Debug plugin corresponding to Chrome built-in 11.3.31.222 (or, in general)?

Howdy. I've gotten some crash reports for our game against the Google Chrome built-in Flash plugin, and have been trying to reproduce the crash in the debug plugin, but haven't had any success so far. Before abandoning the debug plugin and resorting to printf debugging, I thought I'd try and at least make sure I was attempting to reproduce with a debug version that corresponds to the latest Chrome built-in Flash plugin.
So, I'm wondering (1) whether a debug plugin version exists for each built-in Chrome Flash plugin version in general, and (2) whether there's a debug plugin specifically for 11.3.31.222 (which is the latest deployed at this time AFAIK).

Can someone from Adobe speak to whether or not they will be offering the Reader and Acrobat plugins back into Chrome built on PPAPI or HTML5? Google deprecated NPAPI for multiple reasons, but I hope Adobe is looking to bring these plugins back to Chrome on newer tech?? These are used heavily in enterprise applications for end users....

I would imagine they are working on it but that's only conjecture. Anyone that knows will not be able to say due to an NDA.

There is no problem with either internet explorer or mozilla firefox at all. They are automatically plugined by adobe install.

Your mileage may vary but here's what I've done to get debugging up and running.
Use at your own risk, no guarantees...the usual stuff. :-)
In searchctl.bat, there's a command line to start javaw. (Shouldn't be hard to find.)
I added the following command line parameters:
-Xdebug -Xrunjdwp:transport=dt_socket,address=4000,server=y,suspend=n
I put those command line parameters between "javaw.exe" and "-Xrs". If you put 'em in the wrong spot, you'll have troubles.
That means my command line in searchctl.bat starts out looking like this after my modification:
%OH%\jdk\bin\javaw.exe -Xdebug -Xrunjdwp:transport=dt_socket,address=4000,server=y,suspend=n -Xrs...<stuff omitted>
Restart SES. Your plugins can now be remotely debugged.
In JDev, I created a new debug run configuration. Edit the new run configuration and click the checkbox that says "Remote Debugging and Profiling".
Still in the same window, you'll see a tree on the left hand side. Click the node that says "Remote". It should be the bottom option.
On the right hand side of the dialog, your display will change.
On the Protocol pull-down, select Attach to JPDA.
In the host text box, enter your host name. You don't need a bunch of path or port information...just the server name. For me, since I've got a test environment on my machine, I enter localhost.
Leave 4000 in the port
Specify whatever timeout you like. (I left mine at 2).
Click OK.
Start your debug session using the newly created debug run configuration.
By doing this, I've been able to successfully debug Authorization Managers, Query Filters, etc.
Some things to probably keep in mind if you get debugging up and running...
1) You may want to mess around with the number of threads and timeout options on the SES admin screens.
2) You may have to restart SES if you make a change and redeploy your jar file.
3) Bad things have happened to me if I restarted SES before I actually logged out. :-) Make sure and logout of the search and admin pages before restarting SES.

Debug plugins

Is there a way to debug the event handler plugins. I am using eclipse and am trying to find out if it is possible to attach eclipse to the OIM server and do runtime debugging. The system outs seem like a pretty primitive way to debug and quite annoying as well.
If anyone else has another way please let me know.

I'm developing plugins with the "Acrobat SDK 8.1" and I'm new with all this technology. I've been able to build a project afer discovering "Visual Studio App Wizard" but I can't get how to debug using Visual Studio 2005 C++. The Acrobat SDK 8.1 documentation explains a way to debug but I don't understand what I have to do.

Flash videos don't work with PepperFlash disabled (but with system plugin enabled) on Chrome!

Basically, Google Chrome lags a lot when I use PepperFlash and so I have heard that disabling it and using the system flash will have better performance. I have done this but when I disable PepperFlash, the flash videos don't work as it says flash player has crashed. Also, I would like to resolve the lag and bad performance with flash videos on chrome because the video playback on Internet Explorer is a lot better than Chrome(Never thought I would have to say that) atm. A possible solution might be to install 32-Bit Chrome instead
Summary:
Flash videos lag(most likely due to PepperFlash being used according to other people)
When PepperFlash is disabled, the system flash plugin does not work in chrome as it apparently crashes every time.
I would like help on how to resolve the bad performance and be able to use the system flash plugin to have no lag on videos and livestreams.

Help! - "missing plugin" victim here (Chrome).

Hi all,
I get this "missing plugin" error on all the flash objects such as youtube clips and other videos etc. I am using Chrome and have checked that adobe flash is enabled in about:plugins and it is.
What's going on?
Btw, flash is working fine in other browsers such as FF.

Debug plugin applet in remote VM

I am trying to debug a test applet I created so that the debugger will interact with the plug in.
I have tried to follow all the information I have found in the subject.
1. Added the parameter to the plugin console
-Djava.compiler=NONE
-Xnoagent
-Xdebug
-Xrunjdwp:transport=dt_socket,address=jorgefnt:1801,server=y,suspend=y
When I tried to attach my debugger (through Forte4J) I get the following message
Debugger exception: Exception while starting debugger:
Cannot connect to remote vm
java.net.ConnectException: Connection refused: no further information.
What am I missing so that I can connect?
I am using jre 1.3.0_01

Hi Luis,
Check the <connection address> in -Xrunjdwp option and there is no need to specify again
"suspend=y" as it is default. If "suspend=n" then you can specify in -Xrunjdwp.

Installing the Android Eclipse plugin: AUR vs Eclipse built-in install

The wiki suggests that you install the Android Developer Tools Eclipse plugin from the AUR. I had this running earlier in the year but, due to being away, mothballed my system for several months (I do this too often!) and found that after the update-orgy that followed, the Android plugins weren't showing up in any sense in my Eclipse interface. Since I wasn't mid-project, I decided it was easier just to entirely remove Eclipse and install it all from scratch. Then I noticed that Eclipse has a built in mechanism for installing plugins. My setup now works as before.
Of course "I did something wrong so it didn't work" is not the same as "it's a bad method", but what is the advantage of installing from the AUR as opposed to straight from Google? Should I add a comment to the wiki on this?

There are a couple of things we've found that can interfere with using a CS5 Suite SN with FB4 Plug-in:
- if you have multiple copies of FB4 Plug-in installed on your machine, only the first one will be able to use a Suite SN
- with some configurations, you need to have the qualifying CS5 Suite (Web Premium or Master Collection) installed on the same machine where you're running FB4 Plug-in.
To remedy the first problem, here's an approach we've found to work:
- uninstall all copies of FB4 Plug-in
- run the CS5 Clean Script, and if it finds additional copies of FB4 Plug-in, allow it to remove them. You can find the CS5 Clean Script here: http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cs5clean.html
- reboot before re-installing FB4 Plug-in.
After re-installing FB4 Plug-in, if you want to plug into multiple copies of eclipse on your system, you don't need to install it multiple times. Instead, just copy the link file from the dropins folder in the copy of eclipse (eclipse-host-distro) bundled with FB4 Plug-in, and paste that link file into the dropins folder of your own copy of eclipse. You can repeat this multiple times if you have more than one custom copy of eclipse to plug into.

JSP debugging plugin for eclipse 3.2

Hi,
I was looking for a plugin for eclipse 3.2 which can be used for JSP debugging purpose(not myeclipse).
If any thing of such sort exists?

Should be something like
- extract the plugin into the plugins directory
- restart eclipse
- create a clean project (to prevent artefacts)
- rightclick the project, select from the menu team->share project
- choose the VSS option and point it to your VSS server
- team->update
- team -> check out on the file you need to change
- team -> check in after modification

Annoying! SP Browser Plugin for Mac Chrome

Hello Experts
Has anybody successfully managed to remove the exasperating notice that appears at the top of OSX Chrome everytime you load a page in SP?
It says "Could not load Sharepoint Browser plugin"
It's not fixed by disabling the presence feature like many claim - I'm thinking this is a master page fix, bit not sure where to start.
Any guidance would be brilliant.

Hi,
you can remove this message if you add script to the master page that overwrites the following javascript functions.
function ProcessImn() {}
function ProcessImnMarkers() {}
The origin is that SharepPoint tries to load the presence information that are not available in Chrome.
The other workaround is that you use SharePoint with Safari instead of Chrome. If you have Offfice 2011 for Mac installed. Then you have the extension for SharePoint installed. This only asked you once if you like to trust the plugin and you won't get the
message again.

Adobe Reader XI Plugin Missing from Chrome

I have recently noticed that the plugin for Adobe Reader XI has gone missing from my version of Chrome. I have tried uninstalling Adobe Reader and downloading the most recent version, but each time I do this and then check my Chrome plugins, the plugin is not listed. This is keeping me from using Chrome as my browser when I wish to view PDF documents. Does anyone have any information on this?

Thank you for your help, but it does not resolve my issue. I do not have Adobe Reader listed as a plugin in Chrome. I need to have it listed in order to use a program called SIRAS for my work. How do I get the plugin into this list?

Debugging in Xcode App. not built in Xcode in Intel Machine doesn't work

I am using Xcode version 2.4.1 in a MacBook Pro with MAC OS X 10.4.11.
I build my app using ant. The output is an application bundle.
I try debugging my app using Xcode, because of a nicer interface.
To do this, I create an empty project, add a custom executable, and make it point to the java stub inside the bundle.
I add source files to xcode, and set some breakpoints.
When I click on debug executable, the xcode debugger will stop in the breakpoint but not show any information in the debugger (this is the problem), only the pause button and stop button are clickable. It doesn't even show the source file. I see that the debugger stopped in the breakpoint, because it says it at the bottom of the window.
When I try the same situation with my Power PC (same OS and same xcode version), the xcode debugger is able to give all the information in the debugger for callbacks and variables and open the necessary source files. It works in PPC.
In both cases, I have unchecked the unload symbols lazily checkbox in the xcode preferences, other wise it wouldn't work in PPC either.
I have not modified any other preferences in xcode.
Things you should know to help me out, I am building the app the same way for both PPC and Intel using a script that calls jam to create a dynamic lib (from C code) and then ant for java code. The app loads the dynamic lib. I use the same compiler flags for the C code in my jamfile. I build C code with the debug (-g) flag.
Any help or questions are welcomed

C# SCOM SDK agent install works fine from debug mode but disconnects when built from installer

My team is writing a C# application that installs SCOM agents on the fly. I used the code in :

as a template. Which works fine and will consistently install agents when I run it in debug from Visual Studio. But when I build an installer (using InstallShield), calls to:
"AgentTaskResult results = adminServer.InstallAgents(agents, configuration);"
always result in a Microsoft.EnterpriseManagement.Common.ServerDisconnectedException. The agent install even shows up in pending management on the SCOM server (but this sits in pending management forever and is never processed). Calling managementGroup.Reconnect();
and retrying the agent install still results in a ServerDisconnectedException. The application has no problem doing other things with the managementGroup object (from debug or running from an installer). It can create MonitorConfigurationOverrides and
gets events out of an outbound connector. So it seems like the disconnect problem is localized just to agent install requests.
I looked in the Windows Event Log and found an OpsMgr SDK Service Error:
