Delete targets

Due to collection errors I had to remove/delete the agent, clean, secure and upload.
I've done this before and remember one should use:
GC=>Setup -> Management Services and Repository -> deleted targets (click on the number)
I still have there the host and the agent:

These targets are in the process of being deleted. The target name/target type cannot be reused until deletion completes."""
Remambering using "force delete" in order to delete all targets in process of deletion.
Where is the tab for "force"?

Restarting opmnctl "all" did not help.
Restarting the oms did not help either.

Still no buttons.

How to Retrieve back deleted target in Cloud Control 12c

Hi,
We have an aggregate service in our 12c environment which has been created dated back in dec-11. Due to recent change in underlying generic services, the target has been dropped and then recreated. However, it lost all the historical data. And now the availability report of that target is showing up as data unavailable.
I am not sure, if we can get back those data. However, if we can modify its creation and other related information to the past date and then apply retro blackout, hope that will help.
Please share if you have experienced any such issues earlier and how to get it resolved.

I am afraid there is no solution for this.
Once a Targets has been deleted, its history is deleted as well, no way back (apart from restoring your repository database of course...)

How to delete target host credentials

Hi,
I have manually cloned a oracle 8i DB @ machine A to a 10g server @ machine B. It is working fine.
After that I have configured OEM. But it is showing 2 target host credential shows both machine-A and machine-B.
Whenever I try to login to the database via enterprise manager console@ machine-B, it chooses the machine-A' as the host credentials and fails to login.
I wanna change/delete the machine-A host credentials from the machine-B. Pls advise me.

Deleting targets when reinstalling agent? [solved]

Hi,
I'm currently staging a production environment with 2 oracle databases and grid control all on different windows servers.
The OS has been reinstalled for a couple of times and each time, the same as the oracle software.
But with every reinstall, the agent is also reinstalled, resulting in "Agent Unreachable" in Grid control.
To get the monitoring to show up in grid control, i have to delete the targets of the newly installed agent and reconfigure the new once. This method results in a loss of history which i like to avoid.
So I'm wondering if it is possible to "reset" the agent configuration in Grid Control so that the new installed agent is recognized and the history can be kept in grid control.

Delete target groups from campaign

Hi,
We are using crm 5.0 and want to archive target groups, but before they are archived we need to delete the target group from the campaign where is it used. Does anyone of you know about a program for this?

I guess you need to follow the Standard SAP Archiving procedure:
First the Campaign needs to be set to Status: Finished or Rejected.
Under the TG properties set the status of the TG as to be archived.
Check the residence time for archiving.

TDMS4HCM: How to delete the not needed OM

Hello,
I have done in our test system the folllowing actions:
1st I do the client copy with the profile SAP_UCSV to setup my receiver client for TDMS4HCM
2nd I tansfer only one person from source to target for my test by using the ERP Initial Package for HCM Personnel Administration (PA)
Problem:
The new client contains the whole organisation management (Germany and Benelux), that is due to the client copy.
I want the client only with Benelux OM, not Germany.
How can I do it? is there any methode to delete the Germany OM?

I use the scenario, "ERP Initial Package for HCM Personnel Dev. PD & PA" . I selected the Benelux OM for transfer and do the following: I click on the buton "PD selection" and "PD delete and target Option", I select the option "Delete complete objects" and i check "Delete Target Area" but unfortunataly only the Benelux OM was deleted. Germany, netherland, center Europe are still in target system. Only the Data were seleted for the transfert are deleted in the target system.
I think i do something wrong. Do you have any idea?

How to delete a management agent from grid control completely?

I have installed oem grid control 10.2.0.4.0 on single host(oemlinux.oracle.com), and I removed agent10g, and reinstall a new management agent into a new location, but when I wanted to add a weblogic server to monitor, I got error as below:
More than one Enterprise Manager Agent was found for the host.oemlinux.oracle.com
I found there were 2 agents in em console, how to delete the old agent from em console,anybody can help me?

Click on the All targets tab, delete the agent.
Then confirm that the delete is in fact happening.
Click Setup, Management & Services Repository tab.
Deleted Targets link.
Time Deleted Completed must have a date in there...
If all that fails - do a quick search - I posted the sql you can run against the repository to wipe it clean of an agent :-)
Not too that if you are removing the O/S software - you need to use the runinstaller to remove the Oracle Home from the inventory.
If you don't do this - future auto installs using the agentDownload script of the agent will fail.

How to refresh and redirect into same page after deleting a file

One more help I need. I implemented the brows and download file functionality in my application successfully. And I am interested to implement delete also like download. If user will click on download three options will come open, save, cancel in case of download. But like download I want to put delete link which will delete the corresponding file.
I written the procedure in same fashion as download and compiled in my schema.
The code is here:

if I am clicking back and refreshing then getting file is deleted successfully.
That means procedure is working but I want that after clicking on delete link corresponding to any file same page should appear with refresh then my problem will solved.

This kind of thing is best done by rendering checkboxes next to each file in your report region;using apex_item.checkbox(1,file_id) and providing a Delete button that would fire a after-submit process that does

Mapping Multiple Source fields to Single Target Fields with differnt Values

I am having a senario where I have to mapped multiple fileds from source str. to same Idoc Fields with ( differnt default values )
E.g Source Str.
- ShopNO
- OrderTyp
Has to mapped to Idoc Str E1EDK14-Orgid.
E.g Mapping:
So when ShopNo will mapped to E1EDK14-Orgid the default value should be "MOP" & E1EDK14-Qualf should be 019
and when OrderType will be mapped to E1EDK14-Orgid the default value should be "STD" & E1EDK14-Qualf should be 012
So I tried of using node "UseOneAsMany".....but there I cant define the vaule of field orgid, and seconly how to specify the values of field Qualf?
Do i need to write my own specify function ? or I can sovle this issue using standard avaiable functions ?

The source or target structure has been changed or could not be found in the Integration Repository. The mapping definition contains elements or attributes that do not exist in the changed structure. The relevant entries will be deleted
Target structure has no such path: /ZARVO_ORD/IDOC/E1EDK05[1]/KSCHL. Skipping mapping

Any suggestion ?
in other words, when I do duplicate it creates me the segment, but when I save it, it gets disappered .........

Target host changing domain

Quickie, I have a target host moving from one domain to another. I thought this was in the documentation, but it isn't.
So...I think all i need to do is:
1) emctl upload (clear all pending files)
2) stop agent
3) delete targets from grid (its only agent and host, no databases)
4) change the target server to new domain
5) edit targets.xml & emd.properties & lastupld.xml files and put in the new domain name
6) restart agent and pray
Have I missed anything?

Think that should work...although i've never done it. Let us know if it works for you.
I guess the worst-case scenario is to remove the agent i.e. uninstall and then reinstall the agent and let GC find it.

How can perform insert /update /delete in one single mapping.

Hi,
I want to is there any logic by which we can create 2-3 pipeline in a mappings like pipelines will work for insert / update /delete or storing soem rejected data according to conditional flag.
I tried it in a mapping but problem is that when target load order is like ins then upd then delete/reject . if new rec will come then control will pass through ins target . but if rec needs to update or delete then again control is going to ins target not update / delete target.
We have already given the all conditional flags in filter after lookup and before target .
all possibilities we checked but didnt got success.
last option is separate the mappings for insert / update/delete.....etc.
Is there any solution for this type of problem.

Delete button control: Javascript confirm & redirect?

I have a contract details page that has the following buttons: Save, Cancel, Delete. The Cancel button has a general redirect assigned to it, since no processing is necessary. As for the Save button, the page submits to itself, so the screen just reloads quickly, with a note to show the record was updated. As for the delete button, I don't want the user to remain on a details page for a contract they just deleted, so I wish to redirect the user to my contract search page after the record is deleted. I also want to have the button confirm the deletion before proceeding.
My current page setup is as follows:
SAVE button (template based)
Optional URL Redirect - No Target
DELETE button (template based)
Optional URL Redirect - Page 3 (contract search)
"Request" and other fields here are empty
CANCEL button (template based)
Optional URL Redirect - Page 3 (contract search)
"Request" and other fields here are empty
BRANCHES Information:

Here's my dilemma...under the setup listed above, clicking Delete redirects me to the search page, but the record is not deleted (I do have a DML process set up for Insert/Update/Delete, set up for After Submit). I've tried changing both the button and/or branch properties to set up URL processing, entering javascript to confirm the deletion. No matter the combination I use, either the contract will not get deleted, or the deletion is a success, but I get an error message that there is no branch page set up for that. If anyone has suggestions as to how I can get validation to play nicely with deleting records, it would be much appreciated.

Is it possible that you have more than 1 branch to the target page? yes I do, before I had the Unconditional branch on top. Now I moved the conditional branch to the top. Redirect is working fine but no luck with passing values. After some research I found that it passes the request value when I send it as a string but not as value of the item on page. This may have something to do with in-built Delete procedure.
I am very new to Apex/Oracle and I don't know how to create a oracle workspace and post my App on line. So, I am giving a detailed description of what I am trying to achieve. please bear with this while I try to figure out how to post it on line.
This is exactly what I am trying to do.
On the first page I have multiple regions to show different reports based the user selection. User clicks a button to make a selection. I am toggling between the regions depending on the request value from the button click.
If the user decides to modify a record he is directed to a form. After modifying I want the user to come back to the first page and be in the same region where he was initially.
To achieve this
--- I am passing the request value from the first page to the form and saving it in a hidden variable. In the unconditional branch I am passing that value back and it is working fine.
--- Only for the Delete operation I have problems. I still want to have the Alert so I am using the javascript:confirmDelete(htmldb_delete_message,'DELETE'); in the Delete button URL.
I created a conditional branch which has lower sequence than the unconditional one.
I have set the condition as Request = Expression 1(DELETE) not the button click.
In the Action part, i have the following
Target type Page in this Application
Page: 21
Request: &P21_Old_Request.
Clear Cache
Set these items P21_Item1
With these values &P22_Item1.
I have seen that page redirect is working fine.( I tried to redirect to other pages it works fine). Only the values are not passed. I tried to pass these values as Application level items even then it doesn't do anything. But if u pass the string directly it would pass the string. But I want to be able to pass the value as an Item from the form.
As I mentioned before it may be to do something with in-built Delete procedure.
Is there way to see the SQL of that procedure?
Do u have any suggestions for me?

Support Pack upgrade issue: Request deletion dose not work on CUBE

Hi Gurus,
We recently had a support package upgrade from SAPBW701 SP6 to SAPBW702 SP7.
We have an Info package request stuck in yellow state for DSO Load in HR Data.
We manually made it red and are trying to delete it manually/by creating a variant for Delete target contents in the process chain. It is not getting deleted.
Rather if we use the Delete target contents variant previously created before the support package upgrade, it works fine.
Please help me if any one can suggest any SAP NOTE or some other solution if possible.

Hi,
i think you have made it to red in request tab and tried deleting. Actually , you have to make the QM status red in Dataload monitor by double clicking the TOTAl technical status.
After the above activity, then try deleting.
I don't think its a Service Pack problem.

Unable to delete WEB-INF\\lib\*.jar using ant

Using ant to build struts.
This is part of the build.xml for struts-example.war

But when I try to build and reload it to tomcat, it gives me errors:

All the advice above seems to make sense, but .....
- Tomcat shutdown,
- with all java processes shutdown,
- after a full reboot,
- with antiJARLocking="true" set in every context.xml I can find:

I've downloaded the Process Explorer from www.sysinternals.com and no windows processes appear to have a handle on there directory.
