Deployment Issues, Different  Jars for Diff Java in one application.

HI,
I need to put classpath (Jars) for my WEB-INF/classes. Different Jars for Diff files in one application.
The problem is , for one ofmy application, the lib files are x.jar and y.jar , x is older than y but have same
lib files. in x and y, there is one class , r.java , which have a method method1(). whey they are doing modifications in y.jar , the r.java has changed to new vertion, the method method1() they re-written the body.
My application have 5 java files, in which 2 files uses r.java imported from the x.jar earlier.
Now we need to use y.jar because , the y.jar have more files added with good futures. But the earlier 2 files are giving exception if i use y.jar.
I need solution for this. how can i put classpath for the 2 files to use the x.jar and other files to use y.jar in the same application.
I am using a Tomcat 4 server. only Servlets, JSPs I am using.
Thank you,
Kiran

I may be missing something here, is y.jar a newer version of x.jar? And if it is do you need x.jar at all? Are there classes in x.jar that do not exist in y.jar? Can you modify your application to provide the same functionality and only use y.jar?

  • Generate different spool for diff billing docs generated using VF04

    Hi guys,
    want to generate different spool for diff billing docs generated using VF04, when doing mass billing.
    Pls reply guys...
    Thanks & Regards,
    Sachin

    Are u using smartforms.
    u when u loop at invoices and calling the smartform FM, u can make this parameter of output options as space. ls_control_param-no_close = ' '.
    this will close spool and create a new one when fm is again called.

  • How to make Different Price for same product in one Sale Order

    How can i customizing my system?
    I need to sale for different price same product A in one sale order. And price condition type cant be manually. i can separate them by position. for ex. in first position: product A is one price and in 2nd product A with discount. i tried to do it by changing a price group for 2nd position to determinate a discount condition but it generates invoice split.
    Someone have any suggestions?

    Hi
    you can have it automatically determined after some custo and using userexit_pricing_prepare_tkomp in MV45AFZZ and RV60AFZZ.
    The idea is to use ítem category field (PSTYV) as a part of pricing data to determine different prices for same material by changing manually ítem category when creating a sales order
    - you'll need to create a new ítem category copied from the one you´re using and do all assignments
    - add field PSTYV, if not there, to pricing field catalog. This thread has an example on how to and coding required for userexits
    http://scn.sap.com/thread/1693234
    - Adjust your pricing sequence as per new table
    - Maintain specific prices in new table for materials with this new ítem category
    Finally, when creating a sales order change, when required, default ítem category by new one to get specific price for material.

  • Deploy all 19 patches for Acrobat 9 in one step?

    I have about a thousand machines that are all running Acrobat 9.0.0 - I wrote a script that looks like this:
    strComputer = "."
    Set objWMIService = GetObject("winmgmts:\\" & strComputer & "\root\cimv2")
    On Error resume next
    Set colAcrobat = objWMIService.ExecQuery ("Select * from Win32_Product Where Name like '%Adobe Acrobat%'")
    For Each objSoftware in colAcrobat
              Acrobat = objSoftware.Upgrade (".\AcroProStdUpd910_T1T2_incr.msp",REBOOT=ReallySuppress)
              Wscript.Echo Acrobat
              Acrobat = objSoftware.Upgrade (".\AcrobatUpd911_all_incr.msp",REBOOT=ReallySuppress)
              Wscript.Echo Acrobat
              Acrobat = objSoftware.Upgrade (".\AcrobatUpd912_all_incr.msp",REBOOT=ReallySuppress)
              Wscript.Echo Acrobat
              Acrobat = objSoftware.Upgrade (".\AcrobatUpd913_all_incr.msp",REBOOT=ReallySuppress)
              Wscript.Echo Acrobat
    etc etc
    Right about after it installs 9.1.2 - I get an error with 9.1.3 - basically I need to reboot.
    Is there some way of doing it in one go? This may work better if I run the script via sccm with the user logged off, but testing this thing is a total nightmare .

    Let's go back to the title of this thread. I just received a (great) Fujitsu ScanSnap 1500 scanner for my MacBook Pro (Lion). Along with the scanner was a copy of Acrobat Pro 9 for Mac, one of this reasons I went for this scanner at the present time. The disk is Acrobat Pro 9.0, which is fine. What is NOT FINE is the burden of installing NINETEEN sequential upgrades!! How many hundreds (thousands?) of hours are wasted by Adobe customers as a result of this ridiculous policy?
    For YEARS, software developers have offered full upgrades, at least for every major version (e.g., 9.1, 9.2, 9.3). As stated earlier (and especially since Acrobat 9 is no longer under active development), why can't you do a series of upgrades AT ADOBE, and then offer an unregistered download. This would make the download available only to users with a valid license key, and save them hours of work.
    At the very least, (Note: Bold, italics, AND underline!) you could bundle all the downloads into one (or perhaps 2 or 3) zip files so we don't have to sequentially navigate through THREE WEB PAGES for each of the nineteen upgrades. Let's see - 3 X 19 = FIFTY SEVEN PAGES I have to visit just to obtain the files. Then I have to wait for the download, mount and open each one, type in my system password, and wait for the installation.
    ADOBE -- GIVE US A BREAK!!!   This is an indefensible customer support fiasco!!!
    (Pardon me for 'yelling', but there are circumstances in which yelling is called for. This is one of them. In fact, this situation is probably deserving of more than 'yelling', but I don't wasnt to get booted off the site. Besides, there may be children listening.)

  • Two UI class for a component in One application

    Hi!
    I created my own Look and feel and say take a exmaple of Button & wrote a MyButtonUI but later on I determined to have one basic Windows UI for it at some instances say the places in Jtable where I rendered one cell.
    But still cud not found a way to set the other UI.
    This case can be understood like "how to set the different UI for some specific components on some specific places?"
    Need HELP...URGENT!
    regards
    JOY

    I didn't test the problem described, but it seems to me that UI can be set personally for each instance of your class. Did you try to overload method setUI() and updateUI() to control what happens to UIs of your instances? E.g.:
    theTree = new JTree(treeModel) {
    public void setUI(javax.swing.plaf.TreeUI ui) {
    if (!(ui instanceof MyUI)) {
    // ignore this call.
    else
    super.setUI(ui);
    public void updateUI() {
    This example sets the UI to some predefined implementation, and disallows to change it afterwards. You could use the idea to control what UI is used for each specific instance of your class.

  • Deployment issue - Login failed for user 'NT AUTHORITY\NETWORK SERVICE'

    I am attempting to deploy a site from my development PC to my server. I have no issues running the site on the server using VS2010 Express Web in debug. All page queries are working within the debugger. The connection strings are identical between the PC
    and Server, except the host name.
    connectionString
    ="Data
    Source=SOCIALSERVER;Initial Catalog=Intake_be;Integrated Security=True"
    However, when using the site normally via IIS, the pages containing data access are failing with a permissions problem. The non-data access pages render normally.
    Login failed for user 'NT AUTHORITY\NETWORK SERVICE'
    Looking at the SQL2005 instance via SQL Management Studio, I see security folder with Logins under the Server. NTA\NS is listed as a user login. But, I also see similar folders under each
    of 3 databases. NTA\NS is not listed as a login specific to my target dB.
    My site is for internal (intranet) use only. There is no internet access into my IIS. This is my first deployment into production. I think I only need Windows Authentication but I lack the experience to make a good decision. My goal is to allow domain users
    to access pages that produce read only data. But, I also need controlled access to pages that can modify data. I used the native winform template for ASP.NET 4, which includes some roles based security.
    How do I grant permissions for internal users on the pages that access SQL data? How does that security model work with the native roles based security? i.e.
    add
    name="AspNetSqlMembershipProvider"type="System.Web.Security.SqlMembershipProvider"connectionStringName="ApplicationServices"...
    etc.
    Thanks for your time and patience on this Deployment 101 type issue.
    Kurt

    hi,
    You receive either of these error messages specifically when you use integrated security.
    To resolve you can use one of below.
    Method 1: Programmatically change the security context of the ASP.NET worker process to a user who has the correct SQL Server permissions.
    Method 2: Change the default configuration of ASP.NET so that the ASP.NET worker process starts and runs under the context of a user who has the correct permissions in SQL Server.
    Method 3: Grant the correct permissions in SQL Server so that the ASPNET account (or NetworkService account, for an application that runs on IIS 6.0) has the appropriate access to the required resources.(Go to the Computer Management >> Local User and
    Groups >> Groups >> Right Click and go to properties on IIS_IUSRS >> Add appropriate user.
    Thanx, Mark as answered if you are ok ..

  • Use different ringtones for diff contacts?

    My blackberry used to allow me to change the ringtone for each contact.  Can I do that with iPhone?  I have a 4s.
    Next question - can I change the ringtone notification for when certain contacts send me texts?  This would be great

    Yes, there is a field in each contact called ring tone and text tone. You can also set a different vibration pattern for each contact.

  • Iphone4 : Can I use different ringers for diff email accounts?

    Hi, I have just relinquished my beloved Blackberry in favor of my first ever Iphone, the reason being that  my home/work computers are macs and I was motivated by the syncing/coherence options.
    I have multiple email address for work/personal and have set them up on my Iphone. However, I don't seem able to attribute a specific ringer to each account (which I had previously on my bb), so whenever an email arrives i have the same sound regardless of which account it is, including the one reserved for "junk".
    Is it possible to personalize this option on the Iphone4 (NOT the 4S)?
    I am finding the iphone much more limited and less user friendly than my bb - I hope my opinion will change with use but so far it seems more annoying and limited than anything else.
    Advice would be much appreciated.
    thank you

    Not at the present. Suggest such to Apple here:

  • Packaging executable jars for my Swings based Desktop application

    I have developed a swings based desktop application for which we used third party JDIC jar inorder to incorporate the tray icon functionality for our application.
    The problem is i need to provide a distributable for this application and the application's executable jar file gets automatically created as a part of build from IDE [Am using NetBeans6.0]. The Application's exec.jar is not able to locate the jdic.jar and hence am unable to get the tray icon functionality, when i run the application's exec jar.
    i.I tried packaging the jdic lib jar with in the application's jar but got to know that tht can't solve the issue.
    ii.I also tried editing the manifest file to provide the class path to the thrid party jar [jdic] ... but of no use
    Any Help regarding this would be thoroughly appreciated.

    can anyone pls let me know how would i be able to package my application as distributable so that others can deploy and run.

  • Possible Bug? Different behaviour for List and Set one-to-many mappings on deletePersistent()

    Hi,
    I have a PC class that represents a TreeNode object (a GcGroup), which
    has a one-to-many relationship with itself to keep track of its descendants.
    For example a hierarchy of A -> B -> C, where A has B,C as descendants
    and B has C as a descendant. This is tracked by adding or removing a
    descendant with a recursive method to update a TreeNode's parent's
    descendants when a child is added or removed.
    The odd behaviour happens when I delete a child and try to remove the
    child manually from all my parent's descendant relations when I use a
    HashSet (possibly happens with any Set). In this case kodo will remove
    the relations with the following SQL statement:
    DELETE FROM TREENODE_DESCENDANTSX JDOIDX = xxxx;
    So when I do my recursive call I get a JDOException thrown stating that
    the object xxxx has already been deleted.
    When I change the relationship to an ArrayList this exception is not
    thrown and I do not get the error.
    Looking at the SQL generated they look the same:

  • Different batches for same product in one HU

    Dear SAP Gurus:
    I have a couple of questions:
    1. Can you have multiple batches for the same product on one HU?
    2. If the answer is YES, what do I need to do because right now when we try to scan the product ID which includes the batch the system does not saves the scanned batch on the HU but it leaves the one that the "Delivery Document" already had. We tried deleting the batch (leaving it blank) on the "Delivery Doc." but still it does not saves the scanned batch.
    Thank You in advance for your help.

    Mario,
    Be sure you can pack multiple batches in one HU in standard system. What's more, you can pack several different materials and HUs in one HU.
    I'm not familiar with RF but you can check this link and you can also ask HU experts on LE forum:
    http://help.sap.com/erp2005_ehp_04/helpdata/EN/76/ea7c38b5e211d391cf0008c7d94f4b/frameset.htm
    You can use this transaction to pick and pack material in one step. This can be useful, for example, if you need to pick several materials to be packed into one handling unit (HU). You can select an existing handling unit or create a new one. Identify the materials to be picked and packed by the delivery number.
    Regards,
    Csaba

  • How do I use a different number for imessages than the one for my phone?

    I use two different phone numbers. My main number is not the one associated with my iphone. I want imessages to be sent from my primary number, not the one assigned by default by my phone. I see in settings where I can add another email address, but not where I can add another phone number. How can I change the default number to the one I actually want people to use?

    You can't add another phone number.

  • Using different databases for an ADF web fusion application

    Hello all
    Here is the thing. Following some steps in a book developing an application, and I gotta say looks really good, so I thought why not just change it a bit and use it for the company I work for. Main problem is, the book uses the HR schema, and I wanna use the company's database. So can this be done and what damage should I be looking at? What are the areas I will have to fix?
    Thanks in advance all

    dino2dy,
    What are the areas I will have to fix?Not much, just the database design, business components, screen layouts, security, task flows, and business logic (in other words, just about everything)
    The best thing to do would be to learn from the book how to develop such an application and then use what you learned to develop your app. There may be utility classes/techniques/layouts/etc that you could reuse from the book perhaps.

    I have 5 more similar data form and I need to migrate then to other application and also on production sever. Is there any way that while exporting and importing them using formutil.cmd or other way that the validation cells reference does not change its reference point.
    For ex I have validation on Cell A5,A6..........AA6 after migrating it changes to A1,A1.........AA1.
    I am using 11.1.2.1.0 version of Hyperion Planning
    Kindly please help.
    Thanks in advance

    Hi Mehmet,
    I tried using the FormDefUtil.cmd .But by using this the reference points of validation changes to first cell when imported.
    Thanks
