Display Country Name in the Form

Hi All,
I would like to do printing of the address data in the form but I'm not using the control command ADDRESS - ENDADDRESS due to I can't re-arrange of display the address data in 1 lines only.
My current problem is how I can display the country name in the form output instead of display the country key only? If Im using the control command, it's no problem to display the country name (eg: Malaysia). Please kindly advise, what are the table we can retrieve the country name/
Eg:
Country Key - MY,
Country Name - Malaysia <- This is the value I needed

county type t005t-landx.
select single landx FROM t005t into country where land1 = <country key>

Changing the name of the form when attached to an email

Good Day All;
I am wondering if there is a way to change the name of an attachment when the email button is clicked.
Let me explain.
I have designed a form that will be emailed from one are to another and when the email button is clicked the email attachment is named (example) “_150s2140t32f8b0iu.pdf”. Of course this is a meaningless name. I would like to somehow change this to better represent the name of the form.

Hi Chomp,
It sounds like you are clicking the email button when in Preview in LC Designer. When the form is being Previewed it is given a temporary name. If the form is opened in Acrobat directly, does the email button attached the form with the proper/full name?
If you want the form to be given a named based on user's inputted data, then you will need a trusted function (.js file) on every user's computer. See this discussion: http://forums.adobe.com/message/2266799#2266799.

i had modified the form for displaying the address of the Ship - to - party address, but the country name is missing in the FORM output, can any body suggest a solution for this..

Hi Abaper,
In ADRC table,you will have a field by name COUNTRY.This holds the country key.
Using this country key LAND1 in ADRC table,you will have to fetch the Country name from T005T table.The field in the T005T which holds the Country name is LANDX.
You will have to write select querries for this.
By using LANDX from T005T table ,you can display the country name.

Value in input field of Hier.Node variable displays tech.name of the IO

Dear all,
we are facing an issue with Hierarchy node variable(auth.) in the selection screen of webReports.
After selecting a hierarchy node value,it is displayed along with + sign and tech.name of the Infobject in input field .
example: lets say we have Country Hierarchy and i have selected Country group 'NAM' node..This is displayed as "+NAM(ZCOUTRYGRP)". where ZCOUTRYGRP is tech.name of the InfoObject Country group.
Expected value is just "NAM" which is Key .Does anyone have solution for this? This Problem occuers when we select Level 01 value of hierarchy and we do have hierarchy node values from same INfoObject.

How to display table name in the Record history

I have developed a new custom form. When I click on the record history, it displays details like updated_by , update_Date.
But it doesnt show the table name ( of the data block ). Is there any coding to be done to display the table name ?

Avoid printing the Country name in the SAP Script

I am printing the address of the ship to customer in SAP script using ADDRESS and ENDADDRESS. The address is formatting based on the country code that I am passing in the COUNTRY parameter. Everything looks fine. But here my requirement is It has to display the address according to COUNTRY parameter and it should display all the part of the address except country name.
I am using the following syntax

Please advise me how to avoid the country name alone from printing in the address.

Since it's only one script, you can always do it without command address, like this:

* &IT_SOLDTO_ADDRS-ORT01& &IT_SOLDTO_ADDRS-ORT02&
* &IT_SOLDTO_ADDRS-PSTLZ&
If a field is not formatted as your needs, you can always convert it yourself, it's not that hard (in driver program or create a PERFORM in script).

I have a question that relates to SharePoint Document Library Views. I want to view the Documents name with the summary in a single column. Below image shows an example of it. I need this within a SharePoint Document Library. Also I want the height of the
row to be increased more than the default height. I cannot figure it out how to do that? Could you someone help me to do this. I have inserted the Document Library as an App Part to the page.

The amount of time to evaluate each item in a Form is a lot less than you think. You are dealing with milliseconds. Worse case scenario, you might add 1 second to your form load time.
I think Francois's suggestion is the best solution, but if this is still too much time, you might concider creating strategic When-New-Item-Instance triggers on an item in each of your canvases that would perform what you want to do.
This will most likely cause problems of its own, but it is an alternative.

Nested Table: How to display formatted text in the form ?

Scenario:
I have a nested table, say TAB1, containing another table TAB2 which holds the formatted text.
Sample data
Entries in TAB1:
Column1       Column2(TAB2)
Text1         Data_from_tab2
Text2         Data_from_tab2
Text3         Data_from_tab2
Requirement:
The requirement is to display the data in TAB1 as it is maintained.
Trials:
I am aware of the fact that we can transfer the content of the nested table (in this scenario, TAB2) in another table(of type TLINE) defined as a global variable in the interface of the form. Then in the context area, we can define a 'TEXT' node and bind it to the table and choose the 'Dynamic text' for the 'text type' attribute and maintain the other atrributes.
But this approach cannot solve the issue as it is a nested table.
Kindly suggest how can I resolve this issue.

if its like colum1, column2 (tab2).
you can represent column2 as a nested table in the form. and put these tables structure intoa subform of type flowed.
then you can have the required format.
the same can also be acheived using nested subforms instead of tables.
example of such scenario is PO & line items.
po number1 , items 1
                      item 2
                      item 3
po number2 , items 1
                      item 2
                      item 3

How to display RATE names in the language of the user ?

Is there a way to display the Rate names in the language of the user ?
Or maybe have some rates displayed only in a specific language ?
I have created a FRENCH theme.
Eveyuthing works fine except that the rates are not translated.
Any idea how to have the rates in a different language ?

I am assuming you are talking about shipping rates, you would need to just make a rate for each language you want displayed (in 5.9 this will show them all i know but currently is the only way) In 2007 SP1 version (tenative name) we have added support to limit shipping rates to show only for specified countries.

Display Server Name on the title of the WINDOW : Best Way to Implement

our weblogic is deployed in a clustered environment(group of weblogic instances)(say for eg) Server01,Server02,Server03). Every time the request will go to any one of the weblogic instances. Now i need to display the server name on the title of the IE window.
Web Application : - Server02(request 1)
Web Application : - Server03(request 2)
For that i've followed the following approach.

In all jsp title,do the following.

This is working fine. I would like to know, if there's any better way of doing this?

We have one admin server and 3 managed servers.
3 managed servers are in different machines(sprd01,sprd02,sprd03).
we have a big ip configured against these managed servers. we expose only the big ip to the end user.
Based on load, the admin server will route the request to any one of the managed servers.
Reason for displaying the server name on window
The reason for displaying the Server Name (m/c name where managed server is running) on the window , is to help the developers to find out
the current logs.
log (app.log - logger file - log4j ) will go to sprd01,sprd02,sprd03.
now if we display the servername on the window, then we can direct go the machine and look for the logs.
otherwise,developer has to search for all in all the boxes.(sprd01,sprd02,sprd03)

Forms builder- only displays records created in the form builder?

Hi there. I am new to Oracle and forms builder. I just have a query. I have created a form and when I run the form, it doesnt display the data out of my database. I can add a new record using the form and it will add it to my database:

Forms starts with an empty screen(no records), only when you execute a query, the records are retrieved from the database.
This can be done by executing the "execute_query" command.
This can be done by pushing the button in the toolbaar, choosing the menu item, hitting the function key.
But it can also be done programmatically in forms code(in a trigger).
