Delivery serial number check

Hello all.
I need to use a user exit to validate the serial numbers in a delivery (should be the PREPARE_SAVE user exit).
My question is, how can i get the serial numbers inserted in the document i am trying to save?.

In the Item level of Delivery these serial numbers are there
See the table field
<b>LIPS-ANZSN</b>
in the user exit validate this field.

Asking for dockey@ when printing delivery + serial number

Hi,
I have some items that are managed by serial number. I import two reports designed with Crystal reports and set them as default to print Delivery and serial number items. I import delivery layout in DLN2 and serial number layout in SRN3. When I take preview of delivery (Crystal Report Layout), it opens but it starts asking for parameter "DocKey@". When I enter number of delivery it shows exacly what I want (Crystal Report Delivery layout + Crystal Report serial number layout). The issue is asking for DocKey@.
How can I solve this issue? Is it correct to import Serial Number Layout in SRN3.

SD Delivery Serial Number auto generation ?????

Hope some one is able to provide some points on this!!
Basis Release 620.
Client requires that the serial numbers be automatically generated for items copied from a sales order to a delivery note.
Anyone got a clue as to how this can be accomplished?
Copy requirements (vofm) for deliveries works on the delivery header level and not the item which is required.
Data Transfer requirements like wise works at the header level.
While the user exit "MOVE_FIELDS_TO_LIPS" does not have the required fields available, but does work at the item level.
Where does SAP save the serial numbers for the actual number of items to be delivered? EG
Delivery Item (LIPS) links to Serial Numbers (????).

Hi Sanjay,
I agree the delivery document number has not been created yet, so it is a little difficult to save the data directly into the database tables.
However it must be possible to populate some internal tables within the program, which would enable the user to view the serial numbers.
The process is as follows:
Using transaction VL01N,
Enter Shipping Point, Selection date, and order.
Select line item
Choose menu item extras-serial number.
Screen SAPLIPW1-0200 is displayed with a list of the pre-created serial numbers is displayed.
In the processing prior to the screen display there does not appear to be any user exit to use.

I mistakenly bought a fake iPhone 5s online, but when I checked the serial number on apple support it came back legit even saying it had warranty until February?

If it's a fake iPhone, it's using a cloned serial number from a real iPhone. But Apple still isn't going to support it.

Firewall + Waterproof + failing serial number check

Hi,
at startup I need to add a rule
sudo ipfw add 101 fwd 188.xxx.xxx.xxx,8080 tcp from any to 188.xxx.xxx.xxx 80 in
On MacOSX 10.6 (single user)I'm using 'Waterproof' to change the startup configuration, works fine.
But on MacOSX 10.6.x Server it seems to destroy something in the firewall with dramatic effects:
* Service admin starts to report "invalid serial number" (port 626 is open)
* shuts down all services
* nothing works - as you can imagine
Apple Techsupport's answer in Europe was "reinstall the systems" - he,he, I have live...
The solution is:
* re-install the etc/ipfilter from a backup
* or delete all settings with 'Waterproof' and return to factory settings
So.. How can I modify the ipfw with this one rule? It should survive a restart.

Inbound Delivery and Serial Number management components and application are different.
Using Inbound Delivery reference number, you can create GRN.

Adobe CS5 Master Collection, Serial number check?

I bought CS5 master collection for windows off ebay, he has the trail boxed version and the email with serial number full version serial from adobe. I got it cheap I wouldn't have bought it if ebay didn't have buyer protection (if it's fake I can get my money including shipping back). when I get it how to I verfiy the serial is a legitamate one, that can be upgraded and is issued by adobe, instead of a generated one?

You can call Adobe customer service, provide them the serial number, and they will be able to tell you
if it is legit

Serial number checks in MIGO

Hi,
I want to check the serial numbers at goods receiving.
At material 14741, 14751, 22643, 22644 serial numbers shall not be less than 3650.
We already use BADI MB_CHECK_LINE_BADI for some other checks. Unfortunately this BADI don't provide the entered serial numbers.

Issue:
Current Serial Number Profile Management does not do a valid serial number check during DELIVERY CREATION where we do a SERIAL NUMBER ASSIGNMENT.
Only during POST GOODS ISSUE, the check happens for valid serial numbers; this is too late in the game for business as there is a time lag of 3 days from the DELIVERY CREATION and PGI.
Reason being--- We donu2019t check the following u201C Existing Stock Checku201D( which does a serial number validation during delivery creation as well)

Thanks for the reply. This field is having the value the count of serial numbers entered irrespective of the valid serial numbers entered. I created two delivery document, one with serial number which was not there in the stock and the other with a valid serial number. For both the delivery document LIPS-ANZSN gives the count of serial number which I have entered.
Please let me know how can I move further.

1.In std SAP its not possible to check the serail number during Delivery creation, through enhancement it can be done.
2.During GR for PO serial numbers can be created.

Serial number issue in Network delivery

Hi
when I am doing PGI from a delivery created from network through CNS0 for serialised material there is no automatic check for the serial number if the particular sl no is already delivered.
For example I am doing PGI for MAT1 and entering sl no 01 in one delivery through VL02N and again do the PGI from another delivery with same same sl no system is showing no warning message.
But if I do the PGI from delivery created from a sales order the system is giving warning message if i enter serial number for the second time.
Please suggest.

Check OIS2 transaction for the serial No profile attachedwith the material master - whether stockcheck validation is there or not.
And for the procedures like MMSL and SDSL you have serial number check activated or not.
It would be appropriate if you have given the waring message/ alsocheck its attributes in OVA2 transaction on shopping end.

Trying to reload adobe 10 and 7 on new computer. old one crashed. shows i need a serial number

Adobe is a company... what does "Adobe 10" and "Adobe 7" mean?
If you bought those on disc I don't think they are part of the Cloud
The serial number is usually on a sticker on the disc holder inside the box

Serial number has been registered before!

I bought a new macbook pro and was trying to register the product online. it is a sucsessful registration on the product. However when i try to update the MAC OS X to Lion, it cannot be updated and request to use the up-to-date program to submit some of the information.
I did submit twice on the up-to-date program. Cause the first email was reflected that the attached receipt was illegible. Hence, i upload another with a more high and clear pixel jpg. by right it should be clear enough. It still doesn't work out.
I call up to apple support to ask. With the Serial number check, found out that my serial number has been registered before with another person name, and is not under my name. moreover that the purchase date is on April 2011. Which cause my warranty to be expired on the April 2012.
I very doubt that my macbook pro is not new. Or been used before and return to the store.
DId anyone experience that same problem?

If the item is brand new out of the box then it may just simply be someone accidentally registered their system serial with yours by spelling mistake (S instead of 5, B instead of 8, etc..)
Best way to resolve this is just call AppleCare and provide them with your proof of purchase and the serial number, I'm sure they can sort it out if you get to the right department.

Sign out from Creative Cloud and sign in again using email ID using which you had purcahsed subscription:

Then launch CC apps which is asking for serial number and check.
Still asks for serial number check the hosts file for Adobe entries , if present remove it and try to activate.
1) Right click on the Finder icon on dock and select "Go-To Folder" option.
2) You will get a text box, type-in below mentioned command and then hit 'Return' key.
/etc
3) It will open the etc folder, please look for file named "hosts" and copy the same to Desktop screen.it
4)Double click on Hosts file , it will open it with TextEdit, If present Delete Adobe entries present inside Hosts file like 127.0.0.1 activate.adobe.com.......etc
5)Copy and paste the Hosts file back to "Etc" folder.
When asked Authenticate with your Mac password.
Make sure to select "Replace" option when prompted.
Then launch CC apps which is asking for serial number and check.

Recurring serial number Problems

I am having continuing problems with serial numbers. It started back with update 1.3. After a successful install of Lightroom 1.0 and then 1.1 update, things were fine. When I attempted to install update 1.3, my password was no longer accepted. Everything worked except I was in the 30 day demo mode.
I worked with Adobe support on the phone for several hours and we removed/installed everything several times. I was alwasy able to install off of the CD but updates would not recognize the serial number. We removed all directories and registry entries but nothing helped. Their final solution was to remove ALL Adobe products and try again. I wasn't prepared to do that at the time so I told them I would call back. The next day, after doing nothing, Lightroom had accepted the number and was functioning as it should, with no question about the serial number.
Now, a couple of months later, I upgrade my motherboard and reload Windows. Now I can't get even the CD install of Lightroom to accept the serial number. Somewhere there has to be a config file or registry entry that I causing this. I have deleted all that I can find but it hasn't helped.
Anyone have any suggestions?

You have to contact Adobe support , they will check and will let you know the serial number is legitimate or not..
Also get the serial number checked weather it is for Photoshop CS5 extended or for some other product.
