Dialog Module and List Processing.

Hi All,
I am having a program in which after processing I get a basic list. Using PF-STATUS of the basic list a dialog module is called using 'CALL SCREEN' which accepts date and has exectue and cancel buttons on it.
What do I do to so that user when clicks on cancel button the dialog module disapperas and the original list processing is still seen.

Hi,
To pass control from the dialog processor to the list processor, you must include the following statement in one of the dialog modules:
LEAVE TO LIST-PROCESSING [AND RETURN TO SCREEN <nnnn>].
You can include this statement in either the PBO or the PAI event. Its effect is to start the list processor and display the basic list after the PAI processing of the current screen. The basic list contains any list output from all PBO and PAI modules that have been executed up to that point.

Questions: On NVIDIA Kernel module and install process

Hi everyone,
I have a PCIe 7600 GT card, and trying to get it to work in its full power.
So far I have not succeeded, and condemned to run in VESA mode. But have one more try to do following the advisory of upgrading kernel and reinstalling the Nvidia driver.
I have few questions though:
- I know my kernel as 2.6.15-ARCH (from the dir in /usr/src), but in the above mentioned advisory, there were more digits after ("2.6.16.14-1"). Where in my system, I can locate those micro version numbers, if I need to?
- My not-yet-working Nvidia driver insrtall (from [testing]) left a kernel module with "agp" in the name. Is it the way it should be, taking into account that I have a PCIe card? Or is this pointing to an install problem?
- I have browsed the stuff in the 8756 vintage of the Nvidia driver, and noticed that there are references to X11R6 which I do not have (have an X R7 Xorg). Which one of the driver-install-script or Arch-PKGBUILD-file has the intelligence to place the files correctly in R6 and R7 installs?
- The 8756 text also refers to nvidia-xconfig utility, and I did use it in my 64-bit Gentoo install. In my Arch install it is no where to be found. Again, is this pointing to an install problem?

3. the 8751 driver works fine with xorg 7, so i presume the new one should work also.

as an alternative to VESA :
pacman -S xf86-video-nv
this will install the open source nvidia driver. It supports only 2D acceleration, but should improve your screen a lot over standard VESA.
put
Driver "nv"
in your device section in xorg.conf to enable it.

Problem facing in ALV to List processing and back to ALV

HI all,
In ALV USER_COMMAND i have inserted statement 'LEAVE TO LIST-PROCESSING'. I want to display records on List processor (Classical report) which are selected from ALV.
Due to LEAVE TO LIST-PROCESSING i can see Classical report but from here i am not able to come back on ALV screen...even not on any screen because BACK button on GUI-Status is not working.
From List Status i can see same GUI status which i gave to ALV.
also i have tried giving LEAVE LIST PROCESSING but due to this though i get ALV back but i cant get List display.
Please direct how to move.

Problem with leave to list-processing and return to screen

Hi all,
I am designing a screen in which I have provided a pushbutton which will allow the user to upload (via BDC) the price list to VK11 transaction. And consequently, after upload the BDC message will be captured and displayed as an ALV list. for this, I am using leave to list-processing and return to screen 100 statement.
My problem is, when I return from the alv list screen by pressing back/any button the called screen 100 is displayed as a dialog window. but actually the screen 100 is a normal screen.
How can I rectify this problem?

List processing and PF status.

Hi Team ABAP,
i got a problem in List processing.
I´m in a dypro with a table control on it. Users can mark one or more ALV lines and then e.G. press "process".
Something gets done then (some forms get printed), and after that i want to display a protocol.
First i tried to process a simple write list by using WRITE statement.
Coding got processed, but it had no effect, no write list was generated, or at least not shown on my screen.
So i tried to code a "LEAVE TO LIST PROCESSING" right before my first WRITE statement.
Well, now it works my write list is on Screen. But here start the Problem. Like i got told in the ducomentation of the LEAVE TO LIST PROCESSING statement the WRITE list gets processed with the actual active PF status from the dynpro where i came from.
1. This is quite uncool, since i do not need those Buttons in my List.
2. Even if it was ok, those buttons are not working. Typing /h in OK_CODE field and pressing ENTER doesnt help it. When after that i click a button, nothing happens, such as if i didnt click them.
I searched the forum, but i got drowned in thousands of "interactive list" threads and wasnt able to find my required info in an acceptable time of 30 minutes.
Did i do a essential error? Someone got an Idea where i´m stuck or a proposal on how to improve?
Any Help or tip will be welcome and rewared accordingly.

Try if you can display the list in ALV where you can maintain the pf-status.
You can check the demo program DEMO_LEAVE_TO_LIST_PROCESSING. In this, it is setting set pf-status to space.

Current list of all SAP modules and sub-modules

Can anyone point me to a current and comprehensive list of all available SAP modules and sub-modules? Currently, the best source I have found for this list is SAPNote 36677, which lists all the structure of components for customer incidents. However, this SAPNote list is over 23K line items and includes information outside of the modules and sub-modules, in a format that is difficult to normalize.

Assuming you are looking for an overview on the modules for the SAP Business Suite, personally I like the list in the SAP help
Also a valuable resource is the SAP Release Strategy webpage, which provides link to the Solution Explorer, which shows the available modules by LoB Line of Business or Industry solution, and the official Product List called PAM Product Availability Matrix, which is pretty technical.

Can any one tell me where we can view list of Business Process Owners and list of Project members who are involved in a particular project.
I know that we can view list of team member in authorisation view. is there any other view to view list all member who are all involved in a particulat project.

thanks, it's good to get a reply, but why do you keep going on about windows? Agreed, there is no mention that Tremor runs on iOS. So far this is the only reason given that it cannot run on iOS. You can read and I can read.
By putting the question to the community I was hoping for something like: the app you want is here-link, or the app you want cannot be written because technical-reason.
From a words point of view it would seem to be open for any ios developer to support DMG files.

This will end up current calling sequence (will proceed after CALL SCREEN XXX statement). So if no other CALLs were found the program will be finished, or will go back in selection screen.
LEAVE to LIST-PROCESSING and RETURN TO SCREEN 0.
This will go back to screen XXX, if main screen is 200.
LEAVE to LIST-PROCESSING and RETURN TO SCREEN 200. "when you choose BACK, screen 200 will be called (main screen)

ALV grid to list processing and GUI status

Hi,
In a customized program the report output is in ALV grid which is interactive. On selecting a record and pressing SAVE button a BAPI runs in background. In order to display BAPI error message the leave to list-processing has been used. But GUI status is not working in list display and can not exit or go back from here to main selection screen.
when try to see program name & screen no it displays
Program - SAPLKKBL
Menu - STANDARD_FULLSCREEN
pls advise how to go back from list to main screen or ALV output.

Hi Anya,
As per my understanding, this is your prog flow:
*Main ALV Display.
*Select record.
*Click on Button SAVE.
*Handle Event.
*Call BAPI for processing based on selection.
Now at this point why dont you colect the error messages from the BAPI, and display it in a POP-UP ALV display?
You need not e very much worried about the PF status and all. Also this POP-UP will be placed on the MAIN ALV. So when you close the POP-UP it will come back to the main ALV.
By this when you press the BACK button of the main ALV, it will take you back to the selection scree.
Please let me know if i am missing something.

Can you tell me where I can find a complete list of all the module and sub modules available in SAP B1? I have tried to run a query on table OPRM which is displayed in System Information when I am in Auhtorisations table but SAP B1 and SQL server doesnt recognise the table name either in my SAP B1 database or in SBO Common.

Time constraints and Dialog module

1.What is the difference between the time constraints A(IT exists just once from 01 Jan 1800 to 12 Dec 9999) and B(IT exists for maximum of once from 01 Jan 1800 to 12 Dec 9999)?
2.What is the necessity of dialog module for a Infotype?

Time Constraint A and B
Infotypes with time constraint A & B must have no more than one record. The system automatically assigns the record a validity period from January 01, 1800 through December 31, 9999. This validity period cannot be subdivided.
Infotype records with time constraint A CANNOT be deleted.
Infotype records with time constraint B CAN be deleted.
The difference is check the BOLD TEXT.
As for ur second question, Function modules/dialog modules helps calling infotypes when called from any custom program ,and allows you to perform similar actions/tasks that you would perform on them from direct maintainance. ex: create,change, delete etc. also performing the same on multiple infotypes in a single go using a them is easier than writing a code to manipulate each single infotype.
SAP exposed these functions to be exploited as there will come many situations in business scenarios where you require to work with them by writing custom code.

Hi All,
Can anybody tell me the difference between P/S Modules and Process modules? I came across these when I tried to implement a BTE. I could only do FIBF->Settings->P/S module and was successful in that. So please let me know what is the basic difference and also how to go about enhancement using Process modules.

and also is it mandatory for functional consultant to have gud knowledge and expert in usage of mentioned BADI and Functional Modules..

Hi Rajeev,
Your can view the function modules in transaction SE37.
And BADIs in SE18.Its not mandatory to know the function module details or Badi details for a functional consultant , but it always good to have a knowledge. It will reduce the task of technical consultant.
Like Function Module CRM_ORDER_READ, is used to get the details of any business transaction. Simlarly BADI ORDER_SAVE is called every time u save a transaction etc.

-          Each dialog in an SAP system is controlled by dynpros.A dynpros consists of a screen
And its flow logic and controls exactly one dialog step.
-          ABAP/4 module Pool.
     Each dynpro refers to exactly one ABAP/4 dialog program .Such a dialog program is also called a module pool ,since it consists of interactive modules.
