Defaulting the colum from the previous page table column values.

Hi,
I have two seeded pages. In First page it contains one table and 4 columns namely SNo, Competency, Previous Rating, Main Appraiser Rating and in second page it contains one table and 3 columns namely SNo, Competency, New Appraisal Rating.
My Requirement is in First page Main Appraiser Rating column data(it contaions 13 rows), i have to show it in the second page column New Appraisal Rating by default. Please let me know how to achieve this.

Is the second page is also seeded??
Create a new region it would be table region with the column which you want to show.
What you have to do is that you have to execute the VO in the Process request of 2 nd page. You have to check the logic like on which condtion it is showing 13 rows and you have to write the same logic in new VO and execute the query depending upon like on employee id.

The way SharePoint open office documents will differ if the user try to open them from the document library directly, or if users try to open the document from the search result page.

I have a document library where I have uploaded an excel sheet to it. Now If I click on the excel sheet directly from the document library page , I will get the following error ““The webpage cannot be displayed””. While if I do a search and I open the excel
sheet from the search result page , it will open the excel sheet using the excel services inside the browser !!.
So can anyone advice on this ?
Also if I have a PowerPoint document , and I try to open it from the document library I will get the following error “The webpage cannot be displayed” , and the URL will be prefix with the following “ms-powerpoint:ofv|u|”. while if i do a search and i open
the PowerPoint from the search result page i will be prompted to either open or save the document ? So why SharePoint is reacting totally different when trying to open document library items from the document library Or from the search result page?

The behavior in the document library could be probably because of the Documents handling setting. Please try setting it to default behavior (Open in browser) as i hear from you that the default behavior is to open from browser.

Currently I have set the following;-
1. On the library advance setting :- I define “Open in the client application”
2. On the web application setting:- I define stricked for Browser File Handling
And I have noted if I delete the browser cache and I access the document , then I will be prompted with the download dialog. but if I re-click on the same document I will be redirected to the
The webpage cannot be displayed
And the ms-powerpoint:ofv|u| will be added to the beginning of the URL. So could this be a caching problem ?

I have an issue which is causing problems. I have a snap survey (html form with submit and cookie setting) which is embedded in a url iview.
Although the submit and the form work fine, the portal will not allow the cookie to be set it seems.
Is there a way to allow cookies to be set from an embedded page in a url iview??

Cookie Basics

Updating a table with the data from the select list

I have 2 select lists on a page...first select list displays vendor no and vendor name from the table vendor (vendor_no, vendor_name, address, city, state, zip, ph no)
second list displays contact no and contact name from the table contact (contact_no, contact_name, email_addrs)
i have a submit button...once it is clicked the vendor_no from the first list and the contact_no from the second list must be inserted into the third table vendor_contact (vendor_contact_no, contact_no, vendor_no) and also there must be a condition to check if the entry already exists or not...can any one tell me how this can be done...

Why not design your page just on your third table (vendor_contact), and those fields (which will already be defined as part of that table) can be defined there as your select lists. Then make sure you have a Primary Key (or Unique Key) defined on the table to prevent duplicates.
It makes for a much cleaner looking page, and far easier to implement as well.

Try to create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problems.

There may be extensions and plugins installed by default in a new profile, so check that in "Tools > Add-ons > Extensions & Plugins" in case there are still problems.

Every time I launch Firefox 4 it opens 3 or 4 blank windows, no longer opens the tabs from the previous session and does not show my bookmarks sidebar.

I have to manually close the extra windows and restore the tabs from the previous session, and reopen the sidebar. In disgust I uninstalled Firefox 4 and reinstalled 3.6. Everything works fine in 3.6. Looks to me like Firefox 4 has many major bugs and is not yet ready for prime time. I'll stay with 3.6 for now.

3rd party email addresses have to be deleted on every synmced mac product, although I have 1and1.co.uk and my imac updatetes the mails in that account from mac mail.
Yahoo etc is a 2 step deleting process but good to get your emails pushed when on the go.

You can delete the backup without any problem. Only the backup will be deleted from iCloud and nothing else will be deleted, so you can do it without worrying about losing data on iCloud or your devices

Let me explain:
In the clock app for ios 6.0.2 I am a little confused. It allows you to go into your music library, and create a ringtone using any songs you choose. However, I cannot find a way to remove a song from this list, just like I cannot delete one of the preset ringtones (which I'm not trying to do, but just as an example)

I believe you just are able to delete them from iTunes.

just create a generic datasource in rso2 for that table, replicate the datasource for source system 'myself', create a infosource and assign the new datasource to that infosource. Create a update rule from infosource to ods, create a infopackage and load the data.
