can you be more specific how to do that?  :X
What do you mean by "more specific"? More specific on my problem or more specific on the solution? With respect to the solution there is a very good wiki article here:

    HI
what is the Mac equivalent of the command "ctrl+shift + I"  for a PC to get to the cookies and delete them

It varies depending on which browser you're using. In Safari, choose Preferences from the Safari menu, click on the Privacy tab, and then on Details.

Close ... before going for a specific Cisco app ... lets find out some details:
    Host we need more details:
What is your server environment (Windows Server, or Mac OS X Server, or Linux)?
What security is implemented in your environment - as what is restricted (RDP for all or specifc credentials on all machines? Are you part of local admin group to the server you wish to connect)?
Does your environment Support CISCO IPSec connection? If so use Settings> VPN and IPSec tab to enter VPN details, if not then go with above suggestion. IF your restricted to RSA then either built in VPN settings or 3rd party app for RSA would suffice.
Finally, there are many RDP applications out there I use "Mocha RDP Light" (free minimal ads when launched not when connecting).

    Welcome to the Apple community.
So long as you are logged into the iTunes Store, using the correct ID and password (settings >store), then you will always have access to your apps, books, music, TV shows etc etc bought via the iTunes Store on that account.

  • After setting up my desktop Firefox, my mobile Firefox tries to sync and then reports an error of "Missing password"

I have successfully set up sync on my desktop Firefox install.
When I try to add a device:
    # I enter the 3 segment code from my mobile Firefox in desktop Firefox dialog
    # desktop Firefox shows "Sync Complete" dialog
    # mobile Firefox shows in options view that sync status is not connected due to "Missing password"
    # attempting to connect shows a dialog with
    * the proper sync key (locally saved) from my desktop firefox
    * a filled password field
    * the correct email address

Try to clear the Firefox Data from Android Settings > Manage Applications and try again to add your device to Desktop Sync. It should work as expected.

  • How can I use addons for desktop firefox on mobile firefox?

    Hi,
there are several addons for desktop firefox that I would like to use with my mobile firefox (android 4). Is it possible to make them compatible for mobile firefox?
    Thanks for help!
    XenonX3

    Hi XenonX3,
I'm afraid not. Add-ons for mobile firefox are different because the browser itself is very different.
There is information on firefox mobile development here: [https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/developers/docs/sdk/latest/dev-guide/tutorials/mobile.html]

  • Using CTRL-SHIFT-F for searches, can the cursor please be in the search window by default?

I regularly use CTRL-SHIFT-F to search particular folders (usually the Inbox) for a text string. When the search screen comes up, I sometimes start typing the text string, assuming that naturally the cursor's default position is in the search window. After all, that's the point, isn't it? But of course that's not true so I have to stop typing, use the mouse to move the cursor to where it belongs, and start typing again. This is only moderately annoying, but I have the feeling that it's only moderately difficult to fix, too.
    Any chance of that happening?
    Thanks in advance.

Change the command line /: to some paragraph format PH or line feed /.
    /E       ELEMENT
    PH       &IT_TEXTO-TDLINE&
            OR
    /         &IT_TEXTO-TDLINE&
Also why are you passing the text elemnt to internal table first using READ_TEXT. It can be directly done with INCLUDE Command.

  • CTRL+shift+t not working in Ubuntu 14.04

Suddenly CTRL+shift+t (for undo close tab) not worked!
    I try
    browser.sessionstore.max_tabs_undo: 0
    browser.sessionstore.max_windows_undo: 0
    and
    sudo chown $USER:$USER ~/.mozilla/firefox/ -R
But still my problem exist. Could you please help me to solve this problem? Firefox ver 36.0

If you set the prefs to 0 then you disable this feature and you won't be able to restore a closed tab or window.
To make this work these prefs need to have at least a value of 1.
    * browser.sessionstore.max_tabs_undo: 10
    * browser.sessionstore.max_windows_undo: 3
Do you see any items listed in "History > Recently Closed Tabs/Windows" after closing a tab?

  • When trying to cler all browsing history at the location bar, although I follow the instructions to 'ctrl, shift, delete, some web pages remain stuck. Even if I highlight them one at a time and hit delete, they remain. What can I do to eliminate them?

When trying to delete web pages from my history at the location bar drop-down area, I do as Firefox instructs by hitting the 'ctrl, shift, delete' keys but some web pages remain. Even if I highlight each page and hit delete, they remain. How can I eliminate these web pages?

If you visit a bookmarked site then that site will become a history item and shows as such in the location bar drop down list.

As it executes a javascript in the end, you may find other ways (e.g. place a button that will execute it for you to your page template).

  • Disabling touch mode by default for Reader XI

I am looking to turn off touch mode by default for Reader XI.  I tried the customization wizard and there is no settings for touch mode.  The registry keys for the settings are in the local user area so I don't think I can apply those for everyone.
Has anyone else looked into this or know a solution?

You can set how Acrobat enters Touch mode, if at all, for touch enabled-devices.
Choose Edit > Preferences (Windows) or Acrobat/Adobe Reader > Preferences (Mac OS).
    Under Categories, select General.
In Basic Tools, choose the desired default setting from the Touch Mode menu.

  • CTRL+SHIFT+B = CRASH!

I use the CTRL+B shortcut for bold text quite often.
Unfortunately, if I accidentally touch the SHIFT key at the same
time, RH crashes. I tried using the toolbars instead, but I find it
impractical when typing lots of text.
Is there a way to change shortcuts so I can bold with
    something other than CTRL+B?
    Thanks!
    Ben

    Hi all
Sorry for not responding earlier on this. I do remember there
indeed WAS some "keystroke combination of death" that caused a
crash. Unfortunately, I don't recall what it was.
I was out most of the day yesterday. Took my mother for a
colonoscopy, which ate up most of my day.
    Cheers... Rick

  • I need an alert message if I press ctrl shift b

    Hi All,
I Need an alert message if I Press "ctrl+shift+b"(to make the selected text bold). Is this possible?
    Regards,
    Chinna

Create a keyboard shortcuts (ctrl + shift + b) for your script and try...
    Code must be like this:
    alert("Bold Shortcut....");
    app.selection[0].fontStyle = "Bold";
P.S.: you have to set conditions for bold, bold italic, etc.

trying to veiw videos from a website that requires me to download firefox and silverlight. My imac osx 10.5.8 will now download firefox. firfx tells me my mac is not compatible with ffox Please help me ?  Thank you

There is a version of Firefox 4 available for PPC Macs:
TenFourFox 4.0.1 Firefox 4 For PowerPC Browser Released
Version 4.0.1 of TenFour Fox, FloodGap's port of Firefox 4 for Power PC
Macs that supports both Mac oS X 10.4 and 10.5. has been released.
Mozilla.org dropped support for OS 10.5 after Firefox 3.6 and for Power
PC with the fourth beta of Firefox 4.
TenFourFox uses almost all the same code as Firefox 4 and has nearly all
the same features, including faster JavaScript, WebM video, and HTML 5
and CSS 3 support, as well as new and emerging Web features, but with
the code needed to keep your Power Mac functional and fast. Out of beta
and it's ready for action, versiob 4.0.1 is a performance, security and
stability update incorporating Mozilla's Firefox 4.0.1 plus AltiVec acceler
-ation for WebM and browser graphics, and G5 JavaScript acceleration.
    For more information, visit:
    http://www.floodgap.com/software/tenfourfox/
    Source: from http://www.applelinks.com - posted April 25, 2011)
Now for the intersting bit: TenFourFox, like Firefox, does not support most plug-ins. Unless you are prone to headaches (in which case don't) you can read about that here:
    http://code.google.com/p/tenfourfox/wiki/PluginsNoLongerSupported
    But there is a workaround!
Open TenFourFox and type in the address bar: about:config (no spaces) and click return. This gives you a warning that it might harm the application. Ignore that and click on 'I'll be careful, I promise' and you get the config file that you can edit - with great care.
    Look/search (scroll down) for: tenfourfox.plugins.enabled
Set it to true. (Double click it to toggle it)
Now close TenFourFox, open it again, and Flash will now work, as it now uses the plug-ins that Safari has stored.
With SilverLight, Microsoft attempted to create their own version of what a replacement for Flash could be - but not to universal acclaim. You can read more about it here:
    http://silverlight.net/
So, if you go to any sites that have been designed for this new Silverlight stuff, you can download the plug-in from here (but make certain that you are downloading SilverLight v.1.0 for OS X (10.4.8 upwards) if you are using a PPC Mac, but even this will not work with Safari 4. Version 2 only works with Intel Macs and does work with Safari 4/5. The solution is to download and install the latest version of Flip4Mac, which now includes a Silverlight component:
    http://dynamic.telestream.net/downloads/download-flip4macwmv.htm
But the latest news is that Microsoft will probably abandon Silverlight in favour of HTML5:

In Library mode, you can press CTRL-SHIFT-D to unselect all but the most-selected image - very handy when synchronizing settings.
CTRL-SHIFT-D doesn't do anything in Develop mode. It would be nice to have the same functionaility in develop mode.
