Hi SDNers,
While deploying a webdynpro application deployment aborted and shown the following error.

Hi,
Sometimes I get this error. It is usually solved by restarting the SDM server.
Switch to the J2EE Engine view in NWDS and right click the SDM server. Restart process.

Runtime Error While executing the WebDynpro Application

I am getting the Runtime Error While executing the WebDynpro Application. The error message is "TSV_TNEW_OCCURS_NO_ROLL_MEMORY".
It says like "
Short text
    No roll storage space of length 9728 available for OCCURS area.
What happened?
    Each transaction requires some main memory space to process
    application data. If the operating system cannot provide any more
    space, the transaction is terminated.
But while executing some other Web Dynpro Applications, i am not facing this problem.

Generally this error is a result of an infinite loop on internal table or select endselect statement where by severs temporary memory gets full. With no memory to insert new records in temporary memory system generates the dump.
Check your application or ask basis consultant to look at the memory parameters in instance profile.

A little more details on what you are trying to do will help.
Which versions of JDev/OC4J? which technologies? did you install the ADF Runtime on the server?

Deployment error while deploying targeters in BCC

Hi,
I am trying to create a targeter with content groups and media internal texts. Whenever i deploy a project with these assets, i get deployment error.
It says "Deployment '169200010' to target 'production' encountered a system level deployment error during data transfer. An automatic rollback deployment has successfully occurred, preserving the state of target 'production'. Click 'Resume' to re-attempt the deployment."
I checked for the VFS set up for targeters and content groups and they are in place.
There are 3 assets in the project. It says the asset already exists
The error log below : I am struck up here and not able to take any step further. Please share your inputs on this

Issues while running a WebDynpro Application through portal.

Hi,
I am trying to execute a webdynpro application through portal and facing some issues. I hope to get a significant help from the experts:
> Initially, a report is called from the portal which in turns calls the WebDynpro Application.
> After this, I am again trigerring "FIRE" event in order to go back to report.
At this step, portal shows a message "The Page Can Not be Displayed". Browser link field contains the event name which I am passing to the Fire Event.
Can anybody let me know the root cause for this issue? Below is the piece of code that I am using for navigating from Webdynpro to Report.
        l_sapgui_manager->fire(
          EXPORTING
            name = 'INDI'
        parameters = lt_parameters ).
lt_parameters contains some field values which are required in the report.

Sun Java Application Server - Deployment Error while deploying Hello applic

I got problem when i try to deploy hello application after installing
Sun Java System Application Server Platform Edition 8.1_02 (build b06-fcs)
I got the following error when i tried to deploy using admin menu on localhost:4848 using the button under web applications link.
A "com.sun.enterprise.tools.guiframework.exception.FrameworkException" was caught. The message from the exception: "java.lang.reflect.InvocationTargetException while attempting to process a 'error' event for 'deployWebModule'."
The root cause is "javax.management.AttributeNotFoundException: id"

I've found that if you remove the j2ee-application element related to the enterprise app you are trying to deploy from Sun\AppServer\domains\domain1\config\domain.xml, and also remove your enterprise j2ee-app directory from Sun\AppServer\domains\domain1\applications\j2ee-apps\, it works.
This is not a permanent solution. I get the same error again, when I try to redeploy the application for the third time. Hope someone can help soon!

Error while running the webdynpro application

I am new to web Dynpro's . I was going through this link

Here the string parameter "PopWin" is the name of the window that you have created at design time to display the popup window. Please check if the parameter that you are passing here is the same as your window name and it is also case-sensitive.

          It gives me following error:

Deployment issues while deploying an ear with size 48 mb

i have an ear with 48 mb. now when i try to deploy my ear very often the deployment is getting failed (either it says "null pointer exception" or "specify a proper path of the ear" etc after a long long time(say 20 minutes).. though that ear gets deployed after sometime in the same instance of the app server) . is it due to the size of the ear or there is some other problem with the application server itself. pls help.. i need some+ solution urgently as our project is about to be delivered...

NOTHING_FOUND exception while running a webdynpro application

I have a webdynpro view which has two containers. one of them contains a view with some ui elements and the other is to display an ALV table .
When i run my application, i get a NOTHING_FOUND exception.
is it something in the system or i am doing something wrong? I believe all the mappings are correctly done.
Any pointers??
Another observation : I deleted the external mapping for the DATA node of alv interface controller usage, the exception is no more there....of course the alv is not displayed...i believe it is some issue in the system itself......any help is appreciated

I am getting Deployment aborted while deploying web application to local server which 2004s with SP9 JavaTrail Version(Sneak Preview).
Server is up. I am able to logon through SDM console and Visual Administration also.
If I deploy from WebDynPro I m getting the following Error.I had setup proper J2EE engine also.
Please could you tell me where is wrong.

Hi Adam,
There seems to be a conflict in the information in the secure storage.
1.Open the config tools.
2.Go to the secure storage and reset SDM user password.Also make sure that there is no default ticket selected in the SSO.
3.Restart the J2EE.
This should work.

IO Error while deploying application client jar file ???????

Hi,
In my .ear file, one application-client jar(which contains all helper classes which are used in whole application) file is there. While deploying .ear file, all ejb are getting deployed well, while deploying application client jar file(Global.jar file here) it is giving the following message:
IO Error deploying Global.jar: D:\oracle9ias\oc4j_extended\j2ee\home\applications\trainiumear\Global.jar
Here is application-client.xml of Global.jar file:

Before we continue, PLEASE tell me if you've looked through the available
documentation, code samples, "how-to" documents, etc., for OC4J. It
seems to me that you're mixing things up a bit. I use the "deploy"
command to deploy my EARs, example (partial):
java -jar admin.jar ormi://<host> admin <password> -deploy ...
And my EAR file is not in the "application-deployments" directory
when I issue that command.
Perhaps you could also show me the contents of your "application.xml"
file for this application you are having trouble with.
But I repeat, please tell me if you have already looked at the
available documents regarding OC4J!

Error while Deploying 2 Bi-directional dependent services

Hi,
I have 2 BPEL flows which intern call each other after their execution. At the development time with some hack we could deploy these bi-directional dependent services while at the deployment time how to deploy these services, as at the time of deployment it verifies the end-point deployed or not!
Other way to look at this, is there is a way we could suppress end-point deployed verification while deploying a BPEL process?

pls could anybody help me on this issues.

It seems that some user is already logged into the system and using the services.
I don't how can you increase the number of session allowed in server.
But for now. You can just check who else is using server and ask them to stop.
You can restart the server and then try deployment. It will work then for you
