hi ,
this is the scenario...i have an internal table in which one field is a character...and the records in the internal table field has names in it..and i have to print in form in the way that first letter is capital and rest is small hear is am example.....
internal table....ITAB with fields...X X X Char.
records in Char...

dany
aron....
these are retrieved from the data base...so there is no garnets that they are maintained in the way i required...
Records should be printed in this fashion in form...

How can I make the last photo taken display first (Arrangement by date AND time)?

In PSE 3 Organizer, if I choose Arrangement -> Date (Newest First), it puts the photos I took yesterday first, but within a day, it puts the oldest first. In other words, all of yesterday's photos are first, but the ones taken in the morning appear before the ones taken in the afternoon. I really don't think it worked like this when we first got the software, and I'd like to know how to fix it.
If I choose Arrangement -> Date (Oldest First), it seems to work correctly, sorting by date and time so that the oldest photos really are first.
Does anyone know how to fix this? I'd really appreciate the help.

What you are seeing is the default behaviour, which I think is logical - I like to see my latest batch of work near the top, but have them appear in the order I took them. There is an option in Edit/Preferences which lets you have the oldest first.

My boot camp has taken 3 hours to download... First 4 min smooth and rest of the time has been sitting at around half... Not sure what to do?

I have a text field of first_name and one of last_name. I want to make sure not matter what format the user inputs the the first letter is Capitalized and the rest is lower case. Can someone tell me how this is done? Thanks!

It depends on what you want to do with the name. If this is for inserting the name in a database and you're using PHP, it's very simple:
$name = 'DaVID';
$formatted = ucfirst(strtolower($name));
echo $formatted; // outputs 'David'
This nests two functions: the inner function, strtolower(), converts everything to lowercase, and the outer function, ucfirst(), converts the first letter to uppercase.

I am trying to change the font in a group of text, I want to change the first letter of each sentence to a large size and different color and when I do this it changes the entire paragraph in the div, so how can I change the attribute of one letter in a word? There are a couple of ways to achieve what you want. The way I would do it is to make each line a separate paragraph, and wrap them in a div with an ID called "earth". The following CSS style rule will make the first letter of each paragraph 24px tall and green:
#earth p:first-letter {
color:#090;
font-size:24px;
This uses the first-letter pseudo-element and applies it to all paragraphs in the earth div.

Hi Guys, i have a field in my form its datatype is char and user have to enter Employee's first name in this field.
Now i want that when the record is save, in the pre-insert or update trigger i want to change the case of this field in such a way that the First letter is capital and all others are small.
For example is user enters
james should be converted into James
or if he enters JAMES if is converted into James
How to validate this? Pliz help me.

Hi,
Lets assume your field name is first_name where you want to implement this functionality. Now on When-Validate-Item trigger of this field put following line:
select initcap(:first_name) into :first_name from dual;
Put this line everywhere you want this functionality. Hope that this will help you.

Something remembers my mail login name (in yahoo mail and other applications) so that as soon as the first letter is typed in the "name box" the rest of my login name is displayed. How can I stop it remembering this name?

The Mail app on the iPad/iPhone/iPod Touch does have an option to clear previous recipients. You can learn to live with it. But if you want to get rid of it, the only way to remove these cached email addresses from the Mail application is restoring the iPhone/iPod Touch as a new phone/iPod. If you restore from backup, the cache is also restored.

It's been months, so you may not care anymore, but you can't download songs from multiple Apple IDs over a 90 days period. Sorry, it's not allowed for legal reasons.

This itextsharp is third party control, for this issue, I recommended to consult the control provider directly, I think they can give more precise troubleshooting.

How do i prevent the system from keeping what u type - username, sites, etc. on search box, i just type the first letter and it comes up immediately; even my username!

When I go to a search box, i type in the first letter and the whole word comes up.

I just type anything and the next time i log, it remembers the whole word.
Please take this out of my system. I do not want it to work this way. I want all memory to be gone.

I downloaded and installed TinkerTool, even though it supposedly doesn't work past 10.5.8, in the hoopes that, what it displayed (regardless of what it could change) would be correct as far as my "System" and "System (Headlines)" font settings were (see attached screenshot of the font section of TinkerTool for my system--not mom's).
I've instructed her to install and run the utility (but not to change anything) and then send me a screenshot of the "Fonts" section so I can compare it to my own. If there's something different on her system, since TinkerTool should work on hers, we may be able to fix it that way... though it would, frustratingly enough, remain a mystery to all concerned as to how she managed to stumble upon this in the first place : |

Maybe caused by an extension.
Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of your add-ons is causing your problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).

If it does work in Safe-mode then disable all your extensions and then try to find which is causing it by enabling one at a time until the problem reappears.
You can use "Disable all add-ons" on the [[Safe mode]] start window to disable all extensions.
You have to close and restart Firefox after each change via "File > Exit" (Mac: "Firefox > Quit"; Linux: "File > Quit")

The new but not-ready-for-prime-time autocomplete method searches for matches that contain the entered text, not just ones that begin with the string. Your options are:
1) type in longer strings that narrow the search
2) use an add-on to search just the beginnings:

Create a customer code using the First letter of a customer name and the last 4 digits of a phone number

I am trying to create a form where one the customer has input their name and phone number it should grab the first letter of the customer's name and then the last 4 digits of the phone number.
I am not very good at coding, and have VERY VERY limited background in coding. I understand a little (the basics pretty much).
I am thinking i am not using the right expression to get what i want. Below is the statement I have write. This is just to find the first letter of the name, have an idea on how to get the phone number but i was trying the use the "left" and "right" functions but they wouldn't work. More specifically the left.

If you switch your language to FormCalc you can use the Left and Right functions, e.g.
