Delete EO customization

Hi,
I have done the EO substitution. But facing some issue on that page.
So I want to delete the customization done on the standard EO.
I tried jdr_utils.deletedocument . Is it the right step to delete customized EO?
or is there any other step required?

What Anil suggested is true, in addition to Anil,
You can use below to find exact path for customization, which will be input parameter for deleteCustomization api.
Begin
jdr_utils.listcustomizations('/oracle/apps/fnd/wf/worklist/schema/server/WorklistEO')--replace this with your standard EO path
End;
This will print customization paths on console which will act as input for delete customizations suggested by Anil.
I will not suggest you to use other option suggested by Anil(it is just a suggestion, Anil has suggested correct things) as this may disable other personalization(3rd point), you can go with 1st and 2nd points suggested by Anil, which are completely safe, in 2nd point you can delete the personalization as well.
If you use DeleteCustomization API, do commit your changes as API does not commit.

If the MP defining the first custom form doesn't contain anything else you need (such as class extensions) delete the first MP. If it contains other stuff you need, delete the form from the Authoring Tool, increase the version the by 1, seal and import.
Then import your 2nd MP containing your new form.

How to delete a customize table

HI,
I need to delete a customize table . But while trying to delete the table it's showing a message " Still used in dictionary. can't delete'. because this table is used by some programs and search helps. How to delete the table?

Thanks for ur rely! but deletion of table is only possible when it refer to nothing or refers to only abap programs . Because my program refers to some search helps and screens and programs i am not able to delete it. Even in SE56 and SE57 showing the same message.
Is there any way to delete the table with out affecting the programs and search help( without commenting the part of programs that uses tha table and deleating the search help).
Is it possible to create anather customize with same attribute and fields and replacing the new table with old table.

How to REMOVE AND DELETE saved customizations applied to different accounts

Hi Experts
I have created and saved a customization called *'Hidden Graph'* through the front end (under page options)
I saved this customization against different application roles (BI Consumer / BI Author)
Now I No longer need to apply customiaztiion *'Hidden Graph'*
Can someone tell me where these customizations are saved so I can REMOVE AND DELETE it ?

To find the location and deleting from catalog, try to use catalog manager and use search xml for text 'Hidden Graph'
You can find them in sub folders of _selections folder in catalog
ex:
\users\weblogic\_selections
Just in case if you want to delete then you can do finding files like
Hidden+Graph
Hidden+Graph.atr
Nowhere mentioned deleting other than clearing check this doc once

How to delete customize Implementing Class for CL_EXM_IM_FI_DOCUMNT_CHECK

Hi All,
I used se19 to create Enhancement Spot : ARC_FI_DOCUMNT to ZARC_FI_DOCUMNT, and I created a BAdI ZFI_DOCUMNT_CHECK from FI_DOCUMNT_CHECK in ZARC_FI_DOCUMNT, then I implemented a Implementing Class ZCL_EXM_IM_FI_DOCUMNT_CHECK for method IF_EX_FI_DOCUMNT_CHECK~CHECK_FOR_ARCHIVING.
Finally, I deleted ZARC_FI_DOCUMNT and recreate ZARC_FI_DOCUMNT by T-Code SE19 for testing, i found Implementing Class ZCL_EXM_IM_FI_DOCUMNT_CHECK program still in the SAP, but I can't delete this Implementing Class & Program.
How can I delete program & customize Implementing class ZCL_EXM_IM_FI_DOCUMNT_CHECK In SAP?

Proceed as follows.
1. Goto T-Code SE24
2. enter your class name
3. click delete button
Or you can also delete classes from SE80.
You can find class under your Package Name->Class Library->Classes

Deleting all user level customizations

In our WebCenter Portal 11g, PS5 with latest bundle patch, we have quite a few user-level customizations stored in MDS.
However, we have just changed our user base (different LDAP), so many of the users are no longer valid.
Does anyone know of a nifty way to delete all the existing user level customizations (and whatever else is stored in MDS on the user level)?

I think that you will need to code some Java using MDS API to achieve your purpose.
I though in a solution based on next ideas:
1) Analyze metadata paths used by WebCenter in adf-config.xml (It indicates root path folders where apply customizations).
You have to take entries that are using oracle.webcenter.webcenterapp.internal.metadata.WebCenterUserCC customization class
2) Use MDS API to go every possible /cust/user folder of preconfigured paths of MDS and remove it. You can decompile previous class to check how and where is storing User customization class.
However the approach couldn't be good. Why?.
1) If you download and double check MDS paths (where user customizations are) always is using user name encrypted and then isn't easy generate MDS path to remove user customizations. Should investigate where and how is encrypting user when storing.
2) You have to know what users are obsolete because you have to generate the path based on that userID (encrypted).
It's only an idea in my mind. Don't know if exists better approach or something OOTB to delete User customization of obsolete users.

After going to TCODE 'SE11' -> Database Table 'BALHDR'
Give OBJECT as 'RSD'
SUBOBJECT as 'IOBJ_DEL' and try to execute it will give list of all infoobject deleted.
I think you date range is wrong, if you remember technical name of infoobject give it in EXTNUMBER.

Deleted ringtones still on phone

I recently deleted a few ringtones from my iTunes library and from my computer. When I went to sync my tones the ringtones I deleted are still there on my phone. I tried checking and unchecking ringtones and re-syncing but nothing is working.
I have an iPhone 4 and it is updated to iOS5.1.1.

If you don't want to go through the whole restoring process, I think I've found a simpiler way to delete your tones from your library. While your iPhone is attached, go to the homepage of your itunes library in "Albums" view. Looks like this:
-Then, in the left hand corner, tap the "Music" tab.
-The drop down menu will fall down, and then you will select the "Tones" button.
-And from that screen you will be able to delete, rename, & customize your tones anyway you like! =]

Search customize field/segment in IDoc

I've have requirement to delete a customize field ZMKOL that belong a append structure Yxxxx in VBAP. By doing that, i need to scan through all the existing IDoc interfaces that using ZMKOL.
Right now, i do have a list of inbound and outbound interfaces that using in my company. So could you please advise what is the best way for me to identify field ZMKOL is using in which interface?

Since ZMKOL is a custom field, to include it in an IDoc someone had to create a custom segment and extend the IDoc. The custom segments are maintained in WE31. Find out which custom segments have this field and then you'll be able to find which IDocs include these segments.
Also just do a 'where used' on the field in SE11 - this will most likely find the programs where the field is being populated for the IDocs.
Do a search on IDoc extension if you need more info.

Ever growing width of 'Edit Saved Customizations' window in IE

We run our BI reports individually through our java application.
When a report has saved customizations and we select to edit the saved customizations, the edit window comes up and keeps getting ever wider in IE. This means we can't get to the OK and Cancel buttons or select the option to delete the customization.
The only way to stop the ever growing width is to close the edit window by keying Escape or Enter. Only the 'Shared' column is getting wider. The 'Name' and 'My Default' columns remain static in size.
If we run the reports directly through BI, this isn't a problem.
This isn't a problem in Chrome. Our clients prefer IE. We're running IE9 on Windows 7 PCs.
Has anyone come across this and got a solution?

Changed permissions for a folder and items - now can't delete or open

Hello
I was recently playing around with the Get Info button when right clicking on a folder or icon. I was trying to lock the folder so it could not be accessed (except with a password). I ended up locking it with the check box, then changing the privileges to No Access at the bottom under Ownership and Permissions and Details (all drop down menus were set to No Access). Also, now the checkbox is greyed out, so I can't uncheck it...
I was working on an external drive and then transferred the folder to my G5. However, while I can access the folder, I can not open the items I locked down. I also can not delete the folder and I keep getting "You Do not have sufficient privileges". I tried switching the Owner back to my own name (since it got set somehow to System), but after clicking the little lock and entering my password, it says "The operation could not be completed...An unexpected error occured (error code 120)".
Basically, how can I delete this folder or move it to the trash? And also, is there any good way to lock down folders so you need a password to get in?

Deleting sandvox does not delete the customizations like udfs, forms. The actions that you perform in sandbox results in creation of the same in OIM db and also in metadata db.
As a solution of the problem you can try creating a new sandbox and then create new versions of the application instance forms. Once done navigate the application instance and assign the newly created application instance form. This might work and you can ignore the earlier forms.

Deleting QUIT and HELP in ESS

I have implemented ESS 50.4 in EP6.0 SP2. Everything works fine but there are two menu points up in all ESS services: Help and Quit. Help links to some ESS information and Quit ends the ITS Service session.
Can somebody tell where I can exactly (!!) delete or customize these points that they are not showing? I think I have to change the source code in the IACs but which IACs and where? Have somebody solved this problem?

in my case it also does not work. But we use ESS in combination with 4.6C and in sapnote 441182 they are only writing from 4.6B. We also have not the classic ESS menu, only the two links Logoff and Help and a Headerline, that's all. Well, any other suggestions to delete/ cutomize these links?

currently we have a range of Oracle databases, middleware and applications hosted internally on a LAN within a Data Center.
I was just wondering if folk had any experiences of migrating to a cloud model of delivery ?
Q1. Would you recommend hosting yourself rather than having everything Oracle hosted ?
Q2. Would you recommend self managed or Oracle Managed ?
Q3. What difference is there in a Private Cloud solution, hosted at your own Data Center and managed by your own staff from that of the traditional solution / model of simply deploying the various oracle servers in a LAN ? Why bother migrating to Cloud ?
Q4. I see you can Cloud host from 11gR1 onwards, so what's cloud specific about Release 12c or what makes it different from 11g in regards to Cloud ?
Q5. Are there other providers of cloud other than Oracle ? I see Amazon appear to be an Oracle Cloud partner but they seem to only offerring a limited range of Oracle databases and middleware ( an no Oracle Applications that I can see ) ?

2. After extending a VO, why we have to upload .jpx file and if we don't upload what will happen?
You need to upload the jpx file because in your jpx file you have Substitute tag which substitute OLD VO with new VO and at runtime framework will check if there is any substitution available then It will substitute the old VO with the new one.*
3. Can we use EO without altering the table to add WHO columns?
I think no because when you perform DML operations on EO then framework tries to update the WHO columns and if WHO columns are not present you would get an error message*
4. Why we have to develpe the OAF pages in webui and VOs in server folders only? is there any specific reason?
There is no specific reason for this we can create our PG files in server folders as well and it would work fine. This is just a standard given by Oracle.*
5. Are there any other methods to call the methods in AM apart from using am.invoke("<method name>") from CO?

Thanks for your reply. My substitution list is;

When I delete the customization, everything works fine. But, as soon as do JPXImporter to import the substitution, I get the same error "oracle.apps.fnd.framework.OAException: oracle.jbo.NameClashException: JBO-25001: Name LOV_oracle_apps_wip_transaction_server_ComponentAM of object type ApplicationModule already exists".
I just don't understand why the error says Application Module Name (which is ComponentAM) already exists and where I should look.
Also, when I look at "About this page" Page Definition, I see xxComponentAM for Application Module for the Region. But, when I go to Personalization tab, I do not see anything under Business Component Substitutions (It says, No Business Component Substitutions).
