DIAdem.exe :application error

HI ,
I have a .NET application as service which call Diadem using OLE DIAdem.Tocommand(). Diadem will be called simultanessly one after another for a series of test. It is quite hard to explain the complete procedure. I'm attaching a diagram which will give u an idea of what is happening.
Everthing is working fine as of now. Multiple Diadem instances are running in the machine. But after few tests I'm getting an application error from diadem. Which i was not able to catch in .NET service.
I'm attaching the Error screen shots also along with mail.
Let me know if anyone get any idea.
regards
SKB

Hi SKB,
It's hard to say for sure what the problem is, based on your description so far.  One thing to check on is the order in which you create/move the *.DAT and *.R64 (or other binary) files that make up each DIAdem DAT data set.  You definitely want to copy/move the binary file(s), usually *.R64, BEFORE you move the *.DAT header file.  There may be a process on the other side that grabs the *.DAT file and tries to read it before the corresponding binary file(s) it references have been fully copied/moved.
Please check on this and then let us know if the problem persists,

This error occurs just after bootup, no programs started except windows..

Can anyone help me with this problem? Happened after install Labview 7.0

Labview 7.0 is the only thing installed right now. Also selected "Visual

One other thing I just noticed. System info reports 2 processors and I
    think I only have one.
    TIA

    Happy update.
After ignoring this problem for awhile and installing some NI DAQ boards,
this problem is not happening anymore.
Would urge NI to investigate further though. Messed me up for a couple of
days, and still don't know why it happened.
Much thanks to those who helped.

Maybe your java.exe and javaw.exe are infected by virus..
You can try running a virus scanner program..

You shouldn't really need the path.  Just make sure that the distribution point has the content for all packages referenced by the task sequence.  You can check that in the Monitoring node of the console under Distribution Status | Content Status
or by going to the Distribution Pints node in Administration.  Right click the DP in question and select properties.  Then go to the COntent tab

I have Windows 2000 w/service pack 4 and all updates.
itunes and ipod work great with the EXCEPTION of when I try to transfer downloaded VIDEOS from itunes to my LIBRARY. The downloads are on my hardDrive but when I try to transfer them over to the ipod a PROGRAM ERROR alerts that itunes.exe has generated errors and will be closed by windows...and shuts down. Yes I have already TWICE removed and reinstalled itunes with all virus scans and spyware OFF, downloaded the stand alone quicktime.Still no luck.
What the heck is causing this???
    HP Windows 2000 amd-K6 3D

If you know where this error log it generates/creates is, copy and paste it here in a post so we know whats happening.
Just to cover basics, run antivirus to check for viruses on your PC, run any malware program you use to check for ad/spyware, and after that turn off or disable any antivirus/security programs you have before installing iTunes. there is a slew of post here on both Norton AND Mcafee and how they have interfered with installs of iTunes
Someone may correct me on this but seems like your installer files are corrupt. run Microsofts "Windows Installer CleanUp Utility" and anything listed as iTunes or Quicktime remove with the cleaner. Hi,
I keep getting the same error message saying iPodService.exe has generated errors and will be closed by Windows. I have downloaded the latest version of iTunes and reinstalled and restarted my computer but still no go. Anyone got any ideas? Would really appreciate it as I've just got a new iPod nano and finding it very frustrating not being able to hook it up. Thanks in advance.

  • ITunes.exe has generated errors problem!

Everytime I attempt to open iTunes, it says "iTunes.exe has generated errors and will be closed by Windows. you will need to restart the program. an error log is being created." what do i do? i've tried uninstalling Quicktime, but it never lets me finish uninstalling. an error pops up. someone please help! i would definitely appreciate it.

You can get the clean up Utility at http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;290301
