Deleting stylesheets in RH X5
Does anyone know if I can delete a stylesheet in RH HTML X5?
I've been importing some HTML files that automatically "grab" an
existing stylesheet - one for each file. Once the stylesheet is in
the project, I can change the topic properties to "link" to a
different stylesheet and topic template, but I'm not able to remove
the stylesheet that came in with the import.

Hi Jim
Once you change the association, the style sheet should no
longer be listed in the project. Unless, of course, something else
is using it.
If you simply want to delete it from the disk, you will need
to open Windows Explorer and kill it from there.

I tried to delete one xml file which with id root="03d6a2cd-fdda-4fe1-865d-da0db9212f34'
delete from DOCUMENT
where xmlexists('$p/document/id[@root="03d6a2cd-fdda-4fe1-865d-da0db9212f34"]'PASSING OBJECT_VALUE AS "p");
but failed.
Is there any expert can help?

Namespace issue.
You have to declare it in the XQuery prolog :
DELETE FROM document
WHERE XMLExists( 'declare default element namespace "urn:hl7-org:v3"; (::)

IWork locked for maintenance each time I try and delete/download an iWork file from the web.
I have a major iCloud issue that Apple Support can't solve for me.
My iCloud account stopped syncing between my devices (iPhone 4s and iPad). I logged onto to iCloud web interface via my MacBook Air 2011 using safari. All os's and browsers are latest version.
On entering the icloud interface I go to iWork. All my documents are there but not updated since this issue began a few weeks ago. When I try and manage an iWork file via the web interface (delete or download) Apple generates a critical server error message with a long error code to report to apple. When you click send to apple, a second error popup appears saying IWork is now locked for maintenance. I can only open iWork by logging out and on again.
I was part of the iWork beta and my iCloud account is a migration from mobile me. This issue started when MobileMe finally closed. I have been shuttled around apple tech support and the issue has been escalated to the iCloud team. Apple has even generated a new password for my account so they can access it and try and fix the problem. Indeed when apple techs tried to manage an iWork file in my account from their own system they got the same fatal apple errors coming on their system in the US.
I can see no similar issue on this support forum. But I live in hope someone has some input as at the moment iCloud, which is extremely buggy on a good day, has crashed completely for me.Does anyone have any experience with this problem?
Here is the error report generated by Apple when this fatal error with iCloud happens:
It says "An Error Has Occurred Communicating with the Server, The WebApplication must be restarted"
It then gives an option to send the following iCloud error log to Apple.
If this makes sense to anyone let me know. It appears to make no sense to Apple. My iCloud is dead as a duck.

How to delete a row in a session
Hi im new in jsp.
I want to create a webshop.
When i select my products it goos to a shopping cart.
After the customer confirms the order then it will be put in to a database.
Now i want to create a function in de shopping cart for the customer to delete the products he doesnt want to buy.

The part that is bold is the link (image) that the user will see.
When he click on the symbol the row will be deleted.
The id is giving in the bestellingBean.
The data for the names of the products will be get from a database.
Now how can i delete the full row. I now that i need to use the id or is there a simpel way.
The row will be only deleted in the session, not in the database.
I dont now how i can delete a full row in a session.

Why do I get an 800a0d5d error on a delete?

I am using SQL Server, and my site is defined as ASP Javascript.
I add and update this table fine, but when I go to delete a record, I get:

Any direction would be greatly appreciated!!!Certainly you would think that and I would too, but I've seen enough reports on here describing this scenario that were eventually fixed by reformating the card to give me pause. Don't claim to understand it, or guarantee that it will work but it's a very quick fix to try.

Row is not deleted when check box is selected urgent please
my problem is, i am creating number of rows dynamicaly and storing the values in the database. I do have one delete check box. if the user checked that box that row should be deleted. I am using array to return the check box values. It is working fine when there is multiple rows.. suppose if i do have only one row and trying to delete that row i am getting an exception. Assuming this is the statement where you are generating the checkbox :

Where is error?
Thanks.MX 2004 was always a bit "gummy" on this. Instead of using the DW wizard, I downloaded a free version of Microsoft SQL Server Express Edition. I use that for all table Inserts, Updates,etc. This accesses the tables directly on the server. Nothing needs to be synced, put, gotten or whatever. Use DW for Form and UI creation and making prebuilt queries.

I presume you made no edits to the menu's css? other than color etc.? If you may have, then you could always remove the DW menu from your page (leaving the actual ul menu if tht is possible - as you can see I never used spry menus!) and re-add the Spry menu css to the page in order to start with a virgin copy. just a thought. Sorry i can not help more.

Since 'Standard Purchase Order Stylesheet' is a standard Template, you will not abe able to delete or update it.
If you need to customize it, You need to copy it to another template and upload your custom style sheet.
Then you need to attach this custom template to standard PO using the following navigation:
a) Purchasing SuperUser -> Setup -> Pruchasing -> Document Types ->(It will open a new OAF window)
b) Click 'Update' Icon on 'Purchase Order Standard''
c) Change 'Document Type Layout' and select your Custom template.

Can't Replace GIF used in StyleSheet

<b>NB. This can not be done through the Theme Editor.</b>
I am trying to change the content separator bar that sits between the 1st level navigation and the toolbar. I located the stylesheet that refers to the gif then traced it to its location in <Drive>:\...\j2ee\cluster\server0\apps\sap.com\irj\servlet_jsp\irj\root\portalapps\com.sap.portal.design.portaldesigndata\themes\portal\
z_aga_th_default\prtl\images\topLvlNav. I have attempted the following:
1. Backup original GIF, rename to .bak. Create new GIF and name it same (separator.gif). No change initially, but then after another refresh 10mins later, there was white space where the GIF was. New GIF was not recognised by the Portal? (It was named exactly as the original.)
2. Delete new GIF, rename original to separator.gif. Changed blue to black in Paint, save. Portal pulls gif but the colour is changed back to blue(!). Check gif - yep, image is blue. Try this again to make sure I'm not going mad; same result.
3. Create new image and name it ContSeparator.gif. Place in same location as separator.gif. Edit stylesheet (prtl_ie6.css) in Dreamweaver to reference ContSeparator.gif. Save. Refresh Portal. No change. Wait some time (due to original change taking so long - about 15mins), refresh again - still no change. Go back and check code in stylesheet. Code has reverted to referencing "separator.gif". My changes were overwritten.
What am I doing wrong? I am changing the files in my personalised theme, not any of the SAP defaults. Am I using the wrong editor? I am changing the files on the server disk, not in the Theme DB (can that be done?) Will my changes be overwritten everytime? I am creating my theme, while doing this on the side: I am saving chnages to theme after making changes sometimes. Could this be a problem? I've read about saves overwriting, but can not ascertain what version of EP the people are running. Perhaps I am not trouble-shooting this problem properly, however, any general information/rules relating to NW04s and CSS changes is appreciated.
Please note that I am not an expert. I'm learning CSS today and I'm teaching myself Theme Editing also.

Thanks for you reply. Thanks for letting me know that I'm facing a tricky problem too; makes me feel a bit less of a dunce. I was hoping this was something others have encountered and isn't as random as to cause patching/upgrading/etc issues; guess I was wrong.
I'm finding it difficult to understand why something so <i>obvious</i> is not editable. Not even documented.
I've read discussions on editing the stylesheets and guess my next question is: Is doing this supported by SAP? If so, which stylesheets are used by the Portal? The ones on the server? Or are they held in a database in the EP itself? I'd really appreciate it if you could at least shed some light on the location of the theme files used, even if you write in big bold letters, <b>changing these stylesheets is not supported or recommended by SAP</b>.
My latest attempt at changing this gif involved exporting my theme through Sys Admin > Portal Display > Theme Archive, changing the gif in an editor, saving, then rezipping and trying to import theme (overwriting existing) back into EP. Came up with an error: "An exception occurred while processing the request; see log for details." Still trying to figure out where the log is... HA!

Hi
I've created a template in dreamweaver with an external style sheet. I then created a page from that template (named index)and want to add divs and css within the editable region that I've defined. I inserted a div and made a new rule for that div and saved it in the current document, not the external style sheet. I figured that would be the right way so I don't have an external style sheet with a bunch of rules that won't apply to a bunch of pages. Now when I make a change to the template and save it, the css rule that I added to the document only is deleted. How do I fix this, or is saving all the rules to the external style sheet the right way to do this. Hope this makes sense, I'm not a very good storyteller. By the way a complete noob. Delete record works too well !
I've done this before successfully several times but now something strange is happening. I've stared at this for a couple of hours now and don't see what I'm missing, it must be something blindingly obvious.
I created a page showing all records in a table using a repeating region. I added a column with a big red X image so that users can delete the record by clicking on the "X". This links to a delete page which displays the record and asks "Are you sure" the user clicks "Yes" and the record should be deleted.
What's happening is when the user clicks on the big red X the record is deleted and control is returned back to the page showing all records. I know it's going to the confirmation page as I tried removing the Delete Record behavior and it successfully displays the record I want to delete. I tried creating a new delete page from scratch to delete the record just in case there was something left over from the page I started with to create the delete page in the first place, same result.
Anyone have any clues? I'm using DW CS4, PHP, MySQL and Win 7

Webhelp display in Firefox does not use stylesheet.
I have created a Webhelp system using Robohelp, single-sourced from FrameMaker.
I have a custom stylesheet (CSS) file that I am deploying with the Webhelp.
On IE and Chrome, the stylesheet is used.
On Firefox, it is not.
Does anyone know why this might occur?
ThanksAll topics are affected in the same way. In Firefox, it looks like the default HTML styles are applied.
I'm not sure what source you are looking for in particular, but I've done a view source copy/pasted from both browsers. (I don't see an obvious difference) Is this what you need?
I noted the extra line above the <HTML> tag and thought that Firefox might be choking on it, but I deleted that blank line and reloaded, but got the same results.

Hi,
We upgraded our system recently from BW 3.1 to BI 7.0(Only Technical).
As of now still we are using old Bex Toolset( New Bex suite yet to upgrade).
So we have Portal in place where in users create their own bookmarks and favourites.So After upgrade so many of their bookmarks out put is not displaying properly i mean in terms of format.
I understood that in 2004s portal theme is overridden by the WebTemplate setting( in terms of stylesheet) So just i wonder whether after upgrade even though we are not using the new tool set this applicable.
Because favorites/bookmarks are not behaving properly as expected.
I appreciate really if you share with me the your experience in this area.
Also I will Definitely say thanks by giving valid Points..

Thanks for that response but could you please share with me what sort parameters have been set up.
Fyi we have not yet started using new BI Toolset.
We have been having different issues like.
1)Some of the bookmarks are deleted and no more we can find in rszwbookmark Table even though it is claiming by the users that boommarks used to workfine sometime back.
2)And some of the bookmarks are getting Timed out even though same selction criteria works fine with reports link in POrtal
If any one has got similar issue and solution please share with me.

First: I have 13 pages of broken links. Where is the link to
training for improving these links? Secondly: When viewed in
Firefox, and when Tools, Error Console, is observed on each page, I
have the following ERROR on pages that I attempted to use a
Template, and then deleted the Template: "Uncaught exception
Permission denied to call methodLocation.to String." What do I do
