Difference between iphone5s factory unlocked and internationally unlocked?

hey guys.
i bought iphone5s yesterday from apple store at 5th avenue. and the sales agent said to me that they dont carry factory unlocked iphone 5s but they do carry internationally unlocked iphone5s. i am confused! i want to use this phone in canada.  so will it work on any carrier in canada as a unlocked phone?? they said to me that when i will come back in U.S with that phone , it will act as a locked iphone and will only work on at&t network. so my question is, is it still unlocked iphone even though i paid $706.06 and will it work in other countries if i use any sim.

That's confusing.  You might want to ask them what do they mean by that and that what you want is use your Canada SIM card on that iPhone 5S.
For your reference: iPhone: Wireless carrier support and features - http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1937,  Here you will find what wireless carriers offer unlocking.

  • Difference between the Field Group  and Internal Table.

    Hi all,
Can anybody tell me the difference between the Field group and Internal table and when they will used?
    Thanks,
    Sriram.

    Hi
Internal Tables: They are used to store record type data in tabular form temporarily in ABAP programming. Or we can say, it stores multiple lines of records for temporary use in ABAP programming.
A field group is a user-defined grouping of characteristics and basic key figures from the EC-EIS or EC-BP field catalog.
    Use
The field catalog contains the fields that are used in the aspects. As the number of fields grows, the field catalog becomes very large and unclear. To simplify maintenance of the aspects, you can group fields in a field group. You can group the fields as you wish, for example, by subject area or responsibility area. A field may be included in several field groups.
When maintaining the data structure of an aspect, you can select the field group that contains the relevant characteristics and basic key figures. This way you limit the number of fields offered.

Moderator: Please, do not post certification queries. Regarding your issue, please, refer to help.sap.com

    Hi,
Activity means e.g.. sales call, customer visit etc.
But service process means after you sale your product if some service related issue arrives then that is taken care by this transaction.

  • Differences between Roles, Schemas, Users and Logins.

I need differences between Roles, Schemas, Users and Logins. Can anyone help me. Thanks in advance

    Roles:
I think of creating roles in the database to group users of like
function.  Roles are granted certain permissions in the database.  You
should become familiar with the fixed database roles since these will be
utilized once you start creating users within the database.  Also, once
you see the type of permissions that are granted to each role, is makes
    more sense.
Schema: there can be several schemas in a database,
which will house different types of objects such as tables, indexes,
stored procedures, functions,  etc.  Users own schemas.  Looking into
the AdventureWorks database illustrates this concept, with several
    schemas like HR, Production, etc.
    Login: Think about login as
gaining access to the SQL Server instance.  If a user account is not
granted any permissions within the instance, you basically just were
able to unlock the door and enter the room, by creating a user you then
grant access to the database objects or principals, and can begin to
    work with them.
Users:  Users own schemas, and as such will be
able to manipulate the objects they own.  Some of the manunipulations
are very permissive, such as creating tables, indexes, stored
procedures, functions, etc.  These are developers and administrators.
    Users
are created and granted permissions for application use, which will
have select, update, insert, and delete and execute permissions  to a
finite set of objects in the schema, for which the application will need
    to function properly.
In a client server database, as an
example, of the structure.  Roles were defined which provides the
permissions to the database objects in the database, which only has one
schema 'dbo'. One SQL server login was created with the same username,
and dbo is the assigned default schema, and the roles assigned to that
    username.
In the application, each specific user is given there own
"application" login which is mapped to the one defined sql server
    login.

  • Hi, can anyone explain the difference between the models A1457 and ME432B/A of the iPone 5s. Thanks

Hi, can anyone explain the difference between the models A1457 and ME432B/A of the iPone 5s.

    Hi Gary,
Model # A1457 designates that it's the European market model, which I believe works on EE, Vodafone and O2 in the UK.
ME432B/A is the part # that, in your case, I believe, desginates a 16GB Space Grey Unlocked version...
Someone can correct me if I'm wrong on that

  • What's the difference between AIA 3.0 and AIA FP 11g Release 1 (11.1.1.4.0)

    Hi, experts,
Have a question need your great help and clarification, you know we have Oracle AIA Foundation Pack 2.5 based on SOA 10.1.3.4 installation, the new release for SOA has been released on this version Oracle Fusion Middleware 11g R1 (11.1.1.4.x) Released the other day, within this version, we have a Foundation Pack 11g Release 1 (11.1.1.4.0) based on SOA11g.
    My questions are as below
    1) What's difference between AIA 3.0 and Foundation Pack 11g Release 1 (11.1.1.4.0)?
    2) We know, on the top of AIA 2.5, we have Foundation Pack 11g Release 1 (11.1.1.2.0) and Foundation Pack 11g Release 1 (11.1.1.4.0), doesn't mean that the Foundation Pack 11g Release 1 (11.1.1.4.0) has another nickname that is AIA3.0?
    3) Does anyone provide AIA 3.0 installation and implementation guide?
Appreciated if you could provide some suggestions or comments based on above question, thanks in advance!

    Please see the answers below...
#1 . AIA 3.0 is internal project name, AIA 11g R1 is an official release which is 11.1.1.2.0, then after two patch sets released they are 11.1.1.3.0 and 11.1.1.4.0
#2 hope the above answered your question.
#3 AIA 11g R1 x install and developer guides available on OTN.

  • Difference between ECC 6.0 and earlier versions

    Hi,
one of the difference between ECC 6.0 and earlier versions is that instead 'WS_UPLOAD'  and 'WS_DOWNLOAD' in ECC we should use 'GUI_UPLOAD' and 'GUI_DOWNLOAD'  respectively.
(of course SPDD and SPRO tcodes is known by everone i suppose)
Similarly can u all put down some differences here, atleast one entry by each, I think we can make a good docu. I have searched the net for the differences but could not get much, so by each of us contributing one each, it would become good docu..for all of us.

  • Difference between Drill down Report and Interactive Report

What is the difference between Drill down Report and Interactive Report?

    Hi,
Drill down report and Interactive report seems to be acts as same. But there is a minor difference between those two.
Drill Down Report  - When you  click on a particular field in a report it drills down to the next report, it won't trigger another screen.
Interactive Report -  When you click on a particular field in a report it will trigger another report based on the field clicked. It opens another session internally in the same screen.

  • Difference between Wsus 3.0 and Wsus 4.0

    Hi all,
I would like to know what are differences between Wsus 3.0 and Wsus 4.0.
I have already notice that for Local Publishing, the method IPublisher.PublishPackage(sourcePath,
additionalSourcePath, packageDirectoryName), totally ignore the "additionalSourcePath" parameter.
Are there any documentation or web site where I can find differences between Wsus 3.0 and 4.0 ?
    Thanks.

    Wsus Third-Party Softwares Publishing :
    http://wsuspackagepublisher.codeplex.com

I would like to know what are differences between Wsus 3.0 and Wsus 4.0.
The differences between WSUS v3 and WSUS v6 (please note the correct version number) are documented ... somewhere ... but at the moment I can't find them. (Presumably it would be in the Release Notes for Win2012, but that idea is a bust.)
In short, these are the notable distinctions:
WSUS v6 is compiled with the .NET Framework v4
WSUS v6 provides an extended interface for management via PowerShell
WSUS v6 supports SHA256 hashes (which were implemented by the WUAgent v7.8 and rolled back to the WUAgent v7.6 in KB2720211 and WSUS v3.2 in KB2734608)
I have already notice that for Local Publishing, the method IPublisher.PublishPackage(sourcePath, additionalSourcePath, packageDirectoryName), totally ignore the "additionalSourcePath" parameter.
Changes to the API should be reflected in the
    SDK.
Also worth of note.. publishing TO a WSUS v6 server must be performed from a Windows Server 2012 system or a Windows 8 system with RSAT. Publishing to a WSUS v6 server from a WSUS v3.2 console cannot be done due to internal dependencies in the Local
Publishing API on the build number of the console and server involved in the publishing process.

  • Re: DIfference between Schemas, PCRS' FUnctions and Operations

    Dear SAPExperts,
Can anybody pls tell me what is difference between Schemas, PCRS' Functions and Operations.
    Thanx in advance
    Regards
    Aniruddha

    Hi Aniruddha
When the payroll driver is executed (for ex: PC00_M40_CALC for INDIA is executed) the schema IN00 (standard schema) is executed and it calls certain functions (functions may use Rules. Rules contain Operation) and also subschemas.
Functions could be of four types
    1. Performing some payroll computations (E.g. INEPF function calculates the PF amount of an employee during payroll run)
    2. Calling rules (E.g. P0045 function calls a rule INLN to compute the loan details of a personnel number).
    3. Getting data from Infotypes (E.g. P0581 will get the data from Infotype-581 for payroll processing).
    4. For some decisions. (E.g. IF & ENDIF function is used to execute as per the true and false decisions) etc.
When the PY is executed SAP uses lot of Internal Tables to store data and also provides data to other internal tables.
The read and change access to Internal Tables is enabled using functions that are executed in a personnel calculation schema and using operations that are executed in personnel calculation rules.
The following is just an attempt to provide some info on how Functions are processed during the PY Run. For ex: (functionality of subschema XIN0 and INBD)
    1. INITIALIZATION OF PAYROLL: When the Payroll is executed first the subschema XIN0 is called,   This subschema comprises the following main steps:
    I.     Specify program type (payroll or evaluation)
II.     Set switch for database updates (YES/NO) all database updates are controlled via this switch (otherwise simulation)
III.     Only infotypes from the HR master record which apply to the selected personnel number are read.
IV.     All Time Management infotypes are imported.
    V.     Specify check against control record PA03 (test or live).
    2. READ BASIC DATA: Once the Initialization of Payroll is successful, the subschema INBD is called. This subschema reads the Basic data of an employee who is there in the Payroll execution. Basic Data includes, determining Employee Name, Reading Work Center/Basic Pay Data, Setting Financial Year Dates and Allowance Grouping Tables, Reading Previous Employment Tax Details, Reading Housing (HRA/CLA/COA), Reading Exemptions, Reading Income from Other Sources, Reading Section 80 Deductions, Reading Investment Details (Sec 88), Reading Provident Fund Contributions, Reading Other Statutory Deductions, Reading Car and Conveyance, Reading Long Term Reimbursements, Read ID Details. Function GON checks whether all the master data has been imported, no further processing of schema will occur unless certain data is present.
The Subschema INBD calls the following functions in order to read the Basic Data:
    ENAME :
Function ENAME reads the last valid name of the employee in the payroll period. The formatting used for the country in question is used when displaying this name.
    WPBP
If an employee receives a pay increase within a payroll period, the Basic Pay infotype (0008) is changed and delimited as of a specific date. Two data records exist for one payroll period.
During payroll, the system writes the Basic Pay wage type to the results table with two different indicators. These split indicators are a link to the WPBP table that contains the relevant values. The system takes into consideration both data records for the corresponding partial periods when calculating remuneration.
    ININI
    P0580
    P0581
    P0582
    P0584
    P0585
    P0586
    P0587
    P0588
    P0583
    P0590
    P185I
    GON :
Function GON checks whether all the master data has been imported. No further processing of the schema will occur unless certain data is present. Checking procedures vary from country to country. There must always, however, be a work center (P007).
[Def. of Functions, Rules and Operations (copied from Raju's answer)
Schema is a collection of functions
A Rule is a collection of operations.
An operation is a very basic piece of logic that is used, mostly, to manipulate wage types

When a device uses source synchronous communication, be it a device that sends data to an FPGA (an input to the FPGA) or a an FPGA sending data to an external device (an output of the FPGA), the device needs to define and describe the timing relationship between the clock and the data that it is forwarding to the other device. The receiving data needs to know this timing relationship in order to devise a mechanism to capture the data.
The timing relationship can really be just about anything, but two types are common:
    Edge Aligned:
This is the simplest for the transmitting device. The device simply generates the forwarded clock and data using the same mechanism. If the sending device is an FPGA, then it uses an internal clock to drive an ODDR that drives the forwarded clock, and uses the same clock to send the forwarded data, either using an IOB flip-flop (SDR) or an ODDR flip-flop (DDR).
Using this mechanism, the timing relationship is often (but not always) described as a skew; i.e. the data will change +/-200ps around the edge/edges of the clock.
Of course, this clock/data timing relationship can rarely be used "as is" by the recieving device, so the receiving device will be responsible for adding some delay or other mechanism to use the forwarded clock to capture the forwarded data (i.e. an MMCM shift or an IDELAY).
    Center Aligned:
This is supposed to be the simplest mechanism for the receiver. The transmitter uses some internal structure to place the edges of the forwarded clock in the middle of the forwarded data valid window. In an FPGA (as a transmitter), an internal clock would drive an ODDR for the forwarded clock, but the forwarded data would be driven from either an IOB FF using an inverted clock (SDR) or an ODDR using a clock that is 90 degrees out of phase (DDR). (Or it could be vice versa - the data uses the normal clock, and the forwarded clock uses the inverted or 90 degree clock).
Using this mechanism, the clock/data relationship is often (but not always) defined as a provided setup/hold relationship around the forwarded clock; i.e. the data will be valid 1.5ns before the edge of the clock and remain valid for 1.5ns after the edge of the clock.
The idea is that using this timing relationship, the receiver should be able to use the forwarded clock as is to capture the forwarded data. In general, though, this is rarely true, since most devices don't have an equal required setup and hold time; so the receiver still needs to modify the clock/data relationship to center its required window in the provided window.
    MMCM vs. Direct Capture
This is a different concept. Regardless of which alignment is used (edge, center or something in between), the receiver (now we are assuming it is the FPGA doing the reception) needs to implement some clocking mechanism to use the forwarded clock to capture the forwarded data. There are really two styles:
    Direct Capture:
The forwarded clock is brought in and goes directly to a clock buffer (either BUFG/BUFH or BUFR/BUFIO), which is used to capture the incoming data. Generally (as I said above), the clock/data timing relationship needs to be changed, and when using this capture mechanism, this can only be accomplished using an IDELAY on the clock or data (or both). When done this way, the clock has a propagation delay through the delay element (the IDELAY)
    MMCM Capture:
Here, the forwarded clock is brought in on a clock capable I/O, then through an MMCM and from there to a BUFG or BUFH (with feedback to the MMCM). When done this way, the "common" way of modifying the clock/data timing relationship is by adjusting the phase delay of the MMCM output clock.
There is a subtle but extremely important difference in Vivado (and SDC/XDC) between a propagation delay and a phase delay (or phase shift). It has to do with how the tool determines which clock edge will capture data that is generated by a particular clock edge.
When we use a set_input_delay, we describe to Vivado a data window associated with a particular clock edge. By default, that data window will be captured by the next edge of the clock. The definition of the next edge is different when using these two mechanisms.
When a clock edge is propagated through a delay element, the resulting clock is the same edge. Lets take the example of a 10ns clock (rising at 0ns, falling at 5ns) with a 2ns delay (using an IDELAY) capturing an SDR data. The rising edge at time 0ns will generate a data window. By default, it will be captured by the next clock edge, which is at 10ns. After the 2ns of propagation delay, the internal clock at 12ns will be used to capture the window.
When a clock is phase shifted, a new clock is generated. Using the same example using an MMCM, the output clock of the MMCM rises at 2ns and falls at 7ns (and rises again at 12ns). So, the data window defined by the first rising edge of the input clock (at time 0), will be captured by the next rising edge of the phase shifted clock, which is at 2ns (this 2ns rising edge of the phase shifted clock is the "next" edge after the 0ns edge that generated the data window). This is different than the previous example, where the internal edge at 12ns (not 2ns) would capture the first window.
As a result, the constraints you use to describe the timing relationship (the set_input_delay) needs to be different between these two styles. Its also a bit messy, since the constraints that are correct for an MMCM with 2ns (or even 0.01ns) of phase delay are not correct for an MMCM with 0ns of phase delay (which is a bit icky).
I hope that clears things up!

  • Difference between work bench request and customizing request

in abap point of view please give me the difference between work bench request and customizing request

    In simple terms -
Work bench Request is used by ABAPer.(Creatation of Programs, TCodes or ABAP Dictionary Objects)
Customizing Request is used by Functional Consultants. (Used to configure the system as per clients Business requirements).
The Change Request is that request when you do some thing new in customizing or configuration in the system. The system will automatically pop with the change request pop box , when you can give request name as defined by the system or can give your own request name with heading of what changes you have made while customization. The system will generate a request number and you save it. (e.g.:- VEDK-2785467) VEDK- means the Clients System name then followed by the system generated request number.
Now when you want to release the request you have to use the T-code SE10 where you can see the requests under the heading modifiable or released. Go to the modifiable option. Each request will have again an internal request number. First you have to release the internal request and then release the external request number. This will in turn released by the basis guys thru the T-code SM64 in a group when all the requests are pooled from different users.
The task which you have mentioned in your question is nothing but the what task you have performed while customizing the client system and the heading name which have given it for that task and generated a request for that task.

Customizing Request:- which will be used when any customization changes are doing.
Example:- In your standard Tcode always you cannot find all the fields or options, if you want to enable/disable some fields, in this case it will be treated as Customizing request, any customization will comes under this.
Work Bench Request:- for new developments like new reports, BDC....etc, then Work Bench Request will be used.

  • Difference between cost component structure and cost component split

can anyone explain me the difference between cost component structure and cost component split with simple example
    thanks
    santosh

    Hi ,
    cost component structure
    Definition
    Number that identifies the structure.
    Use
In Product Cost Controlling, the cost component structure determines how the results of material costing are updated. The cost component structure groups the costs for each material according to cost component (such as material costs, internal activities, external activities, and overhead). If the material is used in the production of another material, the cost component split (which breaks down the costs according to material costs, internal activities, external activities, overhead, and so forth) remains in the system when the costs are rolled up.
In the cost component split, you also define the following for material costing:
Which part of the costs are fixed costs
    Which costs are
cost of goods manufactured and what are sales and administration costs
Which costs are relevant for stock valuation, commercial inventory valuation and tax inventory valuation
When the cost component structure is assigned to the organizational units, you can specify that two cost component splits are created:
    Main cost component split
This is the principal cost component split, meaning that it is used in the standard cost estimate, which can be used to update the material master. The main cost component split can be a cost component split for cost of goods manufactured or a primary cost component split.
    Auxiliary cost component split
This can exist in addition to the main cost component split, and is not used in the standard cost estimate. It can be used for analysis purposes, in that it can be displayed with the cost estimate and passed on to Profitability Analysis.
In Cost Center Accounting, the cost component structure determines how the results of the activity price calculation are updated. The cost component structure groups the costs for each activity type of the cost center according to components (such as material costs and labor costs). If an internal activity allocation is carried out, the cost component split (which breaks down the costs according to material, labor costs, and so forth) is retained at cost rollup.
If the cost component split is not to be retained, you can create a switching structure for the cost component structure for Cost Center Accounting. In the switching structure, you specify which sender cost component goes into which receiver cost component.
<b>require a cost component structure to calculate prices using cost component split.</b>
For each cost component structure you define a component such as energy, personnel, or raw materials. The components combine all costs occuring for a particular cost element area. In this way, you ensure greater cost transparency in activity price calculation when putting together the activity type prices - for example, it becomes easier to find how much of the activity price is taken up by the material costs.
In activity allocation, the cost component structure remains constant, meaning that the receiver takes on the sender cost elements and that the allocated costs are posted in the same cost components in the receiver as in the sender.
A cost component structure can have a maximum of 40 defined cost components.
Cost components are assigned to cost elements. You thereby determine which cost elements go to which rows in the structure, and how these components are updated in price calculation.
    Hope ths helps
    Please rewad points

  • Difference between running Disk Utility and "Archive and Install"

    Hi all,
I'm one of the poor souls who is having trouble with the software update 10.4.6. My iMac stopped halfway while doing the update, and when it attempted to do a restart, the iMac froze. I did the mistake of forcing it to shutdown, instead of just letting it take its time.
Last night, I attempted the Safe Boot but it did not work. The progress indicator kept on spinning for hours! SHOULD I TRY IT AGAIN?
Also, can someone tell me the difference between unning Disk Utility and "Archive and Install"? I figure I might have to do one of them to repair my iMac. I just want to do something that will reduce the chances of me wiping out my files. I also have the TechTool Deluxe CD with me. Should I be using that instead?
    Please help.

i just had a simialr issue with my powerbook. I stress similar, but in the end i had the same issue with the start up screen (light blue, apple icon and the spinning indicator below it. I could not get past it.
I ran disk utility from the boot disk, and got a kernel panic on verifying and and repairing permissions.
So (and this is what Im suggesting you try) in disk utility I made a disk image of my internal hard drive and saved it to an external hard drive. Takes a while but a worthy precaustion.
Second I went ahead and installed the OS on the external drive. Once that was done I boted from the external to oprn the disk image back up of my powerbooks internal drive. After that checked out i wnet back to the boot disk and did a clean install of the OS (wiping the internal) and things were fine after that.
maybe wait and see how other people respond to this before jumping into it, but its smart to back everything up on an external any day.
    much luck to you
    -justin!
