How to limit incoming call on B-ACD CME?
I have configure B-ACD on CME 4 and its working. But I have a problem with incoming call from outside (PSTN). I set queue-len for 30 queue. But on busy hour, some call hear only ring tone. No greeting tone or busy tone. When I check call session, its only 10 or 15 session.
How to limit incoming call, let say, for 10 calls only? The 11th call will receive busy tone.
Here are my config:
application
service queue flash:app-b-acd-2.1.2.2.tcl
param queue-len 30
param queue-manager-debugs 1
param number-of-hunt-grps 1
param aa-hunt2 0
service aa flash:app-b-acd-aa-2.1.2.2.tcl
paramspace english index 1
param number-of-hunt-grps 1
param handoff-string aa
param dial-by-extension-option 1
paramspace english language en
param max-time-vm-retry 1
param max-extension-length 7
param aa-pilot 2999
paramspace english location flash:
param second-greeting-time 30
param welcome-prompt _bacd_welcome.au
param call-retry-timer 15
param max-time-call-retry 60
param voice-mail 0
param service-name queue
FYI: I have no voice mail. 'param voice-mail 0' is to send unanswered call to my operator.

Iwan
Hi Iwan,
To restrict the number of calls to the application you need to configure only the appropriate number (10 in your example) of dial-peers to point to the AA Pilot number. Have a look;
Set Up Incoming Dial Peers for AA Pilot Numbers
In this task, you associate dial peers for incoming calls with the AA service that you want them to use.
Cisco Unified CME B-ACD is available for outside calls through voice ports and trunks, for which dial peers must be set up. When you set up a dial peer, you use the service command to associate it with the name of the Cisco Unified CME B-ACD AA service that you want callers to that dial peer to reach.
Note You must configure a dial peer for each incoming DID voice port.
To determine how many ports or trunks you must have for your Cisco Unified CME B-ACD service, consider the following:
Total number of phones across all ephone hunt groups
Total number of slots in the queues across all queues
Total number of PSTN ports feeding into the queues
The number of simultaneous calls that Cisco Unified CME B-ACD can handle is limited by the number of PSTN ports, but these ports may not always be in use. For example, you could have three queues with ten slots per queue, but configure only 10 ports instead of 30 because you do not expect the three queues to ever be full at one time.

HT5957 How to reject incoming call.?
In os6XXX it was enough to slide up and reject button was appear. In os7 is only green button for receiving incomming call but there is no possibility to slide in order to get the button for reject incomming call. Why???
The call can be rejected by tapping the On/Off button, or double tapping to send immediately to VoiceMail.
As to why Apple removed that useful feature ????? -
How to fordware incoming calls at determinate hours
I have configured a time period at no officce hours. After that, I assigned it to a time shedule. Then I assigned it to a partition and the partition to a calling search space.
Now, I want a dial number of my net to be fordwared to another phone number out of my AVVID net at the no office hours that I have configured in the time period.
I don't know if this is the right way to do it.
Could you help me?.If you want to send all incoming calls to voice mail or another ext on non-business-hours please follow this procedure:
Lets assume that you want the phone to ring from 9 to 5:15 and the rest of the day and during the weekend it should go to voice mail or another extension, and that you have a range of extensions that you want to apply this configuration for, (3xxx).
1) configure time periods.
a) configure a time period, (ring hrs) from 9 to 5:15 from Monday to Friday.
b) configure a time period, (after hrs), from 5:15 to 00:00 from Monday to Friday.
c) configure a time period, (before hrs), from 00:00 to 8:00 from Monday to Friday.
d) configure a time period, (weekends), from 00:00 to 24:00 from Saturday to Sunday.
2) configure a time schedules.
a) configure a time schedule, (ring), and add the "ring hrs" time period.
b) configure a time schedule, (no ring), and add the "after hrs", the "before hrs" and the "weekends" time periods.
3) configure partitions.
a) configure a partition, (RingHrs), and add the time schedule "ring" to this new partition.
b) configure a partition, (NoRingHrs), and add the time schedule "no ring" to this new partition.
c) configure a partition, (PhoneTOD)
d) configure a partition, (CTI_TOD)
4) configure calling search spaces
a) add the partition "RingHrs" to the calling search spaces that would be able to reach the phone by checking the TOD, (you must apply this to the CSS of the GW if the TOD would apply for incoming calls, if the TOD would also apply for internal calls you must apply this to the CSS of the internal phones also)
b) add the partition "NoRingHrs" to the calling search spaces that would be able to reach the phone by checking the TOD, (you must apply this to the CSS of the GW if the TOD would apply for incoming calls, if the TOD would also apply for internal calls you must apply this to the CSS of the internal phones also)
c) add the partition "PhoneTOD" to the calling search spaces that would be able to reach the phone directly, without checking the TOD.
5) configure CTI
a) configure a CTI port or route point with an extension 3XXX, (or the extension itself, if this is for only 1 phone) and use the partition "CTI_TOD", configure the line as call forward all to the number you want to, (or check the CFA to voice mail checkbox)
6) configure translation patterns
a) configure a translation pattern, (3XXX), use the partition "RingHrs", and use a calling search space that has the partition "PhoneTOD" in it, (this would be the translation pattern that would be able to reach the phone).
b) configure a translation pattern, (3XXX), use the partition "NoRingHrs", and use a calling search space that has the partition "CTI_TOD" in it, (this would be the translation pattern that would NOT be able to reach the phone).
c) if you want to configure a 'bypass' for the TOD add a translation pattern, (1.3XXX), use partition none or another partition that can be reach by the user of this bypass, and use a calling search space that can reach the "PhoneTOD" partition. -

SIP incoming call, won't work (CME)
Hi all,
I'm facing a weird problem and the sip-provider can't help. I suppose there is a problem with the dial-peer/translation-rule but I can't figure it out...
There is a CME (c2800nm-ipvoice-mz.124-11.XW10.bin, CME Version 4.2(0)) with a
SIP trunk.
Outgoing calls are working (DID).
Incoming calls (all DID) are ringing on the same internal number.
The situation:
- external call on 0815440097 is ringing on the internal nr. 296 (should be 297)
- external call on 0815440096 is ringing on the internal nr. 296

Thank you for the reply.
After changing the "incoming called-number" I got the same output.
The weird think is, why the dial-peer debug shows the 0815440096 number, despite the right "to: number" in the SIP-Message.
Is there a problem with the "voice service voip" or "sip-ua"?
on the voice translation debug I see:
Match Rule=DP_MATCH_TO_URI; URI=sip:0815440097
Match Rule=DP_MATCH_FROM_URI; URI=sip:0819262424
But I guess the translation rule is maching this one:
Match Rule=DP_MATCH_INCOMING_DNIS; Called Number=0815440096
So how can the voice translation rule be set to map the entry DP_MATCH_TO_URI; URI=sip:0815440097
Thanks for the help.

Norbert

How to fix incoming call!?
I have installed NEW V4.91 on 6233,and when I chose video(3gp or mp4) as ringtone the people who are calling me,when I answer they can`t hear me but I can hear them! Anything allse is normall. Can anybody HELP me???
OK, I managed to resolve my problem. Here is what happened:
1. My application opened a socket and spawned a thread which listened on socket. Thread was blocked in socket.receive()
2. At one point (when dialog button is pressed) I wanted to stop a thread and close the socket so I called thread.interrupt()
3. In addition I was calling socket.close(), socket.bind() and socket.connect() but no messages came out of such socket
EXPLANATION: This is wrong cause thread listening on a socket should be terminated by a simple call to socket.close(). Java documentation clearly states that. Another mistake of mine was that I closed socket and wanted to reuse it by operations socket.bind() and socket.connect(). Turns out, once socket closed it can not be bound.
I hope this post helps someone in similar situation. -
how to block incoming calls on iphone
They really need an App .. native or not to block calls. I have tried with my provider and they offer a blocking service .. but only if the caller is advertising thier number. Therfore I can not block unknown or blocked numbers from calling me! These are the ones I really need to block... My wifes phone is one digit off mine .. last night at 3:30am we get called by a blocked number at the same time and of course .. no one on the other end... robocallers should be illegal.
If your in Canada I would suggest filing a complaint to the CRTC on the abuse of unknown/blocked numbers and our inability to block or even report them. I can only file a report if I have a phone number displayed I sent in my complaint this morning to them after finding out Rogers had no way for me to prevent these phone calls. -
Muting incoming call after latest 5.0.2 update
Hi! After updating my Z3C to Lollipop, I've noticed few drawbacks when it comes to smartband functionality. Despite (in my opinion) Sony bad decision of dropping their own Bluetooth unlock in favor of android smartlock, making using smartband for this extremely hard, I'm also quite irritated with how it handles incoming calls. Earlier I was able to shut the ringtone down by pressing the button on smrtband, now doing this results in phone switching to priority mode, but the ringtone is still playing. I'm not sure if this is happening from the latest update or since first lollipop software. Is someone experiencing the same behaviour? Maybe it is some update error. I'd be grateful if someone could check their devices!
Anyone facing the same problem? If someone could chceck please, i'll know then if it's only my device or not
