Different Receiver Service for Program

Hi,
I am sending data from SAP to FTP Server using XI.
I am using One communcation channel and One reciever service to write data into
differnt directories on FTP.I have created 3 batch jobs to run the Proxy Program
in Sap.If the batch jobs are run at same time Will it have any effect on Performance
as one service is defined to write data?Do I have to create differnt services for each
job.

Hi Rekha,
The batch jobs wouldn't effect the performance, provided atleast there is some minute delay(say in 'ms') in starting the batch jobs, so that the later ones will be in queue. As the size of file also does matter, it's always preferred to have some delay in executing the batch jobs.

Cant start service for program located on D drive, after VM migration to vmware

Hi All,
Let me just explain a bit the problem that Im facing.
We've migration a couple of VMs from HyperV2012 to vmware. The migration was done (P2V from vmware).
Some of the VMs have services which startup files are located on D drive. The D drive had to be manually attached to the VM after the migration.
But then the following issue occurred. If a service has it exe files on drive D or any other drive except C, and is being runas a domain user doesnt want to start (error is: Access is denied.). The same happens for tasks that run programs located on other
drives which are started by a domain user.
Also the admin shares for D$ E$ etc... isnt available for the domain user.
This happens event for domain admins. The permissions are there, Iv checked that multiply times.
Anyone has an idea what is happening and how to fix the issue, and why suddenly the rest of the drives cant be accessed correctly?

To troubleshoot the "access denied" error on windows service, please try to use the
Process monitor and find the relevant error information to make the further troubleshooting.

Select receiving system for program RHALESMD

Hi All,
When I run program RHALESMD in transaction se38H, the information says that the receiving systems are determined on the basis of the distribution model for this message type (HRMD_ABA in our case).
For them moment we have two systeme recieving informatoin for message type HRMD_ABA.
We would like to create a batch job which will run RHALESMD every night, but we only want one of the systems to receive the information from this batch job. (the other system still needs to exist in the distribution model)
Does anyone know if this is possible and which actions to take?

Mikael, I'm not familiar with this specific program, but it seems that it's similar to RBDMIDOC, which also creates IDocs from the change pointers. The process, in a nutshell, is like this. When this program runs, a master IDoc is created. Then SAP looks at the distribution model and creates the distribution IDocs (might not be the right term) according to the distribution model in BD64. Those IDocs are then sent out, according to their settings.
It is, unfortunately, not possible to prevent the master IDoc creation using this program. However, I believe you can simply delay the IDoc distribution to the other system. When using RBDMIDOC, the second step is to run RSEOUT00 to actually send the IDocs. This program has the partner function/name as a parameter.

GW Host/ Service for program SAPSLDAPI on PO 7.31 single-stack

Hi there,
We are running SAP PO 731 on SPS07 and are currently connecting all backend systems as proxys. All is done and all is working fine.
But when i checked my configurations i saw sth., which is not so pretty in our configuration.
In detail: To use proxys, you have defined among others a rfc connection with the name "SAPSLDAPI" (program iD maybe SAPSLDAPI_<SID of PO>). Testing is possible with Tx sldcheck or Tx sldapicust.
On PO java stack, you have to set this JCO in the "JCO RFC-Provider". To start it, you need a GATEWAY HOST/ SERVICE.
In the former pi releases you have a double stack installation with a gateway inside the abap stack (Tx smgw), but now on a single java stack, i don't know where i can run the program (ID).
As not pretty solution, i set our solman as gateway host. But this system is not defined as a high avalaible system and that's why i have some stomachache.
So, here my possibilities/ questions:
1. whats's about the gwrd process from the central services of our PO java stack? Can i run the program ID here locally? Is this possible?
If yes, could you provide me documentation? I tried it without success.
2. Or should i install standalone gateways on our same PO hosts? 3-tier as our 731-PO-landscape?
3. Or should i set many JCOs in the "JCO RFC-Provider" and start the the program (ID) in the corresponding backend system? F.ex. SAPSLDAPI_<SID of PO>_<SID of ERP> running in system ERP

Receiver Determination for differnet recordsets

i 'm reading some files into the xi with the file adapter and content conversion. the result is a incoming message with some recordsets looking like this:

my data is in fieldA and a flag for the receiver in fieldB (fieldB = 1 then send row to receiver 1, fieldB = 2 -> receiver 2).
at configuration i created a receiver determination where i setup 2 different receiver services and then created a condition:
MY_MT/Record/Row/fieldB = 1 for receiver 1
MY_MT/Record/Row/fieldB = 2 for receiver 2
a message like below is send to both receivers, but i just want to send all Rows with fieldB = 1 to receiver 1.

Hi
As par current configuration settings, your choosing a reciver on the basis of flag.
But same input is given to both recivers.
What you want is hust separate the content based on flag.
Two options:
Conditional reciver:-
Use two different mapping program for the same.
In first mapping choose all DAta whose flag is one,
and in another mapping
Choose all the data whose flag is two.
and wonder you will get two different outputs depending on your flag.
Use multimapping:
Instead of going for two mapping programs, just go for single mapping program, and just go through the blog

Go for message instance level mapping, It is easy and one time work.....

Over billed - Contacted Cust.Service for 21 times

Folks, This is my latest experinece with O2, I'm highly regret to be O2 Customer. Their service SUCKS.. DON'T GO FOR THEM AGAIN & DON'T EVER SUGGEST O2 My message to O2 team after *bleep* off by conatcting cust.care agents:=========================================================================
Ref: Escallation for Over billing – Unsolved issued – Contacted for 21 times This is regarding your worst & pathetic billing system management & disastrous customer service on complains management and customer queries.
1) In May'15 I was billing for nearly £130, due to international text which triggered from my iPhone app, though I was "opted-out" from International Calls, Text & Special numbers... still it went through and I was charged for those. It is number 1 evidence of your poor IT systems and customer query management.
2) I contacted customer service agent and got this over bill issue sorted out. However by the time I contacted, the bill was generated and agent advised to take off Direct Debit (as she deactivated DD from her end on behalf of me). The issue was solved for the time being and I cleared payment on 21st June for May month bill.
3) Again I noticed I was over charged of £30 excess than usual bill and found out that the VAT which was attracted on above said £130 is yet to remove. Since then that is the biggest issue, each time I call agent they make false promises to remove but never happens and not only that each time I call, every agent concludes different reasons for that £30 excess, again false promises to remove but NEVER THAT TAKES IT OFF.
- Since May'15 - I contacted your O2 Customer service for 21 times
- My last call/case ID with your agent was yesterday – 678748262
- Yesterday the agent kept same false practise of promising to send some details over text but never did – Though I’m really surprised, as it is O2 culture.
- I was disconnected for more than 4 times during these issue transition.
- on an average I spent 40 mins each time I call customer service.
My Questions to you:
- Is this a normal practice of to make your customers go over billed to bag extra money for your own mistakes?
- Don't you have any ethical values or shame on any corner of your business practise?
- How many times would you expect your customers to call and spend their personal time to sort out an issue which triggered due to your inefficiency and incapability?
- Do you think spending huge funds on marketing & Adverts and ditching customers on the background is the core of your business success?
- Don’t think once committed for a promise must be accomplished?
What am I Expecting?
- My problem should be sorted out immediately?
- I wasn't treated fairly and not received service for what I was paid for
- I must be compensated for whatever the damage is happen to me

Although I'm not sure how exactly you might not know, but considering how many scam/rip off apps are around these days, I wouldn't be surprised if it was unintentional!

Is it possible to use two different help services for printing in the same web template (for the same table item)?

I was thinking that you maybe could change the param name values for the "Help_service" and the "help_service_class" at runtime using the properties for the table item, so that you could choose which one to use, but I havne't been able to do that so far.

This is not a problem. Just put the print service for the print to excel on an object other than the table web item. As long as these print services exist on any web item, you should be able to invoke them. I've tested this with putting the "Print with Excel" service on the Navigation Block Web Item and the other print service on the table web item. Hope that helps!

Same sender and receiver service but different communication channel

I am doing a scenario Proxy to JMS,HTTP and SOAP Adapter ( everything resides in the same recieiver service )
Mesage from SRM System ( proxy ) has to sent to MQ service. But in MQ I have to pass to the same message to three different nodes namely - JMS, HTTP and SOAP Adapter.
I tried to configure Multiple receivers in the receiver determination. Its doesn't allow add the same service.
Even if i configured with Multiple services for each nodes - its not allowing to create receiver detemination. It says already exits
Please tell me fesible solution how to deisgn this

you need to use only one receiver determination in your case...do not add the receivers
u can have 3 different interface determinations and in each case the sender / receiver / outbound interface will be the same ..
only the inbound interface will change ....so u will have 3 inbound interfaces ..

Same IDoc, different communication channels for receiver

Hi,
In my file-to-IDoc scenario I need to send the same IDoc type to 2 different receiver channels. But these channels are created in the same service, and also the sender service is the same in both cases, so I cannot create two receiver agreements (one per channel).
I've tried to create a message interface with the IDoc as message type, allowing me to create two receiver agreement this way. But then sxmb_moni shows a kind of error like this:
"IDOC_ADAPTER">ATTRIBUTE_WRONG_INTF
Unable to interpret IDoc interface
I've been searching in the forum, but I couldn't find anything useful for this issue. Can you help me with this?

The upgrade patch cannot be installed by the windows installer service because the program to be upgraded may be missing, or the upgrade patch may update a different version of the program

The application was installed 2 days prior and works fine but the patch will not install.

Yes let's see if there is any error occurs in installation log.
Meanwhile from the error message, the possible cause is that a part of the application is missing such as a registry key with app version. In this situation you can first test to reinstall/repair the application though it is still working fine - see if issue
persists after reinstall the app.
Meanwhile you could also contact Citrix about this issue. It may be a common issue and Citrix may provide a quick fix for it.

Receive data for same IDOC from 2 different scenarios

I have already scenario that received xml file and transfer data to IDOC (The IDOC is purchase order).
This scenario works fine.
Now I try to add more scenarios. This scenario takes files from other xml source work with new mapping and transfer data to same IDOC.
The problem is in integration builder u2013
When I try to create receiver agreement the message the message "Object already exists" appear.
How can I solve this issue?

Does this mean that the other xml source is from the same party? If yes, then that party is already configured in your receiver agreement as explained by the error "Object already exists".
If the xml source is from a different party. What you can do is to delete the existing receiver determination. Make a new one and replace the party with an "*", in that way, increasing the parties would only consist of one receiver determination for that particular interface. You would only have to add sender and receiver agreements.

check out the program of the iw32 tcode.
then in debugging mode find the code where exactly the requirement is going on with the code of the program.
then copy that code in your custom program and do the needful changes.
