Hi Experts...
I have output like :
erdat           matnr
12/2/2007    100000
13/2/2007    100000
14/11/2007 100001
14/6/2007    100001
but i want it like:
erdat                 matnr
13/2/2007     100000
14/6/2007     100001
data retriving from table direct..
and it is not working with max function.
plz help me..

You can do as below:
Sort itab by erdat matnr descending.
delete adjacent duplicates frommiab comparing erdat.

How to send data from internal table to the shared folder in ABAP

Hi experts,
My requirement is to transfer data from a file to shared folder. i just did reading data from a file to a internal table. Now i want to send this internal table data into a shared folder which is "
xxx\y\z....".
I do not have any idea on how to send data from internal table to the shared folder path.
can anybody please help me out how to do this?

Where that folder is located, its on presentation server i.e. desktop or application server.
If its on presentation server, use FM GUI_UPLOAD.
If its on application server, then use DATASET functions. Have a look at below link.

Deleting data from a table where there are no indexes on the table

Hi
We have one interface program for one time process.When I was testing the process it was taking too much time to load the data around 1000 records.
it happens in 2 steps
1 puts into stage table
2 puts into base table
in the process/package I have delete statement that deletes data from stage table before each process.
Stage table did not have any indexes but the base table has(obvisiosly)
any idea?
please help me on this.

Is this interface program a seeded or custom one?
Please enable trace on this concurrent program as per (Note: 296559.1 - FAQ: Common Tracing Techniques within the Oracle Applications 11i/R12) and generate the TKPROF to find out why it takes that long to load/delete the data.

i am using gui_download for transferring the data from internal table to excel sheet.
I have a internal table with 3 columns col1,col2,col3 and I am getting the file at the specified path,but my problem is that,in the excel sheet(path specified) all the 3 columns values are printed in one column.Please help me.

Downloading data from internal table to xls file leading zeros are not disp

Hai abap gurus,
when i am downloading data from internal table to excle file. some field values in a column are with leading zeros and some others dont have leading zeros.but in the output it is showing without leading zeros. then how to get with exact values.
Ex:

098456
but output is giving like this:

88567
98456
how to get the actual values.....

Dear Kiran,
Those field in the internal table having Leading Zeroes, make those fields' datatype as character.
Then use the function module to download the content of the internal table to the excel file.

Deleting entry from internal table

Hi Experts,
i have the following internal table:
data : it_result1 TYPE crmt_object_guid_tab
and work area
data : wa_result1 type crmt_object_guid.
i have to delete a guid from internal table based on some condition.
loop at it_resul1 into wa_result1
if lv_priority eq priority.
delete this entry from internal table.
endif.
endloop..
i tried using delete table it_result with table key CRMT_OBJECT_GUID = wa_result. but this is giving syntax error.
what should be done to delete the entry?

[ECC6] Inserting data from internal table (deep structure) into db table

I have a problem when inserting data from IT using deep structure into a database table. Please help:
I have one database table with 2 columns ZTest (col1, col2). Col1 is key.
In my program I have a deep structure t_screen using table type lvc_t_scol:
In 4.6c systems, the INSERT statement works well but it does not work in ECC6 systems.
DATA: BEGIN OF t_screen OCCURS 0,
        rec_count(3) TYPE n,
        col1 LIKE ZTest-col1,
        col2 LIKE ZTest-col2.
DATA: ct TYPE lvc_t_scol.

Currently I have an idea using a temporary internal table with the same structure as ZTest. Use MOVE-CORRESPONDING statement to move data from t_screen table to temporary table before inserting --> It worked. But do you have any ideas without using temporary table?

There are a large number of stataments couldn't be supported in unicode system and so it doesn't allow to do it in ECC 6.
U need to delete the deep structure from your defination:
DATA: BEGIN OF t_screen OCCURS 0,
        rec_count(3) TYPE n,
        col1 LIKE ZTest-col1,
        col2 LIKE ZTest-col2.
DATA: ct TYPE lvc_t_scol. "<-------- Error is here
DATA: END   OF t_screen.
So u need to use a structure like this to update your table:
DATA: BEGIN OF T_ZTEST OCCURS 0,
        rec_count(3) TYPE n,
        col1 LIKE ZTest-col1,
        col2 LIKE ZTest-col2.
DATA: END   OFT_ZTEST.

Deleting data from SID Table

Hi,
I have deleted master data of an info object but it does not remove all the data from the SID table.
I have selected with SID's option but not all data was removed.
I am getting the error below when transporting
"SID Table /BIC/ S2QKHITIND Contains Data : Characteristic ZQKHITIND Cannot be activated. "
What needs to be done to get the charecteristic activated.

The system is unable to delete all the master data as, because some of it is still in use. (See log:
Object RSDMD, sub-object MD_DEL )
Do you want to delete the data records that are no longer in use?
What does this mean. is it due to the query open in some place or something else.
While I am not able to delete the SID table entries as the delete is not active. Please help.
