Did BSP limit function call?

We have create a simple BSP application, there we call a function 'LANGUAGE_CODE_SAP_TO_ISO' first in a page. But if we call another function 'READ_TEXT' continuly, the later one never work anymore! Whatz up with our BSP?

Hi Madison,
Like Craig said, please remember to give points. It's a way to say "thanks" for helpful responses.
See: </people/mark.finnern/blog/2004/08/10/spread-the-love for directions.
Click on the Yellow Star icon in each reply.
You can give:
1 - 10 pointer (solves problem, marks as answered)
2 - 6 pointers (very helpful)
Lots of 2 pointers (helpful)
This time I did it for you, but you can change it.
Cheers,

  • UDPWrite in a loop. "A Windows Sockets function call returned an unexpected error."

    Hello together,
    i use UDP Support Library in NI CVI 9.0. When i wait for receiving a packet at the pc to send then a packet from the pc, the functions UDPRead and UDPWrite work fine. If i want to test the maximum throughput, i put the UDPWrite in a loop, but then an error occurs. It is "kUDP_UnexpectedWinsockError"
    Error Popup:
    "NON-FATAL RUN-TIME ERROR:   "main.c", line 53, col 22, thread id
    0x00000C18:   Library function error (return value == -6822
    [0xffffe55a]). A Windows Sockets function call returned an unexpected
    error."
    Line 53:
    status = UDPWrite (channel, 60100, "192.168.1.10", pOutputBuffer, 1458);
    the whole loop:
    while(1)
    status = UDPWrite (channel, 60100, "192.168.1.10", pOutputBuffer, 1458);
    counter++;
    if(counter>50)
    break;
    else{;}
    The error occurs after 3-16 packets have been sent. If i step through the programm, no error occurs. So i guess its because the UDPWrite command is invoked too fast. pOutputBuffer has static data. I could use a delay in the loop, but then i dont know how to configure for maximal throughput.
    Any ideas how to avoid this error?
    Regards Florian

    Hello and thank you for your answer. Sorry that i reply a month later.
    I dont know what you mean by "let 'er rip approach". Do you mean something like:
    status = UDPWrite (channel, 60100, "192.168.1.10", pOutputBuffer, 1458);
    if(status==0)
     counter++;
    else
      Delay(0.00005);
    I did not yet try to put the packet number in the payload, but there is just a 30 cm crossover cable between the two devices, no switch, no router. So the sequence should not be interruptet. And even if they arrive in chaos, i dont mind.
    I have contacted the NI support 2 weeks ago, but no response yet.
    I did some tests with a delay between the execution of UDPWrite(). The code:
    float time = 0.0;
     for(i = 1; i < 1000; i++)
      status = UDPWrite (channel, 60100, "192.168.1.10", pOutputBuffer, 1458);
      time = 1.0 / i;
      Delay(time);
    The results:
    For i between 1 and 1000: no error, the speed of the last ten packets was about 6.5 MBit/s
    For i between 1000 and 2000: error occured at i = 1585 (variable time in Delay was 0.0006313), the speed of the last ten packets was about 8 MBit/s
    Then i put some constant values in Delay and ran 100 UDPWrite iterations:
    Delay(0.0006): 7.48 MBit/s
    Delay(0.0001): 10.7 MBit/s
    Delay(0.00001): error occured at i=31, speed of 31 packets was 12.0 MBit/s
    Delay(0.00008): 100 of 100 packets, speed 10.9 MBit/s
    Delay(0.00005): error at i=41, speed of 41 packets 11.1 MBit/s

    you have used a method that was implemented in JRE1.2 -- IE's native JVM 1.1.4 or 1.1.5 . You can do one of two things:
    1) convert your html file to make it use a new Java plug-in, or
    2) change your code to call a comparble method that is available before 1.2

  • Error "pure virtual function call"

    Hi,
    Windows7, PCI-GPIB, NI-488.2 Version 3.1.1, Visual Studio 2010 C++ Application.
    Randomly between 10 minuntes and 4 hours I get the error "pure virtual function call"
    With the debbuger attached to the process in error I identified NI4882.dll as the source of the error.
    Then I deinstalled NI-488.2 Version 3.1.1 and installed NI488.2 July 2000. Then my application runs without any error!
    I tried to attach the source files which represents the interface between my application and the NI-4882 driver but it did not work for the C++ file.
    Any help appreciated.
    Best Regards
    Walter

  • Error 0x80040707 - DLL function call crashed QTInstallCode

    Installing QuickTime Stand-Alone QuickTimeInstaller.exe Version 7.0.4.0 I get the following error and QuickTime will not load or function:
    Unhandled Exception
    Error Number: 0x80040707 - DLL function call crashed: QTInstallCode.QuickTimePostInstallProc
    Setup will now terminate.

    I was able to solve this, but I had to uninstall all instances of iTunes, ipod and QuickTime, delete their directories, use http://support.microsoft.com/kb/290301/
    to delete the installations of each and then use msconfig to remove them from the Startup.
    After that I rebooted and did a new install with the QuickTime Stand Alone and it worked!

  • Validation of recursive function call fails

    We want to use a call to a recursive function from a HTMLDB application. It should be used in a page region to generate a query string ("PL/SQL function body returning SQL query"). Everything works fine with a call to a non-recursive function. The recursive function also works fine when called from SQL+.
    After pressing "Apply changes" on "HTML DB Home>Builder - Application 148>Page Definition>Edit Page Region"-page I get the following error message after a long delay:
    Function returning SQL query: Query cannot be parsed within the Builder. If you believe your query is syntactically correct, check the ''generic columns'' checkbox below the region source to proceed without parsing
    (ORA-00600: internal error code, arguments: [kohdtf048], [], [], [], [], [], [], [])
    I assume that the validation routine follows the recursion until the memory limit is reached.
    Please give me a hint how to solve this problem.
    DB version: 10.1.0.2.0
    HTMLDB version: 1.5.0.00.33
    running on Win2000 server

    Since the original function is confidential, I have created a simple one showing the same behavior (and the same error). Termination does not depend on session state:
    Called function (to replace spaces with #):
    create or replace function MF_Test
         p_querystring     varchar2
         return varchar2 is
         v_position integer;
    begin
         v_position:=instr(p_querystring,' ');
         if v_position=0 then     /* termination condition */
              return p_querystring;
         else
              return substr(p_querystring,1,v_position-1)||'#'||MF_Test(substr(p_querystring,v_position+1));
         end if;
    end MF_Test;
    calling function (from the page region, to generate a query string):
    declare
    q varchar2(500);
    begin
    q:='select * from hardware where model=''';
    q:=q||mf_test(:P3_SEARCH);
    q:=q||'''';
    end
    Validation seems not to terminate in case of recursive function calls.
    Thanks for your input.

  • Transaction iView( Tcode) Error: Function call in SAP GUI with errors

    Hey Guys:
                  I use Transaction iView to show the ABAP application on Portal. The application works to import data from client to BW. After I fill all the information and execute the application, the system returns the error message " Function call in SAP GUI with errors".
    The ABAP application works fine on SAP GUI, so it should not be the program problem.
    Any Suggestion for this will be nice. Thanks for your help.

    Hey Duy:
            Thanks for your response. I check the servers which i have access, and all of them cannot work correctly.
    First, other iViews(Dynpro,BW Report,BSP,KM...) work fine.
    Second, our backend system is a BW server.
    I try to do so on our EP production and development, also connect them to our BW production and development servers. All of those are failed and have the same problem.
    The t-code comes from our abap program and register on BW server, and hte program works fine when I use SE38 to execute it.
    PS. The Transaction iView works fine before, but I have no idea why it just crash now.
    Please let me know if you have any suggestion about this.

  • EREC-BSP-How to call a bsp application from another bsp application

    Hi Experts,
    In E-Rec one of my bsp application zapp_e_ext calling another standard bsp application hrrcf_searchhlp when user click on search help button.
    i made a zcopy (zhrrcf_serchhlp) of std application hrrcf_searchhlp,and did some changes,
    now the problem is how to replace the std application with zapplication so that zapplication should be called in place of std application when user click on search button.
    Cheers,

  • Photoshop CC r6025 pure virtual function call

    I recently signed up for Creative Cloud and shortly after that I started to recieve the r6025 pure virtual function call error with PS CC crashing. This will happen with both the x86 and x64 versions of PS CC. It does not happen every time, only about 30%-40% of the time. Usually, but not always, a restart of the program solved the problem.I performed an unstall of PS CC but that did not solve my problem. Prior to switching to Creative Cloud I had no problems whatsoever with PS CS6. This issue started after installing CC and updating PS CS6 to Photoshop CC. I do not think this is a hardware or OS problem but FGOS I an running the following:
    OS - Windows 8 Pro x64
    RAM - 16GB DDR3
    Video - NVIDIA GeForce GT 640 with 2048 MB of VRAM
    CPU - Intel Core i7 2600
    Plug-ins - onOne, Nik, Imagenomic, Topaz Labs, Alien Skin, Unified Color and a few others. All of these were installed and running fine before the CC switch.
    Does anyone have any ideas as this has become very frustrating for me.
    Thanks

    Thanks guys. I'll reply to your messages in the above order.
    System Log -
    For all these photoshop.exe is the faulting application both x86 and 64-bit. I havent seperated them out (x86 vs x64) but casn do that if you want. I mostly use the x86 version of Photoshop simply because a couple of my favorite plug=ins don't work in the 64-bit version.
    Faulting modules -
    unknown - 2 times
    MSVCR100.dll - 9 times
    KERNELBASE.dll - 3 times
    MultiProcessorService.8BX_unloaded - 1 time
    CreativeCloud.exe showed up once as the faulting application and the faulting module was VulcanWrapper.exe.
    FGFOS the above are a mix of Photoshop CS6 and Photoshop CC. That came about because I was running PS CS6 when I signed up for Creative Cloud and my version of CS6 was upgraded to the Extended version. About a week ago I uninstalled then reinstalled Photoshop and this time the version was Photoshop CC.
    With regard to the plug-ins I use the vendor's installation program. I have a few others that are just an *.8bf file that I copied to Photoshop's plug-in directory. Most, if not all, of this type of plug-in are my oldest plug-ins and are only used with Photoshop x86. I'll move these from Photoshop's plug-in directory first just because they will be the easiest to work with. If I get a crash while they are gone then I'll remove my other plug-ins.
    Again, thanks guys I do appreciate this. I've never run into this particular issue before so it a good, albeit frustrating, learning process.

  • Again, the R6025 - pure virtual function call

    Hey everyone,
    Ive done an extensive search on this forum and google and found that this
    Runtime Error! Program: C:\Program Files\Adobe Audition 3.0\Audition.exe R6025 - pure virtual function call
    Is still common. I experienced one myself once again while mixing a project which i hadnt save for a while!
    I was looking for the cause of the error but it seems that everyone with the similar error had different issues and a clear solution hasnt been found.
    Is there anyone out there who knows what the cause of this error is and what it exactly means?? And of course if it can be fixed...
    Gr. Dirk

    Thanks for the reply Stan
    My guess was incompatible VST's as well. I use them a lot but not always get this message. Before i did a complete reinstall of vista and thus AA3 and the plugins. Ive been running AA3 without any oblems for a while now but when i was mixing (maybe 30 tracks with 15 different VSTs) this message showed up again and AA crashed. To be more specific, the song was playing and i was zooming out with the middle mouse button in the main panel. All the pugins were already running like the day before and i hadnt made any changes yet. So just listening and zooming. Thats why this error seems so random to me. Also i didnt install any new vsts lately.
    Suppose it is a bad VST, how do i find the culprit?

    【アドビ米国 ユーザフォーラム情報紹介について】

    OK, just to more deeper explain,
    From my debugging moves looks like there is a question about #targetengine "session" vs. window ("palette") vs. open.file
    The last thing script do is showing find results in window "palette" and allow user to open chosen file from list box.
    (as I wrote, there is no errors when I run script, use a list from "palette" to open file (files), close "palette" or keep it opened, use InCopy for further purpose.)
    Error is shown when I close InCopy, but...
    1. When I did not open any doc from "palette" - there is no error.
    2. When I opened some file - doesn't matter if I closed it, left open, left "palette" open or close - and try to quit application - error is shown.
    So, and thats a beginner question, if my #targetengine "session" script open some file and user (not script) close it - there is some "handler" active which involves this kind of error when application is going to quit?
    Or, closing my #targetengine "session" script, which I understand as closing "palette", should proceed some more procedures then only win.close()?
    Thx for your patience

  • How to limit incoming call on B-ACD CME?

    I have configure B-ACD on CME 4 and its working. But I have a problem with incoming call from outside (PSTN). I set queue-len for 30 queue. But on busy hour, some call hear only ring tone. No greeting tone or busy tone. When I check call session, its only 10 or 15 session.
    How to limit incoming call, let say, for 10 calls only? The 11th call will receive busy tone.
    Here are my config:
    application
    service queue flash:app-b-acd-2.1.2.2.tcl
    param queue-len 30
    param queue-manager-debugs 1
    param number-of-hunt-grps 1
    param aa-hunt2 0
    service aa flash:app-b-acd-aa-2.1.2.2.tcl
    paramspace english index 1
    param number-of-hunt-grps 1
    param handoff-string aa
    param dial-by-extension-option 1
    paramspace english language en
    param max-time-vm-retry 1
    param max-extension-length 7
    param aa-pilot 2999
    paramspace english location flash:
    param second-greeting-time 30

    param call-retry-timer 15
    param max-time-call-retry 60
    param voice-mail 0
    param service-name queue
    FYI: I have no voice mail. 'param voice-mail 0' is to send unanswered call to my operator.
    Regards,
    Iwan

    Hi Iwan,
    To restrict the number of calls to the application you need to configure only the appropriate number (10 in your example) of dial-peers to point to the AA Pilot number. Have a look;
    Set Up Incoming Dial Peers for AA Pilot Numbers
    In this task, you associate dial peers for incoming calls with the AA service that you want them to use.
    Cisco Unified CME B-ACD is available for outside calls through voice ports and trunks, for which dial peers must be set up. When you set up a dial peer, you use the service command to associate it with the name of the Cisco Unified CME B-ACD AA service that you want callers to that dial peer to reach.
    Note You must configure a dial peer for each incoming DID voice port.
    To determine how many ports or trunks you must have for your Cisco Unified CME B-ACD service, consider the following:
    Total number of phones across all ephone hunt groups
    Total number of slots in the queues across all queues
    Total number of PSTN ports feeding into the queues
    The number of simultaneous calls that Cisco Unified CME B-ACD can handle is limited by the number of PSTN ports, but these ports may not always be in use. For example, you could have three queues with ten slots per queue, but configure only 10 ports instead of 30 because you do not expect the three queues to ever be full at one time.
    From this good doc;
    http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/sw/voicesw/ps4625/products_configuration_guide_chapter09186a00805f2305.html#wp1003323
    Hope this helps!

  • How to get parameter information on DLL function call (CVI) in TestStand?

    Hi,
     I wrote a simple Instrument Driver in CVI, and it has 3 parameters Voltage, Current, Channel.
    I made a DLL in order to call this function in TestStand as an action.
    That works fine, the only problem I have is that it shows my function as DC_Conf (arg1, arg2, arg 3) and I only get the type information like double double int.
    I do not get the parameter names Voltage, Current, Channel...
    How can I get this information to be displayed in TestStand so I know which parameter arg 1-3 is Voltage,Current,Channel in case I forgot?
    or
    Is there a way to display the help text of the driver in TestStand?
    I tried clicking on the (?) button next to the function call but it did not do anything...
    My TestStand is version 4.1
    Thanks...Ness

    Ness,
    When TestStand populates the parameter information, it does so by looking at the dll's type library.  CVI automatically creates a type library for a dll based on the function's signature, which can include the parameter names.  However, if the function prototype does not contain variable names, then CVI cannot include names in the type library.
    You can define your own type library to directly control the information available to TestStand from your dll.  If you want to define your own type library, you can do so using a .fp file.  This will allow you to use complex data types (such as structs), and to rename your parameters.
    Here's a KnowlegeBase describing the process: Embedding Type Libraries in a LabWindows/CVI DLL for use in TestStand
    Either solution proposed here will work, and they each have tradeoffs:
    You can definte the variable names in the function prototype.  This keeps the functions self-documenting, and is the easiest solution.
    You can create a .fp file and define your own type library.  This allows you the most control over exactly what you will see in TestStand, but requires you to create a new file, and to keep that new file up to date if you make any changes to your source code.

  • How to pass a JSP var to a Script function called in a netui:checkbox

    How to pass a JSP variable to a Java Script function called in a netui:checkbox onSelect?
    I have a requirement where based on the checkBox selected or deselected in a repeater tag I would have to select or deselect other checkboxes in a netui:form. I am trying to pass the index or unique name of the checkbox to the JavaScript function. When I try this code I am getting a Syntax Error!! and getting a " item undefined" in the javascript. This works when I use just the html form tag but when I use the <netui:form> tag I am facing this issue. Any help would be highly appreciated.
    function selectACheckBoxOnClick(name) {
    alert ("called selectACheckBoxOnClick ");
    alert ("called name "+name);
    <netui-data:repeater dataSource="{pageFlow.unregisteredContractAssetsDTOArr}">
    <netui-data:repeaterItem>
    <% String checkboxName = "selectACheckBox_"+i;
    String serialNum = "serialNum_"+i;
    String hidenboxName = "hiddenACheckBox_"+i;
    String loopNo = new Integer(i).toString();
    System.out.println("Loop String :"+ loopNo);
    System.out.println("CheckBox Name:"+ checkboxName);
    System.out.println("serialNum :"+serialNum); %>
    <tr bgcolor="#ffffff">
    <td align="center">
    <netui:checkBox dataSource="{container.item.selectedAssetFlag}" onSelect="selectACheckBoxOnClick(<%=checkboxName%>);" tagId="<%=checkboxName%>"/>
    </td>
              <td class="small"><netui:label value="{container.item.model}"/></td>
              <td class="small">
    <netui:hidden dataSource="{container.item.splitAssetNo}" tagId="<%=serialNum%>"/>
    <netui:label value="{container.item.serial}"></netui:label></td>
              <td class="small"><netui:label value="{container.item.equpimentId}"/></td>
              <td class="small">
    <netui-data:getData resultId="siteId" value="{container.item.siteNo}" />
    <%String siteId = (String) pageContext.getAttribute("siteId");%>
    <netui:anchor action="getSiteLevelAssets" formSubmit="true">
    <netui:parameter value="{container.item.siteNo}" name="siteNo" />
    <netui:label value="{container.item.siteNo}" />
    </netui:anchor>
    </td>     </tr>
    <%i++;%>
    </netui-data:repeaterItem>
    </netui-data:repeater>
    This code works within a form:
                   <td align=center>
                        <input type=image name="unassign" onclick="javascript:unassignReplacement(<%=replacementSupply.getPMSupplyId()%>)" src="<%=request.getContextPath()%>/images/bt_sm_x.gif" border=0 alt="Unassign">
                        </td>
    Thanks,
    Salome

    hi
    i did not go thru your code completly
    but u can use the following for your problem
    the checkbox in the repeater must have unique TagID
    counter = 0; (initialize)
    <netui-data:repeaterItem>
    <netui:checkBox dataSource="" tagId='<%="count"+String.valueOf(counter)%>' onClick="some function()" />
    <%counter++;%>
    </netui-data:repeaterItem>
    here if u have 3 checkbox
    They will have Tagid's as count1 , count2 and count3
    now in the javascript somefunction()
    use the following line
    for(j=0;j<<%=counter%>;j++)
    document.forms(0)[getNetuiTagName"count"+j)].checked=false;
    }
