Deleting row with inputText components throws error:

How delete a row in table with inputText components in it?
I tried just deleting it from the model but then I get the following error:
javax.faces.el.EvaluationException: java.lang.IndexOutOfBoundsException: Index: 3, Size: 2

oops. I posted to the wrong group. sorry. I've since moved it to jdeveler.

  • Deadlock when delete rows with blob.

    Hello
    I have the following issue. I try to clean a table that contains a BLOB column.
    To do this I use SQLDBC I create a statement that contains the LOB column, I fetch the line, load the Blob. and before fetching the next line, I send a delete request. and I fall in the deadlock.
    If I fetch the next line before sending the delete request there is no deadlock, there is also no deadlock if i do not request le LOB column in the select.
    In fact when I made select with LOB, there is the follwing line in DOMAIN.LOCKS
    SESSION;TRANSCOUNT;PROCESS;USERNAME;DATE;TIME;TERMID;LASTWRITE;LOCKMODE;LOCKSTATE;APPLPROCESS;APPLNODE;SCHEMANAME;OWNER;TABLENAME;TABLEID;ROWIDLENGTH;ROWIDHEX;ROWID;

    when i send the delete request the following lock appears in DOMAIN.LOCKS. A exclusif lock on the column I want to delete. It's ok

    The database request a tab_exclusive lock on tableid 0000800000046918 but there is already a tab_share lock on this.
    Do you why there is a lock on the table :  tableid 0000800000046918 ?
    How to avoid this lock using SQLDBC ?
    Thanks for you help.

    Hello,
    Here is code that explain my issue.
    I create a table like this :
    create table "ESKDBADM"."DBM350_AUTOTESTXML"( "MSN" INTEGER not null, "DIST_FILE" BLOB, constraint SYSPRIMARYKEY primary key ("MSN"))
    And then I try to delete row with the following program. I do not understand why the request SELECT Msn, DIST_FILE FROM DBM350_AUTOTESTXML set a share lock on the tableid : 000080000004691D.
    I do not find this tableid in the "SYSINFO"."FILES" table.

    If you want to be precise and have other rows where seconds and minutes are specified then specify "AM" in the format mask, as follows;
    create table t
    (gc_id number
    ,company_id number
    ,transaction_date timestamp
    ,transaction_code number
    insert into t values (14558, 101350, to_timestamp('01/31/2009 12:00:00 PM', 'mm/dd/yyyy hh12:mi:ss AM'), 6550)
    delete from t where transaction_date = to_timestamp ('01/31/2009 12:00:00 PM', 'mm/dd/yyyy hh12:mi:ss AM')
    /or better still use;
    '01/31/2009 12:00:00', 'mm/dd/yyyy hh24:mi:ss'

  • Full optimize with Compress DB throws error

    Hi,
    We are using SAP BPC 7.0 MS version... We have an SSIS package scheduled every morning for a Full Optimize with Compress DB. For the past few days this package had been failing after running for 2 hours, with the following error message :
    [Error][OSoft.Services.Application.OptimizeManage.OptimizeManageCtrl]
    When we tried doing a Full optimize without compress DB or Index defragmentation from the Admin Console, it completes successfully.
    But when we try doing a Full Optimize with Compress database checked, it runs for about 2 hours and throws the following error :
    An error has occurred during processing
    Error Message : Thread was being aborted
    After the above process it leaves all the records in the fact table with source column 1.
    Can anyone please share your ideas on this issue if you have faced this before and a way to fix this.
    We do not have bad or invalid records in the fact table.

    Hi,
    Please recheck if you have any calculated members or invalid dimension members.
    Calculated members will create such problems.
    Please check you have enough free disk space on your server which has Database and Analysis Services.
    Please make sure you have enabled 3GB support in Everest Update component, if you have more than 4GB RAM in your Application server.
    Please check if you have setup the Analysis Server settings with a minimum recommended value for the
    Threadpool \ Query \ MaxThreads parameter.
    The recommended value is higher of 10 or (number of Analysis Services Databases + twice the number of processor cores).
    If you have 4 dual core processors in your Analysis Services server (8 cores) and 5 Analysis Services DB, then you must set the value as 5+(2*8)=21.
    The source column will be updated as zero when the full optimization is complete. It remains as 1 since your full optimization is not completed.
    Since it says thread is being aborted, I believe the Analysis Services server settings change might resolve your issue.

  • ADFS Active Authentication SAML token with unicode values throwing error when post to _trust end point in SharePoint

    Hi All,
    I have a SP2013 environment which authenticate users using ADFS 2.0 via Windows AD. We have two separate clients, Portal and Mobile. Portal users Passive Federation where as Mobile client uses Active Authentication with usernamemixed endpoint in ADFS.
    I have an AD property which stores Unicode characters. In Active Authentication via Mobile, for a user who has a Unicode value in the AD property, I can get the SAML token successfully from ADFS.
    Ex : <saml:AttributeValue>español</saml:AttributeValue>
    However, when I post this SAML token to SharePoint _trust endpoint, I'm getting an error "500 Internal Server error". However for the same user, if I change the AD property value from "español" to "English" then I can get the FedAuth
    cookie successfully from the _trust endpoint.
    Also, for the same user, If I logged in via Portal which uses Passive Federation, then it's working fine.
    Really appreciate your thoughts on this.
    Supun

    Hi Supun,
    As you mentioned, the issue only happens in Active authentication. Would you please let me know which mobile client your users are using for the Active authentication, is it a custom one? Please be noted if you use a mobile browser, the authentication will
    also be Passive.
    In Passive mode authentication, STS also uses POST to pass the security token to the relaying party. I'd like to know what kind of tool you are using to post a SAML token to SharePoint endpoint as impersonation of an Active authentication. Since the Active
    authentication flow is quite complex, I also suggest you to check the event log in your ADFS server, and try to find more information about the issue.
    Thanks,
    Reken Liu

    Hi all,
    I have java 1.6 and oracle 11g, so i included ojdbc6.jar in the classpath and also start up script of oc4j. Apparently the wrong classpath, since whatever code that wants to fetch or create a datasource does not have access to the classes in ojdbc6.jar.
    There is only one real course of action: read the OC4J manual to figure out how to properly work with datasources. Or post in the OC4J forum like you've already been doing recently...

  • Delete Rows with specified data

    hello
    maybe you know what script/formula i can use to do the following:
    i need to remove rows what include in any cell some specified word.
    words for lookup should be specified in another cells.
    this require new script? or somebody know how to do this?

    First, you cannot "delete" a row using a formula. You can make it so a row can be hidden. You can highlight a row (i.e., such as by putting the word "DELETE" in a cell in a particular column) so you can locate and delete the row manually. You could probably write a script to do these deletions for you but I'm not sure it is worth the time unless you need to do an awful lot of them or need to do it often.
    The problem statement is still not completely clear. Will you be searching for the entire phrase "T-Technologies :: CODE3290"? Is that the entirety of what is in a cell or is that only part of the text in the cell? Or will you be searching for a piece of that phrase, such as "Technologies" or "Tech" or "code" or "3290"?
    You can highlight any cell containing a particular word or phrase or group of letter/numbers by using conditional formatting. Use the test "text contains..." and type in the word you are looking for. Set the fill to red so you can see it. Use Copy Style then Paste Style to the rest of the table. Then manually delete any row that has a red cell.

  • Deleting rows with '

    I want to delete all rows form a table that I have. My criteria for deleting is I want to delete the rows where the value for the username colum includes an apostrophe!
    So something like:
    delete from users where username like '%'%';
    Obviously the above line doesn't work. What will?
    Thanks for the help,
    Wallace

    SQL>insert into temp values(1,'aravind');

    SQL>insert into temp values(2,'ara''vind');
    1 row created.
    SQL>insert into temp values(3,'aravi''nd');
    1 row created.
    SQL>select * from temp;

  • Database, Dataset, Table Adaptors Error "Unable to load, Update requires a valid DeleteCommand when passed DataRow collection with deleted row"

    Microsoft Visual Basic 2010 Express.
    I am new to Visual Basic programing and i am trying to understand the relationships between Datasets, database, table Adaptors. I have to following code that is is giving me the following error" Unable to load, Update requires a valid DeleteCommand
    when passed DataRow collection with deleted rows".
    I can track the error and its located in "OffsetTableTableAdapter.Update(MaterionOffsetDataSet.OffsetTable)" code. What am i missing?
    It seems that i can delete the data on the DataGridView Table and it only displays the correct data. but my database is not updating, even though the data grid displays differently.I can determine this because, when i save the offset database, i have all
    the previous uploads and all the rows that i wanted to delete are still there.
    My final goal is to be able to import offset data from a CSV file, save this data on the pc, send a copy of this data to a NuermicUpDown so the customer can modify certain numbers. From here they download all the date to a controller.  IF the customer
    needs to modify the imported data, they can go to a tab with a data grid view and modify the table. They will also have to option to save the modified data into a csv file.
    Im not sure if i am making this overcomplicated or if there is a easier way to program this.
    CODE:
    Private Function LoadOffSetData()
            Dim LoadOffsetDialog As New OpenFileDialog 'create a new open file dialog and setup its parameters
            LoadOffsetDialog.DefaultExt = "csv"
            LoadOffsetDialog.Filter = "csv|*.csv"
            LoadOffsetDialog.Title = "Load Offset Data"
            LoadOffsetDialog.FileName = "RollCoaterOffset.csv"
            If LoadOffsetDialog.ShowDialog() = Windows.Forms.DialogResult.OK Then  'show the dialog and if the result is ok then
                Try
                    Dim myStream As New System.IO.StreamReader(LoadOffsetDialog.OpenFile) 'try to open the file with a stream reader
                    If (myStream IsNot Nothing) Then 'if the file is valid
                        For Each oldRow As MaterionOffsetDataSet.OffsetTableRow In MaterionOffsetDataSet.OffsetTable.Rows
                            oldRow.Delete()
    'delete all of the existing rows
                        Next
                        'OffsetTableTableAdapter.Update(MaterionOffsetDataSet.OffsetTable)

                        Dim cellvalue(25) As String
                        'Reading CSV file content

                            Dim NRow As MaterionOffsetDataSet.OffsetTableRow
                            rowvalue = myStream.ReadLine()
                            cellvalue = rowvalue.Split(","c) 'check what is ur separator
                            NRow = MaterionOffsetDataSet.OffsetTable.Rows.Add(cellvalue)
                            Me.OffsetTableTableAdapter.Update(NRow)
                        End While
                        Me.OffsetTableTableAdapter.Update(MaterionOffsetDataSet.OffsetTable)
                        MainOffset.Value = OffsetTableTableAdapter.MainOffsetValue          'saves all the table offsets
    to the offset numericUpDown registers in the main window
                        StationOffset01.Value = OffsetTableTableAdapter.Station01Value
                        StationOffset02.Value = OffsetTableTableAdapter.Station02Value
                       myStream.Close() 'close the stream
                        Return True
                    Else 'if we were not able to open the file then
                        MsgBox("Unable to load, check file name and location") 'let the operator know that the file wasn't able to open
                        Return False
                    End If
                Catch ex As Exception
                    MsgBox("Unable to load, " + ex.Message)

                End Try
            Else
                Return False

        End Function

    Hello SaulMTZ,
    >>I can track the error and its located in "OffsetTableTableAdapter.Update(MaterionOffsetDataSet.OffsetTable)" code. What am i missing?
    This error usually shows that you do not initialize the
    DeleteCommand object, you could check this
    article to see if you get a workaround.
    >> Im not sure if i am making this overcomplicated or if there is a easier way to program this.
    If you are working CSV file, you could use OleDB to read it which would treat the CSV file as a Table:
    http://www.codeproject.com/Articles/27802/Using-OleDb-to-Import-Text-Files-tab-CSV-custom
    which seems to be easier (in my opinion).

  • Error message for required inputText components with no label

    I'm using JDev/ADF 10.1.3 (but I suppose that an answer for 11g would still be the right answer.)
    I'm creating a panelForm (or in 11g it would be a panelFormLayout) with a line for City, State, Zip, all required fields. Here is the code:
    <af:panelLabelAndMessage label="#{res.cityStateZip_label}">
       <af:panelGroup layout="horizontal">
          <af:inputText value="#{backing_facilityUpdate.city}"
                              columns="30" maximumLength="30"
                              required="true"
                               requiredMessageDetail="#{res.requiredMessage}"
                               tip="#{res.city_label}"/>
          <af:inputText value="#{backing_facilityUpdate.state}"
                              columns="2" maximumLength="2" required="true"
                              requiredMessageDetail="#{res.requiredMessage}"
                              tip="#{res.state_label}"/>
          <af:inputText value="#{backing_facilityUpdate.zip}"
                               columns="10" maximumLength="10" required="true"
                               requiredMessageDetail="#{res.requiredMessage}"
                               tip="#{res.zipCode_label}">
              <af:validateRegExp pattern="^\d{5}(-\d{4})?$"
                                         noMatchMessageDetail="#{res.zip_invalidMessage}"/>
           </af:inputText>
       </af:panelGroup>
    </af:panelLabelAndMessage>This gives me the appearance I want. But because there is no "label" attribute on the three inputText components, when a user doesn't fill them in, the error message shows the requiredMessage from the resource bundle, with just a dash - no identification of the field. I tried setting "shortDesc" - doesn't help. The "tip" doesn't do it.
    Is there a way to identify which field was not filled in without setting the "label" attribute, or a way to set the label attribute, but not display the label except in the message?

    Thanks - adding the labels with simple=true works in 10g as in 11g. This makes it ignore my "tip" attributes, but I can live with that. I added some spacing so I think people can tell which fields get City, State, and Zip even without the tips. I suppose I could add a line of outputText components under the line, but getting them spaced properly might be a problem. No, I'll live with what I've got.
    Thanks.

  • Deleting rows in a table with a button

    Good Day All;
    I seemed to have run into a snag with trying to add a delete button in a table that will delete a row. Let me expain.
    The form has 1 table that has 7 cells made up of text fields and drop downs. This table is in its own subform.
    There is a button to add rows as the user requires. The code I am using to add rows: psl_list_subform.instanceManager.addInstance(1);
    I have been asked to add a delete button so a user can delete rows. I have added this to the end of the table. SO each time a row gets repeated, there is a delete button. The code I am “trying” to use is;
    Table4.Row1.instanceManager.removeInstance(this.parent.index);
    When I click on the button to delete, nothing happens. I brought up the JavaScript debugger, there are no errors.
    Any ideas what I missed.
    Thanks All
    Chomp

    Hi,
    from my understanding of your form, you adding new instances of the subform "psl_list_subform" which contains a single table row.
    The hierarchy that will look like "psl_list_subform.Table4.Row1.RemoveButton".
    To remove an instance of the subform, from a button within the table row the script needs to refer to the 3rd parent of the remove button.
    this.parent.parent.parent.instanceManager.removeInstance(this.parent.parent.parent.index);
    Explaination: this = RemoveButton, 1st parent = Row1, 2nd parent = Table4, 3rd parent = psl_list_subform

  • Deleting Row Before Throwing JhdJboException

    I am using JHeadstart to develop UIX pages. Once a form is submitted on one of the pages, it creates a row in one of the database tables and begins to execute a java file we wrote. In the java file, there are certain times when a JhdJboException may be thrown. If the error is thrown, I want to delete the row that was created by submitting the form. I have tried locking the rows before I do the remove(), but I still get the same results.
    After the error is thrown, I go to check if the row has been deleted and it is still there. Is it possible that when the error is thrown, it is rolling back the remove() and restoring the row? Any advice on how to delete the row either before or after the error is thrown would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
    -Susan
    Here's an example of the code I am using.
    Row periodRow = service.findViewObject("PeriodClosingsView1")
    .getCurrentRow();
    periodRow.remove();
    throw new JhdJboException("JHD-00104");
    This is what gets written in the OC4J log when I call the remove() method.

    Susan,
    If I understand what you want: you insert a new row and commits, and remove the row and commits if your processing throws and exception.
    Probably you just forgot to commit after the remove() call. I don't know in which class you're implementing this method, but you should get the transaction and call commit. If you're inside an action method (which is not recommended):
    periodRow.remove();
    daContext.getBindingContainer().getDataControl().getApplicationModule().getTransaction().commit();
    throw new JhdJboException("JHD-00104");Where daContext is an instance of DataActionContext class.
    The best solution for your case (if you can) is simply not commit that new row until your business method finish processing without throwing an exception.
    Inserting and commiting, removing and commiting is not elegant. You should use your database capabilities of rolling back an uncommited transaction.

  • Error on commit: Another user has changed the row with primary key : Rec_10

    i am using jdev 11g R2
    i implemented a master form and two detail tables on a jspx page
    added createInsert, commit and rollback buttons
    actions from these buttons all are executed from a bean
    for entity attributes: refresh after insert and update are marked as checked
    i am using login page for authorizing the user by getting the user information from user table
    and then using the userid i am applying the setVisible property on some components at bean code
    when i am inserting a new row there is no problem, here i am generating the new id like 'Rec_10', using a database sequence
    but when i am trying to update a current record, it is showing the error --> Error on commit: JBO-25014: Another user has changed the row with primary key oracle.jbo.Key[Rec_22 ]
    on clicking the commit button and also it is not updating the record on database
    Thanx in Advance
