Moderator: Please, avoid asking basic questions

Hi Expert,
Check by configuring the below steps in T-Code: OBYC,
Select the Transaction - GBB and Enter Chart of Accounts and provide the GL Account(Post Automatically in GL Account Creation in T-Code: FS00)(which is assigned to default cost center) with respect to Valuation Class - Service and General Modifier - VBR: for internal goods issues (for example, for cost center)
Do the Purchase Requisition - ME51N and Provide the Account Assignment Category - K - Cost Center and Item Category - (Blank or D - Service) and Check whether it is picking the cost center automatically.
Check with the T-Code: OKB9, for Default Cost Center account assignment Settings

  • Default layout for T code FAGLL03

    Hi,
    I have created a layout for T code FAGLL03. I want to make this layout as default layout only for me i.e user specific so that whenever I execute this T code, I get the report in that layout.
    Is it possible to create user specific layout which wil be defaulted when that T code is executed.
    Regards..

    Hi:
           Yes you can easily make default user layout that will be set as default for your own log in only. Please execute FAGLL03 ...once report is executed, set you layout as per your desire and in order to make it user default please go to Menu...Settings...save....there you will have to specif name starting with / and on the same screen you will find the user default check box . Just check and save it. Now exit from report now every time you will execute the report you will get the customized layout you saved.

    Just in case anyone would need to know. You can change the default values for transactions by using SE93.

  • Need to use default package for JNI code?

    Hi,
    I don't have much experience with JNI code, so excuse me if I make a silly mistake.
    I have a set of DLLs to interface with Microsoft native speech code ("Microsoft Sam") -- a GPL library called Quadmore. Quadmore has some sample Java code to work with the libraries, all of which they put in the default package (no package). If I move their code to a named package, it breaks. The Java code is able to load th libraries, but can't find any of the methods.
    Looking at the source for their DLLs (though I don't speak C++), the method names are things like
    JNIEXPORT jboolean JNICALL Java_QuadmoreTTS_SpeakDarling(JNIEnv *env,jobject obj,jstring strInput)As far as I understand, this implies that the QuadmoreTTS.class that calls the code must be in the default package, as otherwise the method name needs to be prepended with a package name.
    If that's so, then there's no way I can use the code as-is, right? Naturally, the rest of my program is in named packages, and I can't import any class that is in the default package, right? I've tried placing all their code in a jar and adding the jar to my classpath, but I still can't import any of their classes as they are in the default package.
    Is the only solution to re-compile all their C/C++ code to let it use packages? Am I being dumb and missing something? I'm pretty sure other people have used Quadmore before, so I can't believe that they've never had this problem before.
    Any suggestions greatly appreciated!
    Sam

    C/C++ functions in JNI must conform to the prototypes produced by running the javah compiler against the class file with native methods in it. So if you move the class to another package, the prototypes change. If you doun't change the compiled C coudes to suit, you will get undefined method errors when you load the dll as the JVM won't be able to match the native methods to the methods in the dll (it will call WinLoadLibrary() and WinLoadProcAddress() or somesuch under Windows).

  • Entry missing in T169V table for Co. code

    Hi Friends,
    We made one new company code & did all the settings. When we are doing MIRO we got one error saying that Co. code is not exist in T169V table.
    Table T169V is for Default Values, Invoice Verification.
    We might have missed some customization, can any body tell where to do.
    I can do it directly from tables also, but not advisable.
    Regards
    Sai Krishna

    hi
    goto
    SM30 here u can get the customizations related to a perticular table
    goto SM30 give table no and click on customizing then click on continue without project
    here system wilkl give u all the customizations for this table
    now if we take ur e.g. of T169v then u have to check for the entry of MM  as the problem is occuring in MIRO
    u have to go to SPRO>mm>LIV>Incoming Invoice>Maintain Default Values for Tax Codes
    hope it clears

  • Tax codes - can you set up default value for rows and freight? HELP!

    Hello - I have two issues with tax codes:
    1. When adding  a sales order if any of the rows do not have a value for "Tax Code"  I will get an error "Row without tax was found".
    - How can I get all rows on my sales orders, documents, etc to default to a specific tax code? Or will users ALWAYS have to enter the tax code?
    2. When addring a sales order with Freight, if the order is added without adding a tax code to the freight I will get an error "Expense with tax was found"
    - How can I get the tax code have a default value? We always use the same tax code, so it is redundant to have to enter this information.
    Any suggestions?

    Hi Jhon,
    this is the simplest and best way to make a Tax Code default is Go to
    Answer for Question 1
    Administration -> Setup -> Financial ->  Tax -> Tax Code Determination (Click on this)
    in that screen you can set a default tax code for both sales as well as Purchase.
    If you want to set Tax Code based on Vendors or Customers or Items separately then you can use the Key Fields.
    Answer for Question 2
    Once you enter the Tax Code in the freight i think it takes the Tax Code itself, I'm not so sure about this one though.
    Hope this helps you out

    Shreyas

  • Default Value for Order Type based on Company Code  in ME21N

    Hi,
         Using ME21N, I want to make the PO type defaulted to a certain company code, say for instance Company code  XYZ should have a PO type XYZ Purchase Order, ..company ABC should have a PO type ABC Purchase Order, and so on...I'm just puzzled how to implement it. I know that we can set a Default value for PO Headers in Personal Settings but its doesnt give the result I want coz it will only have one Default Value. What I wanted is when a certain company code is chosen, automatically, the corresponding PO type for that Company code will be displayed in the Order Type drop-down menu (so there's no need to choose on the drop down list what Order type) Is this possible in ABAP? Hope i made myself clear.
        Thanks in Advance.

    Use BADI IF IF_EX_ME_PROCESS_PO_CUST - method OPEN
    View the interface documentation in transaction SE19 and you will see the method OPEN can be used :
    2. Opening of a purchase order (OPEN method)
    The system opens a new document to create, change or display a purchase order. With the OPEN method,
    <b>you can import your own data and prepare it for further processing.</b>
    This is available in 4.7 Enterprise but not sure how far back.....
    hope this helps
    Colin.

  • Default Layout for Z.transaction codes

    hi,
    we copied the FAGLL03 progamre and we made ZFAGLL03 becz there is a some reqirement from client.
    we want set the defalut layout for this T.Code ZFAGLL03,
    For this we save the layout and assign in FB00, then also when we excute the programe , it is not comeing the defalut layout .
    what is process to set the defalut layout for Z T.Codes.
    Regards,
    Balu.K

    Hi,
    The default layout for the report cannot be done through FB00. You need to take help of an abaper. Similar to FAGLL03, you should have an icon to change and save layout for the report. If the icon is not present, an ABAPer can include it. Once the icon is available, you can change the layout and set it as default or user specific.
    Hope this helps.
    Thanksa and Regards,

  • How do you invoke the default browser for Unix/OSX

    Does anyone know how to programmatically display the contents of a URL in the default browser for a Unix system? I found a javaworld article on doing this using Runtime.getRuntime().exec(cmd). The article gives the cmd string for invoking the default browser in Windows, and for invoking the Netscape browser in Unix.
    This can easily be extended to invoke any known browser executable in a known path on a Unix system; but I'd like to invoke the default browser without knowing what or where it is. I'm specifically targetting Mac/OSX, but any Unix solution is worth trying.
    Is there a Unix command for launching the default browser to display the contents of a given URL? Or is there an alternative approach, rather than invoking Runtime.exec()?
    -Mark

    After extensive google searching, I came across a partial solution. This code detects the default browser on a Mac, and provides an elegant solution for trying standard browsers in turn for other Unix systems. I tested it on WIndows XP and Mac OSX 3.9, and it detected the default browser each time. A suped up version of this tool is available as a SourceForge project. You can find it here:
    http://sourceforge.net/projects/browserlaunch2/
    Here's the simplified code:
    //  Bare Bones Browser Launch                          //
    //  Version 1.5                                        //
    //  December 10, 2005                                  //

    //  Example Usage:                                     //
    //     String url = "http://www.centerkey.com/";       //
    //     BareBonesBrowserLaunch.openURL(url);            //
    //  Public Domain Software -- Free to Use as You Like  //
    import java.lang.reflect.Method;

                Method openURL = fileMgr.getDeclaredMethod("openURL",
                   new Class[] {String.class});
                openURL.invoke(null, new Object[] {url});
             else if (osName.startsWith("Windows"))
                Runtime.getRuntime().exec("rundll32 url.dll,FileProtocolHandler " + url);
             else { //assume Unix or Linux
                String[] browsers = {
                   "firefox", "opera", "konqueror", "epiphany", "mozilla", "netscape" };
                String browser = null;
                for (int count = 0; count < browsers.length && browser == null; count++)
                   if (Runtime.getRuntime().exec(
                         new String[] {"which", browsers[count]}).waitFor() == 0)
                      browser = browsers[count];
                if (browser == null)

  • Any suggestions for my code.

    Hi,
    I wrote this little piece of code to reduce some of the work I need to do when doing database access. I intend to use if with mySQL and mostly web based applications. It'll probably use it quite a bit, and since it's my first try at writing something like this I figured I'd post the code to see if anyone can find any problems. I've already tested it and it works, so I'm mostly interested in any feedback about performance issues.
    I'd really like to know if there's any way I can get the number of rows in a result set before I start going through it. That way I could return the data in an Object[][] array (I'd assume it'd be a little faster to add values to than the ArrayList).
    Here's the code...

    I think I have an idea of what you mean. I just want to make sure before I write everything though. I could implement your idea by doing the following right?
    I haven't tried any of this, so if there's minor (syntax) errors just ignore them. I'll fix them later.
    1. Create the following Interface.
    package com.vacode.beans.sql;
    public interface GruntBeanProccessingModule
        public Object get(Object[] properties);
    }2. Force the subclasses to implement the above interface
    public class EmployeeProcessor implements GruntBeanProcessingModule
        public Object get(Object[] properties)
         //make sure the input array is the right length (+ other validation, etc.)
         //create a new EmployeeBean
         //set all the EmployeeBean properties based on the input Object[]
         //return the EmployeeBean
    }3. Make the following additions to my SQLGruntBean class
    private requestedClassType = null;
    public void setRequestedClassType(Object o) // o must be an instance of the requested class
        this.requestedClassType = o;
    //if requestedClassType isn't null then create the ArrayList like this
    while(rs.next())
             Object[] currentRow = new Object[colCount];
             for(int i=0;i<colCount;i++)
              currentRow[i] = rs.getObject(i+1); //SQL starts at 1 not 0
             Class requestedClass = Class.forName(requestedClassType.getClass().getName());
             GruntBeanProcessingModule gbpm = requestedClass.newInstance();
             Object convertedData = gbpm.get(currentRow);
             data.add(convertedData);
         }Of course I'll have to handle any possible exceptions (requestedClassType isn't an instance of GruntBeanProcessingModule, etc.). I also notice the forum replaced some of my [] with <> (I've seen it before though, so you probably already know about it).
    Did I get it right or am I out to lunch :-)
    Thank you very much for the feedback,
    Ryan

  • How to set a default value for a page item

    I am working with a facility table that has name and address information. The user can add contact name information on a separate page. Since the address for the facility and contact is usually the same, I want to add a default value for the contact address. The facility page is on 201 and the link to add a new contact row is on page 202. I showed in the default value :P201_street for the contact's address. But, when I run the page, the contact address field shows the :P201_street, not the actual facility address. What am I leaving out? Must be something obvious?!
    Thanks very much.
    Judy

    In the default value, I showed: v('P201_STREET1') with the default value type of: PL/SQL Expression and received the following oracle error ==> Item default is not a PL/SQL expression. Use &ITEM syntax. The v('ITEM') syntax is not valid for item defaults. So I changed it to: &P201_STREET1 and got another oracle error , ERR-9132 error in PLSQL expression for item default code, item=P202_STREET1.
    Any more suggestions? Thx.

  • Is it possible to create a new tab in 'Default settings for items' option?

    Hi everybody
    I am Raghu working in EBP2.0 & I have come across a difficlty and that is of creating a new tab and also the fields 'GL a/c', 'cost centre' or 'internal order' in this new tab.
    First of all please let me know whether is it possible to create a new tab for these fields.
    The purpose of this new tab is to default the cost centre and GL account with reference to shopping cart.
    As per current scenario, user has to enter the cost centre & the GL code as many times as the number of items in a shopping cart. I mean, if you have 10 items in your shopping cart then 10 times user has to input the cost centre & GL account. To avoid this we are required to add new tab so that per shopping cart we can enter the GL account & cost centre only once.
    Your immediate response would be very much apprecited.
    Regards
    Raghu

    hi Ram & Sreenivas
    Thanks for your immediate response.
    Ram, we can default GL a/c & cost centre in org structure since client wants to us to keep the option of entering these for every shopping cart.
    Sreenivas, I checked the 'copy to clipboard' option & its not there in EBP2 and I feel what you meant as cost centre tab is account assignment tab.
    Let me explain you more clearly about this requirement.
    Current Scenario
    1.Say a user has added 5 items to his SC.
    2.User has to enter cost centre & GL code 5 times & then he can order
    Required scenrio
    1.Say a user has added 5 items to his SC.
    2.As per the proposed functionality, user will click on 'Default settings for items' button. Three tabs will appear-->Basic data, Internal note & Delivery Address.
    We have to provide a new tab here where in user will default his GL & cost centre for this shopping cart & then order. This will help user to avoid entering GL & cost centre 5 times.
    For some reasons our client is not interested in defaulting this data.
    Please help in this regard if time permits.
    Thanks
    Raghu

  • How to Set default value for taxonomywebtagging control with terms and nested terms

    Hi,
    I have created taxonomy control in custom aspx page and I am able to select terms but I am trying to setup default value to that control.
    Can anybody let me know how to set the default value for TaxonomyWebTagging control in custom.aspx page with nested terms?
    Any help would be greatly apprecited.
    Control code in aspx page:
    <td>
    <asp:Label runat="server" ID="lblLanguages">Field A: </asp:Label><asp:Label runat="server" ID="rfvlblLanguages" CssClass="errorMsg" ForeColor="Red">*</asp:Label>

    <Taxonomy:TaxonomyWebTaggingControl ID="term" Width="385px" runat="server" /></td>Mapping metedata code:TaxonomySession session = new TaxonomySession(SPContext.Current.Site);
    //Set the Business Unit Field
    SPSite site = SPContext.Current.Web.Site;
    TermStore termStore = session.TermStores["Managed Metadata Service"];
    Group group = termStore.Groups["GROUPName"];
    TermSet termSet = group.TermSets["TERMSETNAME"];
    Term term = termSet.Terms["TermA"];
    Guid termGuid = term.Id;
    term.SspId.Add(termStore.Id);
    term.TermSetId.Add(termSet.Id);
    term.AllowFillIn = true;
    term.AnchorId = countryGuid;
    term.IsMulti = true;
    Thank you.
    AA.

    Hi,
    According to your description, you want to set default value for TaxonomyWebTaggingControl.
    I have a test in my environment. It could be achieved by setting the Text Property of TaxonomyWebTaggingControl.
    Here is the code snippet:
    TaxonomySession session = new TaxonomySession(SPContext.Current.Site);
    SPSite site = SPContext.Current.Web.Site;
    TermStore termStore = session.TermStores["Managed Metadata Service"];
    Group group = termStore.Groups["GroupA"];
    TermSet termSet = group.TermSets["A"];
    Term term = termSet.Terms["A1"];
    TaxonomyWebTaggingControl1.SspId.Add(termStore.Id);
    TaxonomyWebTaggingControl1.SSPList = termStore.Id.ToString();
    TaxonomyWebTaggingControl1.TermSetId.Add(termSet.Id);
    TaxonomyWebTaggingControl1.TermSetList = termSet.Id.ToString();
    TaxonomyWebTaggingControl1.AllowFillIn = true;
    TaxonomyWebTaggingControl1.IsAddTerms = true;
    TaxonomyWebTaggingControl1.IsMulti = false;
    TaxonomyWebTaggingControl1.Text = string.Format("{0}|{1}", term.Name, term.Id.ToString());
    Here is a detailed article for your reference:
