Detele Web Services created from BAPIs

Hello,
I just created some Web Services from some BAPIs using the wizard. I would like to rebuild these WSs, but first of all I should delete them.
I can see them with transaction WSCONFIG, but I can't find a way to delete them.
Can you tell me how to completely delete them?
Yours,
jmiturbe

Hi
You could use se80 and click "Repository Information system"->Enterprise Services->
Service Definitions->search your WebService Defition->Delete it.

    Hi,
    I did not get any error, however the service call is always return null even though
    I hard code return String, so I knew it failed.
    I tried your following code and it worked. You mention that I have to download
    proxy.jar from workshop overview page, but I can't find it. Would you please tell
    me where to find the download menu in workshop.
    If I want to build a dynamic stand alone client to invoke service created from
    workshop ( my original approach), what should I do?
    I am trying to use workshop to handle multipart soap message (soap message with
    attachments), could you please send me a example ?
    Very appreciate your help!
    Thanks again.

    Hi Lina,
    Are you getting any errors?
    Did you happen to try with a static client? Is that working?
    (For static client you have to download the proxy jar from the workshop
    overview
    page and have it in the classpath)
    I have attacjhed the proxy jar and here is a sample client. Let me know
    how this
    goes.
    public class Test
    public static void main(String [] args)
         Newsmlorder_Impl m_proxyImpl = null;
         NewsmlorderSoap m_proxy = null;
         try
              m_proxyImpl = new Newsmlorder_Impl();
              catch (IOException ex)
              System.out.println("Error getting proxy");
              ex.printStackTrace();
              m_proxy = m_proxyImpl.getnewsmlorderSoap();
              GetUserAddress p = m_proxy.getUserAddress();
    Thanks a lot,

  • Web Service created from Function Module with output tables

    Hello,
    I created a web service from a custom function module.  This Function module has some export parameters and one table.
    The table parameter returns a list of data for selection.
    When I execute the function module, everything is returned fine.
    When I call the web service, the export parameters are returned but the table is empty.
    Has anyone encountered that kind of issue?
    Thanks!

    Please check the following few things while testing the WS:
    - Test the WS with WS Navigator (accessible from transaction WSADMIN or http://<server host>:<port>/wsnavigator/enterwsdl.html).
    - While doing the test, give the exact no. of digit if there is some input parameter (with 0 padding if necessary).
    - Make sure the "SKIP" check box against the table parameter is NOT checked.

  • Special Character XML Web Service call from Flex

    Hi,
    Let me first give a little background.
    I have to query and return data in XML format. To do so, I have created a custom DSC component. In cases where XML has special characters, LC throws error saying that XML is not properly formed. To over come this issue I used CDATA tag at DSC component. Now LC works as it should and I returns correct result.
    I have a web service call from Flex to get this XML result. Every time i trigger this web service I get an error message saying </document> tag is missing.
    I understand in Flex, web service returned data is wrapped in CDATA tag, thats what i causing all this issue.
    I am not sure, how to handle this situation, I am sure this is a common problem and there should be ways to work around it.
    I would really appreciate if any one could point me in the right direction.
    Thank you ..

    The web service has four operations in it, I need pingQuery operation execution code since it doesnot need any input value.
    I have used code something like this.. Any one please correct me if I am wrong..

  • Net beans Web Service call from Sun Creator

    I am new to all of sun studio tools.
    Currently I am using Sun Java Studio Creator early access 2 and Net Beans 4.1 for my development project.
    I could not find tutorial to create web service using Sun Java Studio Creator therefore I am creating using Net Beans 4.1. I am having difficulty calling web service created in Net Beans 4.1 from Sun Java studio Creator. Could someone please help me out. I looked at all tutorial sun have available about Sun Java Studio Creator Early Access 2 and Net Beans 4.1.
    When Net Beans 4.1 is running, the web service can be called from Creator tool but once it's close, web service does not respond. Looks like I need to turn-on the Net Beans 4.1 server but don't know where to go.
    Bassically, I would like to call web service created in Net Beans 4.1 from Sun Java Studio Creator Early access 2.
    If somebody know how to create web service in Sun Java studio creator, please pass me the link would be great help.
    Thanks
    s

    Thanks for your reply.
    I looked at the tutorial link couple days ago but didn't help me.
    Coding is fine, no error. I checked the web service by refrencing URL and local WSDL file, it's responding fine when both Net Beans 4.1 and Sun Java Studio Creator EA 2 are up and running. Looks like to call web service locally, I need to have net beans 4.1 app server running concurrently with sun creator app server.
    I downloaded and installed Net Beans 4.1 bundled with SJS App Server.
    How do I turn on the Net beans 4.1 app server.
    There are some default WSDL file for sample projects in sun java studio creator ea 2.
    Is there a way to deploy the web service created in net beans 4.1 to sun java studio creator's specific directory and consume those WSDL file just like the sample project.
    Is there a way I can use one SJS App Server for both Net Beans 4.1 and Sun Java Studio Creator EA2. If then could you please pass me the tutorial to do so.
    Thanks

  • Asynchronous web service call from Redwood

    Hi Everyone,
    Build version M33.104.
    We have a scenario where we have to call an asynchronous web service.
    From the documentation i understand that the Redwood job will be in status Running until the web service completes.
    How does the call back work from the web service to Redwood? How does Redwood know the asynchronous web service job completed?
    From the documentation, the per-requisite is:
    callback to UpdateJob1 web service at ServerAddress with JobId and FinalStatus as Out parameters
    Should i create two out parameters for the web service job definition in Redwood? one JobId and another FinalStatus?
    How do i get the URL to UpdateJob1 web-service, so that i can make my web service, call it, to update the Redwood job that called it?
    thanks
    Nanda

    Hi HP,
    I included the following snippet in job source:
    //Set completion strategy to external
    jcsJobContext.setCompletionStrategy(CompletionStrategyType.External);
    I get the following error when compiled:
    JCS-102183: Compile failed for Job Definition SOAP_GlobalWeatherSoap_GetCitiesByCountry (Latest Version): SOAP_GlobalWeatherSoap_GetCitiesByCountry.java:user code 24:40:cannot find symbol symbol : variable CompletionStrategyType location: class com.redwood.scheduler.custom.SOAP_GlobalWeatherSoap_GetCitiesByCountry jcsJobContext.setCompletionStrategy(CompletionStrategyType.External);
    I am not able to find any information from the API documentation on the method setCompletionStrategy, so I'm not able to figure what type of variable am i passing, so that i can initialize it. Please shed some light on it.
    Also there is no path called Scripting > Built-In Web Services
    I have only Scripting>Published Web Services
    Thanks

  • How to trigger Web Service created by WebMethods

    Hello Experts,
    In our project WebMethods is using as middleware. We need to pass some XML files from SAP to some third party system using WebMethods (ESB).
    So, here WebMethods is creating a Web Service and from SAP we need to trigger the WebService and also I need to capture the response returned by the third party system using Web Service.
    Can anybody guide with step by step procedure.
    Thanks in advance.
    Krishna Yerram.

    To be able to consume a web service in your SAP system directly you need to generate a proxy-client for each web service you would like to consume.
    Workbench - Enterprise Services - Client Proxies
    The easiest way to generate a client proxy is by using the WSDL definition from the Web Service
    Enterprise Services - Create - Proxy Object - Service Consumer - Local File (this is your WSDL file) - put in package assignment and transport request and your proxy class will be generated.
    If you look into the generated proxy class you'll find a method you can call from anywhere in your ABAP code to consume the web service.
    Hope that helps,
    Michael

  • Web Services call from SOA to BI Publisher

    Hi,
    I have never worked on this web service call from SOA to BI Publisher funcationality and I am strugulling to understand on how this woks.
    My requirement is that SOA will call BI Publisher on a parameter basis eg( some id) to a report and BI publisher should pick that id and execute the report and place the PDF file (file name is combination of id and date) into specific location in the FTP server and in return BI Publisher should send the response to SOA defining the file name and location of the FTP server.
    Can anyone please help on this. This is a big sore on my head.
    Thanks in advance.

    Thanks for your replies.
    Actually I am working on Forms 6i version , so does same solution works on Forms 6i as well.
    Also this application is for address search, so user provides for some key like PostCode etc and then call the Webservice and it will give you list of options.
    Now user will choose and confirm one address.
    Do all this interaction possible using UTL_HTTP?
    After going through link provided , I need to implemented in following steps:-
    1) Using JDeveloper 10.1.3.1.0 Create a SOAP_REQUEST.
    2)Create a wrapper program who calls Web Service.
    3) Call this Wrapper Program from our form and PL/SQL Package.
    Please let me know if this sounds OK.

  • Web Service (SOAP) From Oracle Forms

    From the exaples of calling web services (soap) from pl/sql, it seems very poor and troublesome. I've seen a few articles with good points about why not to do this from pl/sql. So, I was hoping someone in the forums could share their opinions and approaches to using web services from forms based applications. I would ideally like to hear reasons people chose not to use pl/sql.

    There are some examples of calling web services from forms on the Forms OTN page - works fine although I would encourage the use of the new JVM pooling features as this will aid scalability and performance.

  • Issues in Web service created for updating the Sales Order

    Hi All,
    We created a Web service using the Web service tool in CRM 7.0 ( Using the Component WS_DESIGN_TOOLS )
    Web service was created for three modes such as READ, CREATE and CHANGE Modes.
    READ Web Service we tested and its working fine as we were able to see the data for an existing Sales Order in the Web Service.
    We expect that the Change Web Service will update the data of an existing Sales Order.
    Through our Web service we are passing the Order GUID ,Order ID and some Header Fields as well as Item Fields but  the in the Web Service we are getting a message that Web service executed successfully but the CRMD_ORDERADM_H Table isnot getting updated.
    What could be problem.
    Any suugestions will be highly appreciated.

    Hi Gourav,
    I checked in SICF for the Webservice name created.
    this is the service path
    /default_host/sap/bc/srt/rfc/sap/ for the corresponding Web Service created in DEV 200 Client.
    I checked in SOAMANAGER and saw  that the  endpoitnts were zero.
    the Search Operation for Webservice have got three query fields mainly
    Object Id, Posting Date,Procees Type
    If we give Process Type
    sign - blank
    option - blank
    low - YPO ( Custom )
    High - blank we are getting 126 entries.
    and if we check for the Process Type YPO (Custom ) in CRMD_ORDERADM_H Tbale also we are getting the same no of entries.
    but only for option BT , for Posting Date issue is thr..
    Any inputs to move forward will be highly appreciated.
