Different Column Fields - Inbox & Sent

Hello,
I've recently converted from Windows to Mac.  I successfully setup my Exchange account in Mail 5.0.  I use several devices to send mail from so not all are coming from one mac.
Under the Mailboxes header in the side bar, I have my generic "Inbox" & "Sent" folders which are displaying fine.  The Inbox has the "From" column and "Sent" has the "To" column.  This Sent folder only shows emails sent from this specific machine.  Again, I use 3 different macs.
When I go down to the "Sent" folder that shows all emails sent from my Exchange account, it has the "From" column.  Obviously everything came from me so it's useless.  When I click to add the "To" column it adds it here but it also adds it to the generic "Inbox" folder.
Hopefully this isn't difficult to understand and I explained it clearly.  Basically I want to customize the columns for the indivdual folders and not have the options I set for one folder go across all folders.

Column view settings are stored globally for all mailboxes. You cannot change them for one mailbox without also affecting the rest, except Mail allows you to have slightly different From/To and Date Sent/Date Received settings for Sent.

    Table maintenance generator is an auto generated module pool program.
    Whenever you change anything in your table delete the maintenance generator it will ask for TR give TR and regenerate it (again give TR ) now transport it to QA it will work fine.
    One common mistake done by developer is they do not give or give some local TR (which do not get transported)  while deleting the maintenanc generatior and it cause the problem you are facing.

    The suggestion above is for MailBoxes on the Mac in the mail app and have nothing at all to do with the iPad. I think that you are asking about the iPad mail app.
    You need to have an IMAP email account in order to create additional mailboxes on the iPad.
    If you go to your email account in the Mail app and look at the window where your inbox, trash folder and sent folder are - if there is an Edit button at the top of the window - tap that and then tap Add Mailbox at the bottom.
    If the Edit button is not there - you cannot create folders on the iPad. Your email account is not IMAP. Only IMAP email accounts can create folders on the iPad. Any folders that you would already have in an IMAP account would sync to the device as well.

  • Different columns and arrangements in different Folders

    I arrange my mail into various folders. For various reasons, I need to have different columns visible and different arrangements of columns in different folders (Kind of like needing From: in InBox and To: in sent items.)
    I can't figure out how to set this, by folder and have it 1) stick and 2) not impact other folders.

    must have not worn my glasses when i first checked that feature long time ago, so sorry for the erroneous info in my previous post, and no you cannot change column view whether within one email account or across email accounts. yikes, need to be more careful when i send info on these pages

  • Mailboxes with different column headings

    This question was somewhat covered in 2006-2007 but not recently. I would like to set different column headings for certain mailboxes in Mail. I understand that the Inbox folder keeps a "logical" set of columns (From and not To, for example). The folder Sent also behaves the same. But I have organized most of my Received messages in a folder which then has subfolders for each company or person or sets of persons. I also organized my Sent messages in separate into a Mailbox called Sent Messages with appropriate subfolders/mailboxes. I would like to keep all of the Mailboxes that "receive messages" with certain columns (such as From and not To) and the "sent messages" with a different set of columns (To instead of From, Date Sent instead of Date Received, etc...). But I cannot do that in Mail 5.3 running on MacOS 10.7.5 . Is there a solution to achive these settings permanently?

  • Amount from 2 different columns. import format?

    Hi all,
    Im trying to import amounts from 2 different columns. If accounts are "123" or "234" or...etc
    Then pull from column
    else use column 9
    can this be done in one import script? I want to know if I can assign import format amount to column 5 but only get the accounts asked for. else use column 9.

  • How To UPLOAD a DATA (.DAT) fiel from PC to internal table and then split it into the data different columns

    I am new to ABAP Development. I need to upload a .DAT file (the file doesn#t have any proper structure-- Please find the .DAT file in the attachment). After uploading the DATA (.DAT) fiel I need to split in into different columns. Refering the attached .DAT fiel the fields in bracets like:
    [Arbeitstag],  [Pecunia], [Mita], [Kunde], [Auftrag] and  [Position] are different fields that need to be arranged in columns in an internal table. this .DAT fiel which I want to upload and then SPLIT it into various fields will will treated as MASTER DATA table for further programming.     For every Auftrag, there are multiple Position entries.
    Rest of the blocks don't seems to have any relation.
    So you can check this code to see how internal table lt_str is built whose first 3 fields have data contained in Auftrag, and next 3 fields have Position data. The structure is flat, assuming that every Position record is related to preceding Auftrag.

  • ALV -Excel download -header & data comming in Different columns

    Hi,
    I have an ALV report with FM.When I download it to excel through LIST/EXPORT/LOCALFILE some columns are getting messed up (ex: header is in one column and data is comming in different column).
    When i do with LIST/EXPORT/SPREADSHEET option it is working fine.
    but users want to use the first option only.
    I am use FM's in this report.

  • How to show value and unit in different columns

    Hi All,
    I need ABAP help for the below requirement in BI7.0
    Data source contains  the field Amount in local currency (Data source is flat file of CSV format)

    I have to get this value in target like below( value and unit should be in different columns)

  • Passing data to different internal tables with different columns from a comma delimited file

    Hi,
    I have a program wherein we upload a comma delimited file and based on the region( we have drop down in the selection screen to pick the region).  Based on the region, the data from the file is passed to internal table. For region A, we have 10 columns and for region B we have 9 columns.
    There is a split statement (split at comma) used to break the data into different columns.
    I need to add hard error messages if the no. of columns in the uploaded file are incorrect. For example, if the uploaded file is of type region A, then the uploaded file should be split into 10 columns. If the file contains lesser or more columns thenan error message should be added. Similar is the case with region B.
    I do not want to remove the existing split statement(existing code). Is there a way I can exactly pass the data into the internal table accurately? I have gone through some posts where in they have made use of the method cl_alv_table_create=>create_dynamic_table by passing the field catalog. But I cannot use this as I have two different internal tables to be populated based on the region. Appreciate help on this.

    I have no issues with the rows. I have a file with format like a1,b1,c1,d1,e1, the file should be uploaded and split at comma. So far its fine. After this, if the file is related to region A say Asia, then it should have 5 fields( as an example). So, all the 5 values a1,b1..e1 will be passed to 5 fields of itab1.
    I also have region B( say Europe)  whose file will have only 4 fields. So, file is of the form a2,b2,c2,d2. Again data is split at comma and passed to itab2.
    If some one loads file related to Asia and the file has only 4 fields  then the data would be incorrect. Similar is the case when someone tries to load Europe file with 5 fields related data. To avoid this, I want to validate the data uploaded. For this, I want to count the no. of fields (seperated by comma). If no. of fields is 5 then the file is related to Asia or if no. of fields is 4 then it is Europe file.
    Well, the no. of commas is nothing but no. of fields - 1. If the file is of the form a1,b1..e1 then I can say like if no. of commas = 4 then it is File Asia.But I am not sure how to write a code for this.Please advise.

  • APD : Linking different columns to 1 Keyfigure??

                    I have to push data coming from a query report on Stock to a transactional ODS using APD. In APD the structure I made
    Query-----Filter-----ODS.
    But in the query there is a keyfigure : Total Stock Issue Vol : (CK_TSIVOL) which is used many times using different conditions and exceptions e.g. it is used to find TRF out , F2b Issue Vol , Total Issues , Sales which are all different columns in the report . In my ODS I have included this key figure. But how do I link the different fields in query as shown above to 1 field(CK_TSIVOL) in ODS?

    My understanding is this is a DVD slide show you've created. It is not a movie of photos that you created in some other application and then added to iDVD.
    In iDVD Preferences be sure to uncheck the box in the Slideshow panel to always add original photos because this takes up more space on the disc.
    Save the project as a disc image. This disc image file should be small enough to fit a single-layer disc unless you added an audio track. If you did add audio then the audio is taking up more space on the disc than are the photos. If the disc image is too large for a single-layer DVD then you either need to use DL media, remove some of the audio or recreate your slide show as two projects to be burned on two DVDs. There is no way to compress a DVD slide show to fit a single-layer disc.

    ManuThe reason for the question about the format of the column is because the simplest solution only works on DATE columns. Others have mentioned this here, but if you want the difference between two date fields, you can use this formula:
    TIMESTAMPDIFF(SQL_TSI_DAY, date_column1, date_column2)
    The above being said, you still didn't tell me what you did, or what error message you received. So again, if the above formula didn't work, what did you do? Where did you put the formula? What was the exact syntax you used? What was the error message you got?

    I am using Cross Tab template in crystal XI and I have to show two different column types one is of type int and other is of type string. Below is the format of the report

    If you are trying to show "yes" or "no" for a column value in a cross tab, then yes we can try using a formula for it.
    I would suggest you 2 ways that you can try at your end:
    1.
    a) Create a formula in the cross tab expert and write your condition.
    for eg: if Sum({Orders.Order amount}) > 5000 then "yes" else "no"
    b) Then select that formula in the summarized fields in cross tab expert and change the summary to MODE.
    c) You can see the "yes" and "no" Within the same box.
    2.
    a) Add a field to the colums in the cross tab expert.
    b) A column gets inserted in the cross tab.
    c) Right click the field and select format field.
    d) Go to Common tab and write a formula for the display string.
    e) Write the condition in that formula.
    f) You can see a new column with the expected values.

    I need to migrate the existing reports from SQL Server Reporting Services to Crystal Report 2008, and the column order in the report is very important to the clients since clients have existing code to ingest these reports into their database. Now I want to create a single template with lot of parameters for all reports. My question is how I might use one template to create multiple reports with different column orders in the reports?
    For example, client A has the following column order in their report: firstName, LastName, DateBirth, SSN. Client B has the following column order in their report: SSN, DateBirth, LastName, FirstName. Can I use one template to create these multiple reports?

    -As I mentioned you can find Template Field object in Insert menu of crystal report Designer 2008.
    As soon as you select Template Field object you will be able to see a box beside ur mouse cursor. Drag and drop this box at required place. Now when you place this object in report you will get some thing like this "<TemplateField1>" listed under Formula Fields tree. Double click "<TemplateField1>" formula to add your conditions.
    -I have not tested it for large amount of Customers. However as the number of customer increases the number of conditions will get increased.
    For the customer that want the same ordering of columns you can put those customers under one condition.
        for Example...
              if(?Client in ['clientA','clientA']) then
                        <TableName>.<Field>......
    -What do you mean be 40 columns? Do you mean 40 fields or you want to show 40 columns in report? Please elaborate.

    1.I think the Planner Gruop will be at order level.
    2.If I assigned the different Valuation Categories then I need to assign no.of G/L accounts.
    Plz look for my senerio->I have a single Mnt.Order in which different operations carried out from different departments like civil,electrical,mechanical.Its like one project in PS.Now I assiged different Workkcenter/Cost Centers to respective operations.Now after confirmation,when I look the Cosing Report system shows the activity Cost departmentwise as its linked to workcenter/cost center,but material cost how it will get posted different departments?
    Manually by 261->Order+Costcenter...I can post it but there is problem in Auto Goods Movement
    Plz correct if wrong.
