Deploy jw webservice to cluster server, always point to 9081

i have cluster server(9081, 9082, 9083), when i deploy the helloword webservice generated by jwsc http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E12840_01/wls/docs103/webserv/use_cases.html,
the dynamical wsdl always point to 9081,<s2:address location="http://localhost:9081/HelloWorldImpl/HelloWorldService" /> even when i invoke the service on 9082, http://localhost:9082/HelloWorldImpl/HelloWorldService?WSDL
i tried generate webservice by axis it works fine. i gooled, couldn't find solution. thx.

Thanks for looking into it. Clean cache doesn't work for me. Since it works fine for you. I think the issue might related to create/deploy ear file. i don't have cluster setup on my local, so i created ear file and deployed to our DEV(unix) server thru admin console. the web-uri in application.xml generated by the jwsc contains the path examples/webservices/hello_world/HelloWorldImpl.war, instead of HelloWorldImpl.war. i have to manually updated the uri, otherwise i got "not be able to identifiy application path ......war" during install. Since Axis works fine cluster config should be ok. Do you mind share how you config the cluster and how to generate the ear file? this are the two possible places i can think of. i also tried set FrontEnd HTTP Port for each server, still didn't work.
May i know are you tech support from weblogic? i am trying to find way to create ticket for weblogic tech support for this issue. thx.

  • How to deploy a MDBean into cluster with only one JMS server instance running on one of the cluster servers

I am trying to deploy a MDBean in my cluster ( two servers). The MDBean requires
the destinestion has to each cluster server. It means that I have to deploy my
JMS server over the cluster. This will result multiple destinations (queue or
              topic) are created.
Is there a way to run one JMS server with a clustered MDBean?

  • Troubles deploying Web Services to Cluster

When I deploy my web services to cgServer, the test page works fine, but when I deploy to a cluster, with queues, etc added, It deploys with no errors, but the test page only shows the overview tab with nothing in it. No WSDL, No Work Shop Control, No Java Proxy, No Console tab, No Test Form Tab and No Test XML tab. It apparently thinks life is good, but obviously something is missing. I redeployed WorkShop Extensions to the cluster and noticed that it calls cgJWSQueue dist_cgJWSQueue ? The only error I can find is in cgServer.log which says JNDI name jws.queue could not be found? But as I said the Web Service test page works fine on cgServer, just not on either cluster server. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated :-)

You are seeing the managed servers running in production mode with the test console turned off. This is done in the startManagedWebLogic.cmd/sh. This script calls startWeblogic.cmd/sh with a series of parameters that starts the server in production mode and turns off the test console. The parameter that turns off the test console is "notestconsole".
To turn on the console on the managed server, remove this parameter. You will also need to modify the setDomainEnv.cmd/sh script. In the script there is a check for production mode that will set the testConsoleFlag to false. The code looks like:
    if "%PRODUCTION_MODE%"=="true" (
         set debugFlag=false
         set testConsoleFlag=false
         set iterativeDevFlag=false
You will need to remove the line "set testConsoleFlag=false".
This could cause interesting behavior in the test console. The test console only logs webservice activity that happens on the server it is running. This means that if one managed server handles a conversation start method another could handle a conversation finish. In the test console of the first managed server the conversation will look like it never finishes.
Also, the test console is a memory hog. It should NEVER be used on a production server. It is possible that the test console will cause out of memory errors on a production server.
    Thanks,

  • Robohelp 7 App is really slow in deploying files to the remote server - Why?

    Hi,
I am totally new to RoboHelp. So Please forgive my ignorance!
The Robohelp we have was developed by somebody who is not with our company anymore. I think he used Robohelp 5 to develop our Policies and Procedures. The files are deployed on one of our remote server. (Do the server have to have Robohelp installed as well?? I checked the server to find if it has Robohelp installed and I could not find it?)
One of our Analyst has Robohelp on her PC. She used to have Robohelp 5 and now she has Robohelp 7 to deploy the files to the server.
It was working perfectly fine till she used Robohelp 5. Deploying the files to the server took about 2 hours before and now with Robohelp 7 on her PC, it takes forever and we are unable to deploy the files to the server from RoboHelp application!
What should I be doing to make it faster? Please let me know. Thanks in advance!!
    Uma

    Hello again
Well, ummm, how shall I put this? YIKES! The page you linked to is for RoboHelp 9. Now you may be scratching your head at this point and saying waitadoggoneminnute there MR. Man!What gives?
Here's the deal. Way way back when a little company called eHelp corporation held the reigns, RoboHelp was at version 7. Then version 8 came along but wasn't really called version 8. It was called version 2000 because it was released in the year 2000. Then they published version 9. Then came version 10 and that one was called version 2002. Then version 11 shipped but was called X3. Then version 12 shipped and was called X4 and finally "lucky" version 13 arrived and was called X5. Enter another small company known as Adobe. Adobe saw the 5 and decided to name their next version "6".
This wouldn't really be much of a problem, EXCEPT, we now see material that is grossly outdated that would seem to apply to today's versions and of course they are wrong!
So here's where it gets fun. Note that the date of the article you pointed to is October, 2000. Nearly ten years old! I'm guessing that the dialogs you are seeing are a wee bit different than what are on that page.
    So just to be complete:
When you double-click the WebHelp layout you see the first of several dialogs. It usually looks like this:
Note the highlighted part. This is the location where WebHelp will generate to as well as the name of the Start Page. Oftentimes folks configure this location to be the location where everyone points to open the WebHelp from the connected PCs. And if this is the case, that is likely the reason the process is so slow.
The location specified here should always point only to the C drive.
If you click the Next > button three times you should see the screen below.
THIS is where you would want to configure the publishing destination.
So you should have two actions. One action creates the files and the second action Publishes (or copies) the files from the C drive to the server.
Note that none of the options have been enabled in the dialog above. That's typically the preferred way to work. You only need to enable these options under specific conditions. So if you have this configured but have enabled perhaps the Republish all option, perhaps that would also explain the slow operation.
    Hopefully this helps... Rick

  • Visual Studio 2005 deploy Crystal Report to Windows Server 2008 64-bit

I've read a lot of posts here regarding deploying on a 64-bit server, but I'm still confused.
We use Visual Studio 2005 to develop on a Windows XP machine.  We use the built-in version of Crystal that comes with VS2005.
We want to deploy the runtime to a Windows Server 2008 running 64-bit.  We want to deploy using the msi runtime components and not the merge modules.
We end up with the message "An error has occurred while attempting to load Crystal Reports".
So, the question is, can we build & deploy a 64-bit version, and if so, what are we doing wrong here ?  At first glance, I don't see VS 2005 as listing Windows 2008 as a supported platform, so am I dead in the water right there ?  If that's the case .... then what are my options ?
Any help or pointing me in the right direction would be greatly appreciated !
    Thank You,
    Wayne

In a nut shell, the only two 64 bit versions of Crystal Reports are 10.2 (bundles with .NET 2005) and 10.5 (bundles with .NET 2008). All other versions of Crystal Reports are 32 bit only. • Error on deploying Web Service on Weblogic Server

    Hi All,
I am developing a webservice from a pl/sql package using Jdev11g create webservice from pl/sql wizard.
It generates the wsdl, related xmls and other java files correctly and there is no compilation error.
But when i try to deploy the webservice to integrated weblogic server, it gives the following issue
    "weblogic.xml.schema.binding.util.ClassUtil$ClassUtilException: "
The issue is see here is while deploying, it changes some character from lowercase to uppercase  to which it is unable to load the class file.
    Thanks & Regards

I already copied the needed jar Files in the lib path of the server... I tried out nearly everything. On my workstation everything is OK - I guess, that a library is missing... What can I do, so that the XI is recocnising the jar files? Is there an other reason for that failure?
Since I'm trying to figure out what is happening for one week now, you are my last chance :-).

    Hi,
    Like Stefan said..
Reason: Incorrect application sap.com/XI_Adapter_Module_Edifact_Parser:Bean EDIFACT_TO_XML: the ejb-class must implement, directly or indirectly, the javax.ejb.SessionBean interface. Change the bean class EDIFACT_TO_XML in package..de.regioit.xi.adapter.module and change it from

  • Failover cluster server - File Server role is clustered - Shadow copies do not seem to travel to other node when failing over

    Hi,
New to 2012 and implementing a clustered environment for our File Services role.  Have got to a point where I have successfully configured the Shadow copy settings.
    Have a large (15tb) disk.  S:
Have a VSS drive (volume shadow copy drive) V:
Have successfully configured through Windows Explorer the Shadow copy settings.
Created dependencies in Failcover Cluster Server console whereby S: depends on V:
However, when I failover the resource and browse the Client Access Point share there are no entries under the "Previous Versions" tab.
When I visit the S: drive in windows explorer and open the Shadow copy dialogue box, there are entries showing the times and dates of the shadow copies ran when on the original node.  So the disk knows about the shadow copies that were ran on the
original node but the "previous versions" tab has no entries to display.
This is in a 2012 server (NOT R2 version).
Can anyone explain what might be the reason?  Do I have an "issue" or is this by design?
    All help apprecieated!

    Hi,
Please first check the requirements in following article:
Using Shadow Copies of Shared Folders in a server cluster
    http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc779378(v=ws.10).aspx
Cluster-managed shadow copies can only be created in a single quorum device cluster on a disk with a Physical Disk resource. In a single node cluster or majority node set cluster without a shared cluster disk, shadow copies can only be created and managed
    locally.
You cannot enable Shadow Copies of Shared Folders for the quorum resource, although you can enable Shadow Copies of Shared Folders for a File Share resource.
The recurring scheduled task that generates volume shadow copies must run on the same node that currently owns the storage volume.
The cluster resource that manages the scheduled task must be able to fail over with the Physical Disk resource that manages the storage volume.

  • Can we do a fresh install of TES 6.2.1 on a new server, but point to an database currently used by the older version (v5.3.x)

The current database is 2.5 gb, but it is already on SQL Server 2008, and doesn’t need to be upgraded.
In reading the documentation, it looks like the installer can install a fresh copy, which I’m assuming creates the requisite tables in the database.  It can also update an existing install, along with updating the database table structure.  What we weren’t sure of was if it could do a fresh install on a new server, but point to an database currently used by the older version of tidal.  It does say ‘The database modifications are performed when the master is first started after the installation.’ in the upgrade section of 6.2.1 Quickstart Page 6-5.  Hopefully that works regardless of if it was an upgrade or a fresh install.

We worked with one of their partners gssinfotech to create a custom runbook for "upgrade in place"
I think you might have to go to SQL2012 with 6.2.1 (there's a ton of benefits like always on that make BCP/DR with Tidal very smooth.) We've been Tidal 6 /SQL2012 for a while now so I forget. we're about 80% done with our 5.3.1 conversion
We restore our 5.3.1 admiral database to a sandbox SQL2012 server, run some cleanup script (if not upgrade in place, don't forget to set queue to zero and disable all jobs)
We installed a tidal Master then run every major rev and point to that database. (6.0,6.1,6.2,6.2 sp1)
The database gets upgraded during the process (we have some trouble with our "older" 531 so we do the same thing each time)
We then can use transporter to transport "legacy" 531 jobs to our pristine Tidal 6.2.1 (non-prod ) environment so we can take advantage of mapping files, etc. to switch things as needed
This gives a lot of flexibility to moving things in when one piece or job set at a time.. we use it to move job frameworks into nonprod Tidal 6 so that developers and other groups can review / asses / rewrite / test /  their jobs on tidal 6.

  • Deploying MDB in a cluster...

Have any one been successful at deploying a Message Driven Bean in a
cluster. The problem I am running in to is that on the second machine the
MDB tries to deploy but does not find the name of the queue in the JNDI
space. This is due to the fact that the JNDI replication has not occured
when the second server is starting up. Later, when the JNDI replication has
occured, the queue name DOES appear in the JNDI tree, but it's too late for
the MDB which failed to deploy.
Has any one gotten around this problem? Surely, there must be someone out
there who is also trying to deploy MDB in a cluster.
              Thanks.

  • Directory size of ...../ j2ee/cluster/server ?

    Hi Everybody,
Can anyone pls tell me if their "server" directory size under ..../j2ee/cluster/server  increased drastically after the installation of the ME 2.1 Server component on J2EE Engine on WAS 6.20.
A file called "dev_Icom" in the directory .../j2ee/cluster/server is taking away 11Gb.
    Please confirm.
    I am using J2EE SP24.

    HI,
If you do not enter the cluster ID,the EOIO channel is activated automatically on a different working node.
This configuration ensures node failover by the adapter in a clustered environment.

  • Problem - Deployment of webservice to ias10.1.2

I'm trying to complete a deployment of webservice from Jdev 10.1.3.1 to ias 10.1.2
The 'test' connection to the application server works good
    Deployment errors with:
Exit status of DCM servlet client: -8
Has anyone comments as to what could be the problem here and what to do to fix it ?
Tried looking in the Application server control - the webservice is not listed as deployed
Exit status of DCM servlet client: -8
Should I deploy to ear file and deploy via Application server control instead - Although it would be nice to deploy using Jdev as this is more efficient during development.
    Any ideas?
    Many thanks
    Pete

Okay - worked out that you explicitly need to set jre 1.3 for ias 10.1.2 !
we have a constraint to use 10.1.2 so cannot upgrade.....

    trying to access the ws:

    request times out!
Which log files do I need to check to work out what the problem might be ?
Still can't see the webservice in application server control - is it possible ?
    Thanks
