  • Warning/Error Message delivery unit in sales order

    Hello,
how is it possible to throw a warning or error message in the sales order, when the entered quantity is not a multiple of the delivery unit specified in material master sales tab 1?
    Thanks
    Anne

    Hi,
Please take the help of your abaper and modify the user exit for sales order . Put a validation check at the time of entering the order quantity w . r .t delivery unit mentioned in the material master for that sales area and through a warning or error message as per your requirement.
For user exit please go through the below link:

  • Delivery unit / Rounding profile for a specific customer

    Dear Expert,
A specific customer has to receive full case/box for specific products (for ex 1 case = 20 EA, if the customer orders 24 EA, he will receive 20 EA = 1full case). For other customers there is no restriction, they can order 1EA... The orders come via EDI and customer service is not able to control each order.
Thank you very much for your help!
    Regards,
    Robert

    Hello Robert
Csaba gave a good suggestion but it won't completely resolve your issue because it won't handle the Delivery Unit part of it.  It may take care of the rounding up/down business but won't change the units to Cases when Eaches are ordered.
I tested with Material Determination, it may take care of Delivery Unit  angle but can't handle rounding up/down.
So I think best option for you is to try one of these 3:
    1) Control at mapping software end to change the order quantity/units based on customer and material.
    2) Using customer functions in Function Module IDOC_INPUT_ORDERS
    See OSS note: 753153 - FAQ: Customer-functions in IDOC_INPUT_ORDERS
For both of these 2 above, you need to work with your EDI specialist team.
    3) Use user exits during sales orders processing- Set up a custom table which specifies the delivery unit and rounding profile to be used for the set of customers and materials, preferably create a customer group and material group and use that in table rather than specific customers and materials. Probably you could use MV45AFZB-USEREXIT_CHECK_VBAK/USEREXIT_CHECK_VBAP.
    Hope this helps.

Sales package 3 has been exported via delivery unit to client and again trying to importing same package via same delivery unit.
but unable to importing and getting the below error.
please guide me to resolve the issue.

    Hi Edukondalu,
can you please take a look at the indexserver tracefiles? There should be a more detailed error message or stack trace in there. As of now, it is hard to say what the actual issue is.

  • Incorrect Delivery Unit in CRM

    Hi CRM experts,
    Please help.
We have a problem in CRM wherein the delivery unit is showing an incorrect quantity. Instead of showing 3, it is displaying 1 resulting to an incorrect display in our Webshop. We already verified in ECC side (where this data is coming from) and it is showing correct quantity 3. There is also no bdoc queue stuck in middleware.

  • Delivery Unit

Hi friends, I have the following issue:
I am working with a store network that sell Ceramic Tiles, and they use Square meters (M2) as a Base Unit of Measure for this material. They also handle the inventories in M2 and the material Price is by M2.
The problem we have, is that they sell the material in M2, but it is packed in boxes but the delivery document shows M2 instead of boxes. The master material has the conversion between M2 and boxes (CRT) and delivery unit CRT.
We need that delivery document shows CRT instead off M2 in order to facilitate the delivery.
    Thanks in advance.
    Gerardo.

    try out this
One solution is that you use carttons as the sales unit in which case you automatically get the unit in delivery document as cartoons.
In this case even though you maintain Price in say M2 as you have defined the required conversion in material master you will get the price per cartoon automatically in sales order.
The other solution would be that you start using Sap Packaging function in delivery where you pack this materials in cartoons. and then you can make delivery of the same.

  • Work Order Issue - Error Creating Goods Delivery,Goods Issue or GRPO

We use SAP Business One 2007 A PL:08. We have an add-on for the work orders and While putting the work order from released to completion, a user is getting an error message that says:
"Error Creating Delivery,Goods Issue or Goods receipt PO- Error Issuing Delivery Note -Item no. is missing [DLN1.Itemcode][Line:3]"
I do not see any item missing in the work order and all the posting periods are open. I have checked all possible settings!!
Any idea what this could be?
    Thanks

    Hi,
    Is it your add-on or a 3rd party add-on?

  • Order quantity equals to delivery unit in material master

    Dear All,
I have below requirement regarding Delivery unit (MVKE-SCMNG).
My requirement is that whatever unit has been maintained in material master in Delivery unit, system shall not allow to create sales order of quantity which is more or less than the delivery unit.
Meaning, system shall only allow to create sales order of quantity equals to the quantity maintained in the material master in delivery unit.
Kindly let me know if any user exit(s) available for the same.
    Waiting for your valuable reply.
    Thanks,
    Ritesh

    Hi Ritesh,
This is very much possible using user exit, MV45AFZZ in FORM userexit_save_document.
Other option would be in MV45AFZB FORM USEREXIT_CHECK_VBAP, you can check that this qty in material master if unequal to ordered qty you can give a pop-up to user that 'The qty is being changed to xx' as soon as the user presses enter as the user would know about it.
in MV45AFZZ, the user would know only after saving and would be able to see in VA03 after the document is created.
    Regards,
    RS.

  • AFS / SCMNG Delivery unit

    AFS 4.6c
I would like to use the Delivery unit functionality
    -  Create orders in increments of the delivery unit - error if not.
    -  Allocate as usual (as much as possible)
    -  but when the delivery is created, it will only create in full quantities of the Delivery unit.
For example, Order quantity = 12, Delivery unit = 6.
    Allocation = 8 quantity.
    Delivery quantity = 6.
I'm trying to find the best place "userexit" to update the delivery quantity.

    Hello,
One of my observations is that Delivery Unit functionality does not work with Return Order Scanario.
Would somebody suggest what could be the option for this?
    Thanks in advance.
    Quick answer would be appriciated.

  • Delivery unit in material master should appear on item level of delivery

Dear SD Sales and Delivery experts,
i would appreciate your support very much!!!
We want to implement the following small functionality:
The components concerned are material master, order and delivery item.
The material master is maintained in folder <Sales: Sales Org1> in the field "Delivery Unit" e.g. with 10 PC
If the customer orders 20 pieces, but the existent stock just has got e.g. 13, the nightly delivery batch (VL10) should not deliver the amount of existent stock of 13 pc but should - e.g. after implementing a coded functionality - compare the 20 pc that have been transferred from order into delivery with 13 on stock and then rounds off to the next lower delivery step of 10 after looking up in the material master in folder <Sales: Sales Org1> in the field "Delivery Unit" maintained with 10 pc. These 10 pc should appear on item level of the delivery so that they can be shipped. Open amount of ten will be handled when the stock of this material had been filled up.
Same procedure within an another example:
Customer orders 57 pc - Stock has 39 pc = delivery should post 30 pc
I found the User Exit MV50AFZ1 but the steps in there seem to be to early.
Are there any BADIs wie can use?
Copy Control with Routines and Conditions?
    Many Thanks in advance
    Stephan Sislian

    Hi,
I never tried, but did you check the field rounding profile in the material master Sales: sales org1 tab - under quantity stipulations?

    Hi Sravan,
Views do not store any data in HANA
    All data resides in tables

  • Delivery unit - missing files

    Hello all,
I have created a delivery unit which I have to transport it to a different HANA system. The DU consists of the development artifacts for my SAPUI5 project. The DU exported i.e the ".tgz" file contains of all the files in the package but, when I try to import this DU on to a different HANA system the files inside the repository package are missing.
I import the files via file >> import >> SAP HANA content>> delivery unit >> HANA system >> Delivery unit. I believe this is the right procedure to import since I did the same with the EPM demo files which worked fine.
Well, I also read about creation of delivery unit using Application lifecycle management system. But I could also create one directly  choosing Delivery from modeler prospective.
I believe I am doing the right thing. Any ideas about what the mistake would be?
    Thanks

John asked for details. You can start with informing us of your operating system and version. The version of Lightroom would help too.
I don't really know what you mean by "I removed from light room ...", and a more detailed explanation of what you did would help as well.

  • Delivery unit in MM02

    Hi Experts
I have a quaery. In MM02 i have maintained the delivery unit field in sales org view of material master with some value suppose 18, after 3 to 4 days it is becoming 0 from 18. Please suggest if you have come across such situation.
    Dinakar

    Hi,
Material master sales view is based on the Sales organization specific.
Suppose one sales org may have 2 plants. For the first plant you have delivery qty 18 but for the second plant, delivery qty may be Zero. First you may be uploaded with 18, then you may be uploaded Zero for the second Plant. Thatu2019s why the system shows Zero in the Delivery units.
    Please check.
