DIAPI for Product Tree
Hi all,
I found out that DI API doesn't provide property 'WareHouse' for Product Tree. It always gets the default WH from item master data. Using UI API, we can change the WH, whereas we cannot do that using DI API?
Does SBO know about this? Are they going to add the properties? If I add a new productTree using DI API then update the record in the database, is it recommended? will it cause any problem?
Advises and suggestions are appreciated. Thanks.
regards,
erwine
I wouldn't write to the database. It might not mess anything up, but it might, and you might not find it until it is too late.
I'd recommend - if the WH is taken from the Item, change the Item WH then change it back after you create the Product Tree.

DTW Production tree headers - price list
I have 2000+ production Bom's headers that I would like to update via DTW. I want to change the price list on the header. The field on the OITT file is PriceList but the DTW template for production trees does not have this field on it. I know the DTW production tree lines template has price list & price fields on them to update ITT1 but not the header. Does anyone know the field name to use to update the price list number on the headers by DTW please?
Hi Gordon,
Thanks for the reply. It wasn't the answer I would have liked but that's the way it is sometimes.

Another user-modified table 'Product Tree' (OITT) - Error message

Another user-modified table 'Product Tree' (OITT)
Hi
I get the following message when I try to add an item to a certain BOM:
- Another user-modified table 'Product Tree' (OITT) (ODBC -2039) [Message 131-183]
Do I have to log this problem with SAP or is there an 'easier' solution?
Thanks
FranzHi Franz,
It could be a possible Database correction issue. It would be better if the issue is opened to SAP Support for further help and investigation into the issue.

About ODMr for product design and development.
how ODMr can be used to find patterns of desingers' behaviors when they create new design for a product?
In general, designers tend to change their design to satisfy needs required by customers or technicians.
Is ODMr able to find which design parameters are most contributive to the performance of a product?
Is it ok to use Decision Tree if I have hypothesis space for desing parameters and training data?
I want to use ODMr to improve R&D process.
But I'm sure it is a smart way to use ODMr for product design and development.
If anyone has good idea or other algorithm available for that field, please let me know~~
Have fun~!I would think if you are going to run both of those programs at the same time, or even one at a time, a system with discrete graphic would be a better fit for you.
The next question is if you are doing web design do you really need a retina display. At this time only apple has them so everyother computer viewing your web designs wouldn't see the difference, if there is any to begin with. -

Hierarchy Query For Full Tree ?
Hi Everyone,
I want to write a hierarchy query which should give me the whole path starting from root node to each individual nodes by passing value of any individual tree member. below is the sample data and the output what i am expecting. and also the output what i am getting right now from my query.
CREATE TABLE RELATION (PARENT VARCHAR2(1),CHILD VARCHAR2(1) PRIMARY KEY);
--Data for the tree which starts from the root 'A'
Insert into RELATION (PARENT, CHILD) Values (NULL,'A');
Insert into RELATION (PARENT, CHILD) Values ('A', 'B');
Insert into RELATION (PARENT, CHILD) Values ('A', 'C');
Insert into RELATION (PARENT, CHILD) Values ('B', 'D');
Insert into RELATION (PARENT, CHILD) Values ('B', 'E');
Insert into RELATION (PARENT, CHILD) Values ('D', 'F');
Insert into RELATION (PARENT, CHILD) Values ('C', 'G');
--Data for the tree which starts from the root 'H'
Insert into RELATION (PARENT, CHILD) Values (NULL,'H');
Insert into RELATION (PARENT, CHILD) Values ('H', 'I');
Insert into RELATION (PARENT, CHILD) Values ('H', 'J');
Expected Output by passing values as 'C' which gives the whole tree where the node C is present:
A
A->B
A->C
A->B->D
A->B->E
A->C->G
A->B->D->F
My Query:
select
sys_connect_by_path(child,'->') tree
from
relation
--where (parent ='C' or child='C')
start with
parent is null
connect by
prior child = parent
order by tree;
Output of my query:
->A
->A->B
->A->B->D
->A->B->D->F
->A->B->E
->A->C
->A->C->G
->H
->H->I
->H->J
I am not able to add the condition for the query so that i can get only rows of the tree where the nod 'C' is present. i am just getting whole data from the table with all the unwanted trees.
Can anyone please help me in getting the correct output.
Thank you in advance.odie_63 wrote:

Problem Posting Receipt From Production and Issue for Production
Hi Everyone,
I am posting Receipt from Production and Issue for Production through DIAPI in SAP Business One 2007A SP00 PL03.
I am using following lines of code
oDocument.Lines.SetCurrentLine(0);
oDocument.Lines.BaseEntry = int.Parse(BaseEntry);
oDocument.Lines.Quantity = double.Parse(Quantity);
lRetCode = oDocument.Add();
The Document adds perfectly but when I open the document in SAP Business One i am not able to see the Order Number at Line level on which this document was Based.
I identified the problem being Order Number Column being binded to BaseRef field hence form is not able to Show the Order Number and we cannot set BaseRef via DIAPI since the property to set that field is not exposed.
I donot want to update the table through a Recordset Update Query. I would appreciate if the property to set that field is exposed by SAP or any other workaround can be put forward by anyone who has faced the same problem.
Thanks
KapilDo you need to set
oDocument.Lines.BaseType = 17 (if this is sales order)
and then baseentry = baseentry....etc
If you bind the base entry correctly it should alwasy shows the base document on both database as well as front end. I have never had any problem with this

About the support of commsuite 7 for two tree LDAP
Hi all,
We are giong to move our old IMS LDAP (ver 5.2) to a new hardware with DS version 6.3.1. Existing DS version 5.2 holds enterprise
data in a two tree structure. ( Ex : dc=example,dc=com and o=isp) . Both trees carry user data. Documents released for
commsuite 7 says the following,
"Messaging Server and Calendar Server have introduced a one-tree structure, where there is no Domain Component (DC) Tree.
All domain information is held in domain nodes in the Organization Tree."
Paralley to the LDAP move the IMS version will also be upgraded to commsuite7. In this scenario how can I manage
this whole process with the existenace of two tree structure. Any document regarding this issue?
Appreciate your guidance..........
Thanksnusagnar wrote:
### User data should not exist in the Domain Component tree.
Yes. True. I knew it. Sorry about my bad terminology used in writing the sentence " Both trees
carry user data.". Think this two-tree structure as a one configured properly. As I obeserved
( In Installation log files) this system uses schema 2. Not schema 1. How can I confirm which schema it used?Which system are you referring to? The iMS5.2 system or the Comm-Suite-7 system?
iMS5.2 only supported Schema 1.
For Comm-Suite-7 you can check by running:
-bash-3.00# ldapsearch -b "o=comms-config" objectclass=sunCommsMetaData
version: 1
dn: cn=CommServers,o=comms-config
objectClass: top
objectClass: sunCommsMetaData
sunkeyvalue: dssetup_ver=6.4
sunkeyvalue: dssetup_rev=5.05
sunkeyvalue: dcsuffix=o=isp
sunkeyvalue: ugsuffix=o=isp
sunkeyvalue: mlsuffix=o=mlusers
sunkeyvalue: schematype=2
cn: CommServersNote: "schematype=2"
### Which documents? Please provide the URL.
Please read the title " Changes in the DIT Structure" in
http://wikis.sun.com/display/CommSuite/Understanding+Communications+Suite+Product+Requirements+and+Considerations
If you are using Access Manager then you need to use Schema 2. If you aren't using Access Manager then you can use Schema 1 or Schema 2. This is clearly stated in the "Schema Requirements" section of that document.
### Schema 2 is a single-tree structure. Comm-Suite-7 supports Schema 1.
I understood it differently in this way after referring the doc above. Both schema 1 and 2 supports one-tree
and two-tree systems.( I can create a new suffix with DC components ( Ex: dc=example,dc=com) in DS version 6.3
with schema 2 ).I haven't come across any customers who are using a two-tree Schema 2 environment. So going down this path is potentially risky.
But support for two-tree system depends on the LDAP parameters specified when preparing the DS
using comm_dssetup.pl. Can you please guide me to find a good document on this?I don't understand your issue. If you are preparing a fresh Directory Server install with the comm_dssetup.pl tool and you want to use schema 1, then simply choose schema 1 when asked.
### Lets imagine there is a two tree structure ( whether it is schema1 or schema2 will depend on your next reply )
and required to migrate to a DS system with schema 2 for commsuite 7. What is the possibility of doing it ? Do you have a specific requirement for using Schema 2 or not?

Error during goods receipt of Finished goods for production order
hi friends
pls help me iam struggle this issue and mentioned the issue .
when i do goods receipt for production order system getting error like
No price could be determined for material/batch FG/ plant ZTP
Message no. CK 465
Diagnosis
The system could not calculate a price for material/batch FG/ in plant
ZTP for valuation view 0, because none of the valuation strategies in
valuation variant 007 was successful.
System Response
User-defined error management enables you to specify whether the message
is an error message, a warning message or an information message.
o If you have defined the message as a warning message or an
information message, the costing item will be entered in the cost
estimate with a value of zero.
If you have defined the message as an error message, the cost
estimate contains an error or errors.
- In the case of a material cost estimate, the system sets the
status KF.
- If it is a cost estimate without quantity structure, or base
object cost estimate (that is, a unit cost estimate), the
system cannot proceed with costing until you have corrected the
errors.
If the system issues a termination message, the cost estimate cannot
be processed, and processing is terminated.
procedure
o Check the master data for material/batch FG/ in plant ZTP.
o If you have authorization for Customizing, check the valuation
strategy for materials in valuation variant 007.
Note
If the message is a warning message or an information message, there is
a danger that materials with errors will be ignored by the system.
If, because of this, you issue a warning message and at the same time
include materials with a zero value in cost estimates, you can make the
following settings for these materials in the costing view of the
material master:
1. Enter a very low price in the planned price 1, 2 or 3 fields
manually, for instance 0.01 USD. These prices are used for costing
purposes only; they are not read by other applications.
2. Enter the highest price unit possible, for example 10000.
Note: If you enter a new price unit that is higher than the costing
lot size, the system increases the costing lot size accordingly.
3. Change the valuation strategy, such as strategy 4, where you could
enter the planned price field in which you entered the low price.
The system now costs as follows:
Using the valuation strategy, the system finds planned price 1, 2 or
3. Due to the low price and high price unit, the system rounds the
value to zero. However, the cost estimate still obtains status KA
(free of errors), and no error message is issued.
This procedure can be used for all materials that have caused error
message CK465 to be issued.

dinesh

IPC pricing gross value for products in catalog
Hello all,
In ISA b2b application I need to add a new column with gross value for products in catalog. Here is how I've tryed :
</i>
<!-- CBI Added gross price -->
<td align="right" >
<%IPCItem priceRef2;
try {
priceRef2 = (IPCItem) item.getItemPrice().getPriceInfo()
.getPricingItemReference();
if (priceRef2 != null) {
DimensionalValue grossValue = priceRef2
.getGrossValue();
%>
<%=grossValue.getValueAsString() + " "
+ grossValue.getUnit()%>
<% } else {
%><isa:translate key="z_catalog.isa.nogrossvalue"/> <% }
} catch (Exception e) {
%><isa:translate key="z_catalog.isa.ipcexception"/>
<%} %>
</td>
<!-- CBI Added gross price -->
</i>
The problem is that the gross value is the same with the net value.
I've try also using <i>item.getItemPrice().getPriceInfo().getAllPriceInfos()</i>
where item is WebCatItem, and retrive an array of PriceInfo (s) with only one PriceInfo object which has the type <b>netValue</b>.
Then in the backendobject-config.xml I've modify the priceTypes attribute value for BO "CatPriceCalc", but without any succes. Here is the snippet:
<i><businessObject type="PriceCalc" name="CatPriceCalc" className="com.sapmarkets.isa.backend.crm.webcatalog.pricing.PriceCalculatorCRMIPC" connectionFactoryName="JCO" defaultConnectionName="ISAStateless">
<params>
<!-- CBI gross value -->
<b><param name="priceTypes" value="totalNetValue totalGrossValue"/></b>
<!-- for allowed values see defined constants in com.sapmarkets.isa.backend.boi.webcatalog.pricing.PriceType -->
<param name="doItemCalls" value="true"/>
<!-- set this to true if you want to have additional call of CRM_ISA_PRICING_ITMDATA_GET when doing item pricing -->
</params></i>
Do you know how to solve this problem? Or why is not working.
Any help (soultion, docs, links) is very wellcome and rewarded.
Thank you
BogdanHi Bodgan,
It seems that some values like tax, discount are not being calculated by IPC as required parameters are not sufficient enough to differentiate between the two. You can run catalog pricing analysis and see what are the gross and net pricing value. You can update the extra parameters to IPC by extending the class you mentioned and modify backend config xml file to use that class for ISA.

IPC Pricing routine for Product Family Margin in Quotation is not working
Hi,
I am working on the IPC Pricing Routine to calculate Item's Product Family Margin in the Quotation.
Process followed:
Step 1: Created a Group condition ZPFM for Product Family Margin and assigned to the pricing procedure.
Step 2: Created a Value Routine to determine ZPFM's Condition Rate and Condition Value.
Logic:
1. Collect (Sum Of) the Cost (ZSVC) and the Subtotal 3 of the items which are in same Material Group.
2. Assign the ZPFM Condition Value = Sum of Subtotal 3 - Cost.
Issue: The condition value for ZPFM is calculating correct for all line items except the last item. I am getting some junk value always to the last item. If I delete the last time, again next last item is giving wrong value. The calculation value in the routine debugging log (SM53) is showing correct value. However, assigning the wrong value. No other routines have been assigned to this condition type in the pricing procedure.
Routine Code:
package stanley.pricing.userexits.val;
import java.math.BigDecimal;
import com.sap.spe.pricing.customizing.PricingCustomizingConstants;
import com.sap.spe.pricing.transactiondata.PricingTransactiondataConstants;

uelogger.writeLogDebug(subTotal3Accrual+"-"+conditionValueZCVCAccrual+" = "+conditionValueZPFM);
uelogger.writeLogDebug("Condition Rate :"+conditionRateZPFM);
pricingCondition.setConditionRateValue(conditionRateZPFM.setScale(2,BigDecimal.ROUND_HALF_UP));
pricingCondition.setConditionValue(conditionValueZPFM.setScale(2,BigDecimal.ROUND_HALF_UP));
return null;
return null;Hi,
I think you should change xkwert variable instead of komv-kwert.
Standard routines does the same.
Aslo check in SPRO settings that routine is attached and
getting triggered by putting break-point.

SRM 4.0- How to set the default values for product type (01) only for SC
The radio button Service should not be visible.
Also for search help (e.g. search for internal products) where a search should only be possible for product type 01 (goods). The system should not display the product type and internally always search for goods only.
How to set the default values for product type (01) only for SC
We needs to use Search help BBPH_PRODUCT which having parameter PRODUCT_TYPE
Here we can set defalut value 01 but it is not correct one since same search help is using several places.
We need to limit the search help results only for SC.
Kindly help out me ASAP.The easiest way to set defautl values is to edit the batch class.
Goto the characteiristic and go to update values.
In here you probably have something like 0 - 100 as a spec range.
On the next line enter the default value within this range. At the end of the line, click in the box in the column labelled "D". This indicates the defautl value for the characteristic.
If you need to you can do this in the material classification view as well.
Just to be clear, these values will only show up in the batch record. You can not have defautl values in resutls recording screens.
