Different filters to different columns

Hello!
Is there any possibility to assign in criteria tab some filters to one column and anothers to other column??
Because in one column I don't want to affect some filter.
Thank you!

Hi..
Yes,
As naresh said.. use inner filters.
click on fx of particular column.
click on filters then select dimension from left pane then apply the filter..
But remember..
To apply inner filter, that column must be Measure and Aggregated in rpd.
Thanks & Regards

  • Showing different filters requiring different sql queries

    Hello all,
    Is the following SSRS report possible?
    Choose a list of fields to output from a specified list
    Select different filters each requiring different querying on different tables. Same base table tho.
    Enable sorting on each column outputted.
    I would appreciate your feedback...Thanks

    Hi ,
    You can create multiple parameters which will get data from datasets(SQL query to get data from DB).
    In report tablix control, you can set the Interactive sorting  on columns as shown in below screen:-
    After Setting each column like that , when you run the report, report will have sort icons to do sorting as shown in below screen:-
    Thanks

  • MultiProvider: Different Filters for Different Underlying InfoProviders

    Hi Gurus,
    I would like to ask if it is possible to set different query filters for different underlying InfoProviders?
    For example:
    I have Cube A and Cube B. Both are defined and identified in a MultiProvider. I have a query on this MP.
    When user enters a key date 12.05.2010, data records from 01.01.2010 - 30.04.2010 should come from Cube A whereas 01.05.2010 - 11.05.2010 from Cube B.
    Is this scenario possible?
    Thanks,
    Meng

    Hi Christopher,
    thanks for your reply.
    I am aware of the prerequisite of common granularity for result into the same ROW. Since in this case I am using structure, so I think I do not have problem with it.
    Regarding restricted key figure:
    In case you haven't yet learnt it, a restricted key figure is a query in itself. Having two or more restricted key figures is the same as having two queries in your report.
    You mentioned that a restricted key figure is itself a query. I have carried out the following test: I restrict 0CALMONTH 04.2011 in the global filter of a query while putting a restricted key figure (Amount 05.2011) with 0CALMONTH 05.2011 in the column section. However, no records are displayed for the column. If a restricted key figure is ANOTHER query on InfoProvider, then I should be able to see records for 05.2011.
    Please kindly clear my doubts.
    Thanks,
    Meng

  • How to combine update stmts with different filters and multi-columns?

    Hi,
    I found these following update stmts in one of our long running jobs. I'd like to see if it is possible to combine it in one update or merge stmt so I can reduce the scan time on the same table from 4 times to 1 time. But I'd need some expert suggestions for how to do that. Here are the stmts:
    UPDATE table1 c
    SET (polnum,polren,polseq,vehnum,
    compgrp,prodgrp,uwsys,comp,
    state,prod,rrdate,brand,
    agycode,AGYCLASS,valid)=(SELECT DISTINCT polnum,polren,polseq,vehnum,
    compgrp,prodgrp,uwsys,comp,
    state,prod,rrdate,brand,
    agycode,AGYCLASS,'A'
    FROM table2 v
    WHERE v.polnum=c.pol# AND
    v.polren=c.ren# AND
    v.polseq=c.seq# AND
    v.vehnum=c.veh#)
    WHERE c.polnum IS NULL;
    UPDATE table1 c
    SET (polnum,polren,polseq,vehnum,
    compgrp,prodgrp,uwsys,comp,
    state,prod,rrdate,brand,
    agycode,AGYCLASS,valid)=(SELECT DISTINCT polnum,polren,polseq,vehnum,
    compgrp,prodgrp,uwsys,comp,
    state,prod,rrdate,brand,
    agycode,AGYCLASS,'B'
    FROM table2 v
    WHERE v.polnum=c.pol# AND
    v.polren=c.ren# AND
    v.polseq=c.seq# AND
    v.mainveh='Y')
    WHERE c.polnum IS NULL;
    UPDATE table1 c
    SET (polnum,polren,polseq,vehnum,
    compgrp,prodgrp,uwsys,comp,
    state,prod,rrdate,brand,
    agycode,AGYCLASS,valid)=(SELECT DISTINCT polnum,polren,polseq,vehnum,
    compgrp,prodgrp,uwsys,comp,
    state,prod,rrdate,brand,
    agycode,AGYCLASS,'C'
    FROM table2 v
    WHERE v.polnum=c.pol# AND
    v.polren=c.ren# AND
    v.polseq=0 AND
    v.mainveh='Y')
    WHERE c.polnum IS NULL;
    UPDATE table1 c
    SET (polnum,polren,polseq,vehnum,
    compgrp,prodgrp,uwsys,comp,
    state,prod,rrdate,brand,
    agycode,AGYCLASS,valid)=(SELECT DISTINCT polnum,polren,polseq,vehnum,
    compgrp,prodgrp,uwsys,comp,
    state,prod,rrdate,brand,
    agycode,AGYCLASS,'D'
    FROM table2 v
    WHERE v.polnum=c.pol# AND
    v.polren=0 AND
    v.polseq=0 AND
    v.mainveh='Y')
    WHERE c.polnum IS NULL;
    Table1 has 800000 rows, Table2 has 200 million rows. In table1, about 12.5% rows has a null polnum, so 12.5% data will be updated.
    Thank you in advance with all your suggestions!

    the reason I never specified the joins is because I thought the joins were there to derive the Valid indicator, in which case they are not required if you are using the CASE statement. The join, "V.Polnum = C.Pol#" is still required as this is across all rows! If that is the case, then it can be simplified even more so;
    update   Table1 C
    set      (Polnum,Polren,Polseq,Vehnum,Compgrp,Prodgrp,Uwsys,Comp,State,Prod,Rrdate,Brand,Agycode,Agyclass,Valid) =
                ( select   distinct Polnum
                                   ,Polren
                                   ,Polseq
                                   ,Vehnum
                                   ,Compgrp
                                   ,Prodgrp
                                   ,Uwsys
                                   ,Comp
                                   ,State
                                   ,Prod
                                   ,Rrdate
                                   ,Brand
                                   ,Agycode
                                   ,Agyclass
                                   ,case
                                      when (Polren + Polseq=0) and (Mainveh='Y') then
                                            'D'
                                      when (Polren=0) and (Polseq>0) and (Mainveh='Y') then
                                            'C'
                                      when (Polren>0) and (Polseq>0) and (Mainveh='Y') then
                                            'B'
                                      when (Polren>0) and (Polseq>0) and (Mainveh!='Y') then
                                            'A'
                                    end as Valid
                 from      Table2 V
                 where     V.Polnum = C.Pol#
    where    C.Polnum is null;However if you are returning more rows than what you are expecting from the above update statement because the joins are being used to limit the data as well, then this might be more appropriate:
    update   Table1 C
    set      (Polnum,Polren,Polseq,Vehnum,Compgrp,Prodgrp,Uwsys,Comp,State,Prod,Rrdate,Brand,Agycode,Agyclass,Valid) =
             ( select v2.PolNum
                   ,v2.Polren
                   ,v2.Polseq
                   ,v2.Vehnum
                   ,v2.Compgrp
                   ,v2.Prodgrp
                   ,v2.Uwsys
                   ,v2.Comp
                   ,v2.State
                   ,v2.Prod
                   ,v2.Rrdate
                   ,v2.Brand
                   ,v2.Agycode
                   ,v2.Agyclass
                   ,case
                      when (v2.Polren + v2.Polseq=0) and (v2.Mainveh='Y') then
                            'D'
                      when (v2.Polren=0) and (v2.Polseq>0) and (v2.Mainveh='Y') then
                            'C'
                      when (v2.Polren>0) and (v2.Polseq>0) and (v2.Mainveh='Y') then
                            'B'
                      when (v2.Polren>0) and (v2.Polseq>0) and (v2.Mainveh!='Y') then
                            'A'
                    end as Valid_Flag
                ( select   distinct Polnum
                                   ,Polren
                                   ,Polseq
                                   ,Vehnum

                 where     V.Polnum = C.Pol#
                 ) v2
             where (v2.Polren = C.Pol# or v2.Polren = 0)
             and   (v2.Polseq = C.Seq# or v2.Polseq = 0)

  • Textfield with different filters to different parts of it

    I have a TextField object and i want to apply the bevelFilter object with some settings to a part of the textfield and with other settings to the other part of the textfield, like the textField.setTextFormat() does it.
    Thanks, Javier

    You can apply any number of TextFormats to segments of the text in any given textField by defining the substring of characters that you want to use any given TextFormat. This is not possible to do the same thing with a filter. Filters are applied to whole objects. So, if you want a word or a phrase to use a filter, then you'll have to separate that part out as a separate textField.
    If the custom filters and formatting don't need to be applied in real time during playback, it would be much simpler to assemble the text as a graphic.

  • Division calculation using different filters in OBIEE 11g

    Hello,
    I have a requirement where I want to calculate division of same column using different filters in one report.
    e.g. No. of Units (Where Active flag='A')/No. of units (Where Active flag='I').
    I am using OBIEE 11g.
    Thanks.

    Try this:
    ((case when Active flag='A' then No. of Units end)*1.0)/
    (case when Active flag='I' then No. of Units end)
    It would nice if you create a new metric based on physical expression using rpd. If possible try to create it so that you can have aggregation after the calculation.
    If helps pls mak as correct/helpful

  • Different filters in one report

    Is there a way to use different filters in one Answers query?
    For example, I want to place two tables onto Compound layout view. The first table is prepared using one filter, and the second - using another filter.
    PS. I know that I can use two different queries with different filters and then put them to a dashboard. But it's not what I want - I want to put two different tables onto the Compound Layout view.

    The answer your question correctly: no, you can not have multiple filters in one answer request. You can only have one table view in an Answers request. The table view represents the logical SQL of the request, which can only have one filter.
    But there are some workarounds:
    1) you can use the FILTER function to create a column filter.
    2) you can have multiple pivot table views in one Answers request, to get different tables
    Based on 1 single table view, you can have multiple pivot tables which contain different column filtered columns.
    This means that you can have multiple (pivot) tables in one request which hold different data.

  • Not able to color different rows with different colors in a column of table

    Hi,
    I am trying to to display different rows with different colors in a column of the table based on some decode condition.
    I have gone through the following threads :
    Can we colour the rows in the column of a table
    Changing Color of a value in a column
    This is what i have done :
    1.Added the following code to custom.xss(changed the name to Custom.xss as suggested in one of the above threads) --- in path ---- jdev\myhtml\OA_HTML\cabo\styles
    <style selector=".1">
    <includeStyle name="DefaultFontFamily"/>
    <property name="font-size">11pt</property>
    <property name="font-weight">Bolder</property>
    <property name="color">#008000</property>
    <property name="text-indent">3px</property>

    2. Sql query of the VO is :
    select comments,role ,decode(role,'REQUESTER','1','2') Colorattr from xxat_sars_action_history where request_id = :1 and event_name = :2 and action_code <> 'PENDING'
    order by sequence_num desc
    3. Coded the following in the process request of the controller:
    OATableBean table = (OATableBean)webBean.findIndexedChildRecursive("CommentsTB");
    OAMessageStyledTextBean roleBN = (OAMessageStyledTextBean)webBean.findIndexedChildRecursive("role");
    OADataBoundValueViewObject cssjob = new OADataBoundValueViewObject(roleBN,"Colorattr");
    roleBN.setAttributeValue(oracle.cabo.ui.UIConstants.STYLE_CLASS_ATTR, cssjob);
    where 1 and 2 form the colors ( i have even tried with 'Red' and 'Yellow'...as it was not working replaced with 1 and 2)
    4.The query returns data fine with corresponding 1 and 2 values.
    But different colors are not getting reflecting on to the UI.
    I am testing this on my local jdev.
    Please do let me know if i am missing something.

    Any Clues please.....

  • Calculation Field to be mapped to different data object's column name in Oracle BAM 12c

    Hi,
    I am having a challenge to enable drill down to 2nd level report by passing calculation field as parameter.
    As an alternative, I am thinking to point calculation field to another data object’s column name and generate report so that I would be able to pass that as parameter to drilling report view.
    Is there any way to map calculation field to different Data object’s column name? Thanks in advance.
    Regards
    Amik Basu

    1. Yes, you can.
    SQL> create table ÜÝÞ( ßàá number(10));
    Table created.
    SQL> insert into ÜÝÞ values (10);
    1 row created.1.1 and 1.2 and 2. You can choose UTF as your default character set. It allows the user of non-English characters in VARCHAR columns in your whole database. It is not per tablespace.
    SQL> create table ÜÝÞ( ßàá varchar2(100));
    Table created.
    SQL> insert into ÜÝÞ values ('âãäçìé');
    1 row created.

  • How to set different renderers to different cells in same column of JTable?

    Hello Friends,

    Right now i m setting renderer using statement bellow :
    table.getColumnModel().getColumn(int).setCellRenderer(rederer_Instance);But with this, effect in the last renderer is applicable whole column....
    Can any body help me out ?????????

  • Different calculation on each column in table in obiee 11g report??

    Hi ,
    I have to display values in a table for measures in obiee 11g report which should hold different calculation on each column. For ex:
    Result 1:
    Flag  Display   Transaction  Amount
      C      'A'                 2              3
      C      'B'                 3               0
           SubTotal1            5             3
    Result 2:
    Flag  Display   Transaction  Amount
      H      'C'                 2              11
      H      'D'                  0              0
           SubTotal2          2             11
    Result 3:
    Flag  Display   Transaction  Amount
      H      'C'                 1              0
      H      'D'                  1            0
           SubTotal3          2            0
    Final Result:(Transaction shd hold :-subtotal1-subtal2 , Amount should hold:-subtotal1-subtal2+subtota3)
    Flag   Display               Transaction         Amount
    C    'total tran(1-2)              3                     8
           Total Amnt(1-2+3)'
    Please help me how can i achieve this ... ??? I am new to OBIEE 11g.
    Thanks,
    Pavi

    There are a few things I cannot understand; I'm assuming Transaction and Amount are fact columns. Then how do they have different values for the same values of Flag and Display ??
    Anyway, sub total can be achieved by going to edit view for the table and from columns and measures area under the Layout pane click on the summation icon and select After.  This will automatically display a grand total value at the bottom of each fact column.
    Now, to get the final result, say Total Transaction you can add a dummy column and edit its formula.
         Total Transaction = trans_subtotal1 - trans_subtotal2 and
         Total Amount = amt_subtotal1 - amt_subtotal2 + amt_subtotal3
         Now if we could say that trans_subtotal1 is the total of transaction value when Flag = 'C' or something like that then you can get this value of subtotal1 by using the formula FILTER(SUM("Subject Area"."Folder".Transaction Column") USING (DESCRIPTOR_IDOF("Subject Area"."Folder"."Flag column") = 'C')).  Similarly we can obtain subtotal2 and subtract them to get the total transaction value.  But I am sure if we can do this because for the same values of Flag and Display, Transaction has different values.  But by using the above formula, the values we obtain for subtotals 2 and 3 will be the same.  So calculating Total Amount would be a problem.
    The above formula is obtained by going to edit formula and selecting the filter option at the bottom of the edit dialog box.
    Hope I made my point clear

  • Tabular form - Different LOV for different rows

    In a tabular form column, is it possible to have a select list whose values depend on some other column in the row? There doesn't appear to be a way to use #COL# notation to refer to current row values in the LOV query definition.
    Ideas? Thanks

    Hi Scott,
    Thanks ..I formed some idea about APEX_UTIL.KEYVAL_NUM. I have a problem where I am not able to decide if I can make use of this package and solve..
    Can you please have a look at this thread.. Re: Tabular form - Different LOV for different rows
    I have a SQL which populates a tabular form on the page.Coulmn1 some text, Column 2 is to show a drop down as YES and NO. i am trying to freeze the option for rows 2,3,4 as NO, if the Option choosen in first is NO.
    So, what I am trying to ask is..can I save my first selection in a global variable and use it in where clause of [select list query] the second drop down..Not sure how I can do this..Appreciate if you can show me a direction.
    Thanks,

  • Display of text of different rows with different color - JTable

    Hi all !
    I have struck in a problem. I have to display the different rows with different color in the JTable. I have created an arraylist in the model class, which stores color of all the rows. Now in renderer class, I am just picking up color from the arraylist, taking rowIndex as index for arraylist. I used to set foreground color for each row in the renderer class. The problem is that it is not showing all the rows properly, sometimes it show all the rows correctly, but as i resize the window/panel, it starts behaving abnormally, some text is painted properly, but other aren't.
    Does anybody have any solution regarding this problem.
    One thing i want to mention is that in getTableCellRendererComponent() method, i used to retrive the color everytime, and setting the foreground color of the text. Is this a right approach or some other technique have to be followed.
    here is code of renderer class ---

    Hmm, why are you doing the curColor instanceof? What does this accomplish? I don't see any reason to ask what it was before; all you should be interested in here is what you want it to be now.
    All you should have to do is say:
    this.setForeground(model.getColor(row));I also don't see why you're doing the update() -- JTable is going to do that for you at the appropriate time, you have no idea if now is the right time to do it or not. In fact it probably isn't, you're probably updating the previously-drawn cell with your new color and alignment, which may be the strange behavior you're seeing.
    Also, I don't see why you're doing the super. All that's going to do is return "this", so why not just use "this"?
    Well, without knowing your larger code or exactly what you're trying to accomplish, maybe I'm just missing something.
    I've just recently been working on a program where I had some similar requirements -- different foreground and background colors and alignment -- and I found it much cleaner to create a class to hold all this data, and then create a default renderer for that class. Then I made some constructors for this "attribute" class that let me set whatever I need, like
    public CellAttrib(String s,Color c,int alignment,Border border)
      this.s=s;
      this.c=c;
      this.border=border;
    // with suitable defaults ...
    pubic CellAtrtrib(String s)
      this.s=s;
      this.c=Color.BLACK;
      this.border=null;
    }Then the renderer just queried the cell-attributes class, as in:
    setForeground(value.getColor());
    setHorizontalAlignment(value.getAlignment());
    setBorder(value.getBorder);
