Delete Document from SAPSCRIPT Repository

Hi all,
i want to delete a document from SAPscript Repository, i have only the document ID, what shall i do to handel this problem?
i have aslo used the FM BDS_DOCUMENT_DELETE but it says NOTHING_FOUND
is there a way to so?

Assuming that this is a valid requirement and that with document you mean FORM, I would check out include MSSCFF00 and then specifically the form delete_form. This shows the functions called when you manually delete the form via SE71 (i.e. DELETE_FORM).

On a mac, when you save docs to icloud, a local copy is also saved. It's saved at:
~/Library/Mobile Documents
Note that Library in the user's home folder is now hidden, so you'll have to set Finder to view hidden files.
The Mobile Documents folder has subfolder where copies of the doc/data files are stored.
If the file(s) are no longer there, then use your Time Machine backups to get copies back to the mac.

I want to have a button , on clicking of this button one excel file ( already located at MIME Repository) should open in a new window.
To achieve the same, I have added one button. and also added one java script web item in my web template.
And as per my understanding, I need to write command/code in the script web item.
I have tried with several standard commands available, but not yet succeeded.
Please suggest the appropriate command or code , that I can put into the java script web item.
Also please provide me, if there is any other solution.

Yes I tried it at first with Script Item but it did not work. I am not sure how should I change the path because of the portal:
"/sap/bw/Mime/Customer/.../file.htm" - this path is not working anymore
Another option that you mentioned I do not want to use. I have about 20 different html files in MIME repository so I would have to create 20 different web application. I do not like this solution.

Recover deleted document from Oracle content server

Hi All,
I've deleted some of documents from oracle content server mistakenly. I am using oracle ucm11g.
I found that we have a feature called "Trash bin". Trash-bin used for recover the deleted document/folder but unluckily settings for "Trash Bin" is disabled in my UCM folder configuration.
Is there any other way to recover?
Please kindly help me on this. It's an urgent production issue, please.

Try to take a look at Repository Manager admin application: http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E21764_01/doc.1111/e10978/c03_repository.htm#DAFCGDIE
If you still can see your items there, you could recover the status.
If not, I'm afraid your documents are gone from UCM. In that case, you might recover them from a back-up. There is also a chance that documents are still present in the Vault directory, so rather than 'recover', you might 're-submit' them.

Print DMS Document from SAPscript

I have a requirement when a user prints Bill of Lading document i need to print a document (stored in the document management) that is linked to a customer or material master.. Can you please explain me how to archive printing documents stored in DMS from sapscript.

i can't tell how to get the DMS data but if want to print the DMS data... u can do it by using print program... after successfull completion of printing of bill of material.. u have to write code in the program... in the retrive data related to DMS then prepare the ouput format for DMS( ex report or forms)..the issue it to print... by ur program.
as mentioned above u can print the DMS data without intervention of the user... because everythig is done by u r program..

You mean the Photo Library? You delete pics that were synced to your phone the same way they got there, through the iTunes sync process. Remove the checks next to the albums/folders that were synced to your phone, hit the apply/sync button & they will be removed from your phone. The only pics that can be deleted directly on your phone are pics in your camera roll.
If you mean delete the Photo Library itself, you can't delete that. All photos synced to your phone reside in the Photo Library...the various albums/folders merely contain pointers to the actual photos, which are in your Photo Library. They are not duplicates. This is similar to the way that iPhoto on a Mac organizes photos.

Deleting document from general documentation tab in implementation project

Hello,
We tried to delete a document from gen. documentation tab in an implementation project, since the gen. documenation tab is greyed out, we couldn't do so. The document is a link from a template project, we tried to delete it (by using the trash can icon) from there first, but the system says "the document is still in use".
Does anyone of you know how to delete a document which has been linked to implementation projects based on a template project?

Hi Li,
Here's a solution you can try for your problem.
Go to your template project in SOLAR01and mark the line of the document you want to delete and press the remove button (red minus icon).
Then go to your implementation project and go to the same place where that linked document is. Click on the <b>Adjust to Original</b> icon (looks like two little boxes with two arrows pointing down.) when you click on this icon, you will get a pop-up window where on the left hand side is your template (original) and the right your implementation (current). On the left, you will see a blank line with the red minus icon and on the left you will see the document you are trying to remove. select that line and click on "Adjust selected entries" icon that's in the middle of the screen.
Notice both lines became blank, once that's done, click on complete icon at the bottom.
You're document has been removed from your implementation project.
Note: This is the only way that I have found for this issue. This does not mean that the document was completely deleted from Solution Manager....just the link to your project. If ever in the future you want to link it back, you can still find it with SOLAR_EVAL.

Reader does not contain files, it only opens them. You need to find where the files are located on your computer, browse to that folder (via My Computer), select them and press Delete, just like with any other file-type.

I didn't quite understood your issue.
Are you trying to delete the content in PDF file?
You cannot edit the content of the PDF file using Adobe Reader.
Or are you trying to delete the document(PDF) file?
You should be able to delete the PDF file like any other file on your computer.
Please explain your problem in detail, this will help me to find a resolution quickly.

I'm working on Oracle Portal (10g)
I'm thinking about one problem:
- how to physically remove document form the Oralce repository using PL/SQL
Does removing row from WWDOC_DOCUMENT$ remove file from hard disk (some
trigers on Delete?).
BTW:
There is one strange (for me ;) ) behavior: I create an item with atached
file (file item) what happent:
- in table WWDOC_DOCUMENT$ is new row for new file created.
- in table WWV_THINGS$ is new row for new item created
Now I would like to remove file but not item (still using PL/SQL).
I use function for example:
PORTAL.Wwdoc_Api.remove_document('101801.BMP');
This function remove path id and filename but not whole file row itself (but
this is less problem). And othere more important problem: after
PORTAL.Wwdoc_Api.remove_document called there is still in item rows pointer
to just deleted file in fields: FILENAME and VALUE.
I would like to set this fileds to null. - in othere way there is exception
durring page deletion (no document found).
I use:
update portal.wwv_things p1
set
p1.FILENAME = null,
p1.VALUE = null
where p1.ITEMTYPE like 'basetext'
and p1.LANGUAGE = wwctx_api.get_nls_language
and p1.SITEID = pagegroupID
and p1.CORNERID = pageID

But this seems to not work at all.
Any body else had some problems like me?

You can try my new DeDupe script. It should be able to get rid of the redundant copies while keeping one copy of each track in each format. See this thread for background.
I've not used the feature, but iTunes can downsample to 128k AAC on the fly as it syncs your devices. Of course you might find the process is too slow for your needs or find that 128k is too much compression.

How do I delete document from ipad but not iCloud?

I looked at the help on the iCloud page where I can log in from my mac. It says I can delete a document off my ipad but not the cloud by going in to settings and selecting the file in there. All I can find is a toggle switch to turn iCloud on/off for pages. I can't find access to individual documents there.

By default, Acrobat DC for iOS displays recently viewed files. You need to switch to other file location (such as Local, Document Cloud, Creative Cloud) to delete, rename, move, or duplicate files.
You can switch to Local, if you would like to see the files and folders that are locally stored on your iPad.

Deleting scenario from Integration Repository.

Dear All,
I was having one scenario in the Dev server which was having all the objects in it like namespace, DT, MT, MI, MM & IM. After testing now I want to delete the complete scenario from Repository. I have deleted all the objects like DT, MT, MI, MM & IM. But when I am deleting the namespace its giving me an error that delete the objects first. I am checking the objects and none of them is existing as I have already deleted them. I have even activated the scenario after deletion of the objects.
When I am deleting the namespace then its giving me an error that 2 objects are already exisitng and they will be deleted irrevocably.
Please guide me on how to delete the complete scenario fro IR.

Hi nishu,
First activate the two default data types(exchane ,log) thats created during any namespace creation and then try to delete the namespace...it should be deleted now...!!!
If u still face the problem!!!
click on the namespace and chek "where-used"..then u can see ...which objects are still associated with it....after deleting activate the changelist..then...delete the namespace!!!
