Difficulty switching apps - button stuck (?) on iPad Mini 2013

the round button at the bottom of the iPad MINI (the first one, purchased a year or so ago...)
it must be broken, or stuck or something, I have to hold it down unbelievably hard before it will change apps ...
I have to press it so hard it really hurts my finger.
Is this something common to the 2013 iPad Mini? Or just a flaw on mine?
by contrast, on my older full size iPad, it just takes a light touch to that button and the app is changed.
what to do?
I'd appreciate any feedback!

settings->itunes & app stores-> if the appleID there is not the one the apps was bought with what you describe will happen
click on the appleID and log out and then login with the correct appleID should fix it

Maybe your internet is very slow.
Try reset iPad
Hold down the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears
Note: Data will not be affected.

It crashes for   object.stringValue.
For object.type, it returns org.iso.Aztec.
for other barcode types it is scanning properly without any issue.
Please let me know if any one observed the same ? or have any solution.

Delete the app and redownload.
Try this - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.) No data/files will be erased.

Yes, it will now always show that you purchased it, but with it deleted from ipad, when yu click the icon to download again, it will download the latest versioon available from the app store.
You cannot delete what is in the app store. nor can you erase your previous history of purchasing the app.

The deleting apps restriction is new in iOS 6 but is available only on supervised devices. You can supervise devices and create and install a configuration profile containing this restriction using Apple Configurator.

The app icon remains "dim" on iPad desktop with one of the two messages. The messages change depending upon sync with iTunes or power-up from a shutdown. Tried assigning v30 and v31 as viewer versions, neither appear to work. The certificate signing appear to work without incident. The appropriate profile appears correctly within the iPad does not show it is expired.

This happens when the mobileprovision file does not include the device ID of the device you are attempting to install onto. You need to recreate the .mobileprovision file and make absolutely sure the device ID for the devices are included.

There's no way to give a number since it depends on the size of the apps. Some are quite small, but some take up a lot of space. I have apps as small as 7MB and some well over 300MB, and I'm sure those are by no means the largest apps that exist. So there's no way we can really answer your question other than to say that after taking into account the amount of space the OS and bundles apps take up and the difference in how the capacity is listed between technical specs and what an operating system can use, a 32GB iPad will have about 28GB of usable capacity.

Often when I switch on bluetooth on my iPad Mini (First Generation) running iOS 8.2, my iPad suddenly restarts! This has happened all through every version of iOS 8. Can anyone help me fix this?

One of the best ways to isolate issues is to restore the software on your device. To do so, let’s backup your device and restore it as new. Apps stop wprking on ipad mini

The applications which I was installed on my Ipad mini stoppped to working. When I click on it , they start to show up, but les than a second they disappering.
Not all the apps doing it, but many.
If I doubble click on the main button, i find them on the bottom line, it show they are working, but I can't bring them up.
I do not have internet connection this time when it is heppening.
I try to switch off the wifi, or put the Ipad on plane mode but still the same.
When I go back to that are where I have internet connections, everything come back to work.

Find iPhone app not working with iPad mini

I opened "find iPhone" app on my iPad Mini and my iPhone location is correct, but my iPad Mini is showing up at a past address 2000 miles away on the East coast. I have never even taken this iPad to that address. Any ideas?

You can't.
If its not a universal app, you are stuck with the phone version unless you buy the HD version.
Look for the 2x button on the screen with app open.

I haven't had any problems with the 2 mini's we have.
Are you trying to download OTA [over the air] or connected to a computer...try and switch it up if you haven't tried both options.
If that doesn't work, reboot your device by holding the lock button and home button simultaneously until you see the apple logo, then let go of the buttons and let it reboot. See if that helps.
