Default billing block on outbound delivery?

Hello everyone. Any tips on how I can automatically set a billing block on the outbound delivery, created from a sales order?
Additionally, we do not want to set the billing block on the sales order, because we'd like to control this block at the shipment level.
I could not find a billing block field in the LE > Define Delivery Type config and could only come up with copy control from SO to Delivery.
Any information you have would be helpful. Thanks.

I guess there's no such setting (=you cannot default it only for deliveries; there's no delivery related control table into which data element FAKSP builds into).
So, whether you modify your copy control routine (as it was mentioned by you) or you solve it via use user exit (e.g. MV50AFZ1 - USEREXIT_MOVE_FIELD_TO_LIPS; see note 415716) or BADI (LE_SHP_DELIVERY_PROC).

  • Is it possible to set billing block when create delivery?

    Hi,
Is it possible to set billing block flag when create delivery automatically,I know it is possible to do it in SO, I also want to know is there any T-code can release billing block in so and delivery by batch?
    Thanks in advance.
    Lance

You can set Billing Block at Order level only. However iof you want to apply Billing Block, while doing Delivery, you require to go back to Sales Order & set the Billing Block. Incase you want Billing Block for all Deliveries, then Identify a user exit & activate it such that the coding of it will go to Sales order in Change Mode & set a Billing Block.

  • How to set block to Outbound delivery?

    Hello Dear Experts,
We are creating sales order and creating outbound delivery
for that order. This delivery will be distributed (via automatically generated iDoc type DELVRY03) to NONSAP(warehouse management).
The problem is that the "Distribution status" in Outbound Delivery (LIKP-VLSTK) doesn't set automatically to the "Distributed" after IDoc generation (we need this flag to prevent the "Post Goods issue" before receiving the confirmation from foreign system).
    Questions:
    1. Are there any ways to set this status manually via BAPi functions?
    2. How can I block delivery not changing this status?
    3. Is it possible to change this status manually in dB?
    Regards,
    Alexander.

  • Proforma Invoice program ---delivery related with billing block on SO

    Hi,
I need some help on Profoma Invoice--delivery related.
I have created a Sales order with Billing block, then created delivery and picking, handling but no PGI.
Now I am trying to create a Proforma invoice for delivery (before PGI ),
I can  create the Proforma invoice manually using VF01 by selecting the document type and by delivery number input in the docs selected.
But I want to create the proforma for the above mentioned scenario using batch job, I have tried both RV60SBAT and SDBILLDL but both of them are not working.
Both the program are fetching delivery for proforma creation if PGI is done (Even though the billing block is set on Sales order)
or Billing block is not there on Sales order if PGI is not done.
    Thanks and Regards,
    Ananda

    Hi,
The programs below are for the specified transactions below.
"SDBILLDL" program is for  the transaction "VF04" which is for creating the Final invoice(Original Invoice) i.e. Billing due list.
Where as "RV60SBAT" is for the T.Code "VF06" which is for creating the invoice in background.
So these two programs will not create proforma invoices.
Incase if you have only proforma invoice not final invoice, then maintain this proforma invoice type in "VOV8" T.Code under order/delivery-related billing.thwn you can create Proforma invoice by using Vf04/VF06(By using these programs).
    Regards,
    Krishna.

  • Default billing type for delivery type

    Dear friends,
I am doing STO scenario. After creation of purchase order and delivery I am creating proforma Invoice with reference to delivery document. By default it is taking F2 billing document type, but I want my own created proforma invoice ZF2 as default billing type for this delivery type. Is it possible? If so how?
    Regards
    Rama

    Dear Rama Rao
Go to VTFL, select your delivery type and assign ZF2 billing type so that whenever you create billing for delivery, by default system will take zf2.
    thanks

  • How to set a default Billing type for a particular Delivery type

    Dear All,
How to set a default billing type for a particular delivery type.
My requirement is, we are creating delivery for a Stock Transport Order. Delivery type is NL and the Purchase order type is UB.
When we are creating Billing, it should take Billing type "ZSTO" by default, which is the customised Billing type.
Where we have to do this setting?
In case of normal sales order, this control will be available in the Sales order document types.
In case STO, how to set a default billing type for a delivery type (NL).
    Regards,
    Rajesh

There is a customization available here no default or hard coded
Normally in a sales doc type we mention which billing type system has to pick
If the billing happens from a PO which billing type system will take depends on the controls set in the areas mentioned below
Go to your delivery type OVLK (say your delivery type is NL)
In that there is a field called default order qty in the order reference tab (say if you maintained DL there)
This DL is called PSEUDO order type
Then in VOV8 for DL based on the billing types mentioned ,system will take the billing doc
For delivery related billing say if you mention say ZF8 in the details of DL in VOV8(provided you have created ZF8)
Then while you bill the delivery doc of NL system will take ZF8
For intercompany delivery you can create ZIV billing type also Pure customization
PO is linked to delivery type ( MM spro settings)--Del type linked to order (pseudo) type---in order type (pseudo) we mention the billing types. Here the flow is bit different that pure SD flow
Though the invoice is crated by manually putting customized Biiling Type and A/Cing doc also generated, but in the VF04 still system shows the same deliveries pending with Billing Type (F2).
This manual is not reqd if the said assignments are done properly
    Hope it can assist you.
    Thanks & Regards

  • Billing block on Delivery document - LIPS

    Hi there
I have a problem with some items on LIPS which I want to block from billing (FAKSP).
Therefore I need a FM/ BAPI to update the items on LIPS.
I have tried to search both SDN and SAPfans - and I can se some references to:
    BAPI_INB_DELIVERY_CONFIRM_DEC
    BAPI_INB_DELIVERY_SAVEREPLICA
    BAPI_OUTB_DELIVERY_CONFIRM_DEC
    BAPI_OUTB_DELIVERY_SAVEREPLICA
    BAPI_OUTB_DELIVERY_SPLIT_DEC
Perhaps I should say that we are currently on 4.6C, so I am missing some of the other BAPIs mentioned in other postings regarding this issue.
    best regards
    Peter Christiansen

If I understood you correctly, you want to set the billing block on some problematic delivery items. How many deliveries are we talking about here? If they are few, then why don't you just do it from VL02N?
If your question is about setting the billing block as the delivery is getting created, then you can do that using the "requirements" technique or some user exit.
    Please clarify.

  • ORDERS05 Billing Block (FAKSK) not LIFSK

    Hey All,
I'm having some issues creating a billing block on my inbound ORDERS05 document. While the E1EDK01 segment does have a nice LIFSK available for a delivery block it does not have a FAKSK.  So, I thought, no problem, I'll just use exit VEDA0001 (EXIT_SAPLVEDA_001) and change DXVBAK-FAKSK directly to have a block on it. Problem...it doesn't work, kind of a surprise because it is not a rocket science change here. Now I can't use any MV45AFZB or ZZ exits to put the billing block on because, heck, why not just configure the doc type to have a billing block on it then...kind of defeats the purpose. So...summary...I want to have an IDoc come in via EDI with a populated E1EDK01-LIFSK and this will apply a billing block AND the delivery block (of course the delivery block is working as SAP intended).  What am I missing?
    Thanks,
    Greg

    Thanks MxG...
<Sorry for the delay, just getting around to updating this post now>
I tried this flag before but revisited it after your post.  I couldn't get it to put on the block no matter what I tried.  I got frustrated, turned to MV45AFZZ and just put some code in there to do it for me quick and dirty. Kind of a cheap way out, but hell, how much time does one waste on this?
    Thanks,
    Greg

  • Delivery & Billing block at item level when I create order with config mat

    HI All,
I am getting delivery & Billing block at item level when I create an order with config material.
And I am unable to remove the blocks manually since they appear in display mode even in change mode of sales order.
but I could see a biiling document for this order in document flow with 0 value.
    Note:
    1. The item does not have any reason for rejection
    2. Ther is no block set at schedule line category too.
Please give me your valid suggestion as soon as possible since it is production issue.
    Thanks & Regards

    Dear chandrashekar,
Goto  VOV8 , select your order type - Billing - Billing block - keep this field as blank .
Second one , take the default billing type in order type (VOV8) , and Goto OVV4 and click on selection criteria and select billing type , enter your billing type and choose , you will now get the listing of that biling type and check your settings are correct.

  • How send an  outbound delivery and billing document by FAX

How send an  outbound delivery and billing document by FAX

    Hi,
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/2b/d925bf4b8a11d1894c0000e8323c4f/frameset.htm
You have to create an RFC user for the RFC interface, so that you can receive messages in your SAP system. For each external communications system, create an RFC destination and a Node.
You can add more systems, that is, create new nodes, even during operation. Since new Customizing settings may be necessary, you can branch directly from SAPconnect administration to Customizing (for example, to maintain the rules for recipient number adjustment).
Outgoing messages are first stored in a queue. You have to schedule send processes so that the messages are sent from the queue to the external communications system. You can distribute incoming messages with inbound distribution using the recipient addresses.
You can also change the default settings for confirmations of receipt in the Internet. You can specify a default domain to enable messages to be sent externally to users or objects to which no Internet address is assigned.
The tools for monitoring and error analysis are available for monitoring sending. You can check the operating status of the external communication components in the SAP System and evaluate the send status of the documents. If errors occur, you can configure a trace that logs the processing of messages.
An overview of the settings that you have to make in the SAP System in order to enable sending can be found in the documentation on External Sending in the SAP System.
    Hope this will help.
    Regards,
    Naveen.

  • Billing Block in Customer Master does not default into Sales Order (VA01)

I put a billing block into the customer master but it is not defaulting the billing block when I create a new sales order for that customer.  Do you have any tips please for what could be wrong?

    Hi,
The billing block you set in customer master or by XD05 is not meant for to flow in sales order(flow to va01).
That is meant for block customer for sales/delivery/billing
If you want this block default in va01 then you can set it for document type by VOV8

    Dear Kanna,
Go to XD02 at the toppage you will find Extras
In that Extra Topage  you will find a field   Blocking Data.
Check whether Order block and Delivery Block has been ticked.
If ticked is there remove the tick and try Delivery and Billing.
If you have any concerns revert back the same to me
    With Regards,
