why there's the difference in the output......i am not able to understand
the output coming while debugging is correct
I am puzzled...why this change...can any one help mee...

Ok.
I wrote a program which gives the execution of time of the procedure. Now my problem is when i am running the procedure in oracle the execution time taken is 10 to 11secs.
When i run the program written in java to find the execution time of procedure I got the output as( i posted) from 24sec-28sec
but when I debug the same program its giving an execution time 10secs to 11secs
Why there is difference in the execution times while debugging and during execution of my program?
To me execution time from 10-11 secs is correct because if run procedure on oracle its showing the same.

  • How can one counter be sources (or gated) with the output of the other?

I'm trying to use the counters to generate a square pulse train that contains a certain number of pulses (on 6036E). For that I need to gate counter0 with the output of counter1. The manual seems to indicate that I need to use
    GPCTR_Change_Parameter (deviceNumber, ND_COUNTER_0, ND_GATE, ND_COUNTER_1) ,
however it makes no difference to the output; I see no gating. What am I doing wrong? Am I missing something?
I would also like to source counter1 with the output of counter0. There's a similar function call to choose the source signal, but so far I've been unable to source a counter with anything but the internal timer.  I guess the reason for it might be the same as the gating problem.
    Petro

    Hi Petro-
This example shows how to output a finite gated pulse train on an E Series board.  It mentions that it is a CVI example, but the main .c file does not include any CVI-specific functionality so it should work if you're using ANSI C.
Equivalent functionality is available in NI-DAQmx for your board and is considerably more intuitive.  An example of pause-triggered pulse train generation is available in the "C:\Program Files\National Instruments\NI-DAQ\Examples\DAQmx ANSI C\Counter\Generate Pulse\Dig Pulse Train Cont-Pause Trig" directory of your local drive.  One method to generate the "pause trigger" pulse train is shown in "C:\Program Files\National Instruments\NI-DAQ\Examples\DAQmx ANSI C\Counter\Generate Pulse\Dig Pulse Train-Cont" .
I'm not sure what you mean when you say "I would also like to source counter1 with the output of counter0."  What do you need to perform this operation for?  The reliance of counter 1 on counter 0 and counter 0 on counter 1 creates a type of circular reference that is almost guaranteed to be problematic.
    Hopefully this helps-

  • Why is it that when I saved the waveform of my acquired signal into a wav file, the output waveform of my saved file turn out to be different from my input signal?

    Hi all,
I am currently doing a heart sound analyzer project. I acquired signal using NI USB 6008 continuosly. My program is able to saved the acquired signal into a wave file. But when I browse open the saved file, the output waveform did not look the same as the acquired input signal and also the sound of the heartbeat captured cannot be heard from the loud speaker though I have saved the file as a wav file. I am not sure if the method i use to save the acquired data as a wav file is correct.  I have attach the print screen of the differences of the output I have notice and the program I have created. I would be glad if anyone here is able to troubleshoot my program.
    Thanks.

    Hi Brett Burger,
Thanks for your reply. For your information, I have set the sampling rate as 10000 as for the sound format, I have set the bits per sample as 16 bit, the rate as 11025 and the sound quality as mono. I tried using your method by changing the sampling rate as 8K but still my program encounter the same problem.
I wish to also create a button that is able to generate a preformatted report that contains VI documentation, data the VI returns, and report properties, such as the author, company, and number of pages only when I click on the button.  I have created this in my program, but I am not sure why is it not working. Can you help troubleshoot my program. Or do you have any samples to provide me. Hope to hear from you soon.
    Many thanks.

  • The output of an Adaptive RFC only delivers 1 of 2 tables

    Hello Experts,
we have a continous problem with a RFC-Connection.
The Input-Parameter of the RFC are Name, Enterprise and a Date-Range-Table (Table with SIGN, OPTION, START and END-DATE). The output are 2 tables. The first tables is the response of Date-Range-Table (a check for a valid date-input) ans the second table is a list of branches with their openingtimes. Both tables are filled if I test the rfc directly in SE80. If I use this RFC in a WebDynpro-component, only the Date-Range-Output is filled and the other is empty.
We use a very similar rfc in another WebDynpro. The only difference is the output table. A colleague of mine assumed that the data-conversion between ABAP and Java breaks in this different table.
If anybody knows this problem, I will be very happy for a conclusion.
    Kind regards

So I can just put my output variable into the email body variable.... since it's a table with headers should I do anything special for formatting the table?

  • How do I rent SD movies on my 3rd Gen Apple TV?  I have changed the output resolution in Apple TV's setup to 720, but it didn't make any difference.

I returned my 14 month old 3rd Gen Apple TV to the Apple store today because it would no longer see my wireless network.  Apple said that because of this problem, it was still covered under warranty, and gave me a new one.  Took it home and went through all the setup screens.  Even downloaded the latest software update.  Everything else appears to be working fine, but I can't rent a movie in SD like I used to be able to.  Everything I've read says that the settings is where I change that, but the one setting that I did find and change, under audio and visual, made no difference.  What am I missing?
    Thanks!

This problem has been solved by me.  The settings under the Apple TV menu for audio/visual do adjust for the output to your screen either 1080 or 720, but don't have any effect on the iTunes purchases.
The solution is under the Apple TV menu option "iTunes Store".  There you can choose from 1080 HD, 720 HD or 720 SD.  Now my movie selections in iTunes do offer the SD option.

  • Is any difference in the CDR output format of CUCM version 6.1.5 and 7.1.5?

    Hello,
Customer has a CUCM 6.1.5 cluster which is getting upgraded to 7.1.5. currently the CUCM CDR is sent to a external system (performix) which generates required reports. I would like to know if there is any difference in the CDR output format of CUCM version 6.1.5 and 7.1.5/ its vital to confirm this prior to upgrade as the performix is managed by a different vendor.
    Please advise !

  • Difference in the IPOD outputs

I want to know the difference in quality between the outputs of IPOD (I have IPOD Nano 1GB).
What is the difference between the dock connector output and the headphone plug output? Is there any difference in quality among them? I really appreciate the suggestions.
    Thanks!

One possible difference is that when you go through the dock connector, you get (?optionally?) a line-out signal. This "line out" signal is not effected by the iPod's volume setting and is, in my experience, best for connecting to a stereo or amplified speakers. It should be the same signal with/without volume control from the iPod.
    Does that help ?
FYI: when I said "(?optionally?)" what I mean is that I know that a line-out output is available from the dock connector. I do not know if a headphone-type connection -- one that IS effected by volume settings -- is also available.

  • Is there a difference between the earphone output and the audio output of the docking connector, or is it in fact the same signal ?

Is there a difference between the earphone output and the audiooutput of the docking connector of the iphone 4, or is it in fact the same signal ?

One basic difference is that the LTE frequencies each is able to operate on are different. After that, it is pretty much the same phone. Others might be able to add to this.

  • Difference between the 5 generating outputs using RH10

I have created a Help File using RH10.  I have been asked to find the pros and cons of between the five different generated outputs.  I have searched the forums and have not really found a solid answer.  Can anyone answer this question for me? I am new to RH and the extent of my training is from lynda.com and using the application.
I have been told that FlashHelp and WebHelp are the best options when dealing with multiple users.
    Thanks!

    Hi there
Indeed I can see where it can be very confusing if you aren't all that familiar.
I would agree that WebHelp and FlashHelp are common. Both of these outputs are intended to be copied to and delivered from a web server. With both outputs, the web browser is divided into frames. The top frame has the main toolbar, the left frame presents the TOC or Index or Glossary or Search and the right frame presents the topic content. The main difference between WebHelp and FlashHelp is how the information is presented in the top frame and the left frame. In FlashHelp, Adobe Flash is used and you see subtle animation effects. With WebHelp, it's a collection of HTML pages and images and links.
Another type of output is Microsoft HTML help, This output is created as a single file with a .CHM file extension. You would create this type of file if you want to copy the help system to each PC that will use it instead of having the individual PCs connect to a server to see the help.
RoboHelp version 10 introduced a new help output type called "Multiscreen". You have likely heard the buzzword "HTML 5". Multiscreen output is intended to be the HTML 5 choice,
The issue here is typically how easy is it to customize the output. With Microsoft HTML Help (CHM output) you don't have many options. Some say the output looks dated, But with RoboHelp 10 you are able to create WebHelp output with a skin and use that inside a CHM file to provide an updated look and feel.
If you wish to customize FlashHelp output, you must have a copy of Adobe Flash and the knowledge of how to use it. So it's not all that easy for most folks. Likewise, if you wish to customize the Multiscreen outputs, you have to have a pretty good understanding of CSS and be pretty patient with poking around the editor in RoboHelp. It's a fairly daunting task. The easiest to customize is the WebHelp output, because you just choose different images and configure things in an easy to navigate "Skin Editor".
You will see that there are other output types such as AIR Help. But that was more of a "flash in the pan" and it never really took off the way Adobe hoped it would. So personally, I'd recommend to avoid that output.
There is also the eBook output. You would choose that if you wanted to create a help system that would be presented on a Nook or a Kindle device. Not many folks are really "into" that space as far as I know.
Note that there is a "Pro" output type for WebHelp and for FlashHelp. This output isn't "better" than basic WebHelp or FlashHelp. Instead, it is a special output variant that is intended to work with another product called "RoboHelp Server". If you have purchased RoboHelp Server, you install it and configure it and maintain it on your web server. Then you create the "Pro" output type of choice and publish it to the RoboHelp Server. RoboHelp Server provides some management capabilities, special reporting and special configuraiton options that relate to these "Pro" output types.
There is more info on other outputs, but I think this covers what most folks might be interested in.
    Hopefully this helps... Rick

  • What is difference between the 0Analyzer & 0 Adhoc..

    Hi All,
I am very new to web reporting. In fact, am very much confused about the terms in Web reporting. Here I am putting all of my questions, pls reply to this.
    1) Bex web query designer is exists ( like  Bex query designer)? or we are having only one for both purposes?
    2) What is the difference when we are publishing the query on web through Bex query designer and Bex WAD.
    3) And what is the Default web template, if am publishing the query through Bex query designer.
    4) Is the same template is using when am trying to publish the query through WAD?
    5) What is the difference between <b>0Adhoc</b> and <b>0 Analyzer</b>. Need some detailed stuff regarding this?
    6) As we know that we can drag & drop two webitems ( say Table, Chart)under one webtemplate. If the data provider is different for each of this items, what is the output?
    7) How to use Adhoc query?
I know some of the question are very basic, but i am confusing about this.

There is a new tool in the NetWeaver 2004s version of the BEx Analyzer called "Design Mode" that allows adding some web items into a BEx query/workbook.  It's not available in BW 3.5.
    > 2) What is the difference when we are publishing the
    > query on web through Bex query designer and Bex WAD.
A query published to the web directly will be launched in the default reporting template 0ANALYSIS_PATTERN.  If you insert the query into your own web template, you can customize the template using the Web Application Designer before rendering it in the web or EP.
    >
    > 3) And what is the Default web template, if am

    In 2004s, 0ANALYSIS_PATTERN
    > 4) Is the same template is using when am trying to
    > publish the query through WAD?
No - if you insert your query into a template as a data provider and add a table or graph to the template referencing that data provider, that template (whatever you save it as) will render the data.  When you create a new template in WAD, it is blank, by default.

  • I am trying to edit footage in PE12 from 2 different cameras and the output looks terrible

I am trying to edit footage in PE12 from 2 different cameras. One is a canon HD video camera taking AVCHD at 1440x1080 at 29fps. I am also using a canon 70D DSLR taking a MOV at 1920x 1080 at 29FPS
I want to make a 2 camera angle video. When i import both videos into PE12 and edit them together (i am dropping in footage and editing them back to back on video/audio 1) and start rendering, the output video is horrible. there are no straight lines and its blurry. the source video looks great...I am wondering if the difference in size of the 2 videos are messing up the project. is there anything i could do to make the final video look better?
I am very new at using this program and any information would be helpful...
    thanks in advance,

    Both 1440 x 1080 HD anamorphic 16:9 (pixel aspect ratio = 1.33) and 1920 x 1080 16:9 (pixel aspect ratio = 1.0) have the same
display, that is, 1920 x 1080. Whether you use a project preset for either, the space established by the project preset in the Edit area
monitor is 1920 x 1080 for editing. So, we achieve the goal of a 1920 x 1080 Edit area monitor space in selecting the project preset cited
    above, that is
    NTSC
    DSLR
    1080p
    DSLR 1080p30
On the export side of things, it has long been suggested that 1440 x 1080 HD anamorphic content be exported with preset for 1920 x 1080 16:9
instead of 1440 x 1080 HD anamorphic 16:9 since both give the same display (1920 x 1080) and the choice 1920 x 1080 16:9 avoids the use of
a format that depends on a 16:9 flag to stretch the 1440 x 1080 for display after encoding. The latter has implications regarding issue of the player and recognition
    of the 16:9 flag.
So, we should be OK on the import and export choices.
What about what happens between import and export. You wrote
I tried this solution and it seemed like it helped at first but when the final project was done, it looked bad again.
How did the final product look bad....was it the 1440 x 1080 HD anamorphic 16:8, the 1920 x 1080 16:9, or both that presented poorly in the export
    which I am assuming was Publish+Share/Computer/AVCHD with Presets = MP4 H.264 1920 x 1080p30?
Depending on your further details, I have some suggestions for the Timeline content prior to export to file.
    Please review and consider.
    Thanks.

  • Unable to generate the output for S_ALR_87012048

    Dear All,
We are trying to execute the report  S_ALR_87012048 for the first period in 2015.  We have tried execute this report with report date 25.01.2015 (which is the last day in period 01), but it is giving no data was selected.
Can anybody suggest whether I need to give any further inputs to generate the output apart from the below.
    Co.code : 9000
Reporting date : 25.01.2015 (which is the last day in our fiscal period 01 /2015)
    Dep area : 01
    Sort Variant : 03 (co.code / bs  accounts / asset class)
User able to execute this report in the last month successfully.
We have completed all year ending process as well.
I have tried execute this report in our quality system with reporting date as 31.12.2014 and 31.12.2015.
Do we need to give reporting date as year ending date ? or last date of current period.
    Thanks in Advance.
    Prasad

    Hi Prasad,
I do believe that you should consider the authorization side of the matter carefully as pointed out by Mahmoud on Feb 6th. Please check again the mentioned SAP Notes in that thread.
For example, I just tested in my system, I can trigger a report even in a closed fiscal year with a report date end of each period. The only difference is that I get a information message:
Report date is in a closed fiscal year
    Message no. AU172
    Diagnosis
The report date is in the past.
Here the report date is allowed to be the end of the year as well as any
period end during the fiscal year.
    System Response
In an asset report during the fiscal year (report date for a period end
within the year) in a closed fiscal year, it can be the case that the results
for depreciation or the net book value are different between the historical
calculation and the current calculation for the report date. The reason for this
are any changes to asset-related depreciation terms, such as the depreciation
key, useful life, and so on. In the case of such changes, the asset values are
recalculated with the currently entered depreciation terms.
In an open fiscal year and a report date end of period I do not get AU172 and get an output.
Beside above provided SAP Notes, also see another couple of SAP Notes with some interesting information are also:

  • Difference between the design of clusters PCLx and others like RFBLG etc .

There are a few nagging questions which I was not able to find in the forum hence i have to post a new question.
I am a little confused about the difference between the different clusters .
If i start with RFBLG i.e. the cluster for BSEG BSEC etc ,I can see that the tables which are part of this cluster
can be viewed through different methods like
    1) whr usd list for RFBLG
    2) dd02l table and give the required parameters there
now when I compare this with another so-called cluster PCL1 if find that PCL1 is not recognized as  a cluster
and also I am not able to see the same in dd02l table when i give PCL1 and the tabtype as cluster which I was able to see
for the RFBLG ,there are other tables similar to RFBLG .
    1) SO what is the difference between the RFBLG type of clusters and the PCLx type of cluster
    2) are pclx and rfblg..type of clusters same ?
    3) why does PCL1 shows that it is a transparent table ? where as rfblg shows in a diff way in se11
    4) i know we access data from PCL1 using import and export stmts ,DO OR CAN WE DO THE SAME FOR RFBLG
    5) I found that each and evry cluster table had diff fields ,this was kinda surprising for me as I had been thinking
that all cluster tables need to follow a certain rule ,SO WHO DECIDES THE FIELDS OF A TABLE CLUSTER ?
    6) PCL1 has the index button enabled ,which again I think is not according to the cluster table rules?how?
    7) I understand that we can save data in form of internal tables in the PCL1 cluster ,can we do the same in RFBLG ?
    8) Can I think on lines that PCL1 and RFBLG type of cluster are two totally different types of data dictionary objects
and the usage and implementation of both of them is different and that the design and the BASE of both of such objects
    is different .
I know this is a long list but I am sure that answers to these questions would really require some one who has really really work hard and invested a lot of time in understanding the dictionary system.I am awaiting a few answers ,few hints and a healthy discussion till we get them .
    Thanks ...

    Hello,
    1/
BSEG is a typical Cluster Table.
This means that the physical table BSEG does NOT exist in the database, physical data for BSEG is stored in the database (table) cluster RFBLG.
In ABAP however you can perform selects on BSEG (with all fields from the SAP repository structure, see SE11 on BSEG), during execution the SAP database layer will translate these statements to physical selects in the RFBLG database table, so in ABAP this is transparant.

    2/
PCL1, PCL2, ... are normal SAP transparent tables, however in HR they are often called HR cluster table.
Transparent tables are SAP objects where there is also a database table with the same name that contains the physical data.
However the PCL tables are somewhat different from normal transparent tables (data is compressed, external programs can not interpret the data, ...).
This means that in ABAP you can not use simple SQL statements to access data in PCL tables (because of compressed format).
In stead statements like EXPORT TO DATABASE and IMPORT FROM DATABASE need to be used.

  • How to generate the output of a BSP application in PDF format?

    Hi,
I need to modify one BSP application, which generates its output in the form of PDF. I have checked all the methods in the bsp pages and its corresponding controller class's. I couldn't find any relevant method, which deals with generating the output in PDF.
Could you please share your valuable thoughts on this?
Again it would be helpful, If anyone of you share some knowledge on Interactive Adobe Forms.

I am using oracle version 11.2.0.1, I have set a cronjob which will run on every 15 minutes and give us a log file mentioning the execution time taken for that SQL query:-
The above query will return the output as well as the time taken for execution of the query. I want to suppress the output of the query and only want the time taken to be printed. Is it possible by set commands. I have marked the output as bold and made it Italic.
    >
How would that even be useful?
A query from a tool such as sql*plus is STILL going to send the output to the client and the client. You can keep sql*plus from actually displaying the data by setting autotrace to trace only.
But that TIME TAKEN is still going to include the network time it takes to send ALL rows that the query returns across the network.
That time is NOT the same as the actual execution time of the query. So unless you are trying to determine how long it takes to send the data over the network your 'timing' method is rather flawed.
Why don't you tell us WHAT PROBLEM you are trying to solve so we can help you solve it?

  • How to assign the output of a function to a text area: a PLSQL challenge

I have a function that returns a PLSQL table of varchar4(4000)
Here is its signature in a package:
    create or replace package researcher_request_pk
    is
    TYPE query_table_type is table of varchar2(4000) index by binary_integer;
    FUNCTION RequestSQL(P_RRQ_ID in number) return query_table_type;
    end;
I use this to get around the 32k limit on clobs and varchar2 variables
I want to assign the output of the function to a text area. I've tried the following PLSQL in a dynamic action and also as the source attribute of the Text Area but it doesn't populate the text area.
Here is the code i'm using
    declare
    v_table researcher_request_pk.query_table_type;
    begin
    v_table:=researcher_request_pk.RequestSQL(:P64_RRQ_ID);
    for i in 1..v_table.count loop
    htp.prn(v_table(i));
    end loop;
    end;
Any ideas on the correct syntax to do this?
    thanks in advance

    Thanks for your reply
The function does populate the PLSQL table with data. e.g. If I place that exact code in a PLSQL region it generates the output on the screen with no problems. The problem is just generating the output into the text area.
I want the text area to display the output of the PLSQL table (-a dynamic select SQL statement) which I then plan to execute to return records.( i.e. I've build my own runtime query builder)
My plan is to allow the user to edit the SQL output first before sending the statement for execution.
Funnily enough I do get the very first word of the first cell appearing, namely 'SELECT' but nothing else. Maybe the "||" that follows has something to do with the rest of it not appearing?? hmmm... will experiment more.
    thanks
