Display a text in multiple lines inside a button

I have a toggle button bar containing many buttons as follows:

My problem is that when I have a long text, it is displayed in one ligne so the button get larger. I do not want my button to get larger it has to keep the initila size (my button is an image). I want indeed to display the text in multiple lines rather than only one.
How to do this?

Hi,
TextEdit uielement is available, which is like a text area; user can enter free text in para's,multiple lines ,etc.
Steps:
Like any other uielement, right click and insert the textedit uielement on your view.
Create an attribute 'CA_TEXT' type string and bind it with the value property of your text edit.
Change the cols and row property to adjust your text edit width and height.
Use the following code to read the contents entered in the test edit,
Data: l_elem type ref to if_wd_context_element.
Data: l_text type string.
l_elem = wd_context->get_element( ).
l_elem->get_attribute( exporting name = 'CA_TEXT'
importing value = l_text }. "l_text will now have the contents of your text edit.

Printing Text with multiple Lines

In the PrintPreview and in the Printout i get only one line.

Yes, not only RichEditBox but also RichTextBlock can also do this. Besides TextBox also have TextWrapping functionality.

Trying to create multiple lines of radio buttons on the same page. how do i do that??

Greetings. I'm brand new to this, and am trying to create a form with multiple lines of radio buttons on a single page to send to my students. How can I do this?? I currently have a table that I want the students to fill out and return, but every time I put radio buttons in, the form only allows selection of one of the 12 - I want students to be able to select one on each row.........

Each group of three radio buttons for a row should have the same field name and different "Radio Button Choice" (see Options tab). So if you copy & paste the first row, be sure to rename the new ly added radio buttons.

better option is to use INCLUDE statement in SCRIPTS. its a script control command and you no need to use READ_TEXT and to loop it and send each line to script.
if you use the above INCLUDE control command, SAP will take care of printing total text of that Object.
here is the syntax :
<b>/: INCLUDE name [OBJECT o] [ID i] [LANGUAGE l] [PARAGRAPH p] [NEW-PARAGRAPH np]</b>
here /: indicates its an Control command.
you have to use NAME, ID, LANGUAGE adn OBJECT here.
if you give these details in the Text editor of script layout,automatically data will be printed on the screen.

/: INCLUDE &EKKO-EBELN& OBJECT EKKO ID X LANGUAGE E

Problem in displaying total text in total line

PDF - Text on multiple lines become seperate objects - is there a way to prevent this?

I'm exporting to PDF from inDesign with the idea that the text would be editable with Acrobat Pro.
However, when opening the PDF in Acrobat Pro, each line is a seperate instance / object.
Is there a way around this?
I imagine I can recreate the text in Acrobat Pro - but it would be good if there was a way round from inDesign - as i imagine it would be better for SEO and screen readers. Also, i've uploaded PDFs to sites before like Slideshare, yudu, issuu which create a text only version - only the text only version is scr*wed up due to the above problemo.

When a PDF is created that's what happens. You can't export it and have paragraphs of text editable. PDFs are meant to be FINAL files.

Y-Axis Axis Text on Multiple Lines

Hello,
Is it possible to get the y-axis text in a Report for a 2D axis system to go onto two different lines instead of one? In other words, I would like to add a carriage return/line feed (CRLF) in the y-axis text between the channel name and the units. Is it possible to do this with the x-axis text?
I am using DIAdem 10.1. Let me know what else you need to know, and thanks for any and all assistance.

How to display multiple lines for texarea

I have a textarea where user can type in several lines of code. I am storing it in varchar2(2000).
When I display that textarea, it gets displayed in 1 single line that drags all the way to the right. I want it to display the text in multiple lines where each line containing no more than lets say 7 or 8 words.
How can I do that.

First, expecting an answer here in just a couple hours is optimistic to say the least (and possibly pushy at most).
To your question: You don't say which browser you're using, which could be an issue.
Since you said the user is entering lines of code, I'll assume there are spaces between the values? If not, for example, they're entering a URL, it won't wrap the line.
But I just edited a sample editable tabular form of mine and set the Element Width = 60 and Element Height = 10 and it worked as expected. My point being, you might want to try setting the Width, not just the height.

This is possible but the Solution might not look Standard/Appropriate to you.
In ALV, you can have Multiple Line Output...There is a Field in the Field Catalogue..called as Row_position...this is by default 0...which means Single row/Line ALV output....You can have this Value in the Range of 0 to 3.......A ALV field with row_position 1, will be displayed in the second line for every record...i.e. you will have multiple line for a single record of ALV.
In your case......you can use this but you need to split your field in two fields.....but you may end up spliting a single word....but for that also you can design the logic of splitting the Fiel value at SPACE only......

Text Fields of an External Content Type come across as Multiple Line of Text

In SharePoint 2013 I have an external content type that consists of a couple of short (nvarchar) fields (no more that 15 characters). When I use this ECT in a custom list the fields from the ECT end up as a "Note" type instead of "Text".
I am not sure how this happens. I have verified this by accessing the list via poweshell where I see the Type being as "Note" and also the SchemaXml showing the colName attribute as "ntext".
The strange thing is that initially when I created the web application and built my lists this was working.
Any ideas or pointers would be appreciated.

Based on your description, my understanding is that When you use the ECT in a custom list the fields from the ECT end up as a "Note" type instead of "Text".
