Decode 2D barcode using Java 6

Hi,
I need help with barcode decompression. Im using "Paper Forms Barcode" (QR Code type) and using option "Compress data before encoding". I need decompress data by Java program so im using default Java Inflater class. I have read many tutorials and examples about inflating by Java and my program is almost the same. So im above there is no problem in Java program.
My problem: when i read and decompress data, they are corupted around the middle of XML document. It means when document start, everything is ok, but around 200-300 chars after, document is corupted - some chars are.
May be I will have to use alternative Inflater implementation or some other way. I think problem is with default Java algorithm which is not almost the same as Adobe PDF algorithm.
Do you know some working examples? Thanks a lot.

Finally I solved the problem!!!
It was about barcode reader device. I have used Xenon 1900. When i switch to another device as Datalogic Gryphon 432, everything is OK.

  • How can I decode Japanese character using java from JavaScript escape() function

    Hi:
I have an application which supports Japanese character. I am using JavaScript escape() function to encode the text field before I posted it through web server and then I will just convert it into hex number to decode it through an Integer. It works fine for the character between ascii 1-255. However, it faild on all the double bytes character. All the unicode has the format of "%uXXXX" after it is escaped from JavaScript. How can I resolve the decoding problem?
    Thank,
    David

Please use 'encodeURI()', though it is supported only IE after 5.5.
    I'm not sure Netscape.
    Thanks,

  • How can i generate BARCODE Images using JAVA Code

    Hello ,
My requirement is to generate BarCode Images to Print using JAVA Code.
    User will give only
    1) String.as Input Parameter and
    2) Type of Encoding you want to apply on to the String.
outPut : code should generate Bar Code Images as per the requirements.
can any one help me out with jars ????? or any link which can provide me start.

    1) I have requriement like generate doc file with
more than one barcode image on that document.???
    So?
If your chosen "doc file" format supports inclusion of multiple images there's no problem.
If it doesn't, choose another format.
    2) I am able to generate .doc file but in which
format i should open that doc file.????
The same format you used to create it.
    3) Main thing is how can i put more than one barcode
    image on that doc file????
That would depend on the file format and the API used to create it.
is any one faced the same problem or gone through
    same requirement.
Almost certainly. And they solved it too, given the document I'm looking at right now which is an e-ticket for an airline that has many barcodes and other generated images on it.
So keep on trying, grasshopper, and you may find enlightenment.

Is it possible to read Barcode using Blackbbery application? If yes please let me know what thing we'll be require to develop the same. It is very urgent please help me.
    Regards,

Yes, it is. There are already a number of barcode reader applications for BlackBerry, such as one named  "Edocrab".  Google it.
You'll need some experience in Java development. Please see the Developer section of this forum.

    thanx in advance...

    Hi,
Possibly the data you receiving is not UTF-8... Have you check with the data provider?
Try with other encoding... like ISO-8859-1 for example...
    oracle.soa.common.util.Base64Decoder.decode(zipname.getBytes("ISO-8859-1"));
    Cheers,

  • Scan barcodes using C# in Windows store 8 app

I am working on a Windows Store 8 App (targets windows 8 and not windows 8.1) and need to integrate barcode reading functionality on the app. I am using C#/XAML in this app.
I am looked on internet and came across this link that shows some code for this functionality. But it seems to target only windows 8.1. I have also checked this library from codeplex and find that this refers to only a subset of barcode types.
I want to know is there any API with the help of which I can read barcodes in Windows 8 Store app.
I will be capturing images from the tab's camera and reading the images to decode the barcodes and use it further in the app.

The LeadTools SDK contains Win8 libraries for different 1-D and 2-D barcode types and it includes assemblies for both 8.0 and 8.1

  • Image resize : loss of quality by using Java API. What's wrong ?

We actually have a problem with the resizing of pictures.
    We use jdk 1.4.2.
We are trying to transform some picture from approx. 2000*1600 to 500*400.

Can we have a better result by using jdk 1.5.0 ?
    Thanks for your help.

    Nothing wrong - it's a feature :).
"Loss of colours" is connected with Java embedded JPEG decoder. If you transcode to for example PNG format using any image processing program and then resize using Java then colors will be OK.
"Blur..." is connected with bad implementation of interpolation algorithms in JDK/JRE and can't be fixed :)
I'm close to finish developing own resizing library which produced the next results from your image (it's a very good image to test). "from_png" means that the source image is PNG.
<b>Box interpolation</b> (also known as nearest neighbour, but it's the honest implementation, not JDK fake):

  • Using Java, How can I Update, Add, Delete nodes in XML Files.

    Hi,
I want to store the student record (like Name, Age, school name, total mark etc.,) as nodes in the XMLfile. Also I should able to Update, Add, Delete any nodes (student record) in the XML file. How can I achieve this...using Java
I am able to read the content of the xml file using xml-parser. But my problem is
    updating the xml file.
pls suggest some solutions or links with " example source code"
    Thanks :-)

There are 2 kinds of XML parsers : SAX and DOM. DOM seems to suit your need. You can use JAXP APIs to add, delete or change nodes or attributes.
http://java.sun.com/webservices/jaxp/dist/1.1/docs/tutorial/TOC.html provides contents that would satisfy most of the needs.
To save a DOM modified XML file use java IO APIs to write to the same file from which it was read using a Document object ( doc.getNodeValue() ).

  • ORA-04030: out of process memory when using Java Stored Procedures

    Hello,
I have a problem using Java Stored Procedures in Oracle 10g.
My Java application performs http posts to a webservice and the response is parsed in order to populate some DB tables.
There is a scheduled job which calls the Java Stored Procedure every x minutes.
No matter of the 'x minutes' values - after about 160 - 200 calls I get this error:

ORA-04030: out of process memory when trying to allocate 2097196 bytes (joxp heap,f:OldSpace)

Can be a problem with JVM threading under Oracle ?

The server prcess failed to allocate more memory for large objects ( in Oldspace).
If you Google ORA-04030, you will see several recommendations to work around this.
The Java VM in the database already has HttpClient, i don't know why you are loading the Apache HttpClient but this might not be the surce of the problem.

    Hi Kranthi,
You have option to read a cell content as html. else you will have to go for SDK. I think you will get better suggestions, if you can explain your requirement in a little detailed manner.
refer below links for more details about SDK.
