DB instance not working
SQL developer version: 4.1.0.18.37
When I click the DB Instance link, I see the following page:
Any ideas what the Java error relates to ?
Same problem 4.1EA2 Instance Viewer - waiting ..........
maybe the well known bug about XML and new JDBC driver agains an older db-version (11.2.0.2)?

Hi,
i have changed my MAXDB user(SAPJ2EDB) password in config tool in secure store node (parameter: jdbc/pool/J2E/Password). After the password changes, when i re-started the server, my J2E instance is not started running. The jcontrol.exe file is stopped with the following trace log

because of the changes done by me in config tool, the username / password combination is not considered by the system properly i think. Anyways not sure what went on wrong ?
Any idea ?
Raja SHi,
You changed the password in J2EE instance , however maybe the change didn't go thru into the Database.
You need to change the database password, check this link

Prepopulate process form of Disconnected Application Instance not working
Hi All,
I have a created a Disconnected application instance (OIM 11.1.2) and need to prepopulate Process form when this will be requested from catalog.
Prepopulating is working but not as expected.
Exact Situation
1) Login to self service page and select a user
2) from accounts tab -> click request Account
3) Catalog page will be opened and select the disconnected application instance
4) check out
5) In the check out page, process form and child form are displayed(I attached child form also)
6) "Prepopulate adapters are not populating the fields in check out page"
7) Submit the request with blank details (blank form fields).
8) Log out and Login as 'Xelsysadm' (By default request goes to 'XELSYSADM'). When opened the request, Here fields are prepopulated
Required
1) Fields should be prepopulated in check Out page, before submiting the request.So, that the requestor could view the details before submitting.
The following are checked
1) In the process definition (from design Console) of disconnected app instance, 'Auto save form' and 'Auto prepopulate' is checked
Please tell me, what else could be done, to make this work
Thanks in advance....
Edited by: kavatam on May 30, 2013 3:21 AMThanks for reply..
I could not find "oracle.iam.request.plugins.PrePopulationAdapter" details in OIM 11.1.2 API http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E27559_01/apirefs.1112/e28159/toc.htm
Could u please share API details, and link where I can find its details....

If I go to MMC > Going to Java Instance > jstart.EXE.
This is currently stopped.

Vivek
Really sorry for putting one more question, i slipped to see the same question in the forum.
I am facing the same problem at the thread --> jstart.exe stopped by Dilipkumar Patel with heading jstart.exe stopped
Edited by: Vivek Kumar Mishra on Feb 25, 2008 3:15 PMHi Vivek,
See if the newly published [AS Java Troubleshooting Guide|https://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/display/JSTS] can help you out. The pilot version deals exactly with the "server doesn't start up" issue.
And please share your feedback

DG4MSQL: Multiple instances not working (only single instance)?
Hi I've been successfully using DG4MSQL for months to extract data from a local SQL Server 2005 instance to our 10g Ent 10.2.0.3 instance.
Today I was asked to add two more SQL server DB links on separate servers running the same version of SQL Server. Using the directions here seemed pretty straight forward, but I still can't get my two new SIDs (defined in the same listener) to respond. Every query over one of my new database links yields the usual
ORA-28545: error diagnosed by Net8 when connecting to an agent
Unable to retrieve text of NETWORK/NCR message 65535
ORA-02063: preceding 2 lines from VHAV10PCSSQL
and my listener log shows a captain obvious:
TNS-12505: TNS:listener does not currently know of SID given in connect descriptor
Does anyone have experience setting up multiple gateways with DG4MSQL and SQL Server? I think the instructions may be missing something.
listener.ora:

)Hi thanks for the reply.
Yes I did restart the listener using an /etc/init.d/oracle_dg4msql script I created when I established the original instance. Interestingly, the output mentions only the one dg4msql instance with one service. It's like my listener.ora isn't even being used or the oracle_home isn't set correctly... D'oh!! Thanks for making me take a closer look. The correct listener.ora is not +/export/app/oracle-ee/product/dg4msql/dg4msql/admin/listener.ora+, it's +/export/app/oracle-ee/product/dg4msql/network/admin/listener.ora+. Yet another headache averted. Talk about annoyance! I'll put a big fat README reminder in that faux config folder. Thank you again.

I have just installed FMS2. I bring up the management
console, click view applications and then I click on new instance
so that I can define my application, but it doesn't do anything.
Any suggestions? Thanks.You normally create a subdirectory for every new application
you develop since you are going to write some server-sided
action-script (a file called main.asc).
After that you don't have to create any subdirs anymore. FMS
will create subdirs for each instance you if you are going to
record streams, but you might have to create a "streams" subdir. It
all depends a bit on the security-settings (user account, write
permissions etc) in the 'applications' directory of your FMS. -

It seems that your OAF linked page is requiring a session - or at minimum a user that is logged in. I'd check to see if your link is correct, then check to see if any single sign on operations are also working. (i.e. it doesn't appear that you are linking to a public page - or have an active session - on your second instance. If your user should be able to see the OAF page without logging in, I'd also check the EBS responsibilties that you have set up for that particular page access.)

Instance Dependent Public Method is not working for Workflow
Hello Experts,
I have made Custom class for a workflow. This class is triggering the WF fine but the problem is while trying to execute a WF task which contains a Instance Dependent & Public method its not working , the WF task is not processing though I'm passing the instance of the class properly from WF to WF task . When I'm changing the method to Static & Public then the workitem is executing perfectly. Can you please help & suggest the way to find the problem ?
Thanks & Regards ,
JeetAre you absolutely sure that you have the instance of the object in the workflow container? Open the technical log the see if the object instance is there - or is the container element initial (or "not set")?
yes it is instantiated properly no error over there.
What about if you test the method directly in SE24 (as an instance method)? Is it working then? If you can make it work in SE24 as an instance method and you are sure that the instance exists in the workflow,
I have checked the class in a stand alone run in this case also it runs fine as before.
The obvious question of course is that have you implemented the IF_WORKFLOW interface methods (the two first ones).
it is coded like below
BI_PERSISTENT~FIND_BY_LPOR
create object result
type
(lpor-typeid)
exporting
ip_key = lpor-instid.
CONSTRUCTOR
me->m_KEY = ip_key.
me->m_por-catid = 'CL'.
me->m_por-typeid = CL_ZZZ'.
me->m_por-instid = me->m_key
BI_PERSISTENT~LPOR
result = me->m_por.
Main confusion is Method is working only if declared STATIC & PUBLIC but not for the INSTANCE DEPENDENT & PUBLIC. -
Reverser Replication not working for 2 Publish Instance
We have setup environment for 1 author and 2 Publish servers. Configured replication agent and reverse replication agent for both Publish Instances. For custom created comments (Java code from external Portal to create comment node) then reverse replication does not replicate comment on Author Instance. But when I post comment for campaign through CQ publish environment then it works properly. It gets replicated on Author Instance. So can anyone let me know what could be missing part for comments generated through custom java script.
YogeshHi Sham,
In one of environment we are using publish and author server. Custom comments are replicating on Author environment. We are not using custom workflow or JCR observation.Created one more environment for Production setup where 2 publish and 1 author instance. For this comment are not auto replicated on Author instance.
Default comment modification and comment activation launcher are in place, no change in this. Does it not working due to additional Publish Instance and if so what additional setting will required to address it ?
Thanks

[SOLVED] netctl-auto not working, and I cannot remove netctl instance
Hi, I installed Arch a few days ago, netctl-auto was working yesterday but today it's not.
Note that
netctl start
works: I have a problem with netctl-auto only.
$ ping -c 3 8.8.8.8
connect: Network in unreachable
I have created only one netctl profile so far, it's called wlp4s0-VM581389-2G (wlp4s0 is the name of my wireless interface)
$ ls /etc/netctl
examples hooks interfaces wlp4s0-VM581389-2G
$ netctl list
wlp4s0-VM581389-2G
wpa_actiond is installed, and I have done
systemctl enable [email protected]
But for some reason I have some extra netctl@ instances that shouldn't be there. I am wondering if they could be the cause of netctl-auto not working properly:
$ systemctl | grep netctl
[email protected] loaded active running Automatic wireless network connection using netctl profiles
● netctl@my\x2dnetwork.service loaded failed failed Networking for netctl profile my-network
● netctl@wlp4s0\x2dVM581389\x2d2G.service loaded failed failed Networking for netctl profile wlp4s0-VM581389-2G
system-netctl.slice loaded active active system-netctl.slice
system-netctl\x2dauto.slice loaded active active system-netctl\x2dauto.slice
- What are these bullet points at the beginning of these two lines?
- Where do netctl@my\x2dnetwork.service and netctl@wlp4s0\x2dVM581389\x2d2G.service come from? They might be instances that I had enabled in the past.
These instances are not enabled and they are inactive, but they are loaded!
$ systemctl is-enabled netctl@my\x2dnetwork.service
Failed to get unit file state for [email protected]: No such file or directory
$ systemctl status netctl@my\x2dnetwork.service
● [email protected] - Networking for netctl profile myx2dnetwork
Loaded: loaded (/usr/lib/systemd/system/[email protected]; static; vendor preset: disabled)
Active: inactive (dead)
Docs: man:netctl.profile(5)
I have tried to get rid of them, but not managed:
$ systemctl stop netctl@my\x2dnetwork.service
$ systemctl disable netctl@my\x2dnetwork.service
$ systemctl | grep netctl
[email protected] loaded active running Automatic wireless network connection using netctl profiles
netctl.service loaded active exited (Re)store the netctl profile state
● netctl@my\x2dnetwork.service loaded failed failed Networking for netctl profile my-network
● netctl@wlp4s0\x2dVM581389\x2d2G.service loaded failed failed Networking for netctl profile wlp4s0-VM581389-2G
system-netctl.slice loaded active active system-netctl.slice
system-netctl\x2dauto.slice loaded active active system-netctl\x2dauto.slice
[user@mascip-toshiba ~]$ systemctl daemon-reload
[user@mascip-toshiba ~]$ systemctl | grep netctl

netctl.service loaded active exited (Re)store the netctl profile state

● netctl@wlp4s0\x2dVM581389\x2d2G.service loaded failed failed Networking for netctl profile wlp4s0-VM581389-2G
system-netctl.slice loaded active active system-netctl.slice
system-netctl\x2dauto.slice loaded active active system-netctl\x2dauto.slice
Also, I have tried to check with
netctl-auto list
, which gives an empty output. I am guessing that it's normal, because the netctl-auto instances are managed by systemd?
Now, trying to understand what is happening to [email protected]: as seen before with systemctl | grep netctl, it is active and running.
Then I do:
$ journalctl -u [email protected]
-- Reboot --
Feb 10 17:34:23netctl-auto[270]: Included profile: 'wlp4s0-VM581389-2G'
wpa_actiond[310]: Starting wpa_actiond session for interface 'wlp4s0'
So, a wpa_actiond session was started, but I still cannot ping 8.8.8.8. Why?
Investigating further:
$ netctl status wlp4s0-VM581389-2G
● netctl@wlp4s0\x2dVM581389\x2d2G.service - Networking for netctl profile wlp4s0-VM581389-2G

What does this mean? Which file might have been left by an unclean termination? I tried to find this info in the wpa_supplicant documentation, and by searching on Google, but couldn't find anything.
Now I am lost:
- how do I get rid of these two undesired netctl instances?
- where can I investigate next, to get netctl-auto@wlp4s0 to work?
Any help greatly appreciated :-)

I want to configure an email notification to whenever an instance is activated.
I have followed one How-To guide and basically I have created and activated a template in SAP GUI with transaction se38 and a program called UJB_MAINTAIN_EMAIL_TMPL.
Also, the web server was configured by systems admin.
But still is not working.
I am completely new with SAP BPC so I donu2019t know what more can I do to solve the problem.
Hope you can help me.

Adobe After Effects Multiple instances does not working parallel using Scripting
Hi all,
i am uploading after effects template to my site, user came and upload his desired contents.
i update the template using scripting with user's contents and then render video so user get video with his uploaded text/images etc.
its working perfectly when i update a single template at a time but when multiple users come at the same time then they need multiple instances of after effects
so i open multiple instances of after effects by using "-m" with after effects shortcut
after looking at windows task manager there are both instances but the problem is
only once instance continue and the second one stop, after completion of first instance the second one still in pause status
i need 2,3 4 or whatever instances to work parallel without pause/stop
i am using windows server 2008 R2 with XAMP installedHi Lal XaDa,
Would you please post your script to help us to troubleshoot?
In addition, if you can use Windows Powershell, please try these ways:
If a script needs some speed-up, you might find background jobs helpful, you can use the cmdlet "start-job", for more detailed information, please go through this article:
Parallel Processing in PowerShell
You can also use the cmdlet ForEach -Parallel in powershell workflow to handle script in parallel.
For more detailed information, please check this article:
about_Foreach-Parallel
If there is anything else regarding this issue, please feel free to post back.

I have done 2 samples using fork and in both the cases it is not working. For each message new BPM is triggered and only one step (branch) gets completed and other branch steps remain in ready state forever.
1) I have tested standard BPM pattern BpmPatternCollectMultiIf
2) Simple process using fork - two branches using different inetrfaces (having different message types)
Integration process return code is 0 - runtime cache
I am testing on local sandbox (XI 3.0) with SP17.
Under SAP help only brief description available about fork. Please share if you have good references/samples about fork (BPM).Jai,
1)I expect following result in case of standard BPM pattern "BpmPatternCollectMultiIf"
Note: Here same message type for all 3 interfaces ( branches), no end condition, no of branches = 3
As all message types are same when I send first message only one branch will be executed and outbound status under sxmb_moni with be clock (Message being sent). When I send 2 message, second branch will be completed and status will be clock again. And when I send 3 rd message all branches will be completed and outbound status will be success flag (Message successful on outbound side). Under one process id three messages will be displayed
Actual result is every time status as clock. and for each message new fork instance is created. below are the processids for 3 messages
133721
133726 -
unexpected
133731 -
unexpected
Ideally when you send 3 messages all should be process under process ids 133721 to 133725
2) I have tried fork with 3 branches with different message types. When I send 3 messages ( here each payload is different as per message type ) I expect success flag after 3rd message. But in this case also always the status as clock. and every time new fork instance.
Is anybody successful to test BPM pattern -> BpmPatternCollectMultiIf?

Printing from an iPad without a WiFi Connection?
