Deep Linking across a Local Connection - how?!

Hello,
Using AS3, I have a Flash built navbar, controlling a Flex built application across a local connection. This works fine.
I want to setup deep linking, but the buttons named in the Flash navbar are not mentioned in theFlex application, so how can I reference them?!
I am new to deep linking, so there may be an easy answer, but every tutorial I look at seems to want to reference a control by its id, which a Local Connection control doesn't have.
I hope someone can help, perhaps with an example.

Some users manage to use BRidge over a network, but it takes work and Bridge is not meant for work over a network or a digital assesst manager.
Keywords are added to the image itself, but the keyword file is added to the users cache location. For others to see the entry all users must access the same cache. At least this is the way I understand it.

What would be a good concept in order to arrange a strong nested files-navigation-structure? …when it has to englobe up to 6 or 7 sub-directories.

In fact, I’m looking for a solution for the navigation, how I could nest as many links as possible, for them to consume as less space as possible, on screen. That probably means hidding and revealing parts of the navigation at a certain time. Unfortunately, nesting accordeons doesn’t really work without a few bugs. So I’m looking for an alternative – more in terms of Frontend-Design or at least Frontend-Arrangement of space for the navigation, assuming lots of links have to be inserted into a pretty deep hierarchy in the user interface.
The threads seem more to discuss how to arrange the file-hierarchy on the server, as far as I understood.

How to deep link to several pages of an external application ?

I created an external application named MyApp with UserName and Password fields using the External Application component.
and an additional field as Parameter1 with value SearchPage
I am able create a url referencing the applicatoin such as
/adfextapplogin?extappid=MyApp
I can connect to the application directly, once I provide the username and password.
I need to create deep linking to few more pages in the same application.
I modified the external application definition, by removing the Parameter field.
Created a URL such as
/adfextapplogin?extappid=MyApp&Parameter1=SearchPage
I was expecting that the URL would behave the same way as I created in my first step, But the application did not go to the search page
instead it went to the landing page only.
Is there a way to define one external application definition, and use that definition to create multiple urls pointing to different destination pages ?

How can I properly embed deep links that contain http: twice

Hi,
We have an online bookstore where we need to embed deep links to a booktopia page. I have tested the links given to us by the affiliate program (DGM performace) and they work perfectly but when I embed them into muse and hit publish they give me a server not found page.

You can't have two http in a URL. Why do you have two? Try taking one out.

Looks like the JNDI that you created for the ConnectionFactory is not reflected in the server.
Login to WLS Console> Summary of Servers > server_name > View JNDI Tree
Browse to the JNDI tree and see if your JNDI is visible there. If it is not then, please restart the server and recheck.
Once you are able to find it in the JNDI tree, then execute the customization file.
If you have modified the existing JNDI properties (that have a small exclamatory symbol) then any changes to those are not reflected till all the servers in the cluster are restarted.
If it still does not work, then recreate a new Connection with a different name and then retry. It should work then.

How do I call a function using local connection?

I have 3 Flash banners on 1 page that run through a synched animation together. At the end of the animation, there is a replay button in each of the 3 banners. I want the replay button when clicked in any of the banners to call a replay function in all 3 banners. Is there any easy way to do this? Using localconnection?
The banners are already using a local connection for the syching of the animation, if that helps.

Error in local connection

I am setting up a local connection between 2 swf files
embedded on a single jsp. if i run the application in a single
window it works fine. but i open 2 concurrent windows, it throws me
an error stating - Can't connect...the connection name is already
being used by another SWF .. can anybody tell how can i fix this

In Flex multiple connection are not allowed, that is at a
time only one connection is active. If you try to connect the same
connection name it will defiantly through an error.

Depending on the size of the app or the connection speed when using Wi-Fi it could take a little longer to download. You can also try to download it onto your computer, might be faster, and sync it to the phone after that.

It's either in local folders, as it seem you had been doing, or in icloud. If you go into the mac's Pages and view the icloud files, you can drag on onto another to create a folder. But you can only have folder one level deep, so you can't organize your files/folders like you can on a mac, using nested folder several levels deep.

EPM Error while creating a local connection

I am a Dashboards designer and am new to BPC 10 MS. I am working on a dashboard that connects to BPC 10 MS to retrieve data via the EPM Connector. For this a 'Local' connection type must be used when creating the report in the Excel sheet using the EPM Add-In. I tried to create one but am facing a curious error which does not seem to be a known issue. I have installed the ODBO Client and therefore can create a local connection of type 'SAP BusinessObjects Planning and Consolidation'. Once I select this provider I entered my application server name and chose Windows Authentication for BPC MS as I have the service account credentials. I encountered an EPM - General error with the following text: Error while communicating with the server. Details: Framework message: Authorization failed. This error shows even if I'm using Excel and not Dashboards. If I use a different connector, I am able to access all the BPC data just fine. However, with local type (which is needed for the dashboard connector) it just doesn't work. I tried reinstalling the EPM Add-In as well as the EPM Connector without any change to the error.
I am using Win7 32-bit, Excel 2010 32-bit, ODBO Client SP12, EPM Excel Client SP16 Patch 1, BPC 10 MS server SP08, Dashboards 4.1 SP1.
Has anyone come across this before? Any help would be great as I'm very much stuck at this point.

Additional things to try.
Try this first. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.

Another thing to try - Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.

Change local connection string on remote server

Hello,
I have searched every post and tried every connection string there but can't figure out how to connect to my database on my remote server. I am using Visual Developer 2005 Express Edition in C# and uploading it to a Windows server running asp.net 2.0. The domain has not resolved yet.
I am so new to this and have followed many tutorials step by step but none of them address this issue. They just show how to upload it to the server.
Do I need to use the SQL server provided by my host or can the database stay in the App_Data folder?
My local connection string works locally:

I wonder if the Cairngorm 3 Navigation Library will integrate deep linking in future? Furthermore, it would be great to know how deep linking could be used in coexistence with the Cairngorm 3 Navigation Library!
