Difference between 2 UPLOAD events

Hello!
What is the difference between
Event.COMPLETE and
DataEvent.UPLOAD_COMPLETE_DATA.
I am uploading a file and currently am handling both. Problem
is I would like to know why and if both need handling.

Per the docs, "UPLOAD_COMPLETE_DATA" is:
"Dispatched after data is received from the server after a
successful upload. This event is not dispatched if data is not
returned from the server."
Use this event if your server is returning data from the file
upload.

Hello
These 2 load are performed for the data loading in CRM from other SAP system like ECC. Initial download is the activity that to be performed when you want to download the master data 1st time.
Delta load is performed automatically if we make any change in the master data records.

Generally FM 'ALSM_EXCEL_TO_INTERNAL_TABLE' is used for reading Excel sheet i.e, either row wise or column wise . where as WS_UPLOAD will read the entire data in to an internal table in a file format.

In simple words we can put it as..IF you need any user interaction.. i.e. if your logic is based upon how user interact with your application then use Action..
e.g. Buttons, dropdown UI elements...etc..
Means actions are act between user and your application.
But your application not only communicate with user.But also communicate with server too.
so to communicate with server you need and Event
Note. In Web Dynpro, events are called actions if they are sent from the client to the server.

Difference between albums and events

If I put pictures into albums from photo stream, will they be permanently saved in the album if I delete them from photo stream to save space on my devices. My iPhone is getting full and I worry that if I take pics off the phone they will disappear from the iPad. I use iCloud, are the back ups separate for each device?
What is the difference between an event and an album that I create?!
Do you get how confused I am!?!!

iPhoto on your iphone correct?
It works pretty much the same as on the mac. Albums are a collage of pictures you want to save. You can then publish if you'd like. An event is kinda the same thing but when I add pictures to my mac or phone you can organize folder by an event ie. Birthday, Graduation, Trip, etc. I typically organize first on my mac then sync iPhoto to the device (iPhone).
Photo Stream saves the last 30 days of pictures on all iOs device and macs. The pictures do take up room on the phone but you can actually disable that feature on your iphone using Setting, iCloud, turn off Photo streaming. The pictures will be removed from the iphone but will still appear on all Photo Streaming devices that still have Photo Streaming enabled.
I hope that makes sense.
The pictures are only permanently saved from Photo Stream (PS) by clicking the photo in PS and save to an event. I would do this before you turn off Photo Stream on the iphone device.

Difference between ALBUM and EVENT?

Can someone please tell me what the difference is between an ALBUM and an EVENT?
I am a little confused as to what the actual differences are.

An Event is a folder of images with a fancy icon in the iPhoto Window. The contents of the particular Event are decided by the date and time of the Photos. Events are a view of the Library. So, every photo is in an Event because every photo is in the Library. That means if you want to have the same photo in two Events it uses twice the disk space.
An Album is an arbitrary collection of Photos - My Favourites, Pics of My Dog from various dates and so on. Photos in an Album simply reference the pics in the Library - so a Photo can be in any number of Albums and use no extra disk space at all.
One way to look at it: Events are basic, automatic, crude organisation. It's all date and time.
Albums allow you to select, to group on other bases - like the content, the quality, the importance of the photo. So, go to a wedding, shoot 300 photos. They all go into the Event. Then pick the best 50 and make an Album from them. Be nice to your friends. Only show them the Album
FWIW:
I use Events simply as big buckets of Photos: Spring 08, July - Nov 06 are typical Events in my Library. I use keywords and Smart Albums extensively. I title the pics broadly.

Where basis (The When is in the photos's Exif metadata). I also rate the pics on a 1 - 5 star basis.
Using this system I can find pretty much find any pic in my 40k library in a couple of seconds.
So, for example, I have a batch of pics titled 'Seattle 08' and a typical keywording might include: John, Anne, Landscape, mountain, trees, snow. With a rating included it's so very easy to find the best pics we took at Mount Rainier.
File -> New Smart Album
set it to 'All"
title contains Seattle
keyword is mountain
keyword is snow
rating is 5 stars
Or, want a chronological album of John from birth to today?
New Smart Album
Keyword is John
Set the View options to Sort By Date Ascending
Want only the best pics?

The best thing about this system is that it's dynamic. If I add 50 more pics of John to the Library tomorrow, as I keyword and rate them they are added to the Smart Album.
In the end, organisation is about finding the pics. The point is to make locating that pic or batch of pics findable fast. This system works for me.

Difference between KP06 upload figures and S_ALR_87013611 output

I am using KP06 for uploading planned cost in BUD version . I entered amount 1000 . And when I see in
S_ALR_87013611, the figure comes up as 4.92 . There is no mention of currency anywhere in KP06 or
S_ALR_87013611 . Can you please tell me , if this is happening because of currency variations, and in that case, where
I can see the currencies for Kp06 and S_ALR_87013611 .

Hi Rudra
1. It seems your Contr Area currency is different than Comp Code currency
2. Use RPC0 and choose Company code currency / Obj Currency... (Tab Report Currency)
3. While uploading In KP06 - You would have chosen a layout which uploads the values in Contr Area currency...
If you wish, you can create a layout in KP64/Kp65 which uploads the values in Object currency i.e. comp code currency
4. Also check the Exch rate type and Value date in version BUD....

Differences between Robot class generated events and real input events

Hello everyone!
I'm having a problem with the translation of the description of the awt.Robot class.
- "This class is used to generate native system input events" -
Does this mean there is no difference between real input events and generated events from the Robot class? Difference in reference to that the generated events can't be recognized as generated events by the os or programs.

The Robot class will use an interface provided by the operating system to inject events. Those are very close to 'real' input events, but not quite there. There are, for instance, several games out there which have a protection mechanism against Robot's events to prevent scripting/botting. However, any application that is not paying special attention to the event's source will assume that the input events generated by Robot are actually coming from the user, so you can 'control' any application with the exception of the beforementioned games.

AppID during application update and Difference between app id and product id

I understand once a app is in store it has a associated Appid. How does this differs from the product id?
During each app update does the product id's should be same?
or during the store certification process will the appid and the product ids be mapped?
How does the product id and App id differ if this is not the case?
Can you provide some article which actually explains what is the difference between XAP uploaded and xap after certification?

In that case the dev account from which the update is done will have the unique id or appid and the appid or the product id mapping will be always done by the store certification process.
I'm not clear on this part whether the developer who does the update of the app should update the id or the process which does the certification of the app as an update will update automatically do it?.

What is the difference between: "Place..." or "Add files for Upload..."?

Where can I get information about the detailed differences between the commands "Place..." and "Add Files for Upload..." of the Files menu?
Understand that in both cases the files are linked and not embedded. But what further differences are there?
I came across this issue because widget 039 (Animated Image Rollovers) from MuseThemes works only if you use the "Add Files for Upload..." option.

Hi Daniel,
There are a few differences in both the options-
Place is used to add content to page (rendered) while Add Files for Upload... is used to upload files to your site but not on page (not rendered).
Placed images are published to /images folder on the server while images added using Add Files for Upload... option are published to the /assets folder on the server.
Placed images have a chance of getting renamed (if resized/interpolated in Muse) upon publish while images added using Add Files for Upload... retain their names.
Place can be used to add limited file formats like jpg/png/psd/swf/oam etc while you can upload almost any type of file using Add Files for Upload...
You don't see Placed content in the Hyperlinks dropdown for linking while files added using Add Files for Upload... show up in the Hyperlinks dropdown so that you may link to them and allow download.
Both serve different purposes and Add Files for Upload... is preferred by Widget Developers because it gives more control over uploaded content and assurance that file location and name will be as expected.
Hope the above give you clarity on the basic difference.

Complex Event Processing Server(CEP) is an entire Product.
Business Event/Event Delivery Network is just a Messaging/Event component part of the SOA Infrastructure.
So, if u r interested on event correlation from different sources, high performance on analyzing those events + operations among the data generated on those events, CEP is ur option.
