No, that is not possible.
You've tagged this question with "security". Security-based conditional rendering of components should be handled using authorization schemes, which you can create centrally and select for each component.

  • Mass Update custom condition types using LSMW

    Hi Members,
Our client has created some custom Condition types for Discount/Surcharges , which they included in info records. Now, I am developing a LSMW which Updates/Creates inforecords. But, it was unable to create or change the custom condition types, as there is no access sequence for these custom ones. The standard SAP documentation confirms the same, access sequence not required. Even transactions like  MEKP/MEK2 are also unable to change the condition record data. Is there anyway, I can change the condition records data in SAP, except manual updation
    -Thanks!

    Hi  Greetson,
I have tested BAPI_SALESORDER_CHANGE ,that is also not deleting the header condition types.  If you see the code for BAPI_SALESORDER_CHANGE,it calls only SD_SALESDOCUMENT_CHANGE .I could not able to delete the header condition type that.It didnt say any error message or success message for condition types. It just says Order Header processed successfully and item processed successfully. Can you tell me what i am missing .

  • Post Goods Receipt(PGI) with custom condition types on purchase order(PO)

    Hi all,
I am trying to post goods receipt with custom conditions on the PO. One of the custom conditions is freight (delivery cost). The value on this condition will post to a different G/L account (freight provision account, rather than GR/IR).
My problem is, when posting this GR, the cost center assigned in the PO under 'account assignment' is not used for posting the custom condition, which I really need it to happen.
Simply put, I want all postings from this PO inherit values in 'account assignment'.
I have been looking into configurations in automatic posting and condition types, but I still have no clue where I can make it happen. Do I have to use BADI?
    Thanks.

Delivey cost condition will be posted to accrual accounts not to the cost center.

  • PO new pricing for selected custom condition types

    Hi Experts
We have certain custom pricing conditions determined through condition records.
Periodically these conditon records undergo changes (new rates maintained).
We would like to have redetermination of new prices for the custom conditions for all the open POs.
Is it possible to have this function for the conditons types which undergo changes.
    Thanks
    ramSiva

    Hi ;
You can filter open PO's with a selection parameter WE01 in ME2N.
After that , go to MEMASSPO tcode , copy open PO's. And, update conditions with header or item EKPO-EBELP or EKKO-KNUMV.
    Transformation :
    KONV-KNUMV = EKKO-KNUMV.
    KONV-KPOSN = EKPO-EBELP.

  • Customized Condition Type

    Hi Friends,
Do anybody worked/Created on customized Pricing Condition types?
Kindly tell me why it's created?? what is the business process??
    Thanks
    Rajan

    Hi,
Yes, you need to create new condition types as required having concept that the standard
condition type should not used as you may change that standard condition type with some requirement. But in future if you need a reference of  standard condition type, you would not get that  character ,behavior &  properties of standard condition type. So always have practice to create new condition type ( customized) copying from standard condition type and do change in new condition type only . Keep   standard condition type  for future reference.Lets example, you have condition type PB00, just copy PB00 to ZB00 & name as Your Company Base Price.
Few condition type in  standard not there & you need to create like example condition types for Packing & forwarding,Insurance ,Transport Cost & inter-transport cost, Royalty Cost etc...For new condition you can play with your requirement with criteria's like  condition class, condition category, calculation type, accrual check box, manual entry in PO, group condition etc.

  • Where to define new custom data type ?

    Hi,
In the past (TS 3.5) I've created our own custom type palette file which has been used
to store new data types and then passed the file to other colleagues. The file would be
stored in the ......\Program Files\.......\User area.
My question has arose because we are now using TS 4.1/4.2 which no longer has separate
NI and User directories in \Program Files.
Because I now want to edit an existing custom data type, I find that our custom type palette has
fallen by the way side, forgot about.
Even though I can see the custom data type definitions within sequence files that employ
the custom data types, which means I can modify them locally, I intend to return to
a custom type palette, i.e. global definition.
What is the relationship between data definitions in a custom type palette and the custom data
type definitions within a sequence file ?
When does a palette file update a sequence file ?, which takes control in the event of conflicts ?,
is a palette file actually necessary if separate sequence files using the same custom data type
can update each other ? What is good practice when defining custom data types ?
    thanks,
    Gary.

    Hey guys,
This is an very interesting thread, and I whole heartedly agree with the advice given so far. I simply wanted to offer some additional advice on type conflicts - which with further answer the initial question regarding which type definition takes precedence in the event of a conflict.
It is important to note that TestStand uses type Names and version numbers to identify the different types. It is also important to note that when you use a customer type definition within a sequence, the sequence file (.seq) which houses the sequence will retain a copy of the type definition. This makes distributing sequence files much easier. However, it also opens the door to potential type conflicts.
TestStand only allows one uniquely named type to be loaded into memory at any given time, so it uses the versions number of the type to attempt to automatically resolve these conflicts. For example, TestStand can be setup to load whichever type has the highest version number (note that this can be changed via the Preferences tab of the Station Options dialog box).
All of this information and more can be found in the following tutorials...

  • How to hide the Condition types in item condition screen in Sales Order ?

    Hi Experts,
We got new requirement from the Client. Pricing Condition types  are ZZBG, ZPBG, ZPBA, ZFSG, ZBDG and ZBHG part in Pricing Procedure. These condition types have Condition records. These need to be hidden in Item conditions screen in Sales Order but other status of the conditions remain unchanged. Pleas provide me the solution earliest  How this we can achieve in a best way.
    Best Regards,
    Srikith

    Hi Srikanth,
You can achieve this using CONDITION EXCLUSION.
Maintain Condition exclusion for first condition type its Exclude the condition types which are below to that.
You must set a condition exclusion indicator for the price. You can do this in two ways:
If you want to set the condition exclusion indicator a follows then you specify it:
1..for all condition records of a condition type (e.g. with condition type PR00) when defining a condition type in SD Customizing
2.for an individual condition record (e.g. only for material 4711) in the detail screen of a condition record (in the Condition exclusion field)
    Hope this will helps you

  • Condition type in PO not posting to desired transaction key.

    Dear experts,
I was wondering whether someone could help me with the following:
I have defined a condition type for which specific additive costs for a purchased finished good should be added. The material is valued at standard price with the specifics that prior to the price calculation via transaction CK74N, additive costs are calculate and then added when executing CK11N that is composed of the price of the purchased finished good and the additive costs. We have created a condition type to break down the additive costs in the one hand and the material cost on the other. We want to have these costs to be posted against a specific cost account. We have created a transaction (via OBYC) for that and added it to the calculation schema. However, when posting the Goods Receipt, the additive costs (difference between the standard price and material price in the PO) are not posted to the desired transaction/GL account but to the price difference account (transaction PRD).
Could anyone please provide me with the customizing steps I should follow to succeed in the flow we want to implement? Can this desired outcome be done via standard or should any User Exit or programming be done to get the expected results?
    Thanks in advance and regards,
    David.

    Hi again,
Do you know what steps we should take in order to modify the standard functionality to have the part of the standard cost asigned to the condition type post to its transaction and not to the standard PRD transaction?

  • 3 Condition types to be added

    Hello,
We have 3 custom condition types defined in pricing procedure. We need to add the values of all these 3 conditions and add into the last (i.e.  3rd condition).
Basically we want to collect the sum of all 3 conditions into the third condition value.
How can we use a condition value formula for it?
STEP  Condition Type  From  To  Subtotal     AltCty
    90       ZTST1                                B
    100     ZTST2                                B
    110     ZTST3                                B              987 ?
But how can Formula 987 will collect the total of all these 3 conditions ZTST1, ZTST2 and ZTST3 ?
    Thanks to advice,
    Anand

    Hi,
    Good Day,
Please Try below code in your formula.
    ***form frm_kond_basis_987.
    data : kwert_1 like xkomv-kwert .
data : it_komv like xkomv occurs 0 with header line.
    refresh it_komv.
    clear it_komv.
    it_komv[] = xkomv[].
    kwert_1 = 0.
    loop at it_komv.
      if it_komv-kschl = 'ZTST1' or  it_komv-kschl = 'ZTST2'
         or  it_komv-kschl = 'ZTST3' .
          kwert_1 = kwert_1 + it_komv-kwert.
      endif.
    endloop.
    xkwert = kwert_1.
    *****endform.

  • Alternative condition type and base value

    hi
gurus  i am very much confused with this
alternative condition type and base value  plzz clear me  from this confusion
give me with realtime example and  tel me in simple way
they will fully rewarded. and also a gud help to me
    thanks
    srinivask.

    Hi
hope it is Alternative Calculation Type and Alternative Condition Base value
    if so pls refer below
    <b>Alternative Calculation Type:</b>
Normally if you want to calculate a value you have to use a calculation type for determination the value. This calculation type is either addition, subtraction or multiplication. Similarly SAP also has got a default calculation type in the control data of the condition type. There you have the options of either Qty based , Fixed Amount Based or Percentage based.
Here what happens is suppose if you define Your condition type that calculates the base price of a material on Qty based. Then the calculation will be done based on the quantity of the material. If the customer orders 10 Nos and you have maintained a unit price of 100 Rs for each material then the value determined is 1000 INR. Similarly if the discount condition type , you maintain the calculation type as %. This means if you maintain the value of 10  % in the condition record. Then this percentage is taken as the calculation type  and the condition value is determined.
In some cases you have to forego the default calculation types and use the customer specific method for calculating a value. For ex if you are calculating the Freight charges for a Material . it depends on so many criteria like, the weight, volume  and also the minimum amount etc etc, in those cases, you forego the default value and then use the alternative calculation type in calculating the condition value against the particular condition.
    <b>
    Alternative Condition Base value</b> :
If you have to calculate any value then you have to have a base value for it. For ex if you want to calculate the  discount of 10 % for a material then you have to have a base value on which this 10% is calculated. Normally you take the  condition value of the base price of the material to calculate the value.
Now you don't want to take the base value and take other values as base value which are derived on some formulae. So you create a routine which will do the mathematical operations in the routine and derive you a value which is now used as the base value for calculating the condition value for a particular condition type

  • Display Condition Type - Error

    Hello Experts,
I am trying to display a Custom Condition Type (ZCTY) on VK13 Transaction. But It's giving me an error:
Rebate condition ZCTY is not defined for this transaction
        Message no. VK028
    Diagnosis
You have attempted to process rebate condition type ZCTY with a
transaction not defined for the processing of rebate condition types.
    System Response
You cannot maintain rebate condition type ZCTY using this transaction.
    Procedure
Rebate conditions can only be processed using the rebate agreement. You
can reach the maintenance screen for rebate agreements via the master
        data menu of your application.
Can anybody please let me know if I have to use other transaction to display?
    Thanks for the help.

I bet you were given a condition table name for ZDNE with key Customer/Material but
the same condition with key customer/ship-to/material is in a different table. The "key" here essentially translates into the table key in the dictionary, so even for the same condition type there could be more than one database table.
Unfortunately, there is not much standard functionality available for the pricign conditions. You might want to check out BAPI_PRICES_CONDITIONS, but we had very bad experience with it - it does not perform any validations and it actually "not released" (as well as the FMs in your post). On the other hand, BDC is extremely slow.
Hope this helps and good luck!
