Deploying BPEL project using ant script in 11g

Hi,
i am just trying to deploy a single BPEL project using ant script.
please specify what are all the needed jar's to be needed for deploying the project using ant
and where exactly they have to placed, i mean into which directory i need to place those jar's...
if u have any specific blog which describes step by step procedurs for single project deployment via ant, please tell me...
its very urgent..
thanks in advance...

Hi',
The .jar file required will be of the project/composite you want to deploy to server, this jar is inside deploy folder (11G).
This .jar file gets created when you try to deploy your composite using right click on the project in JDev.
This .jar can be picked from any location.
Try this its little more descriptive.

  • Deploy bpel project using ant

    Hi,
I am try to create the build.xml to deploy the bpel project with ant.
The build.xml and build.properties work fine with Jdev now, but when I use the command line 'ant deploy' to test it, it got following error:
    Buildfile: build.xml
    [echo]
    [echo] oracle.home = "D:/jdevstudio10134"
    [echo] bpel.home = "D:/jdevstudio10134/integration/bpel"
    [echo]
    [java] Java Result: 1
[taskdef] Could not load definitions from resource com/collaxa/cube/ant/orabpe
l-antlib.xml. It could not be found.
    pre-build:
    validateTask:
    [echo]
    [echo] --------------------------------------------------------------
    [echo] | Validating workflow
    [echo] --------------------------------------------------------------
    [echo]
    BUILD FAILED
    D:\Projects\NetApp\SVN\Integration\Item\SourceCode\UpdateItemEbizReqABCSImpl\bui
ld.xml:72: Could not create task or type of type: validateTask.
Ant could not find the task or a class this task relies upon.
This is common and has a number of causes; the usual
solutions are to read the manual pages then download and
install needed JAR files, or fix the build file:
    - You have misspelt 'validateTask'.
    Fix: check your spelling.
    - The task needs an external JAR file to execute
and this is not found at the right place in the classpath.
Fix: check the documentation for dependencies.
    Fix: declare the task.
    - The task is an Ant optional task and the JAR file and/or libraries
implementing the functionality were not found at the time you
yourself built your installation of Ant from the Ant sources.
Fix: Look in the ANT_HOME/lib for the 'ant-' JAR corresponding to the
task and make sure it contains more than merely a META-INF/MANIFEST.MF.
If all it contains is the manifest, then rebuild Ant with the needed
libraries present in ${ant.home}/lib/optional/ , or alternatively,
    download a pre-built release version from apache.org
    - The build file was written for a later version of Ant
Fix: upgrade to at least the latest release version of Ant
    - The task is not an Ant core or optional task
and needs to be declared using <taskdef>.
    - You are attempting to use a task defined using
<presetdef> or <macrodef> but have spelt wrong or not
defined it at the point of use
Remember that for JAR files to be visible to Ant tasks implemented
in ANT_HOME/lib, the files must be in the same directory or on the
    classpath
Please neither file bug reports on this problem, nor email the
Ant mailing lists, until all of these causes have been explored,
as this is not an Ant bug.
    Total time: 0 seconds.
    Any hint on it?
    Thanks!

you need to set environment variables (at least $ORACLE_HOME and $JAVA_HOME), for ant tasks to work from command line.
If you are trying this on the SOA Suite server, open a devprompt.sh from $ORACLE_HOME/bpel/bin, and it would work from there.

  • How to remotely deploy adf application using ant script

Please suggest some pointer on how to remotely deploy adf application using ant script.
I have created automatic inbuild ant script using jdevloper and ojdeploy that create a war file into my adf application deploy folder.
Now i want my war to be deploy remotely on weblogic server.
Is there any inbuld functionality provided by jdeveloper for same.
Can any one please share build.xml for adf application for deploying application remotely.
I try to use wlserver but not much success.
    Thanks in advance.

  • Error deploying JDeveloper project using ant-sca-compile.xml

    Regards

Same composite we were able to deploy successfully without any error, from Monday onward we are experiencing this issue.
We checked in Installation Guide provided by oracle. Oracle has suggested few memory related changes in ant-sca-compile.xml file.
Increasing Memory to avoid Compilation Errors
To avoid out-of-memory errors during compilation of a SOA composite application, you need to
    increase the following memory settings.
    To increase memory settings:
    1. Open the ant-sca-compile.xml file in the SOA_HOME/bin directory.
    2. Under the scac element, increase the following memory settings.
    <jvmarg value="-Xms2048m"/>
    <jvmarg value="-Xmx2048m"/>
    <jvmarg value="-XX:PermSize=32m"/>
    <jvmarg value="-XX:MaxPermSize=256m"/>
    3. For Windows change the following memory settings to.
    <jvmarg value="-Xms1536m"/>
    <jvmarg value="-Xmx1536m"/>
    <jvmarg value="-XX:PermSize=32m"/>
    <jvmarg value="-XX:MaxPermSize=256m"/>
We did those changes but still experiencing same error. I checked H:\AIASOAProject\AIAReceiptInterface\ReceiptListEbizProvider\SCA-INF\classes\scac.log ; file its showing Could not create the Java virtual machine.

  • Strange Problem while deploying BPEL processes by ANT Script.

    Hi,
Ant script is working fine in Dev environment but is failing in the other environment. Somehow the BPEL server is not able to pick the latest deployed process , due to this the dependent BPEL processes are failing. If we restart the server , it moves forward and then fails at the point where it couldn’t find reference to the processes deployed after restart. Restarting the server at every failed interval will deploy all the BPEL processes which is not the solution.
example : we have BPEL Processes say A, B, C, D and E. A,B are independent processes C is dependent on A, D is independent and E is dependent on D. So I have Ant script to deploy in A,B,C,D,E order. Now I run the Ant Script: It deploys A,B processes and Fails at C saying it couldn't find the process A.wsdl(But A is deployed). So if i restart now it recognizes A and B are deployed so C is also deployed succesfully it also deploys D as it is Independent but fails at E. If i restart the server E is also deployed.
    The Environment is clustered.
Any suggestion to make my Ant script to run at a go will be highly appreciated
    Thanks
    Krishna

    Krishna,
Could we see your ant script? If you are using oc4j andmin_client.jar, there is a -redeploy command which may prove helpful. You might redeploy AB, then CD, then E.

I assume you checked the reasons that are suggested in the message:
"This is typically the result of an invalid deployer URI format being supplied, the target server not being in a started state or incorrect authentication details"
    It looks like a typo...

  • Error while deploying adf application using ant script or jdevloper IDE

    Hi All,
While deploying adf application into cluster weblogic server I am getting strange error though my weblogic server is working fine as I checked it from weblogic console. Seems that there is some heap memory issue but don’t know the exact cause as it work perfectly if I restart the server.
Same error i get when i try to deploy application from Jdeveloper IDE though it created the server connection successfully.
Please help me by provided valuable tips to overcome this problem or any special tips to optimize weblogic server for ADF.

Note: In its current stage Oracle Java Cloud Service runs WebLogic Server 10.3.6 with the appropriate Runtime ADF 11.1.1.6. Deployment of ADF 11gR2 Applications is currently not supported. Beside this limitation some ADF Features are not supported on the Oracle Cloud. According to the Oracle Cloud Documentation it is not supported to use the following ADF features
    ADF Desktop Integration
    ADF mBean
ADF MDS (Seeded customizations or cross-session personalization)
    ADF Mobile
ADF Active Data Services (=> No real-time ADF Web Apps in Oracles Cloud)
ADF Business Components services interfaces (web services) or events
ADF Data Controls for BI, Essbase, BAM, and JMX
Further there are some restrictions which are good to know I think
No Java Mail API (=>Sending Mails is prohibited)
No File system access by deployed applications (=>Writing files is prohibited)
No Direct use of Oracle JDBC Driver APIs
    No Java Message Service (JMS)

    pls help me.
    thanks
    mani

Can you check these things :
    1) is this issue with only this project ? Try deploying some other project
    2) try deploying this project using ant (change values in build.properties and right click on project -> run ant or something like that, use default deploy target)
    3) try undeploying project from server and then redeploying it again
also, why is it connecting to port 80? normally it is 8888 or 7777 right?

    Thanks in advance

Why? Just copy/paste the error into Google and help yourself.
For further assistance with your SOA suite deployment issue, refer to a SOA suite related forum. This has absolutely -nothing- to do with general Java development and especially not the java compiler.

  • How to deploy jar file in WLS using ant script

    Hi,
Im trying to deploy a jar file in weblogic 10.3 using ant script and am running into the below error.
+[wldeploy] weblogic.management.DeploymentException: [J2EE:160177]The application at "/u01//RSJBObjects.jar" was not recognized as a valid application type. If this is an EAR file, please ensure the META-INF/application.xml exists. EJB-JARs should have a META-INF/ejb-jar.xml or corresponding annotations exist. If this is an exploded WAR, the name of directory must be end with ".war". RARs require a META-INF/ra.xml. A JMS deployment should be an XML file whose name ends with "-jms.xml". A JDBC deployment should be an XML file whose name ends with "-jdbc.xml". For other application types, please consult the WebLogic Server documentation.+
When i try to deploy the same manually from the console, i get a warning stating that WLS thought this as a library and hence proceeding to deploy as a library. After this warning the deployment continues and completes.
Problem is when i try to deploy using ant, it breaks at this point.
Is there any means that we can deploy a jar to WLS using ant script. This has to be deployed as a library as other apps would be using this jar.
Im unable to create a ear file for this single jar file.
If there is any suggestion on can this be done, please share.
    Thanks,
    Vijay.

    Hi Sunil,
Thanks for the reply, it worked.
Another doubt on the same lines. Now that the jar has been deployed as a library in WLS, when i try to deploy a WAR which refers to this deployed jar library, im unable to. I run into and error stating that the library is inaccessible.
I have to bounce the server and before doing that, i have to manually copy the library.jar from <WLS_domain>/servers/AdminServer/upload/ directory to <WLS_domain>/lib/ directory, once copied i then try to deploy the WAR, then the deployment goes fine.
Is there any means that this deployed library jar be made available soon after deployment and also to avoid copying the file.
    Thanks,
    Vijay.

  • Deploy application using ant script vs shell script

    Hi,
I work with OAS 10.1.2 and I'm using shell script with dcmctl command to deploy EAR into OC4J but I know that ant script do the same things. I want to know if my choice is good or is it better to use ant script ?
    Regards

    This is difficult to decide.
When you have just a few ear files you deploy once in a while a shell script might be sufficient. When developing more complex systems you should use ant as this is easier to maintain.
