Deleting EEWB Component Records

Hi,
We are facing a challenge trying to delete component records that have been created on the CRM order using EEWB. Where there is only one record to delete we have found that a call to CRM_ORDER_MAINTAIN works when we set the mode in the extension to 'D', but this doesn't work when there are multiple records to delete.
Has anyone done this successfully? If so, please share your knowledge and code with us.

If my understanding is correct, you wanted to delete the value tht is present in the EEWB field but not the entire Order right...
If so, use FM BAPI_BUSPROCESSND_CHANGEMULTI to change the field value of multiple order at one time/..
If you wanted to delete multiple Orders at one time, please use FM
BAPI_BUSPROCESSND_DELETEMULTI specifying the mode to be 'D'.\

Hi all,
Is there any function module available to get the deleted BOM component.
From The "CDPos" table, will get the fields client,Bom Type,BOM number,Node position and counter(Corresponding technical fieldnames for the above said fields are mandt,stlty,stlnr,stlkn,stpoz).
Want to pass the above got parameters to the FM to get the deleted BOM component record.

Error while deleting enhanced component

Hi,
i have enhanced the component 'ICCMP_BP_CP' and the view 'ICCMP_BP_CP/BuPaContactPersonCreat'. When we enhanced the component, it throwed me the error message that user is not authorized for sicf transaction. after getting the authorization, i enhanced the component. But when we we enhanced the view, it was throwing view bind exception in Web UI. so, we deleted the enhanced view and when we are trying to delete the enhanced component 'ICCMP_BP_CP', its throwing the error that 'run time repositry could not be loaded',
After I tried deleting the component enhancement, I can still open that component with enhancement set from BSP_WD_CMPWB but it doesn't show me any repository.xml. Also, I don't see any entry for the enhanced component in BSPWD_CMP_C_REPL.
I am attaching the screen shots like how I am deleting the enhanced component. Could you please tell me how to delete it.

Hello,
Open table BSPWDV_COMP_EXT via SM30 and open it with the Enhancement Set in which you created the enhancement you want to delete. (or the view cluster BSPWDVC_CMP_EXT via SM34)
Look for the component for which you want the enhancement to be deleted. Note down the "Runtime Rep. BSP application" and delete the record.
Open the BSP application you noted down in SE80 and delete the (incorrect) enhancements, then delete the whole BSP application.
Restart enhancing the component.

How to delete the double records connected to one or more than one tables in SQL 2008?

Can anyone please help me with the SQL query. I Im having a table called People with columns names: personno., lastname, firstname and so on. The personno. is having duplicate records,so all the duplicate records i have written with "double" in
the beginning of the numbers. I tried deleting these double records but they are linked to one or more than one tables. I have to find out, all the tables blocking the deleting of double person. And then create select statements which creates update statements
in order to replace the current id of double person with substitute id. (The personno. is in the form of id's in the database)

You should not append "double" in the personno. When we append it will not be able to join or relate to other table. Keep the id as it is and use another field(STATUS) to mark as duplicate. Also we will require another field(PRIMARYID) against
those duplicate rows i.e the main or the primary personno.

Error while Deleting Software Component

Hi All,
I am getting following error while deleting Software Component Version:
Unable to Delete object DELETEDEMO_COMPONENET, 1.0 of delete.
You cannot delete a sotware component version if it contains imported interfaces.
Is there any shortcut isntead of deleting all objets manuually?

It's very simple
Solution:
Double Click on Software Component, On Right Hand side >Go to Software Component Version->Delete the software component.If all the necessary Objects have been properly deleted, there will be no problem in Deleting the Software Componet version
1) Delete the created Data Types, Message Types, Message Interfaces, Message Mappings, and Interface Mappings.
2) There should be no Imported SAP Objects in the Software Component. If any delete them and activate changes.
3) Delete all namespaces in the editor using sign. Do not save the changes.
4) Delete the two default data types that are created in the Interface Objects-->Data Types of the software component version (ExchangeFaultdata, ExchangeLogdata). Now save changes for the s/w component version and activate the changes. Ignore the warnings that pop-up.
5) The radio button for u201CInterface import should be at u201CNot permittedu201D instead of u201CImport RFC and IDoc Interfaces from SAP Systems Permittedu201D.
6) Now go to Software component version menu in the right hand pane. Click on delete and the software component vanishes from left hand pane

Unspecified Error while deleting a component

I have a component with a <form> tag; which refers to a servlet which is registered with a particular path.
When i try to delete the component I am getting "Unspecified Error" - error. Once i run the page am not able to select the component to delete also.

Hi Veena,
Look at your log file to get complete stack trace to find the cause.
As a workaround, In crxde go to the page under par identify your component. Then delete that node & save the changes. An example to delete productlist from geometrixx product page is [1].

I am trying to put end date to a payment method of any employee in HR/Payroll 11.5.10.2
but receiving the following error message:
APP-PAY-07201 Cannot perform a delete when child record exists in future
Can u advise what steps I should follow to resolve this issue.

This note is related to termination of employee while our employee is on payroll and just want to change is payment method. But in the presence of existing payment method we cannot attched another becuase we are receiving an error:
APP-PAY-07041: Priority must be unique within an orgainzational payment method

How to delete the material records related to storage type

Dear SAP guru's,
I got a situation that if the material "XXXXXX" exists in two different storage type (let say 001 & 002 ) and the material needs to be removed out of one (Let say 002) to avoid the picking and putaway in future.
Inorder to accomplish an above requirement we tried the below cases
Case 1: By flagged the material "XXXXXX" under storage type 002 in MM06 transaction.But it didn't restrict the system on allocating and removing the stock from /to to the storage type 002.
Case 2:After we flagged the material for deletion under storage type 002 ,we used to MM71 transaction to archive & delete the material record that assocaited with the storage type 002 completely.
I am kind of queiries to know if there is any other method or procedure available to delete the storage type associated material records in SAP.
Please guide me with the other options.Thanks.

Hi John,
Its very simple, remove the Storage type indicators from the material master - Warehouse View 1 at Stock placement & Stock removal section, with this it won't pickup or place the materials in the concerned storage type.
If you have extended this materials to more than 1 storage type, you need to do the same for all the storage types.

How to delete the duplicated records, not just surpress the records?

I am new to CR. Right now I am doing a project which needs CR get query from Oracle. I got the query from Oracle. There are records with duplicated fields. For example (the following only show part of fields):
ID    body_code
1            10
2             10
3             15
4              15
5              15
6              16
I need to only select records (not surpress, because I will do some caluculate later) like following:
ID         body_code
1             10
2              15
3               16
I tried to creat selection fomula in fomula workshop, shown as follows:

but CR said next can be evaluated. I think it must have something to do with the print-time. So what show I do to delete the duplicated records.Thank you very much.

Try this:
Insert a group on body_code. Then create a running total called Distinct Count. Field to summarize -> ID, Evaluate on change of group Group # 1 Body Code, and Never Reset.
Then insert a chart in the report header:
In the advanced layout, select body_code on change of and select Distinct Count running total in the Show values.

Hi Prakash,
You can delete a particular record from ODS by specifying the key field name in Selective deletion button available in Contents tab in the manage screen of ODS. But it will only delete the record from the active data table and not from the Change log and new data table . You should be very carefull if you are doing in Production system as there is chance of deleting other records accidentally.
Go to Selective deletion button - > Click on delete selection -> Enter the key field values of the record you want to delete-> Press save button to save as Variant -> Go back and click on selection button -> Chosse the background job type -> Click on start button.

Procedure to delete mutiple table records with 1000 rows at a time

I am having requirement to create procedure to achive the deletes from 5 big tables. 1 master table and 4 child tables. Each table has 28 millions records. Now I have to schedule a procedure to run it on daily basis to delete approximately 500k records from each tables. But the condition is: Seperate procedures for each tables and delete only 1000 rows at a time. The plan is below. Since I am new for writing complicate procedure, I don't have much idea how to code the procedures, can some one help me to design the procedure queries. Many Thanks
1. Fetch 1000 rows from master table with where clause condition.
2. Match them with each child tables and delete the records.
3. Atlast delete those 1000 rows from master table.
4. over all commit for all 5 X 1000 records.
5. Repeat the steps 1 to 4 till no rows to fetch from master table.

You want to use one single SQL statement to delete the child records in a table and the corresponding master records in the master table??
That's not quite possible with a single SQL, of course unless you are talking about Oracle Forms, where you have a relation and set the delete behavior to Cascading, like said in the above posts.

Error while deleting any component from the widget

Whenever i delete any component from widget it stops running..i means whenever after deleting i execte the widget nothing happens.........it gives me an error saying
"Syntax Error in line 1 " and no other information....so can anyone tell me how to resolve this????????

Hello,
This might happen when you delete Header or Footer from widget. It is already corrected in latest version of Tools. Workaround is to add dummy view that is not used anywhere in widget but contains Header and Footer.
