Deleting and deploying the applications
We are using wls 10.3.2 in Beta environment. We have 6 applications deployed in one of the managed server. We deleted one of the old ear file and deployed a new version ear file using default stage mode. But while trying the access the application our client is still having the old application page displayed.
We cannot delete the tmp folder in the /bea/user_projects/domains/yourdomain/servers\yourserver/tmp, because we have other applications related directories and files. Is there any procedure or steps to track down to confirm that the right version of ear file has been deployed.
Kindly provide suggestions. Thank you.

Delete the copy in iTunes when the iPod isn't connected and then sync the iPod, or click here, follow the instructions, and then delete the instance on the iPod itself.

Hi ,
I have installed Jdev using silent installation .
Now I have some apps already created I want to create a default domain and then deploy apps into that through ant or any script?
Can anyone help me on this?
Thanks and Regards,
Vivek PemawatWe still don't know what you want to archive with here.
Cvele_new_account got you a pointer on how to install the DefaultDomain.
Tip: if you want to know or see the exact command line jdev uses to install the DefaultDomain, open jdev and in the application server navigator right click on hte integrated server and select configure DefualtDomain. In the log window you see the command line with all parameters.

How to change the Data sources after deploying the application ??
Hi All,
i want to know how to change the Data sources after deploying the application to the application server ???
I'm using Oracle Application Server 10g Release 3 (10.1.3.1.0)Can you access the Enrprise Manager website of the target Application Server from your location? If so, you can change the datasource in it. If not, yo can bundle the datasource definition in your archive and use that one instead of the one configured in the target OC4J container. Or this will just be the responsability of your customer: whenever you send a new WAR file, they have to modify the datasource if needed and deploy the application?

Is there any way to use RUN button to deploy the application and open IE...
Hi
Thank you for reading my post
i used to use Run button to compile / deploy and run (opening the browser to project context path) .
i want to know is there any way to use RUN button to deploy an application to standalone OC4J and opening browser?
I know that we can define ear or war deployment profiles and use them to deploy the application to stand alone server , but i want a single click solution.
thanksHello,
Try disabling graphics hardware acceleration. Since this feature was added to Firefox, it has gradually improved, but there still are a few glitches.
You might need to restart Firefox in order for this to take effect, so save all work first (e.g., mail you are composing, online documents you're editing, etc.).
Then perform these steps:
*Click the orange Firefox button at the top left, then select the "Options" button, or, if there is no Firefox button at the top, go to Tools > Options.
*In the Firefox options window click the ''Advanced'' tab, then select "General".
*In the settings list, you should find the ''Use hardware acceleration when available'' checkbox. Uncheck this checkbox.
*Now, restart Firefox and see if the problems persist.
Additionally, please check for updates for your graphics driver by following the steps mentioned in the following Knowledge base articles:
* [[Troubleshoot extensions, themes and hardware acceleration issues to solve common Firefox problems]]
* [[Upgrade your graphics drivers to use hardware acceleration and WebGL]]
Did this fix your problems? Please report back to us!
Thank you. -
Hi , unfortunately i faced with a problem that i couldent open my audio note so i thought if i delet it and transfer the application from itunse from my pc i can have my files...but all of them deleted from both application and also from wifi address... Is it any solution for recovery the filew? I missed lots of important files , plz help me
Tnx alotHey Eric,
Thanks for taking the time. Unfortunately no that does not solve it. Same as swipe it will get me there and it will show separate programs spaced out. The issue I am having is that all my open word files are bunched up in a pile on top of each other. I can see the edges of each one but I want them to be separated from each other enough that I can visually identify what file is what.
Again, thanks for trying, it is appreciated. -
i have two apple id accounts ,when i used to update application it used to prompt a default id (the old one) and if the application was downloaded using the other id i would cancel and it would prompt the other id but not any more .
it just prompt the old id which im not signed in with im signed in using the new id and when i cancel nothing happens and when i try to update applications separately i have the same problem .
im signed in using the new id
the old one is my wife's so i can't delete it
the problem happens when i update all or each application by its own
using ios 5.0.1 on a iphone 3gs
the applications are downloaded using both the new and old id's
any help will be greatly appreciatedِThese are user-to-user forums, you are not talking to Apple here and they don't monitor these forums - I've asked the hosts to remove yout account ids from your post.
In terms of combining accounts it's not currently possible to do so, nor to copy/transfer content from account to another. -

MDS error while deploying the application in 12c
Hi,
I'm using JDeveloper - 12.1.2.0.0
I'm trying to deploy the application and encountered the following error:
oracle.mds.config.MDSConfigurationException: MDS-01330: unable to load MDS configuration document
MDS-01329: unable to load element "persistence-config"
MDS-01370: MetadataStore configuration for metadata-store-usage "WebCenterFileMetadataStore" is invalid.
MDS-01255: The property partition-name has not been supplied.
I see the MDS metadata entries are present in adf-config.xml located at .adf folder.
The same configurations are working in 11g environment, but seing this error in 12c.
Are there any changes to be done for adf-config.xml file in 12c setup?
Any inputs would be helpful.
Thanks
RaviRavi, have you migrated the application?
If yes you should make a small test with a fresh 12c app to see how the descriptors have changed.
The release notes don't reveal a change in the setup. !"c migration on the other side sometimes adds descriptos or add entries into the meta data. Thats why I always try to create a app under12c first to see which entries and descriptors are needed. Then I compare them with the data after the migration.

Your struts configuration file is breaking this rule, so an error is thrown. Perhaps you are using a different version of struts on either server? Hi,
I am trying to migrate an application from JBoss to SAP Netweaver WAS.
I am getting an exception when i am trying to deploy the application from Netweaver developer studio as "<b>java.lang.OutOfMemoryError</b>". The portion of the stack is given below,
<b>Caused by: com.sap.engine.services.ejb.exceptions.deployment.EJBFileGenerationException: Errors while compiling:
The system is out of resources.
Consult the following stack trace for details.

I heard that by changing some configuration values, we can resolve the problem (like adjusting -Xms & - Xmx parameters as well as the Max threads). But i don't know in which script/ tool should i find these settings to change.
Could you please share your knowledge in this regard,
Best regards,
Sudheesh...Hi
You can change the XMX and thread parameter in the Visual Administrator.

-Shabir.Hello,
The thing is I have been using a diff user ID for loggin in to the server or the machine. But now that the server IP has changed and some configurations done I have got a diff Userid and I am using this to loggin .
So for the same I had to create a new workspace and then imported the DCs again one by one and when I tried deploying them it throws the above exception.
I then tried using the Administrator User id which has the same password which it was having before the IP change, but no good result.
Please suggest me something.

Problem while deploying the application
Hi,
My application is currently working fine on tomcat .
I am trying to migrate it to Weblogic 8.1 SP4 in clustered environment.
While deploying the application, I am getting the following error.
<BEA-101249> <[ServletContext(id=19016735,name=test,context-path=/test)]: Servlet class com.ABC.EFG.services.QuartzInitializerServlet for servlet QuartzInitializer could not be loaded because the requested class was not found in the classpath.
Please provide me the solutions.
ThanksThe workaround is to extract the ear file into war and jar files. Then open this war or jar file whatever you want to modify in the deployment tool. Save this modified war/jar file. Re-open the ear file and remove the previous war and jar files and add this new ones into the project.
