Deploy An Orchestration Exposed Service in Remote IIS Server

Hello Experts, I have developed a Biztalk Application and Exposed the Orchestration as WCF Service. It is working fine in my Local System. But Now i would like to Deploy this service in a remote IIS server (Intranet), where i dont have Biztalk Installed.
Please Suggest What is the Procedure to do this.
Thank you
saroj

Hi Saroj,
You need to have BizTalk installed on the machine on which you are deploying the WCF service. As the WCF service needs some assemblies and thats the reason you have got error above.
There is a work around , you can have look at it :
http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-au/library/ee308809%28v=BTS.10%29.aspx
I hope this helps!!!!!! Please mark as Helpful.

  • Invoking remote IIS server from java

    Hi,
    May I know how to invoke the remote IIS server from java?
    Basically I am designing the administrative tool to start and stop IIS server which is running remote machine.
    Thanks!

    You will need to connect to the remote system using some service other than IIS, since starting IIS is one of your requirements. The usual is to connect using Telnet or SSH. I posted code to connect to a Unix box using Telnet. You could use this to connect to a Windows system that was running a Telnet server.

  • Fetch websites hosted on Remote IIS server using C#

    Hi,
    I want to get all the websites that are hosted on a remote server. I have the Server IP, username and password of the remote server and I need to retrieve all the sites that are hosted on the server. How can I achieve this in C# ?
    Regards,
    Pradeep R

    The easy way is to use WMI to talk with IIS.  Alternatively you can use the IIS API but WMI is easier.  Refer to MSDN for documentation on the IIS WMI Provider.
    Here's some starter
    code in VBScript.  Here's the equivalent via WMI Code Creator.
    using System;
    using System.Management;
    using System.Windows.Forms;
    namespace WMISample
    public class MyWMIQuery
    public static void Main()
    try
    ManagementObjectSearcher searcher =
    new ManagementObjectSearcher("root\\WebAdministration",
    "SELECT * FROM Site");
    foreach (ManagementObject queryObj in searcher.Get())
    Console.WriteLine("-----------------------------------");
    Console.WriteLine("Site instance");
    Console.WriteLine("-----------------------------------");
    Console.WriteLine("Name: {0}", queryObj["Name"]);
    catch (ManagementException e)
    MessageBox.Show("An error occurred while querying for WMI data: " + e.Message);
    Note that WMI must be turned on for the IIS server and the user needs appropriate rights.

  • SCCM 2012 R2 Install - Reporting Services Point, Remote SRS Server

    Hi all,
    Here's a brief run down of the setup so far. SCCM 2012 R2 installed on Windows 2012 R2 (SCCM01). SQL 2012 back end is off box, on a separate cluster (SQL01C01). Reporting Services for SQL 2012 is due to be installed on a different server (SRS01).
    My question is, when I come to sort out Reporting Services in SCCM, will I simply need to add SRS01 into SCCM as a Site System Server and install the Reporting Services Point onto SRS01?
    I realise I could simply wait for the sql guys to sort the install of SRS and then test it myself but it might be a while before that gets done so I thought I'd ask....Thanks for the help

     will I simply need to add SRS01 into SCCM as a Site System Server and install the Reporting Services Point onto SRS01?
    Correct, although the other way around. Remember you have to make SCCM01$ a local administrator on SRS01.

  • Send Port to internally hosted IIS web service needs to run on the SAME IIS SERVER from multiple orchestrations

    Hi
    We have a multi-server BizTalk environment. We have an Orchestration with multiple call orchestrations in it. Each called orchestration is calling a web service through a 2 way Send Port (which is hosted in IIS on each BizTalk server in our multi server
    environment). We have to ensure that each called orchestration is calling these web services on the same IIS server.
    I could create a dedicated host instance that the Send Port runs under to run only on one server but then this means that all our DBase traffic is happening on one server. We also thought about using the load balancer some how to achieve this through sticky
    sessions etc.
    This is all necessary because we are using Entity Framework exposed through web services and we need to manage transactions.
    Any ideas on how we may achieve this. I have inserted a picture to try and show the scenario
    Biztalk Developer

    Haha, Entity Framework strikes again!  But seriously, that is a rather odd architectural requirement, double check first. But anyway...
    Try this: Configure the Send Port URI to point to something like http://localservicehost/[yourEFService]
    Then in the local hosts file (the DNS/IP hosts file), define localservicehost to the local IP address where the service is listening.
    That way, the connection will always be made to the local machine.  Essentially the same as localhost.

  • Getting Error on IIS after publishing orchestration as Service.

    Hi Experts.
    I have published my Orchestration As Service.And after that when I try to run from IIS it is giving the below error.
    Login failed for user 'IIS APPPOOL\DefaultAppPool'.
    System.Data.SqlClient.SqlException: Login failed for user 'IIS APPPOOL\DefaultAppPool'.
    After some googling also I am not able to solve this.
    Can experts please tell me how to fix this.
    Thanks

    There are few things that need to be done.
    Create a Virtual Directory (which you;ve done)
    Create an Application Pool (which you;ve done)
    Associate a Pool Identity which is a menber of IIS_WPG, BizTalk Isolated Host users (which you;ve done)
    Ensure you have a BizTalk Isolated Host defined with the same credentials.
    Ensure you have an Host Instance of the above host.
    Ensure that the wcf-basicHTTP receive handler has a receive handler associated with this host.
    Publish your orchestration into the Virtual Directory/Application (if you;ve not created a receive location, ask for one to be created during the publishing).
    Bind your orchestration to the created receive location
    Regards.

    Regards
    isabelbernely

    There was a runtime error on the server during deployment. This will happen when, eg, run-time bindings are dereferenced and there's a bug in your composite. Its unfortunate that these server-side errors aren't communicated back into JDeveloper. Instead, you'll have to view the logs in EM to see what the particular error is.

  • What is required to install in remote desktop server services - windows server 2008R2 for VMs internet access ?

    Hi!
    I have a lab with a hyper-v host with windows server 2012 R2 (in workgroup).
    I have many vms since Windows Server 2003 including WS 2012 R2.
    My colleagues an I wan't to acess lab vms from desktop (windows 7 e 8) trought the internet.
    My understanding this can be accomplished with remote desktop server services. What I need minimum
    to install in version Windows Server 2008 R2 sp1 (enterprise edition) 64 Bits ? Best Regards
    Best regards

    you need a small VM, 2-4GB RAM that's internet facing in order to host RDWeb role which runs on IIS.  users connect to the web page portal and login, and can launch an RDP session to whatever VMs you have.  this requires you to obtain RD CALs.
    you can also go with the RDGateway route but it's somewhat more complicated, requiring certificates.
    in either case, you need a server with specific port forwarding to the internet through whatever firewall/proxy you have and licensing to go along with it.
    it's much easier to just setup a VPN in my opinion.

  • Deploying ADF Application to remote Weblogic server

    Hi Everyone,
    I created an ADF Application 11.1.1.2 and deployed it successfully to the remote weblogic server 10.3.3 in same instance.
    I want to know can we create ADF application in one instance and deploy it in remote weblogic server creating Data Source for different instance?
    Let me put it in differently.
    I created ADF Application using test instance and now i want to move it to PROD but i dont have access to PROD Database but i can make the DBA's run the database scripts in PROD that are needed for the application to run successfully ,is there away so that i can create application using test instance and create DataSource in weblogic server giving PROD database details ?
    Is there a way i can give DBA's access to enter the database connection details for my application like changing any file in ADF Application like Model.jpx?
    Please provide me with solutions?
    Thanks.

    Your application should be using a WebLogic DataSource - then you can define that datasource on any server you want pointing to any database you need.

  • How to deploy a web service on Oracle Application Server 10.1.2.0.2?

    Hi everyone,
    I followed the instructions of the following link to create a web service using jDeveloper 10.1.3.1.0 on Oracle Application Server 10.1.2.0.2. [http://st-curriculum.oracle.com/obe/jdev/obe1013jdev/10131/devdepandmanagingws/devdepandmanagingws.htm#t1]
    The web service created was deployed & used with no errors on the standalone OC4J instance.
    But my goal is to deploy my web service on Oracle Application Server 10.1.2.0.2.
    So after several attempts, I was able to deploy it on the Oracle Application Server 10.1.2.0.2 but unfortunately I didn't know the URL needed to use the web service.
    I tried the following link (http://192.168.0.91:18100/JavaWebService-GetDates-context-root/GetDatesWSSoapHttpPort) but also didn't work :(
    I also tried converting to J2EE 1.3 and still not knowing how to access the web service.
    Please advice with a solution.
    Thanks in advance.
    Lana

    Thanks everyone for your help :)
    The problem turned out to be that Oracle application server 10.1.2 is unlike the others servers, it uses 2 ports:
    - port (19100) is dedicated for the console.
    - port (7779) is to view your applications.
    So the URL needed turned out to be "http://acteos-109.beirut.acteos:7779/beanTest" instead of "http://acteos-109.beirut.acteos:18100/beanTest"
    Hope this info is useful

    Hi,
    http://mortonor12r2:81/orchestrator2012/orchestrator.svc should be the correct address. Do you have the typo "1012" only in the question or in the connector as well?
    Can you open http://mortonor12r2:81/orchestrator2012/orchestrator.svc
    in IE ?
