (url, userName, password);
    Connection conn =
        DriverManager.getConnection("jdbc:oracle:thin:@(DESCRIPTION=(ADDRESS_LIST=(ADDRESS=(PROTOCOL=TCP)(HOST=IP_NUMBER:1521)(PORT=1521)))(CONNECT_DATA=(SID=SID_NAME)(SERVER=DEDICATED)))", "USERNAME", "PASSWORD");
        // Create a Statement
        Statement stmt = conn.createStatement ();
        // Select the ENAME column from the EMP table
        ResultSet rset = stmt.executeQuery ("select object_name from user_objects");
        // Iterate through the result and print the employee names
        while (rset.next ())
          System.out.println (rset.getString (1));
    }I also used the following IP
    Connection conn =
          DriverManager.getConnection (url, userName, password);

    Replace the url with
    String url = "jdbc:oracle:thin:@IP_NUMBER:1521:SID_NAME";

  • Help with non-Creative Travel Adap

    I have a Zen Plus V 8gb player. I bought a Hammacher Schlemmer travel adapter/converter (00v-240v) with USB port for an upcoming trip around the world. I plugged the USB cable into the mp3 player, however the little battery wasn't indicating that charging was occurring.
    Does anyone have experience with this adapter, or can think of a reason it wouldn't be compatible? I've received feedback that it works with recharging Ipods via USB. I'm concerned I received a defecti've unit because the USB light doesn't shine as bright as the AC light when "charging" items.
    http://www.hammacher.com/publish/73996.asp

    Yes, I do see the blue lights fading in and out, so that did confuse me a bit. I probably didn't leave the player plugged in long enough to verify it was actually charging the battery a noticeable amount. Another problem that occurred was the converter/adapter has an auto-shutoff if it gets too hot. When I had the mp3 player hooked up, over about 20 minutes, a buzzing slowly became louder, until the adapter did the auto shutoff.
    That worried me a bit given it can take 6 hours to charge the player, and?I'm going to be staying in public hostels where the?noise would be too likely to bother others around me.
