Developing a Graphical Report

Hello Friends,
I need to develop a BAR Graph using the ABAP.
Could anyone please provide me the sample code or any tips how to do this.
Also, I need to send this Graph to the user in an Email. Does it can done? If so please let me know how to proceed further.

go to transaction SE80 and follow the menu path Environment -> Controls Examples. SAP has many examples of how to implement controls such as SE80 and they include the source code that can be copied an manipulated to your needs.

Hi,
Lets say you have two smart styles with X and Y, and runtime based on the number of pages, if you would like to modify the style, then check any standard table or structue which holds and responsible for the holding the style value.
If you can trace that, based on the coding we can modify accordingly.

Very-Urgent ( Rep- 56048 : Eng Crashed in Oracle9i Graphical Report )

Hi friends,
I am getting problem in Oracle9i Reports while generating graphical report.
The error is : REP-56048 - Engine rwEng-0 Crashed.
This error is for only Grahical type report.

When you create a .jsp report, Reports inserts an XML report definition in the <rw:objects> tag. This is why it appears to need an XML parser before it can open up a .jsp file.
You could try just taking this XML and saving it as a .xml file (ie: remove everything from the .jsp except the content of the <rw:objects> tag). This would at least tell you if the problem is in the XML of the JSP section of the file.
If you can open up the contents of the xml report then you could try opening the .jsp file up in JDeveloper and see if there are any inconsistencies in the file - ie: unmatched tags.
If you get an "unable to start the XML parser" error trying to open up the xml file, try creating a simple report and saving and loading to XML.

Exporting graphical report using FM GFW_PRES_SHOW

Problem in export Number field into graphical reports

I have a custom field Number1.
I put a decimal number (italian version) 0,5
I use Number1 inside Cost1...to make some calculations, so the number format I see that is correct.
I use Number1 as dimension into a graphical report (to excel file).
Into the pivot of the excel the Number1 has the "," character converted to a underscore "_"
So 0,5 become 0_5
0,1 become 0_1
I need the correct format into excel because I have to do other calculations.

How do you do your Excel export? Saving the file in a XLS format or creating a visual report?
A workaround would be to write a simple macro in your Excel file:

:=xlByRows, MatchCase:=False, SearchFormat:=False, ReplaceFormat:=False

But before trying this, let's try to debug your export.

Trying to make use of Data Modeler Reports from within SQL Dev EA 2.1, but every time I try to connect to a DB I get the following message "Oracle SQL Developer Data Modeler reporting repository required."
Any idea how to go about sorting this out?

Hi i have the Oracle SQL Developer Data Modeler version 2.0.0 installed.
When i try to export one diagram to the reporting schema, i get the following error : "Error occurred while exporting to Reporting Schema.See the log file for details".
The log file has no errors.
The repository owner is DBA.
The connection is ok.
Can you help me?

How to Develop the u2018Z/Yu2019 Reports in Business one ? Can we use SE38 (R/3 ABAP Editor and other T-codes) in Business One.? Or is there any tools to develop the Business One Reports ? How to Convert the Report out put into XML File?

After executed the report Select ->System->Save-->Local file - Excel format given correct path where you want to store.

Developer - Forms and Reports 11g?

Hi,
We have recently installed application server 11g and developers are asking me for the developer 11g software to go with the forms and reports. Looking at the oracle website they have changed things, there is no longer a Developer 11g, and I'm having trouble establishing what I need to download and install so the developers can develop forms and reports in 11g. Can someone tell me what I need to grab from the oracle site and roughly how to install it? It's all a bit new to me.

This came up awhile back, read the entire thing and make sure you use the same versions.
Oracle 11g Developer suite installation
Note that you will need to install Weblogic Server before you can install Forms 11g.

1. Last GR date,If the material is a Batch amanged material you can get the last Gr date from the Table: MCHA-(Field) LWEDT..
if the material is not batch manged,, Hope we can ref the MSEG based on the Movement types( Inward )/Material/Plant/Location for the last GR..
2. For the last GI date- Same we can ref the MSEG based on the Movement types( Outward )/Material/Plant/Location for the last GI..
