Deserializing error in EJB

Question

When connection from DataSource ("jdbc/OracleCoreDS" or "jdbc/OracleDS") is used in EJB, the following messages are output on the oc4j console (One error message per one jdbc access). Is there any not-serializable object in com.evermind.sql.OrionCMTConnection? The Sql used for test is just a simple sql like "select employee_id from hr_master where employee_id='xxxxx'". I'd appreciate any advice.

Are you using a helper bean in your ejb, like a dao class? If so, this class needs to be serializable.
Also, are you passing in classes in your business methods? If so, these classes also have to implement the serializable interface.
ormi (orion's rmi over the wire protocol) uses the serializable interface to serialize the various classes so that the container and the ejb's can talk to each other and other containers.
I use bmp all of the time with an oracle database and orion, and have never seen your error message unless there was a class somewhere that wasn't implementing the serializable interface. Obviously, the home, remote and ejb do not have to implement serialiable.
