Different BOM for each month

Hi,
The BOM is different for each month. If i make different alternatives for each month and run the LTP will it help to get the raw material requirement as per the BOM for that month. Example BOM for NOV/DEC will be not same but we want to estimate the raw material req for next year.
Kindly advise what i need to do?

1.What is the business contraint in using change number functionality to address this requirement without creating any
additional alternative BOM?
2.Say you create the first alternative BOM using a change number and save all the BOM components.
3.The default valid from date will be the valid from date of the change number and valid to date will be 31.12.9999.
4.Whenever there is a BOM change use a different change number with valid from date say 25.10.2010,so using this in the
same BOM delete the components and add the new component's or make any BOM change and save.
5.For the deleted components the valid from date will be say (you have created using today's date for BOM creation)
05.10.2010 and the valid to date will be 25.10.2010.
6.What is the advantage of creating new alternative BOM?
6.How are you using the LTP results for inventory purpose,say how are you planning the raw material's requirement for the
next year based on this year's BOM?
7.LTP is not only the feasibility of material procurement,but also production that can be produced with available resource.

Year Duplicated For Each Month

Hey everyone,
I am using Oracle Business Intelligence 11.1.1.6.2 currently and I have just tried to create a report, but there is a problem.
I drag & drop the year column from the Subject Area section to the right. Instead of getting:
2005
2006
2007
I get 2005 twelve times, 2006, another twelve times, etc. as if the second column shows the months. The only column I have selected from the subject area is the year column, however. There is nothing else.
Any ideas on what may be causing this? Trying different browsers didn't work.

Before I try your suggestions, I have found some sort of workaround for this:
I go to Column Properties, then select Column Format. Value Suppression -> Suppress
With this selected, each year appears just once, not twelve times (once for each month).
My Fact table is joined to the Dimension table with this statement:

Different restrictions for each columns

I would like to restrict each column in a standard report with different value, without using global filter.
For Ex. I have a measure field called Amount. I would like to have 12 columns namely Jan, Feb etc... and then I would like to restrict each column with Month and I need to get the data for that particular month in the column.
In this case I cant use cross tab report because crosstab doesnt support some of the features of SAP datasource at this point of time. I can create measures in SAP datasource with restriction. But performance of the query will be affected.
In case of Web Intelligence we can create a formula with where clause for each of the column. But such thing i couldnt find in crystal report.
I need experts help here.

For January you would have the following
if month(yourdatefield) = 1 then

For February you would have the following
if month(yourdatefield) = 2 then
amount

continue on for each month. then place these fields across the report in the detail. Now for each record the value will go into the correct month column. Then you can suppress the detail section and summarize the total for each month if you want.

You can sync as many devices as you want to the same iTunes account, there is no limit. You can have the same content on each device or different content, the choice is yours. iTunes will keep everything straight, by device, including separate backups. I'd suggest giving each device a unique name, to make things easier.

How to configure different listener for each database in 11gR2 RAC

Hi Friends,
Current Prod Setup :
11gR2 (11.2..0.2) RAC on RHEL 5.5 with 3 SCAN Listeners on default 1521 port.
Having 4 databases which are using SCAN-IP and listening on default port only.
As per policy, we have to create separate listeners (on different port) for each database.
like,
DB1 - 1522
DB2 - 1523
DB3 - 1524
DB4 - 1525
Even If I configure 4 listeners using NETCA, how my failover & load balancing will happen using SCAN & Newly Created Listeners ???

I tried on 11gR2 TEST RAC Server to have different listener with different port (1529) for SCAN & Node Listener & tested failover, load-balancing which was successful.

Actually different ports for different databases are required to have separation of duties. Once Firewall enabled betwen Client & DB Server only privileged users would have access to particular database.

How to set up different realms for each server ?

I am using weblogic 6 sp1.I have a domain with several servers. i want to assoicate or use different custom security realm for each server.However -on weblogic console- there is no 'Target' tab in the Security node ,and no way to set up multiple Security nodes.How ca i do this (or can i)?

Main reason why is this:
Imagine situation I have 2 servers A and B both of them bellongs to domain SomeDomain.
Server A is as WebServer and server B hosts all EJBs. And server A is outside
firewall (does not have DB access). But i would like to use RDBMS realm so what
to do in this situation. Place both servers in different domains and in server
A install proxy realm for RDBS realm ?

MDX to dynamically create period to date for each month of current year

I need some help with MDX. I am not even sure if this is possible to do but here is what I need. Any help is greatly appreciated.
I have a Date dimension with a hierarchy defined as Year-Qtr-Month-Date
I have a measure called Rentals
Assume the current date is 10/24/2014. I want to display by month for the year 2014, the sum of rentals equivalent to the current MTD. So January would sum 1/1 thru 1/24. February would sum 2/1 thru 2/24. March would sum 3/1 thru
3/24, etc.
On the end of the current month, all months would display the sum of the whole month. I am not concerned if a month ends on the 30th or 31st. The end is end.
It needs to be dynamic enough so that if the current date is the 27th, each month would sum from the 1st to the 27th.

In MDX, we can use
PARALLELPERIOD function returns a member from a prior period in the same relative position as a specified member. So you can use the query like

the Formatted Search for prices is OK, but for the Item locations in warehouse this is not so simple,
I must have several (at least 2) locations for the item in the Warehouse and a track of this location and search possibilities.

I added a user table '@Location' who linked to a user field 'U_Location in Item master data --> lnventory data line and an ather user field 'U_Location' in sales order
I met the value of location in the table (list of locations for any warehouse), I select the location of each item while receiving merchandise in the user field of inventory data line (Item M data) and this value appears in the sales order 'U_Location' user field ( only the location value in the default warehouse for this Item)
or
create an user field 'location' in Good receipt PO to fill it while receiving merchandise that appears in the sales order to give possibility to find/select the location of the item at this order and in Item master data

How to apply Date condition for each month in 12 month period to my SQL query

I am trying to retrieve all Outstanding Problem tickets in my Trendline SSRS report.
I need to pull the OpenDate <= Last day of last month And CloseDate >= 1st day of current month
for each month in the Last 12 months. How do I accomplish this in my query?
I must also need to pull the oustanding tickets for the next 11 months in the same query
where it will automatically pull the outstanding tickets for when a new month comes
in out of the 12 month period?
Here's a sample of my query to pull July 2013 Outstanding Problem tickets:

Different chart for each level hierarchy in report designer

Is there a way to display a different chart for each level of the hierarchy in a report designer? I want a different chart for each level. That is, if there are 5 nodes in level 4, I want 5 different nodes. Is there a way to do this? I tried to insert the chart inside a cell in each level, but it shows the same chart for all nodes instead of a different chart for each node.

Has any one tried using a context sensitive chart? According to this, it seems like this should be possible, but I am having no luck.

I have a cube with following details.
1.Revenue Value ==1200
2.Fiscal year==2007
3.Product type==A
But If i need to create a Dashboard Report with this Cube,
But it has display tht Fiscal Year Value 2000 for each month
Like ..KF=1200/12(months)
So i need display as follows for the graph...
MONTH JAN FEB MAR...............................DEC
REVENUE 100 100 100...................................100
THIS IS HOW MY REPORT SHLD BE EXECUTED..
But I dont have any date or month field in my cube,how can I get it for Each month as above..??????
Can any one explain me & suggest me how to proceed..???

But as well I have another KF under that Revenue which display for each month & we need to run a dashboard with line diagram where one line for Revenue & another for PO which shld give a comparison for all the months...

Different caption for each photo in web gallery

When you take your selected Photos from Library to WEB is it possible to have a different caption for each photo. If I select 1 photo from the import and change its caption using the caption popup in the "Image Info" pane all the image captions change even the unselected ones.
How can I change individual photos so that they will have individual captions in the web gallery?

You should change the caption metadata field in the Library module. Go to the Library module, select the image you want to change the caption on, in the right panel, scroll down to the metadata section. Make sure that the popup to the left of metadata is set to "default" and you should see the standard metadata. Simply type your caption here. Then, if you've done this for all your photos, go back to your web section and make sure you set the caption popup in the image info section back to "caption", which will use the info in the caption metadata field for each photo automatically.

How can i have a drop down list in a table with different options for each row?
My requirement is this.. I want to display, say employee dtails in a table, and one column is employee hobbies, whcih can have multiple values and each employee may have a different list of hobbies. So how can we populate the drop down for each row, with different options?

Hey. Uh, this probably isn't the answer you were looking for, but it sounds like you've got a problem with your database design there. Generally speaking, your tables shouldn't have multi-valued fields, in the relational model anyway (sql). Instead, you should look at adding a separate table like EMPLOYEE_HOBBIES. Then you have a foreign key using the employees primary key as the foreign key in the employee_hobbies table, see what I mean? I might have misunderstood your explanation though, I'm not sure.
Alternatively, you could just have hobbies as a big freeform varchar field, and don't bother to make people separate their hobbies into different fields (you'd have to abandon the drop-down listbox idea in this case). If there's no really important reason to make the distinction, then it's probably easier just to not do it.
