Disable a date field in the shopping card in 4.O

this is for a PO creation .
When PO is created then in the item overview i have a field of date type i want to make it uneditable.
But it should work only for limit order.

I am not sure if you have this BADI in SRM 4.0. If you do, you can use BBP_UI_CONTROL_BADI. OSS note 974236.
If not, you may have to alter the HTML templates and put logic in there.

Sorting of Date field in the SQL Query useing ORDER BY

Hi
I am facing a problem when I am getting the results of a query from the ORacle 8i database using jdbc connection.
The query is having a date field and I have to sort the query results using ORDER By for the Date field. The query is giving exact results in the SQL PLus interface.
When I am getting this results in the GUI where servlets are being used an Exception is coming as not supported RefreshRow method.
If anyone has faced this problem and have got the solutions please let me know.

More like you trying to do updates on the resultset which is not allowed ...

Date fields in the Maintainence View.

Hello friends,
I created a maintanence view which of 2 steps. This view contains a DATE field of data element type 'DATS". Now the problem is -"
1. In the first screen of the viewI am not able to see only the DATE field(Over view scr).
2. But I able to see the same field in the 2nd screen(Maintanence Screen).
Not only to my View I maintained ' Table Maintanence Generator" to some more tables.There also I am not able to see the date field in the first screen, unless it is a key field.

Enter Table Description (Mandatory Field)
Select Delivery Class
Set maintenance level
Enter Fields, Assign Data Elements
Save Entries
Check Inconsistencies
Activate Table
Go To Technical Settings (SCREEN 104)
Delivery Class: The delivery class controls the transport of table data when
installing or upgrading, in a client copy and when transporting between customer
systems. The delivery class is also used in the extended table
maintenance.
There are the following delivery classes:
A: Application table (master and transaction data).
C: Customer table, data is maintained by the customer only.
L: Table for storing temporary data.
G: Customer table. The customer namespace must be defined in table TRESC. (Use
Report RDDKOR54 here).
E: System table with its own namespaces for customer entries.
S: System table, data changes have the same status as program changes.
W: System table (e.g. table of the development environment) whose
data is transported with its own transport objects (e.g. R3TR PROG, R3TR TABL,
etc.).
Data Browser/Table View Maint.: This indicator specifies
whether it is possible to display/maintain a table or view using the maintenance
tools Data Browser (transaction SE16) and table view maintenance (transactions
SM30 and SM31).
MANDT field is mandatory for Client dependant tables
Technical Settings: The technical settings control, for example, table buffering.
Indexes: To speed up data selection, you can create secondary indexes for the table
Append Structure: Append structures are used for enhancements that are not included in the standard.

Select Data Class (Mandatory) [APPL0]
Select Size Category (Table size - No. of records - Mandatory) [1 to 6]
Specify Buffering [allowed / not allowed]
Save
Check Inconsistencies
Activate & Go Back to Maintain Table Screen
Data Class: The data class defines the physical area of the database (for ORACLE
the TABLESPACE) in which your table is logically stored. If you choose a data
class correctly, your table will automatically be assigned to the correct area
when it is created on the database.

Specify the date format as YYYYMMDD in where condition.
Dates are internally stored in SAP as YYYYMMDD only.
Change your date format in WHERE condition as follows.
data itab like equk occurs 0 with header line.
select * from equk into table itab where werks = 'C001'
and bdatu = <b>'99991231'.</b>
I doubt check your data base table EQUK on this date for the existince of data.
Otherwise, just change the conidition on BDATU like below to see all entries prior to this date.
data itab like equk occurs 0 with header line.
select * from equk into table itab where werks = 'C001'
and <b> bdatu <= '99991231'.</b>

Problem with displaying Date field in the table.

Hi All,
I am trying to display data into a table UI Element.
In that data, i have one DATE type field. While displaying data in DATE field, it will display like this "01.02.2009".
Now my requirement is if i want to modify that DATE field, it will allow to modify "01.02.2009" to "26.02.2009".
But while modifying DATE field , I want to show the Calender of that month, in that i have to select the another date.
(Like normal Date UI Element will show that calender).
Can anyone please help me.

Go to the context attribute that was mapped to the DATE field of the table and change the perperty INPUT HELP MODE to AUTOMATIC and it works.

I created a form with a submit button and the form is sent via email. Can the date when the form is submitted show up in a date field with the button is pressed?

there is a preSubmit event for form objects you can use.
Select your date field, open the script editor and add this script (language is FormCalc) into the preSubmit event.

Modify the text of a data field on the screen

Hi,
I am looking to change the text of a SAP data field on the display screen for an infotype 106. I have the required object key for it. When I entered the key it logged me successfully, however it displayed a message that I am not authroized for changes. Infact as a developer my user profile has the highest authroization level 'SAP_ALL'.
I am looking to modify the module pool MP010600 and screen number 0100 on the infotype screen 106.
It displays the message:
"you have no authroizations for the authroization object 'S_DEVELOP' which would allow you to change the screen'. I checked with the admin guy. He did not have a clue either. Am I missing something?
Any thoughts how to resolve it?

I am trying to perform AO (pci 6723) and to trigger my AO card (pci
6254) to read the data coming from the AO card. I am using LV7,1,
win2000.
Is an RTSI cable necessary or I can connect the trigger signals externally ?
I am using the LV example " multi function - synch ai-ao.vi" but i can't for some reason configure the trigger lines.

Hello Yiannis,
If I understand you correctly, you want to synchronize your analog input and analog output that are started by a trigger on the analog input board. If you don't want to use the RTSI lines, your best bet is to export the AI Sample Clock and then read it in to the AO board. There is an example on ni.com called DAQmx - Synchronized AIAO Shared Clock. It appears to be having techincal issues so I have attached the example below. To export ai/sampleclock, use DAQmx Export Signal.vi after Get Terminal Name with Device Prefix.vi. Export Sample Clock to PFI3 (There are only connections between the sample clock and PCI3/4/8/9). Connect PFI3 on your AI board to PFI0 on your AO board (with a wire). Then change the source for the AO Timing.vi to Devx/PFI0. If you want to do triggering, stick the DAQmx Trigger.vi between the Timing property node and the DAQmx Start.vi on the AI task. I have shown how to do this in the modified version below. Please take a look at it and let me know if you have any questions. If you still get an error please take a screenshot of it and post to the forum. Have a great day!

What is the process name here (Like renderPDF process) which extract data from pdf.

Using a parmater field for a Date field using the "in the period" selection

Users would like to fetch records using the "in the period" record selection. They would like to be prompted on the period to run the report. ie
MonthToDate
YearToDate
Last7Days
Last4WeeksToSun
LastFullWeek
LastFullMonth
AllDatesToToday
etc...
I've created a parameter with a dropdown list of values. However the parmeter field I created isn't available as a value in the date field in the "Select Record Expert" function.
Is there a work around?

Unfortunately you still have a little bit more work to do... but not much.
You need to add a formula to your selection criteria. Something along these lines:

IF {?DateRange} = "Last7Days" THEN {TableName.DateField} in Last7Days ELSE

IF {?DateRange} = "LastFullWeek" THEN {TableName.DateField} in LastFullWeek ELSE

IF {?DateRange} = "AllDatesToToday" THEN {TableName.DateField} in AllDatesToToday
On the plus side, you'll be able to go back into your parameter and add some spaces to list options... which will look better for the end users.

You need not modify the xml file. You have to change the JSP file(not sure which one) for your application using the netweaver developer studio.

Focus lost in Date Field when the property autosubmit="true" is added

I am using jdeveloper version 11.1.2.0.0.
The issue I am facing is when I add the property autosubmit="true" for a date field and if I am selecting a date value using date picker, the focus is lost for the date field. But when I remove the property autosubmit="true" for the date field and if I am selecting a date value using date picker, the focus stays in the date field. This I tried in sample application with the default converter and validator. Anybody can help me with this issue?

Warranty Date field in the equipment master data

Hi everyone!
I wanted to display the warranty date field in the equipment master data (IE01). I have already made the configuration and added the additional tab and screen thru this path:
Plant Maintenance and Customer Service > Master Data in Plant Maintenance and Customer Service > Technical Objects > General Data > Set View Profile for Technical Objects
But still, the tab is not added and the warranty date field is not found in the "Define Field Selection for the Equipment Master Record". please help me with this. We need this data because we are not using serial numbering and warranty master data that's why a way to track the warranty date is thru this adjustment in the equipment master data screen.

Make sure that you have assigned this specific profile to the Equipment category of the associated equipment that you are creating under SPRO > PM> Master data> tech object > Equipment > Equip category.
