Determination of Base price condition type depending on Item Category

Dear All,
The requirement I have is as stated below:
There are two materials A and B that are individually sellable materials. But during a specific time period the company decides to give a scheme where in Material B is given as free when a particular quantity of material A is purchased. Irrespective of the scheme, material B can also be individually purchased during the scheme period.
Now in the former scenario where material B goes free with material A in the same order, the base price of material B should not go to revenue G/L but to a different G/L called Scheme G/L. To counter this scheme G/l there is another counter G/L into which 100% discount on base price to material B goes.
In the latter case, if material B is sold individually, then the base price should go to Revenue G/L and not scheme G/L and the 100% discount is not applicable.
Can you please guide me on how to configure this.
The approach I have taken is as follows:
The condition types for base price are ZBPR and ZBP1(reference condition type of ZBPR)
Item Categories to be considered: ZTAN and ZTNN (for material B going as free during the scheme)
The requirement is such that, whenever the item category for a particular material is ZTAN, the condition type to be picked must be ZBPR while the condition type ZBP1 must be deactivated.
Similarly, if the item category for the line item is ZTNN, then the condition type to be picked must be ZBP1 and the condition type ZBPR must be deactivated

Dear All,
I have fulfilled this by doing rev acct determination in vkoa using item category and moving it up the order. Also I used a requirement in v/08 for 100% discount on free material.
This has resolved my issue and i am now closing this thread.
Thanks and Regards,
Rohan

    Hi,
We had a similar requirement once, and towards the end we realised that deleteing rather than hiding it was a bad idea.
Think beyond the scope, that if a future sales order created with reference needs this condition record; manual entry will again be dependent on your pricing procedure and is a mess.
But if you do want to delete it; go into debugging and decide which user exit you would want to use and delete that line of the condition record from XKOMV table for that Sales Order

  • Output determination with base pricing condition types

    Hi folks,
got a question regarding the Output determination..
In the outptut type i.e order confirmation and change order confirmation, it is showing the the base price condition type i.e PR00.
But the client wants it to pick up the condition type material discount k004...
is it possible ?   because what my understanding was that the output types typically picks the base condition type PR00.
but the client wants it to pick up this K004..
can anyone say how to do this....
    thanx in advance,
    sourav
    I

In the Pricing procedure configuration there is a column Print, where for each condition you may specify if and how the condition should be printed. There is good documentation (F1) available on this field. Clear this field on PR00 and set to 'a' (or any other applicable value) for K004. This change will affect all the documents that are using the same pricing procedure though.
Otherwise either the output processing program or the form (both names may be found in the Output configuration) will have to be changed or, if the standard ones are being used, those will have to be copied as the custom (Z...) objects and then modified accordingly.

  • New condition types as per item category

    Hello All,
I want to determine two new condition types for one particular item category.
Is there any standard way to determine it.
    Regards
    Amit

    Hi Amit,
If you are using the formula for calculating the values then you  have two options:
    1. If  calculation routine is sap std. then create the new requirement routine and assign to the conditions in the pricing procedure.
2.If calculation routine is developed by you then put the  required checks in the same.
    Hope this will help you.

    Hello Sri,
Ideally object DNL_CUST_CNDALL should get all changes done to customizing setting in R/3 to CRM.
Did you check the logs in txn CND_MAP_LOG_DISPLAY in CRM?
You can get some hints there, if any error has occured during the download.

  • PO - Document Type FO and Item Category B - Can they be transferred to SUS?

    Hi SDN
We are using R/3 4.7 with SRM 5.0 - Classic Scenario and XI 4.0.  We are just about to launch an SUS project to put our PO's on SUS for our suppliers.  Our organization is dealing with PO's for both Goods and Services.  As we know that there are no problems about putting the GR-Type PO's (NB type) on SUS but I would like to know if it is possible to transfer PO's that would be from the Document Type FO and Item Category B (Blanket PO) to SUS and ensure that our suppliers can do the entire PO Acknowledgement, PO Change and post the Invoice via SUS.  If not, what are the options for our R/3 - SUS installation?
    Thanks!

  • Item:000001.Order type ZBBK and Item category TAN not customized for

    Hello all,
I got the following error message when trying to create an order. Please suggest.
Item:000001.IP type ZBBK and Item category TAN
    not customized for
    Thanks,

In config, you have to have assignment of the document types to the item category groups.
In SPRO you can Assign Item Category Usage for a combination of -
    1] Sales Document Type
    2] Item Category Group and
3] High level Item Category etc.
The path in SPRO is Sales and Dist --> Sales --> Sales Documents --> Sales Document Item --> Assign Item Categories.
Just below "Define Item Category Usage".
    Hope this helps.
Reward points if the answer is helpful.

  • Customer Expected price::Condition type EDI1 and EDI 2

what is the trigger point when you enter a customer expected price in a sales order
Is there any enchancement/ routine that runs when you enter customer exepected price in a sales order.

Routine 8 is used is for these condition type to compare, say, when ever the EDI1 price is is higher then expected in compare to base price. Then system will blocked the sales order.
FYI - For automatic determination of these condition type in sales order you get inbound iDoc from customer.
You use condition segment E1EDP05 under E1EDP01 for IDOC ORDERS04, price field VPREI.
As I already mention in absence of IDoc, you can manually maintain the same.

  • Scale basis in condition type?

    Hi
I want to know the exact functionality of Scale basis in a condition type.
Basically what does scale basis, scale formulae, check value ,scale type etc mean?
Explanation with an example would be highly appreciated.
Also we do maintain scale basis at condition record level, then whats the difference between the two?
    Thanks

    Hi ! Christino,
    Q) functionality of Scale basis in a condition type?
    A) The entry made here decides whether the condition value calculated is on the base of per quantity(say per pc or per no.) or per weight(say per Kg or per pound) or per volume(say per litre or per ml or per cm^3)
    Q) What does scale formulae, check value ,scale type etc mean?
    A) Scale Formulae - is a setting(ABAP/4 code you write) to make condition value to be calculated any other than those mentioned in the above answer.
->Check value field once set helps in deciding whether the scales you mentions have to be in a ascending or descending in scales rate
    (ex.for Material A 1pc to 50pc price is $100
                             51pc to 200pc price is $99
201pc to 500pc price is $98, is an example of ascending scale rate. descending is opposite)
-> Scale type is setting the validity of the scale (say the scale rate starts from a particular point of quantity or value)
Q)Also we do maintain scale basis at condition record level, then whats the difference between the two?
    A) at the condition record level it just a reflection of what scale basis you have set in customizing of Condition type.
Hope this helps. Do provide your feedback.

  • Price Condition Type

    Hello Gurus,
Just wandering if i want to give a material discount for both the weight and quantity , how would that work ? Can i give using 1 condition type or do i need two ??
    Sandeep.

    Hi Sandeep,
You need 2 condition types to cater for your requirement. Can't handle it from one condition alone.
    Because in condition type, you have to select the "Calculation Type".  It's either "Weight" or "Quantity" not both;
    For Weight base -
You have to select "Gross Weight" or "Net Weight" as "Calculation Type" for weight based discount.
Refer "KF00 - Freight" condition type for more information.
    For Quantity base -
You have to select "Quantity" as  "Calculation Type" for quantity based discounts.
Refer "K004 - Material" condition type for more information.
Create condition tables & access sequence for your requirement.
Add relevant access sequence to both condition types accordingly.
Add both conditions to your pricing procedure as well.
Once you maintain your condition master records in VK11, you should be able to see relevant conditions in the sales order line item, conditions tab.
Hope this is helpful to you !
    Good Luck !

  • Auhtorization on Price condition type

    Hi Experts,
on a SAP CRM 5.0 project, I try to limit the access to a bunch of condition types of the pricing procedure for a sales order. I saw in the customizing (tr PRC_PRICPROC_CRM) a field entitled Authorization (Level for Authorization Checks) but when I enter a value, all the users don't have access to the concerned condition type, even the users with a SAP ALL profile. I looked for an authorization object in tr PFCG which could control this field but I didn't find any. Has anyone ever faced the same issue? If this is the case, what solution did you implement?
    Many thanks
    Regards
    Clementine

    Hi Clementine,
not sure if you still need this information but just to let you know that there are two consulting notes (# 1166349
for CRM >= 5.0 and # 717670 for CRM 4.0) available for this.
    Thanks,
