Disable cursor when using BufferStrategy

Hi,
Using double buffering under Windows XP (createBufferStrategy(2);), causes the cursor to flash in sync with the buffer flipping. The obvious solution to this is to turn the cursor off. I can find no method to do this other than defining an empty cursor as follows:
     Toolkit toolkit = Toolkit.getDefaultToolkit();
     Image image = toolkit.getImage("none.png");
     Cursor none =
          toolkit.createCustomCursor(image, new Point(0, 0), "none");
     setCursor(none);
Where none.png doesn't exist. This seems to me to be a long winded method of disabling the cursor. Am I missing something obvious?

Disable cursor when tab-switching

Is there a possibility to disable cursor selection when changing apps with tab-switching, while the command key is pressed? When using a tablet it's extremely annoying since you have to lift the pen away every time. I'd like the list of app icons to ignore any movement of the cursor above it.

You can remove the checkmark on "Open Tabs" in the location bar settings.

Note that you can hold down the Alt or Shift key while an entry in the drop down list is highlighted to disable "Switch to tab" and see the URL of all entries instead.
* Alt + Enter opens the highlighted URL in a new tab.
* Shift + Enter opens the highlighted URL in the current tab.
* Cursor Right copies the highlighted URL to the location bar in case you want to edit it.

So, I tried to use that to startup my weblogic server using that, 2 tries:
1. It gives an error during startup:

Why I cannot process a disabled field when using htmldb_item

I have a report that has this in the select statement

The above shows correctly. If there are 2 records one field is disable and the other is enabled.
I have a process that fires on submit - after Computations and Validations. But the records don't changed when updating the enabled one.
In debugging and writing to a file using the UTL_FILE package, I'm able to pinpoint that the disable fields are the problem.
Is there a trick on manually processing disabled fields?
I've found that when I uncheck the show box in the report, I cannot use the fields either. This is not a problem, just another comment.
My main problem is what do I have to do to manually process a disabled field.
Thanks for your help, comments, pointers, or anything that could help me or give me ideas.

Juan - HTML items with the disabled attribute are not POSTed with the form so your after-submit processes never see them. Try 'readonly="readonly"' instead. Others may be able to suggest how to also give those cells a greyed-out appearance.

Constant "spinning wait cursor" when using firefox 3.6.13 on a MacPro 1,1 2006 with 11GB of memory

After about 1 hour of use I am getting the "spinning wait cursor" in firefox when I do pretty much anything. Scrolling, link hovers, switching tabs, inspecting DOM tags in firebug, typing in textboxes, you name it. This only recently started happening on my MacPro, and has yet to rear its ugly head on my MacbookPro laptop. Not sure if its my RAM or something....regardless, basically makes firefox useless. In fact, im posting this question in Chrome.
Usually when firefox gets slow I run SQLite VACCUUM on the profile databases and it helps. This time, no dice. Basically just unusable.

Processor Name: Dual-Core Intel Xeon
Processor Speed: 2.66 GHz

Disable authentication when using apps

I don't know what changed on my iPhone, I began asking me to authenticate my
Apple ID when it try to access certain apps. Can this be undone/disabled?

Have you got notifications muted ? Only notifications (including games) get muted, so the iPod and Videos apps, and headphones, still get sound.
Depending on what you've got Settings > General > Use Side Switch To set to (mute or rotation lock), then you can mute notifications by the switch on the right hand side of the iPad, or via the taskbar : double-click the home button; slide from the left; and it's the icon far left; press home again to exit the taskbar. Disable Nvidia Card Using Bumblebee

Hi,
I had Nvidia Optimus disabled through BIOS but it seems their is a neat way to disable Nvidia NVS 4200 in Arch using Bumblebee which is very helpful as I am still setting up my Arch system and use windows and nvidia card. Nvidia card adds another 5 degrees of heat to my system and I would like to disable it when using Arch.
I installed bumblebee and bumblebee-thinkpad_w520_t520_t420 from AUR. I have added bumblebee group. bumblebee and dkms is in daemon category of rc.conf and nvidia and acpi_call is in module section. I get following error when loading nvidia module.
modprobe nvidia
FATAL: Error inserting nvidia (/lib/modules/3.1.8-1-ARCH/kernel/drivers/video/nvidia.ko): No such device
This is what i have in end of dmesg

Proxy Password Disabled When Using Safari

I have been successfully using my iPad at work for the past 3 weeks. We utilize a proxy and I manually entered my credentials in the wi-fi settings. Each time Safari opened, I was still required to enter my proxy credentials. Annoying, but not a big deal...
Last week I was required to change my password. After my password was changed, I immediately went to my iPad and also updated my credentials. When I opened Safari it requested by credentials, I typed in my new password and my 1st page loaded. I went to another page and was immediatly asked for my credentials again. I entered them, and was prompted over and over again for my credentials... It ended up that my user profile had been disabled.
This only occurs when using Safari. I can use the mail app and app store without issue. Once I log in to Safari, my profile is disabled.
I have tried clearing Safari's cace, passwords, & history. But nothing seems to help.
Has anyone else seen this?

Cursors are not closed when using Ref Cursor Query in a report ORA-01000

Oracel database 11g,
developer suite 10.1.2.0.2,
application server 10.1.2.0.2,
Windows xp platform
For a long time, I'm hitting ORA-01000
I have a 2 group report (master and detail) using Ref Cusor query, when this report is run, I found that it opens several cursors (should be only one cursor) for the detail query although it should not, I found that the number of these cursors is equal to the number of master records.
Moreover, after the report is finished, these cursors are not closed, and they are increasing cumulatively each time I run the report, and finally the maximum number of open cursors is exceeded, and thus I get ORA-01000.
I increased the open cursors parameter for the database to an unbeleivable value 30000, but of course it will be exceeded during the session because the cursors are increasing cumulatively.
I Found that this problem is solved when using only one master Ref Cursor Query and create a breake group, the problem is solved also if we use SQL Query instead of Ref Query for the master and detail queries, but for some considerations, I should not use neither breake group nor SQL Query, I have to use REF Cursor queries.
Is this an oracle bug , and how can I overcome ?

When using working apple ID keep getting message cookies are disabled but they are enabled for visited and also tried always

I gave an ipod touch 4 to my youngest son for his birthday.
Installed iTunes and updated firmware to 4.3.5 (8L1); all OK
Created Apple ID and can logon to this using computer.
When using the working apple ID on the iPod however, keep getting message cookies are disabled. This after it directs to review the new accoutn info.
But cookies are enabled for 'visted'. Also tried 'always'
Also tried hard reset.
Spent a whole day trying to get an apple dev working; still can't use any app.
Needless to say my son is very disappinted (and so am I) :-(
Is there any way to get this working, or should I simply ask for a refund?

Head to Settings -> Safari and tap Clear History, Clear Cookies, and Clear Cache and see if that does any good.
What happens when you rewiew the account info? Do you verify the provided information?

Add to favourites disabled when using light framework page

Hi,
When using the light framework page our "add to favourites" link is disabled. If we instead use the normal framework page add to favourites in the dropdown menu works. Does anyone have an idea why this could be?

The reason why I decide to use Light Framework, itu2019s because Iu2019m creating an EFP, and Iu2019m using the WPC to publish the content (articles, news, and link list), using the standard Web Forms.
The problem is, after adding to a WPC Page something so simple like an article (using the Web Form Article), no Portal iView, HTMLB or other stuff included, the preview of the WPC Page using the Default Framework Page is ok, but when using the Light Framework Page, the text in the article doesnu2019t have the correct font-family. It looks like there are some styles missing in the Light Framework Page, that WPC content is expecting.

K3011w - How disable the touchpad when using USB mouse?

Is there a way to disable the touchpad on the docking keybd when using a USB mouse? It is a real pain typing along and be in the middle of sentence some where else on the page.

   The touchpad on the dock uses a Windows driver and does not have any special Software to Disable it via shortcut,
How I found to go around on what you need is
With the tablet on the dock with no USB mouse yet
                  Press (Windows key+x) and choose device manager on the list
                        On Device Manager window open mice and pointing device and rightclick disable
This should disable the dock touchpad and Now you can plu in your USB mouse,
Before you unplu your USB mouse after use, Go to device manager again and Enable the device you disabled.
