Disabled Add Button on Visual Adminitrator

Hello there,
I'm following this steps to add J2EE_admin user into the administartor users
1. Start the Visual Administrator.
2. Go to Server -> Services -> Security
Provider
3. Choose the ?Security Roles? tab.
4. Choose component ?SAP-J2EEEngine?.
5. Choose the ?administrators? role and
choose the ?Add? under Users.
6. Specify ?J2EE_ADMIN? and hit
Search. Choose ?J2EE_ADMIN? and
hit OK.
7. Make sure the ?J2EE_ADMIN? user
exists under Users.
8. Choose KeyStoreViewCreator and
make sure the user ?J2EE_ADMIN?
is added to that role as well.
The problem is that whem I get to step 5, the add button is disabled
Any ideas ?

Hi Pooja,
You can set the property insert allowed to false for the entity map related to attachment item in page definition.
Now in your controller, you can set this to true if your condition is achieved.
Dictionary[] entityMaps = attBean.getEntityMappings()
entityMaps[0].remove("insertAllowed");
entityMaps[0].put("insertAllowed", false);
attBean.setEntityMappings(entityMaps);

Disabled Add Document button

I installed the EPPM 8.2 with my SharePoint Server 2007 as content repository. But I can not attach a file because the ADD button is disable. Please see these images.

This could be an issue with your P6 Admin Configuration for Content Repository. Review WebAccessLog in the p6 install folder to get more details. Additionally check Weblogic server log file for the error.

Disable Add Attach Button in the Interactive PDF form

Hi all,
Can you please let me know if is possible to disable the Add Attachment Button for the interactive form?
I need to show the attachment icon on the toolbar (setShowOption method from IWDPDFDocumentAppearance interface) but I need to disable the ability to add an attachment.

Disable "Add item" and "Paste" button on item level of shopping cart

I would like to disable the "Add item" and "Paste" button on the item level when editing a shopping cart awaiting approval. I have been able to accomplish this for the buttons "Delete", "Duplicate", and "Copy" already. I have done this by adding an enhancement implementation in the class /SAPSRM/CL_PDO_DYN_MDA_IT_SC under the methods DELETE_ITEM (delete button), COPY_ITEM (duplicate button), and COPY_CLIP (copy button). This enhancement gets the shopping cart header guid, then uses the function module "BBP_PD_SC_GETDETAIL" to return the table e_status to check if the shopping cart is awaiting approval. If it is it will disable the buttons, making them equal to abap_false.
I would like to do this same thing to the "Add item" and "Paste" buttons but they are not listed in the the same class. Does anyone know what class they are called in?
I have tried looking in SPRO -> SAP Supplier Relationship Management -> SRM Server -> Cross-Application Basic Settings -> Extensions and Field Control (Personalization) -> Control Actions -> Display Standard Metadata Tables for Actions on Item Level. I can't find the "Add item" and "Paste" buttons in here for BUS2121(shopping cart) under Edit mode. Anyone have any ideas?

I did as you suggested and was able to break on the method as expected. I made the same coding changes as I had in the other methods where I put in an enhancement but it would not work.
I was able to solve this problem by creating an enhancement in the Web Dynpro where the buttons were being displayed. I created a 'Post-Exit' enhancement for the WDDOMODIFYVIEW method. Within this I added my custom logic to disable the Add Item and Paste buttons when in editing a shopping cart that is awaiting approval.

CF10 HF7 shows Win2k3 PerfMon Counters but Add button disabled

So i wanted to use Windows' PerfMon to do a long time log to get a timestamp to corelate with the server logs ...
However, PerfMon shows the CF10 and its options, but the Add button for all options or select ones is disabled (grayed out). However, PerfMon does show their explanations.
In CF, we have set Server Monitoring on, except for memory, because memory is not an issue.
I checked all related msgs here, but no one has this behavior i am facing ...

Firefox won't open; tried all I found on this site; can't get in to disable add-ons.

Firefox will not open. Little wheel spins, then disappears. Nothing.
Re-started computer - several times.
Reinstalled Firefox. Nothing. Can't open in Admin. Can't open with double click or with right-click "Open".
Many fixes on this site suggest going to the Firefox button to disable add-ons - of which I have few - however since Firefox won't start, I can't try these options.
Can't get to my profile. (Have not changed my profile or add-ons for ages.)
This seems to have happened right after the most recent update.
I've read everything I can find on this website and other places, and can't make it work.
Can't find old Firefox on program list, thus can't uninstall old version - perhaps this occurred automatically with new Firefox download?.
Ran Spybot and deleted some adware and mal-ware. Still nothing. Ran Microsoft Security - nothing.
I'm running Windows 7.
I can't open the troubleshooting file offered below.

You can use one of these to start Firefox in Safe Mode:

Oracle Apps Sys Admin -- Disabling a button on a form

Hi Guys,
I want to disable a button on a form in oracle applications. Normally, i disable a button by goin to that MENU, SUBMENU(if there are any) and take the button's sub-function and add it in FUNCTION and MENU Exclusions in the reponsibility define form.
But in some forms in Oracle Inventory, i have a NEW button and am not able to find a sub-function for that. NEW and OPEN , two buttons are there . How can i disable or make that button vanish from that form. I know that it can be done thru CUSTOM.pll but without custom.pll , is there a way using this sub-functions or watever.

Yes I know about form personalization, however I still couldn't hide 2 buttons. Open vision database, under purchasing superuser > requisition summary, if you click the Find button it will open Requisition Header Summary window. In that window there are New and Open button. Now, I couldn't hide those 2 buttons cause I couldn't found the name in Item. What's the name of those 2 buttons? Thanks.

It is very interesting question. If you debug your table maintenance screen, the program of table maintenance screen will not have statically defined pf status. So you cannot exclude delete functionalities using the below statement.
SET PF-STATUS <the GUI status> EXCLUDING 'DELE'.
For viewing pf status SAP has programmed in dynamic manner using this FM VIEW_SET_PF_STATUS.
Before calling above FM you need to exclude delete function. Follow the following step for achieving this
Go to sm30. Put your table name and press on maintain push button. It will display table entries in maintenance screen.
Go to system->status
Click on program name.
Go to your flow logic of you table maintenance screen number.
It will have following code in flow logic

Please donu2019t hardcode anything by using set pf status statment, you just add one line of code the PBO by creating new module.

Enabling/Disabling a button in Web appl. based on exception in a Query

Hi all,
I am wondering whether we can grey out a button in the web applic. designer based on whether a report has an exception showing.
So now we can enable or disable a button, so at runtime, when the web app runs, and a condition is visible in the analysis item table, then the button (save for example) should be disabled, otherwise if there are no exceptions then it should be enabled.
I am thinking Javascript, but not sure how to read the exceptions in a web apps query?

How to Remove Disabled Add-ons

Working add-ons can be removed easily with a single button - whereas, disabled ones are not presented in the Add-on Manager with a means for removal.
Seems an oversight; but in any event, with nothing in the FAQs about removing disabled add-ons, I'm hoping someone will point the way to add-on handling details

Of course I tried uninstalling via the original install route in the originating program before coming here. ¡D ooh! There's no apparent effect.

Use rich:fileUpload/ to enable/disable my buttons with checking file names

I need to upload some files with using <rich:fileUpload>,and i did it but i need to check file names for some reasons and enable or disable upload button but my problem is that when i open my modal panel and click add button of <rich:fileUpload> and then add upload button of <rich:fileUpload>(not my upload button but upload button wich <rich:fileupload> has) i check file name but the button is not enable/disable until i close my modal panel and open it agin,so i need to know how to modify my code to make it work?

No the problem is that file is being checked on server side, but if file is invalid the button Upload(my button ,not standart rich:fileUpload) must be disbaled,and shown,but i have to close this modal panel and open it again to see my button enabled/disabled

Add button on Service Calender home page grid

We tried to add the button on Service calender home page grid but not able to add it. We tried page rule, in that we used the
<PageRule Address="/sm/home_apptbook.aspx" /> but it failed to add button.
We also tried to add button using Mscrm.AptbookTab but still not succeeded.
So any one have solution on this.

Several admins have been wondering how to disable this new feature and I've been working with BusObjects Tech Support for a .NET on IIS solution. Your posting looks like what I was provided from TS on an initial effort, however, TS has updated as follows:
For .NET on IIS
In the CCM stop the World Wide Web Publishing Service
<Install Path> below refers to the location Business Objects is installed. By default it is: c:\Program Files\Business Obejcts\BusinessObjects Enterprise11.5\
Go to <Install Path>\Web Content\Enterprise115\Infoview
Open the web.config file in notepad or other text editor.
Search for the following: supportOnDemand
Change true to false
Save and close the file
In the same directory open the home.aspx in notepad or other text editor.
Search for the following: ondemandlink
Go up 2 lines to the <tr> tag. At the beginning of this line type  to the end of the line after the </tr> tag.
Now search for the following: ondemandlabel
Go up 3 lines to the <tr> tag. Place  to the end of the line after the </tr> tag.
Save and close the file.
Start the World Wide Publishing Service in the CCM.
Per advisement from Tech Support, they do plan on publishing this as a Knowledge Base article sometime soon.

SPEL to disable a button

Hi gurus
I need to make a button field enabled / disabled based on another field.
From the concurrent requests window users can choose the Option Reprint / Republish (Tools > Reprint / Republish ). This opens a page and we want to disable a button (apply) for a Particular Request.
So I am looking for an SPEL something like
${oa.RequestDetailsVO.ProgramShortName} != 'MYREQUEST'
and use the same as Rendered Property in Forms Personalization. Which expression should I use?

The SPEL as you mentioned will not work, you need to extend VO and add one transient attribute which returm false when it returns required Pragram short name otherwise true.

Enabling and disabling the button in the multi record block

hi all,
i am using
Forms [32 Bit] Version 6.0.8.24.1 (Production)
Oracle Database 10g Release 10.2.0.1.0 - Production
i have a multi record block each block contains a button(button is to approve the record in terms of changing the status)
i have the items like date,remarks and button
the button should be enabled if the remarks is not null otherwise it should be disabled.
for this in pre-record trigger i have written
if :record is null then
   set_item_property('button',enabled,property_false);
else
      set_item_property('button',enabled,property_false);
end if;what problem is enable and disable is impacting on all the buttons in the block. in other words if first record's remarks is null then all the records button is disabled. if first record's remarks column is not null then all the records of the button column is enabled.
i have to make enable and disable the button for the corresponding record.that means if first record's remarks column is not null then only first records button should be enabled others should be disabled.

You need to set the No. of items displayed to 1 as Ammad had said, additionally you can set the X and Y Position (Just Y will do and having fixed X) of the button depending upon the current record.
can u explain this part alone bit more (setting the position of x and y)You need to calculate the variable Y_POS depending upon the current position of the cursor that is the current record.
You can find the current record Y_POS using combination of
