Diagnostic mode help - cant turn it off

i was doing a auto Diagnostic test on my ipod 5gen video and i got stuck, cant get past the accessorize test, its asking me to plug in FW, which i think is firewire, and i dont have a firewire cable.
and i cant get it to stop the test, or turn off.
how do i finish the test without a FW? or how can i turn it off?

Have you tried a reset?
How to reset the iPod.
It may take quite a few attempts and is best done connected to power.
If this doesn't work, try restoring the iPod to factory settings.
This isn't meant as a criticism of you, but I often wonder why folks choose to mess with the diagnostic mode, as it's meant for Apple engineers and not us users.
